Many vendors provided stale food and when Skip was advised they did not care to address the issue or refund the money. There are limits to their refund, despite the driver or the restaurant being at fault. Why should the customer lose? Buyer beware.
I had a promo for $20 off one order. When I tried to place an order, the promo code would not show up. After placing the order, customer service said they'd only give me $20 CREDIT rather than $20 REFUND, and said I'd have to place another order to use said credit. Such a slimy, dishonest way to make people place TWO orders in order to get the $20 instead of just allowing them to use it on the first order, as the promo advertised. Deleting the app and never using this crap company again, too shady for my liking.
Change fees for a service that they don't even try to give. If you expect customer service from this unkind and incompetent company look elsewhere. I would not trust skip to take out the garbage! If I could give minus stars I would that's how bad this company is!

So - similar to many other reviews - we ordered $120 worth of food, waited, it was set to "delivered" almost immediately with no tracking. Contacted help, they said "it should be picked up soon"... and it simply never arrived. How does this happen? I can't help but think the driver said "Yep, I dropped it off" but then took it home. So, no food and I wait for a week for my credit card to be reimbursed. My daughter told me, "yeah, that happens sometimes." WHAAA? You're damn right I'm gonna "Skip".
The company wouldn't issue an honest refund on one of two items missing from my order. I had only ever requested maybe 2 refunds on 200+ orders, both extremely legitimate, and due to Skip's inability to take accountability for their mistakes, I'm so done. I placed my first order with Door Dash today, and I'm not looking back.
We ordered a pizza from our regular place. They use skip the dishes. The driver showed up at a different location and then just left. When I finally reached customer service. The guy tried to pass off a bunch of crap as an excuse. I told him to give me back my money and forget it. I have to wait 5-10 business days for my refund. What a sleazebag company. Do much for customer loyalty. I've been ordering from the same place for years and this is how you get treated.

They did not deliver the food and blamed us for entering the wrong address. We did not change or touch it on the last order and they refused to look at previous orders and look at our address on the main account. It was still untouched and the driver did not leave food in the lobby if no unit showed up. We have to contact our credit card to dispute the charge. SkipTheDishes are thieves, stealing your money. Their customer service is suck and poor as if they really do not care about you!

With no previous warning my account was locked from receiving credits. This order was placed with the same delivery instructions as I always have always supplied and the previous orders have been delivered to my door as requested.
This treatment is unacceptable that the customer should be held financially responsible for errors of the delivery driver or even errors in the food orders from the restaurant / supplier.
Credit for the missing order was refused.

Two times now my order has been wrong. They say they will refund but they partially refund, have taken more off of my cc and then not given me the return back. So now I'm out double! The online chat tells me there is nothing more they can do for me and that the refund has been issued but is never actually received. Then they cease to respond. This delivery service may be convenient but they do not care if you are double charged, have the wrong order, or care to resolve any issues. I suggest ordering from the actual location and picking up if you can... skip using skip

Used this service last evening I wiill never use it again. Absolutely I feel so upset! To boot, I am pre-diabetic and even had a low blood sugar event due to it. I was Furious when told that some email had come in to say the driver was there, but I did not even receive any phone call on two different lines listed on my account. Still very hungry, I had to deal on the phone and on e-mail with customer service. They suggested I put through another order what all restaurants were closed or closing at that time in this area. Just imagine trying to offer me some credits for their service after all that?! I finally got a refund and will absolutely never use this service again! Hungry and Furious
Skip the dishes needs to rate the restaurants on speed to get orders completed. The drivers are great, but the speed and quality of food leaves one to question why the Restaurants are not flagged for slow order processing. Last order I made, and yes this will be the last time I use this service took over an 45min at KFC, for delivery to hotel while travelling out of town. Chicken tasted like fish, there were no napkins or cutlery included. Previously ordered from Five Guy's, got stale bun and burnt to a crisp bacon. Quality does not seem to be an option these day's

I ordered food from skip the dishes. It said that the order is delivered. I checked every where but found nothing. When contacted customer service. A girl named Farah, said please look at the front door it should be there and left the chat without listening to me. The customer service team is never in the mood to serve you or to listen. They have pre written answer that they send you and would not listen to anything you have to say. I have been a regular at skip but now I will be stopping. The customer service come there to earn free money. They do not wish to work at all.
Fool me once shame on me fool me 4 times shame on you. Ordered last night didn't get my item showed no empathy or anything didn't understand my thought process. I don't understand why drivers can't check the order to see if it's right or if you see the order is for two things make sure if you pick up a bag with one you double check that's good for you and your customer. Also offer the option of skip credits and a refund why would I want to have skip credits when they have messed up too many times. Never use these scam artists.
I'm very disappointed with skip the dishes behaviour and attitude. We order food by accident from the town next to us which is more than 20 mins away and they refused to deliver and made us find someone to go pick it up and we get to enjoy ice cold food now

Horrible customer service
Ordered food tonight and the driver decided he would leave my order outside of my condo building instead of buzzing into the building and walking it down the hall to my door. He then text me to let me know he left it in the lobby which isn't possible as I didn't buzz him into the building, and said he was too scared to get on the elevator to bring me my food (I live on the first floor). By the time I put on a sweater and slippers my food was of course gone! Skip this is the 5th time your drivers have done this. Why are you forcing me to tip for service before hand when your drivers can't even do a simple task such as delivering people their food? For all I know he got himself a free dinner. He was clearly to lazy to do his job and lied about it. I will pay the higher delivery fee to Uber eats to have ny food properly delivered.
I ordered from a hotel and all went well until my order was delivered with no contact, front desk notified me my meal was in front of my door using cameras. After conversation with agent my complaint was met with curt responses and no respect. In fact the skip agent was down right rude. This is a terrible organization, i would suggest saving the fee and getting it yourself!

Every second or third order is always screwed up by the driver. They don't read instructions properly. Many many times it says it's delivered and it's not or I have to drive out and find it in my comlex! Reading English should be a requirement.
Photos are self explanatory. No one takes ownership for anything. Earlier this same day I tried to order and the courier played it off as a "delivery" as soon as he picked up my order from the restaurant and made off with it. Got a refund and I doubt the courier got a slap on the wrist for stealing my food.

Terrible customer service, if you can even call it customer service. Skip double charged me on an order. After waiting forever for the chat support, I was told they wouldn't remove the extra charge, and that I'd need to "contact my credit card company." So I did. Visa gave me a refund and in response, Skip blackballed me from the site and didn't even tell me! I'm a gold member with hundreds of dollars, if not thousands, in orders, and they put a note on my account saying I requested multiple refunds, which isn't true. I only requested that they refund a double charge. Horrible company. What a terrible way to treat good customers.
I used skip the dishes once... a month later my credit card was compromised for over 400 dollars.
Wasn't worth the hassle of having to cancel my card, and set up new payments.
There is an obvious flaw in the security of payment.

The app doesn't let you update your info or put a unit number. I used my location when I placed the order. The driver drove to my place we waved at him but he wouldn't stop or look up from his phone. He returned our order and we were blamed for the mistakes. We asked for a contact number and they refused to give it to us. They only wanted to give me a credit for less than half of what we paid. I had to hunt the number down and now I have to wait 7 days for refund. Worst customer service ever! I wish I could give 0 stars.
So some of these customers I've delivered to said leave at door. Skip banned my account becuase they didn't receive their order. I made 300 in four days they just closed my account and didn't pay me or even respond. Don't be a driver with them you will regret it I worked everyday as a side gig to help with some bills and these is how they treat their couriers who don't make much anyways
Second time they clearly delivered my food to the wrong address and refused to give me a full refund. Even included screenshots of their tracker on the app to prove I was tracking it. My girlfriend and I were sitting in the driveway waiting when the order came up 'delivered' on the app. Walked around the whole area checking if it was dropped at a neighbors house but couldn't find it. All i got was "The courier confirmed the delivery." and "we can only refund the tip and delivery fee."
Why the hell do I have to pay for your courier's mistake. At least call if you can't find the house which I clearly detailed in the description.
Horrible customer service when you have an issue. My order has been haphazardly cancelled, delivery agents abrupt and rude, food delayed etc with no concern by customer service. The delivery agents should be better trained and have some idea of how to deal with customers. This service needs to come with a warning- if you don't care how or if your food arrives and you wish to have no recourse by customer service, order with us. Too many options to throw money away to this company.
Ive tried contacting support MANY times because my orders dont get delivered to my house AND i never get any reply back nor have gotten any of my money back! Not only that! I have specific DETAILED instructions on how to get to my house, and no one gets it, Uber Eats never gets it wrong and im able to contact the drivers if they seem like they need help, which is very convenient.
The picture i have posted must be the 5th or 6th message ive sent in the span of 1 week. No answer back from them.
Im never using skip again!
