Many vendors provided stale food and when Skip was advised they did not care to address the issue or refund the money. There are limits to their refund, despite the driver or the restaurant being at fault. Why should the customer lose? Buyer beware.
I had a promo for $20 off one order. When I tried to place an order, the promo code would not show up. After placing the order, customer service said they'd only give me $20 CREDIT rather than $20 REFUND, and said I'd have to place another order to use said credit. Such a slimy, dishonest way to make people place TWO orders in order to get the $20 instead of just allowing them to use it on the first order, as the promo advertised. Deleting the app and never using this crap company again, too shady for my liking.
I ordered two breakfast burgers and a smoothie from mcdonald's. It said that the driver would be at my location in 67 minutes, then it went to 38 minutes within a second, then he was in a wholenother location. Then i get a notification saying that he delivered the order downstairs. My friend went down and even waited 2 minutes. NOTHING WAS THERE. My delivery driver is a crook who made some bull$#*! excuses. He stated that he had a "flat tire" when he's probably some crook who just ate my food. I lost my sympathy for people.

Why doesn't Skip The Dishes validate the address? As I rarely use the app, my order ended up at a different location. I realize I was supposed to include the address but can they not validate the address before finalizing the order? I cant be the only one that this has ever happened to. Not happy right now. Very disappointed with this app and service.
The driver drove to the wrong side of town with my order. Not only did he drive 20 minutes away from the restaurant in the opposite direction of my house, he didn't get to my house for another 30 minutes after that.
My food was cold and ruined; I ordered wood-fire cooked pizza and the crust wasn't crispy. Skip gave me a $7 refund. I complained again, because this was a $50 order; the garlic bread alone was worth $8. The best they could do was a 50% refund, but this wouldn't even cover the cost of the pizza.
They used to be my favorite courier company, and now they are dead to me.
Ordered game day pizza. Pizza 1 arrived and looked like the driver or resturant played football with it. Got a credit and placed the same order again and told they would make sure it came in perfect condition and speak with the driver. Pizza 2 arrived another 40 mins later and looked like the driver did a brake stand on it. The driver sat in my kitchen trying to speak to his supervisor and got placed on hold with a hold time of 10 mins.
Very Poor customer service and now i see they treat the employees the same way to resolve any issue. Same robotic chat responses over and over. Company waiting to eat, ordered at 6pm and finally on the 3rd try a pizza arrived that looked edible at 8:30

I've used skip for a very long time, and honestly have had many issues with my order, but typically it's so minor that I never bother to follow up. Today, I placed an order as I would not be home to make dinner, they delivered a completely different order and I got nothing that I ordered. I contacted skip as this was supposed to feed my family at home and the order I received was wrong and not even close to enough to feed my family. I was told by skip that I have requested too many refunds in the past (I have never requested a refund) I wasn't even requesting a refund, I wanted MY order delivered. Before I could respond they abruptly ended the chat. I tried to contact them again and a representative logged on and logged ended the chat right away. Thankfully, I was able to contact the restaurant who happily corrected the mistake, despite the fact that it was the delivery person's error. This is very poor customer service and if you make a mistake you should own up to it.
I've had many problems over the years. Today was the last straw. They claimed that there was "suspicious" activity going on with my account, so they closed it. Meanwhile boarderline stealing my money. They gave me "skip credits" for an order I placed after it was canceled but right away deactivated my account. I have screenshots of both conversations I had with service, saying they could not help me. The first one closing our conversation not letting me finish what I was saying. The second disregarding my issues and finally sent a request to their manager. Never order through them, there drivers have also stolen my food before.
How hard is it to pick up an order and delivery to the right address.
Too complicate for skip drivers.
I've waited 45 minutes to be told to bad the driver gave it to the wrong customer.
Wtf.
And now i have to wait a week to get my money back.
Never again.
We ordered from them last night. We never received the order. We contacted them but they denied and refused to refund us the $90 we paid (including generous tip).
I will never order from this company ever again in my life!

Ordered skip the dishes from deluxe and they sent it to the wrong hotel. I called and had them tell me they couldn't help me even though the person was not even at the store yet. So in that means I sent my order to somebody else. And they got my $30 meal. Thanks a lot, skip the dishes. I went hungry that night. And I appreciate your team and all their help that they did not do. Just wanted to let you know how much you suck. And I will not be using you ever again.
Driver Sharmarke refused to deliver my food to leave outside my suite door per written instructions. Left it in the lobby (without telling me) in the same place where all he had to do was buzz my number to be let in. When asked by Skip why, he just said he "couldn't deliver." No other explanation. They then contacted him again and found out he left my food in the lobby. That was almost an hour after trying the chat line (down), Facebook and messenger (no reply) and, finally, the phone number (on hold for 30 min). I guess it's down to Uber now, Skip.
I ordered food from skip the dishes and they did not deliver it to my house. Instead they kept my money and did not reimburse me like they said they would. Absolutely horrible service, nothing but a shady business.
I have waited for two hours for delivery which is not acceptable, very disappointed in the service. Nobody should have to wait that long for a delivery if they do money or credit to the app should be considered.
Skip the dishes is a horrible food delivery service! I've ordered from them a few times and I will NEVER be ordering again. Once I ordered from a restaurant 10 minutes from my house and the driver they sent was 50 minutes away. I waited 1.5hours for my food to be delivered to me. When I complained their customer service associate was rude and offered no help. Another time I ordered, the food just never came to my house. Don't make the mistake of ordering from here, uber eats is way better.
Ordered breakfast before work at 7:51am and its not 9:40am ive been on the phone with skip on hold for 30 min so far and their chat blows a FAT $#*! just lie their company its a matter of time before these peeps go bankrupt due to customer service. Doordash is on par!
It's best to pick up your order. Skipthedishes don't care about their customers. Drivers take your order and never make their way to the store to pick up the order to deliver it and they have no way of contacting driver, Waiting for someone to chat with is ridiculous. Within 10 days for your full refund in your account ridiculous. Let's go back to how we used to order food this is not the way.
Yup I ordered a pizza for $48 and the tracking app said it's on the way. 45, 30, 20, 12, 4, 1 minute but it never showed up. I called the restaurant they said the pizza is sitting in the countertop no one came to pick it up. Ripped off. They said order through us and we'll bring you the pizza, oh ya for another $40 I get the sake pizza. Argos Greek and Skip the dishes are thrives and a rip off. Order from me and Eds much better and cheaper

I recently ordered food, this was the second time ever using the service. So being fresh to his things worked out; I obviously didn't know how they went about things. First time ordering I ordered from a friend's motel room and had it go there. Second order I ordered from home. I must be used to Uber and it just going by your location. It goes by last order or default... I realized mistake when the driver was half way to his destination and basically driving right passed my house. 44th ²nq
I messaged skip to. What my options were knowing that I was SOL... not sure what I was lookibg to get from then but don't think j needed to be brushed off
My fat neighbor gets daily deliveries from them a few times a day and the delivery drivers think they have the right to block my driveway and inconvenience me because it will be for a minute or so.
Last week just as I was to pull up to the driveway a skip the dishes driver just a head of me drove into my driveway to park. I told him to move it, he said it will only be 1 min.
I blocked him in for a hour and called bylaw.
So no I do not have any tolerance what so ever for anyone parking in front of my driveway even if it is for only a minute or so.
Skip the dishes drivers are among the worst.
Driver Dharmendra left our food out of the apartment building front door on the floor near dogs disposals are and left. We left instructions and even phone number to call. We have him tip and he was total. Never using Skip the dish again
Worst Customer Service on the planet. They also don't have anywhere you can review the company or make suggestions. I guess they just ignore the customer service aspect. Ordered food, was missing item. Unlike when you order from a restaurant where they fix you order and redeliver the missing items, Skip expects you to take credits so you can reorder yourself and retip the driver and wait the full length of time for new order. Apparently they can't just take care of it. So now I'll just go back to ordering directly from the restaurant.
Skip the dished Calgary has delivered the wrong order to me again and of couse you cant phone the they wont refund my order or fix it A@W will replace it if i go there. Really sucks out fifty bucks and no food

I only received half my order, contact the robots of customer service and they offered me 5$ skip the dish credit, they didn't send 48$ worth of food! Even called the restaurant and the restaurant confirmed they missed sending half the order and let skip the dish know to offer me credit and they still wont such a scam
SkiptheDishes came to our door with an order. Told driver we never ordered anything but he told us it was a surprise and he had to deliver to the address that was on his order. Three hours later, our doorbell rang and it was the person looking for his order. Didn't appreciate strangers coming to our door and for SkiptheDishes using our address for a pickup site. I would not trust SkiptheDishes with my order.
Hours long wait to be told it's been delivered but never arrives, lucky if you can order anywhere else as by this time everywhere else is probably closed. They offer skip credits to make it up, but why would you want to order from them again? Refund takes ten days. I forgot this was why I stopped ordering from them before. If you need to borrow my money for a week skip the dishes there's better ways then taking hungry people's money. SKIP THIS APP WOULD GIVE IT 0 stars if I could.
I ordered and paid for food that was not delivered and when I contacted them they simply said the driver Said he delivered it. I was out $40 with no dinner in hand. Awful customer service will not use them again
