Many vendors provided stale food and when Skip was advised they did not care to address the issue or refund the money. There are limits to their refund, despite the driver or the restaurant being at fault. Why should the customer lose? Buyer beware.

I had a promo for $20 off one order. When I tried to place an order, the promo code would not show up. After placing the order, customer service said they'd only give me $20 CREDIT rather than $20 REFUND, and said I'd have to place another order to use said credit. Such a slimy, dishonest way to make people place TWO orders in order to get the $20 instead of just allowing them to use it on the first order, as the promo advertised. Deleting the app and never using this crap company again, too shady for my liking.

If I could give less than one star for this company I would. I ordered food the other night and when the app said my food had arrived we went downstairs in my apartment building to meet the driver there, no one showed up and then I got a notification saying my food was delivered.

We gave them the benefit of the doubt being a previous courier driver myself, I know instructions can be misunderstood easily, so we looked around outside in case it was next to the doors or somewhere else. It was no where to be found so, I went into the support chat and explained my situation and they come to tell me that skip as unmet my expectations numerous times so they could not process me a refund and left the chat before I could say anything else. This happened to me with two different support team members and the third gave me more answers but still didn't help me get my refund.

I have never had an experience like this with skip or any other delivery service in my life and I order from them lots (without asking for refunds.). Needless to say SkipTheDishes has lost myself and my friends as supporters because all they do is scam people and take their money. Worst customer service, worst company.

Twice this week I ordered wendys and did not get my full order. Today they actually sent me a single baked potatoe. I ordered enough food for 4 people and they sent me a baked potatoe. They don't deserve o e star but I am forced to give it to make this review.

Terrible drivers that can't follow directions and phone 5 times to deliver cold food, customer service is non existent, will just go pick my own food up it will save time, frustration and money!

I was literally robbed by this company. I just installed this app yesterday. I made the first order with some delivery instructions; all good with that driver. Then today I made another order with the same delivery instructions. This driver never delivered my food. I contacted their customer service and they told me it was my fault because I was not home and the driver couldn't reach me. I WAS HOME ALL THE TIME. Then, I thought "OK, I just go to the restaurant and pick my order". I went to the restaurant 2 hours later and they told me that the driver never returned my order. Skip The dishes is refusing to refund my money.

Never use this app, use Uber Eats, they have very good customer service.

My husband ordered food today and the God dame driver was driving around Oshawa and we wanted 45 minutes for our food and my husband called skip the dishes and the guy on the phone was so rude and he had the $#*!en never to give us a 10% off of our next Time we will never order from them again who ever runs skips needs to shut it down and should be ashamed of them selfs. Please don't order from them if u do than u are going to regret it. This is the second time.

Driver went to the wrong locatoin and took 50 minutes; i noticed on tracking and tried to get it fixed in advance but was told if food was terrible they would resolve once i got it (like seriously?). Of course food was cardboard and straight into garbage and they graciously decided that they would only RIP ME OFF half my money. Ill be using DOOR DASH in future

Skip the dishes basically just stole from me. I placed an order for later in the day, double checked the time i set it for. The site started the delivery for ASAP. When I noticed I contacted support and was told they would get it postponed. A few hours later I found out they couldn't postpone it and also didnt bother to contact me about it so I didn't get my order and they wont resend it or refund the money, thanks criminals.

Placed an order that should take 30min-40min to get. An hour later it says it was delivered and my food was still not delivered. Got on the CHAT IN on the skip the dishes app. The person says the driver had car problems. The person then tried to lie to me saying they tried to call me but I had my phone on me the whole time watching the progress of my order. After waiting over two hours of trying to get food for my 84 year old mom. The person says that I am not getting my food anymore. I would think that this being a service. That they would treat their customers better after they $#*! up on their end. I will NEVER order from them again.

I order mcdonalds from skip the dishes for my kids multiple times a month. Occasionally an item is missing and since I paid for it I ask for a refund. It has never happened twice consecutively or even been excessive in my opinion. Apparently I did that too much so they flagged my account and banned me which is petty since the refunds were typically for an item worth less than $3. I was very confused since I had ordered twice since I last requested a refund with no problems. There is also no way to see any record of any refund you request or if there is its hidden. And I would say I requested less than 5 refunds total. The thing that I am the most annoyed about is that they did not tell me that I can no longer order and I spent almost 3 hours this evening either checking to see why payment would not go through or speaking with multiple representatives before finding out I am no longer welcome as a customer. They also said that I have multiple accounts under my main profile (see screenshot) which makes no sense and is not true. I only have one account that I use on the app on my phone. If you're going to ban someone you should at least save them a massive headache and TELL them. Don't even get me started on them saying they are "sad to see you go" as though you are voluntarily no longer a customer. They also acted like they had no idea what I was talking about when I requested to close my account. I went through 2 separate representatives and had to send them a screenshot of their own terms of service before they agreed to close my account. Just awful customer service.

Skip the dishes does not tell you if they flag your account for suspicious activity.

This morning I ordered breakfast from Cora's. When the courier reached my condo (or what he thought was my condo), he called and said he would not be coming upstairs to drop my contact-less order to my door, as other couriers do. He said and I quote, "I do not want to touch the buzzer as I am scared that I will get Covid." I said that is fine, I am coming downstairs to get my order. By the time I got down there, he was gone and my order was not there. I had to go to three different complexes and found my order sitting in the corner of another complex lobby. He also took half of my order with him. His name is Belay. This is unacceptable and I did make a complaint to Skip. The crappy part is that it's the second time this has happened to me all within a span of two weeks! Skip only gave me a full refund after I threatened to leave a bad review, which I still did because they clearly hire people without common sense. If I could give 0 stars, I would.

Extremely poor service. I WAS WAITING FOR MY ORDER FOR MORE THAN 2 HOURS... Online app showed the food has been picked up by the driver. But upon inquiry with the restaurant the food was not even picked up. Waited for almost 30 mins on the call to speak to a csr rep. No one picked up. Final result no food... escalation. And no refund!. Will never order again using Skip the Dishes. I would rename the company as skip the company.

So ill never again order from skip the dishes they don't follow orders. They gave me tbe wrong order. I talked to skip and they said no refunds aloud after sending in pics of proof that they messed up my order they wouldn't even give me a new order or a refund. Then one time I dodnt even get my order they wouldn't even give me skip credits they were rude about it. Some of the skip delivery people are very rude as well as just leave the food at the door no knocking to let u know there here. I'm so over this bs they should be charged for scamming us. never again will I give them the time of day I won't be using there services anymore. Please watch out when u order from them please they lie and they take your food or leave it at the door or leave it at the wrong door. Learn to shop and do orders the right way thanks but u are rude people.

I placed an order and was told it was cancelled before the restaurant confirmed it, so I ordered elsewhere. I later received my food from the order that went through, to receive a call saying my food was on its way from the other restaurant. Turns out the app duplicated my order from the original restaurant, charged me for both the cancelation and the duplicate, and my intended order. I am now out $100 and the only thing I'm getting is in app credit. Wouldn't recommend using skip.

I placed an order from SkipTheDishes and the order was not delivered. On raising the refund request, they denied refund. Additionally the chat functionality never ever works. Please DELETE THE APP from your phones.

Had ordered food today and the driver delivered to the wrong address at a neighbour behind our house. I walked over to collect the food. The home owner was very kind and said he informed driver it's the wrong address. Then he mentioned to me he's never used Skipthedishes or online delivery services... so how did they get his address, who knows!

So, we decided to chat to skipthedishes about the food we paid for. Their agent told us we entered wrong address. But we have an account and the address is picked up form the profile we create which in past has been working.

We also noticed our address was given as a separate line under the wrong address line in their delivery order so something is wrong with their system on how they add address.

Yet, the agent was rude and abrupt enough to insist their system is ok - when we can clearly see our address line below the wrong one in delivery note. He (Jay K) could not bother to confirm the right address and inform the driver to deliver and rectify the whole situation. Instead, he just decides to give a 50% refund and exit the chat!

So, we lose 50% of our money, we don't get the food, while facing an arrogant agent who refuses to listen or use his intelligence to understand that an already existing profile/account automatically picks up the address.

This company should be sued to oblivion! They are an absolute sham and should not be allowed to continue - disgraceful!

Tip for consumers:
Avoid this company at all costs !! Disgraceful and unhelpful staff and bad systems and no ability or care to help resolve problems for customers.

I placed an order at Wendy's $55 order everything in my order was either soggy cold wrong items and small portions when I contact skip the dishes they were ignorant insulted me and then disconnected the conversation without resolving the problem so this is how they work I suggest you use Uber Eats or doordash skip the dishes has fallen down

I put in an order to a place that is very close to me, just across the highway from me. I waited an hour, no food. I messaged them asking what was going on snd they said my delivery driver was 10-12 minutes away. So I waited some more, another hour goes by, still no food and the app still says they're on their way with my food. I message them again, they tell me again, the driver is 10-12 minutes away. By that time I told them to cancel my food order and give me my refund. They were unable to give me back my refund and I still have no food. Their excuse for no refund was because the food had already been picked up. I placed my order at 1230pm, it is now almost 330pm and I still have no refund and no food.

Skip the dishes is a VERY dishonest organization that knows nothing about customer service! I ordered a meal and received the wrong order, due to this they refunded my total amount of $37.44, BUT THEN they charged my visa $18.60. I've explained to them multiple times that I've confirmed the charge with my bank and that they in fact did charge me $18.60 and they continue to say that they didn't. I've showed them credit card statements and all and they continue to deny it. I spoke with one of their customer service representatives "Kai" who told me I'm embarrassing myself by telling him/her that they did charge my credit card and my financial institution confirmed the charge, because they "didn't charge me anything" and then blocked me from being able to communicate with them. I've emailed the head office/ support management of this organization and have received no reply days later. Save your time and order from either door dash or Uber eats because I've never heard of a company stealing from the people that support them and then denying it. Do yourself a favour and delete your account and make sure you take all your credit card information with you as who knows how much money they'll want to steal from someone next.

SKIP THE DISHES (Southern Ontario)
This company is absolutely horrible! I have given them so many chances, given them large tips nothing improves after many deliveries.
Here are a few ACTUAL delivery instances:
Food cold and no warmer bag
Late delivery, but put in the system as delivered, then food comes 15 minutes later
Driver randomly calling me (after 45 min wait) stating:"I need your address I don't have it"
Then driver becomes irate because I couldn't believe a delivery person leaves the store without customers address and therefore I was skeptical
Delivered to my neighbors on 3-4 separate occasions, then put in the system as delivered
Tried to call around and/or text to see why it was put in as delivered
(Restaurants also basically once they hand the food over to the drivers...could care less how it arrives or if it arrives let alone time.it arrives)
Food must have been handled carelessly because the sauce containers, and food containers spilled and leaked all over bag, food disheveled, 3 times different restaurants
Staples removed from sealed bag
Placing food on floor of porch when instructions state place on patio TABLE on the porch
Food placed on floor of porch near steps and far from the door
Dispatch or office rude and disregard complaints multiple occasions

Was a reg customer for a while then last thursday overcharged me. I didnt know toll i checked bank that they charged me twice. Restraunt called skip for me whete mad too i delred my account right away told them i wanted money on card put it on as credits i give up skip guy on phone was fude am done with skip lost my business i use uber eats now never again will i use them..

I will NEVER again order from skip the dishes the delivery driver literally threw the food at the door an ran away. The whole $60 meal we ordered for 2 was all ran out bag is actually NOT reusable due to how much sauce ran out and i tipped 20% #absolutelydisgusted

Terrible experience. The driver never showed up at my door, when I contacted them I was told the food was already delivered to the address. When I said it wasn't I was treated like a liar. I was told the driver confirmed he delivered the food and there's nothing else that can be done. And that's how I lost $28.26 ordering from skipthegoddamndishes. And that's not the first time I had a problem with them. But it is the last. Never ordering from them again.

I ordered from KFC. Entered my credit card info, paid. The order was cancelled because the restaurant was unresponsive. Skip refunded me in Skip credit. No biggie, I just ordered from a different KFC & used the credits. Order came & it was wrong. So, I called rastaurant but no one answered. I contacted Skip to ask what the proper chain of complaint was. Skip refunded me, which was appreciated but not their responsibility. Here it gets dicey. The gave me Skip credits. I told tje gentleman that I am on vacation in Nova Scotia & I don't have Skip in my location of Ontario so Skip credits are useless. He refused to refund my credit card. That's a joke! There has to be a bette rsystem
