Many vendors provided stale food and when Skip was advised they did not care to address the issue or refund the money. There are limits to their refund, despite the driver or the restaurant being at fault. Why should the customer lose? Buyer beware.

I had a promo for $20 off one order. When I tried to place an order, the promo code would not show up. After placing the order, customer service said they'd only give me $20 CREDIT rather than $20 REFUND, and said I'd have to place another order to use said credit. Such a slimy, dishonest way to make people place TWO orders in order to get the $20 instead of just allowing them to use it on the first order, as the promo advertised. Deleting the app and never using this crap company again, too shady for my liking.

I ordered a McDonald's breakfast and got the wrong order. And something was added to Coke (there are no such flavors in Mac Donalds), the courier added something and support refused to help. The money was not returned either for food or for moral damage! Terrible service! Awful! The courier is a disgusting person! And the service is terrible!

Warning. If using their app always check your address... They predictively used qn address which i was at two days prior, which i never opened the app in the first place at, and i had placed an order. Realizing i quickly contacted their customer service to try and cancel the order. Spoke to someone named Jaya. They didnt reply to me until the driver had the order and took so long the order had been delivered to the wrong address. Ignored me and then left the chat. I finally got another rep and they wasted another 20 minutes of my time to tell me i could only recieve 50% of said order placed. Worst response time worst customer service. Il never use them again

I got scammed cause either I had things from my order missing or didn't get my order at all and then I get a noticed it was brought to me bull$#*! it did. Where like where the hell is it cause it's nowhere at outside my home;( they are liars and ps don't even bother trying to get ahold of them cause they will say you have to wait there ppl are in to help! It was 1:30pm wtf do you mean nobody is working at that moment where the hell are they seriously but yet someone did message back saying nobody can help me to wait $#*! and send me a email on getting my money back ya bull$#*! on that I haven't at all got no damn email which is telling me I won't be refunded back

This is what would happen when you order dishes from them. They will attempt to reach you only once, and they will hang up the phone and leave the place if you don't answer the phone call within 5 seconds. FIVE SECONDS! If you complain about it, they will keep lying that they have called you twice, waited for 7 minutes outside and sent you a notification. They would even say that their agent have tried to contact you after failing the delivery. They will take your money and never return without delivering foods. The delivery guy will receive even tip from you. Besides you cannot explain your situation fully because their customer service team will rudely hang up the phone, saying that they are very exhausted because of your complaint. In result, YOU WOULD TRULY SKIP YOUR DISHES!

Driver couldn't find my address, didn't try contacting me, but said in the app your courier has dropped off food he didn't drop off, said he contacted me which he didn't. I spent hours chatting with what seems like bots before I finally got a full refund, but I was relentless. Had I given in I wouldn't have. And it was literally hours of time and I had either wasn't heard or wasn't believed. The building # was missing but he had my cell phone and I was waiting at the door and he never attempted to contact me and I've had successful deliveries here before

The app gave wrong location Customer service took way to long and was Extremely unhelpful.
Will NOT use this lack of service again. Removed from all devices. Not Recommended

We placed and order and the app tracked our location incorrectly, we are now short $70 and customer service ignored my questions like "what can we do to get our food?" "can we contact the driver?" "how is the app tracking the location incorrectly our fault?" and all we got was a 50% refund in SKIP POINTS which we DIDNT receive either way.

We ordered from EDO Japan Namao. The restaurant prepared the order. The skip driver canceled the order. Why-how-NO idea. The restaurant tried to get another driver from skip with no success. We paid 15% advance tip to a driver who never showed. We ended up picking up the order ourselves. Will never pay an advance tip again. How to get a refund for the SKIP fees and driver tip? No clue. The skip website has no leads. Feel absolutely cheated. Shame. Trying to support local and feel cheated.

Don't waste your time or money on this app... food never arrives because the drivers know at this point they can get away with whatever they want... they can literally eat your fckn food and say they delivered it and boom you lost out on money$$$ USE Uber eats... not much better but atleast they stick to there word/policy and give you a FULL REFUND if your food doesn't show up/ is messed up, where as SkipTheDishes will tell your to $#*! yourself or just never reply to your complaints... I give the app 2yrs before bankruptcy takes them out and I'm praying on it.

My location was active on the app & skip the dishes sent my food that i payed for to the wrong adress & weren't at all polite. They denied resending the food to my correct adress or refunding me. I will never be ordering off of here again.

They sent my order to another address and I had to wait I my lobby because my order said 5 min away and then they ignored me
They don't care and will never care about our orders

Ordered through skip the dishes Dartmouth today McDonalds delivery damn driver who is east indian of the same race $#*!ing ignorant didnt follow directions argued with him on the phone concerning my instructions and my food well he didnt come to the door as stated wouldnt deliver my food at first i told him i was calling the police and having him charged my food would be cold i was mad so he put it at the wrong door i was mad i told him im having you charged if you tampered with my food be the last time i hate east indian drivers they are so ignorant

Terrible $#*! company have made over 300+ orders and these donkeys couldnt refund me for my order that i tried contacting them about for being wrong. Use uber eats instead.

Last 4 orders, their drivers could not find our address. We've used them a lot! Do they reach out? Nope, you have to use their chat service which has two options.

Ordered $70 worth of food that never got delivered. Waited 2 hours. Called the restaurant, they said it was sent. Driver likely took it and ran as I paid via credit card.

Delivery person trespasses, not wearing mask, brushes right past me to short cut for a delivery next door. Then does it again on the way back! Foolish and Disrespectful!

Ever since I started using skip the dishes the services have been questionable. Regarding the quality of the meal, I would say its 3/10, or they find new employees to put your package together since we're not always getting exactly what we order, or the food being packaged while its not even half cooked. Someone get a grip and shut that enterprise down BEFORE I GET SICK FROM THEM Thanks!

Order from McDonald's. Order arrived with missing nuggets and seal on bag broken. Skip the Dishes refuses to give refund. Why should I pay for something I didn't receive.

A joke. Entire site went down for 3 hours, then they gave up and are not answering questions till tomorrow.
Also they charged me for the same order twice

Incomplete orders, orders not delivered, terrible customer service. Done with skip. At least Uber Eats uses a code system to ensure your order is sent to the right address.

Don't ever purchase a gift certificate! They take your money but don't email you the card or verification code. Next time skip Skip the Dishes and go somewhere else.

Ordered a 90 dollar meal and it was never delivered but the driver said he delivered it so I didn't get any kind of refund at all. If you're thinking about ordering. Don't do it.

Total incompetence. Just a complete trash, scum filled company where they take your money for an order and then do not deliver it. Waited over 3 hours for a delivery that had a promise time of 30-45 minutes that never arrived. Tried to call their customer service line a dozen times during the process and it never goes through, automatically being disconnected which indicates it's a fake number. This is illegal and a violation of the consumer rights act of Canada which explicitly indicates that a business must have a functional, easily accessible customer service number provided and available. I also called the actual store where the order was supposed to be picked up from and the employee that I spoke with told me that the food had to be thrown out since it sat around and no driver ever showed up for pick up.

I ended up having to file a charge back with my credit card company since when I finally did get a hold of someone the next day through their terrible "online chat", (that also was not functioning during the order process) I was given the excuse that they were "too busy" and then was disconnected. No accountability, no apology, no compensation for my wasted time.

CONCLUSION: Only order from these thieves if you enjoy having your money stolen, time wasted and then given the run around scrambling for a solution to their complete disregard for you as a customer. Save the headache and drive to the store yourself.
