Many vendors provided stale food and when Skip was advised they did not care to address the issue or refund the money. There are limits to their refund, despite the driver or the restaurant being at fault. Why should the customer lose? Buyer beware.
I had a promo for $20 off one order. When I tried to place an order, the promo code would not show up. After placing the order, customer service said they'd only give me $20 CREDIT rather than $20 REFUND, and said I'd have to place another order to use said credit. Such a slimy, dishonest way to make people place TWO orders in order to get the $20 instead of just allowing them to use it on the first order, as the promo advertised. Deleting the app and never using this crap company again, too shady for my liking.

I have had many issues with this company from non deliveries to rude drivers, dishonest drivers, drivers that can not follow directions, and to drivers refuse to deliver and test lie to the company stating they delivered the food and then eat the food you purchased. The place I work has surveillance cameras cameras that prove the dishonesty in this company and many witnesses catching these drivers and staff being dishonest and rude to their customers. This company will take your money and often not deliver the food and good luck trying to get a refund for the food you purchased and not receive! They refuse to refund your orders!
This place is the absolute worst, they sent pork to a religious home which is highly disrespectful and on top of that we've been on hold for 33 minutes and counting! This is absolutely disturbing and this franchise should be shut down completely!
Against my own intuition, I thought I should give them a chance to redeem themselves after a couple orders were driven off by their incompetent drivers. BIG MISTAKE. Customer service won't do anything for you and now more often than not, something gets screwed up in the process of making an order and receiving food. In exchange for me never receiving a $40 order, they gave me a $5 skip credit! LOL, I'll never use them again.
Never got my food and they wouldn't give me a refund! I tried getting a hold of them through their chat box and nobody would contact me back. If you have any problems you are on your own and there is no way to contact them! Just lost $50
Never in the favour of drivers. Not enough reimbursement. Got only $5 for waiting around 40 minutes at restaurant and the order was of $10 which I didn't deliver as it wasn't ready even after 40 minutes.
I ordered some food from a local place for takeout. All the items were deep fried as we were making noodles at home. The food arrives and the chicken is bright pink in the middle and oozing red liquid. I immediately contact customer support and they say sorry... here is $2.08 in SKIP credits. The order total was $58.18! After arguing with them for over an hour I eventually got them to agree to the full refund but then I asked them to confirm when I would receive the money back. At that point the agent simply ended the chat. When I started the new chat the new agent said they could not see the details of my previous conversation. I waited 5 days and no refund. I have since issued a chargeback and they banned my account from ordering. LOL. No worries, I will stick to other services from now on! Absolutely horrendous company that will screw their customers to make a buck.
I ordered from them and it went to a different address. The people at that other address told him it was not theirs and the driver took it away. At the same time I contacted skip support and told them what happened so the driver could bring it to my address. They did not do that at all even though the driver had my food. They charged me 50% but I will cancel that on my credit card since I never received the food and the driver had time to bring it to me. Boycott this BS company.
My son who is on income support wanted to treat us to lunch today from Wendy's. The Skip the Dish driver took almost an hour to deliver, then proceeded to drop the food off at the edge of the driveway, in the process, removing all lids from the drinks and sped off. My son is trying to work with the "Live Chat" in Skip the Dishes and is getting nowhere. Please watch the attached video and you'll see exactly what I mean. Skip the Dishes should be refunding him every penny and re-delivering his order as the drinks are undrinkable, the frosties turned into watery milkshakes, and the food is ice cold - including the hamburger that is wrapped in tin foil!
Ordered over $20 tried to use $10 off coupon. No discount was applied and my food was never delivered. I tried to get help thru help chat to no avail. Went through 3 different customer service reps and none could help. Never again will I use this service.

Received an order that was completely inedible and way overpriced for what was included. After waiting over 45 minutes for a delivery from a restaurant literally 10 blocks away I received a $5 cup of luke warm broth and some sort of unidentifiable chow mein. Really? After getting in touch with a customer service Rep and explaining my dissatisfaction with the service, price and quality of food, I was insulted by being told that they would refund me 25% of the cost of the broth in skip credits. The total bill was over $50 and it was totally inedible and they offer a rufung of $1.25 in credits? When I told them that was unacceptable they offered another $5 in skip credits, which just added insult to injury! Skip the dishes doesn't care about their customers, only protecting their $#*!ty restaurants and crappy uncaring drivers. The joke really is on their customers!
95 percent of the time I use skip it is either late, not picked up or they take it to the wrong place. Not only that if you cancel they will not refund your credit card but only give you a skip credit. I can't believe a company like this takes their rewards and have no customer service to those that put you putzes in your ivory towers. I am embarrassed to have the founders from my home province. I will no longer or will anyone in my family or company use skip going forward. I really wish they had negative ratings!

Did not deliver my order and tried to blame me for it. Customer service was argumentative and rude.
They then "called me" over an unknown number and stated that they needed my credit card information over the phone because it was "more secure" than the number they already had on file.
Skip sent me two for one offer. I ordered six piece barrel and only got one, not two. Skip refused to send the second barrel and refused to do a refund. Chat involved some cut and paste boilerplate apologies rather than any attempt to rectify. Recommend not using this service ever.
Had the scariest encounter with a driver named Gursohan in Midland.After questioning why he brought a cookie instead of 3 drinks and a cookie.he just would yell call skip call skip...I did and they reimbursed me...no biggie UNTIL the driver came back to my house uninvited to argue with me and it escalated quickly...I was a single female dealing with an irate driver who was rude the first time he came and was uninvited the second time...Tim hortons stated he was in a hurry and left with only 1 bag...tried dealing with customer service who told me to hold on while they looked into it and then ended the chat and have not reached back out to me.I also had a previous order that took over 2 hours and they credited a whopping $5.00 on a $55 order...shameful
That's what's the contact support told me after waiting an hour for McDonald's order. They don't refund. They rather to get you food poisoning, they don't care of costumers, and they hiring poeples who's don't know what they are doing, don't know follows instructions,.

Ok, so I ordered some food from skip, been ordering for years now. This time a potion of my order came really cold and inedible (burger and fries) so I reached out to their support page and to be honest not impressed. They offered to refund 50% of my potion of the order even though I couldn't eat it. I've attached photos. On their website cs can issue full refunds for situations like mine. And they didn't. They refused. My wife got her food and it was great, but hers was cold menu. So we have little time together as we both work crazy hours and this just frustrated the hell out me. We didn't get to eat dinner together because of skip. I have to go to wendys and get another meal and ended up more for my dinner. Because of their lack of customer service they lost a long and loyal customer.

When i say trash. Pure trash. Literally placed and order, it said delivered, with no delivery photos.so i quickly went outside and my mom was sitting outside, I asked her if a skip person came and delivered my food. She said no one came. I contacted support, only for them to $#*!, and say that their driver said he delivered the item. The support staff was so rude to me, literally arguing with me. In times of where it's so hard to work and get money, there are still people out there that will take advantage of you. Literally can't trust them. Don't $#*!ing trust them
Skip has been a terrible food service app. I have gotten my food stolen 3 times with no refund and today i received a pizza that was stuck to the box and they wouldn't even give me half of what i spent and i even tipped... oh and i have the receipts take a look at the pics. I'm sick of this company getting away with robbing ppls money. The nerve of them to offer $5 when the pizza is stuck to the box.
Absolutely terrible service. I wouldn't even recommend to someone I don't like. I've placed orders on numerous occasions to have the delivery person take a strange route or take an additional 45 minutes to deliver my order.
My most recent experience with them my delivery was simply never delivered. I got the automated text saying my delivery should be there shortly and no one arrived. I contacted support and was given the run around about how my delivery was actually delivered and they even told me the delivery person delivered it to the same street the restaurant is located on (completely wrong address from where I actually had my delivery set to). I later had to ask several times for a refund which they begrudgingly gave me.
I won't be using this service again. Absolutely terrible.
I would give them a ZERO,! Got a text saying they were here. Stated it was delivered and it was not. Attempted to speak on chat and they disconnected. The restaurant prepared my order again and I picked it up! Skip then said it will take 5 days to get the refund. They sent me a email. But wait for it - the refund was for $6.20 less then I paid! Seriously we're they trying to charge me for delivery. Let's see if I actually get my refund!

I ordered from Skip this evening and included a bottle of wine. The driver did not follow directions and then forgot the wine. I contacted them for support through chat but was repeatedly dropped. The restaurant also called them but I still have not heard a peep. No luck through email, calls or chat. Customers are certainly not prioritized and I am now out $ for our wine. Awful company. Use Door Dash or pick it up!
I recently got banned. I have no clue why. I was such a loyal customer ordering food All the time especially with covid and then they Ban me. I messaged customer service twice and even emailed them and they both said the same thing " unusual suspicious activity " When I asked for more information they refused. So... Tell me why. Horrible. I would NEVER recommend them to anyone Else. They were my favourite and now I hate them.
Ordered from India Palace North and they cancelled the order on their end, dont know why. They still charged us and when we called they said "it was skip".? No food delivered to us. Beware when ordering from them!
I contacted customer service about an issue with an order and they ended chat and when I was finally able to contact them again the person on the other end threatened me and then proceeded to recite my address I have already been in contact with thee authorities.
I placed an order and when I went to track it it said it was delivered. It was not delivered here. No idea where the driver left my meal. It is not like I can even reach anyone at SkipTheDishes. So I am left with no food, no help and no money. Did I mention I spent the last 30.00 I had. It is criminal how hard it is to get help, especially with how much it cost to use their service. I ordered food because I felt a migraine starting, now I have a full blown migraine. I doubt I will even be able to drive home. Why because you hire incompetent drivers and have terrible customer support. I wish I could give you a minus 100 star rating.
