Many vendors provided stale food and when Skip was advised they did not care to address the issue or refund the money. There are limits to their refund, despite the driver or the restaurant being at fault. Why should the customer lose? Buyer beware.

I had a promo for $20 off one order. When I tried to place an order, the promo code would not show up. After placing the order, customer service said they'd only give me $20 CREDIT rather than $20 REFUND, and said I'd have to place another order to use said credit. Such a slimy, dishonest way to make people place TWO orders in order to get the $20 instead of just allowing them to use it on the first order, as the promo advertised. Deleting the app and never using this crap company again, too shady for my liking.

Ordered through skip from a local restaurant tonight, after not receiving my order and then contacting customer service, I waited on chat with them for about 30 minutes to be told they would not refund or look into it further. Never verified the address the driver said it was delivered to, no proof was given to me that it had been delivered anywhere besides the automated text message. I've used skip several times with no issues but after this incident and how poorly managed their customer service is, i will not be using their services again. No refund, no looking into it, and no verifying where the driver actually left it, and then tried to blame me by saying next time i should make sure the order details on my profile are correct.

Good luck trying to get your money back when they
Mess up your order! There is no telephone number you can use to talk to a human, and all you have is an email address for support that is staffed by incompetent dumb $#*!s who cannot understand a simple issue and just reply back with stupid responses! Disappointed! Why the $#*! are these support centers not located in the Americas?

Almost don't see the point to write this because it's been said 100 times over.
I've had enough of this company and will never use their service again. Driver stole my kids dinner then went off duty. Skip refused to do anything about it besides offer some dumb $5 credit for the inconvenience. They don't stand by their service AT ALL so every time you order you are risking the possibility of having to find another way to get it if they randomly decide not to show up. They refuse to re-send an order but will offer you skip credit to make another order yourself. They take ZERO responsibility for their couriers. ZERO.
I will just save myself the headache from here on out and find another way.

Depending on the person delivering my order, they either get my address right on the first try, or they get it horribly wrong! I wrote clear delivery instructions to make finding my apartment fool-proof, since there are two identical buildings side by side, but some of these delivery people obviously don't read it as it's becoming a regular thing now for me to hunt them down. I think I'll order pick up from now on. It's not worth the hassle.

Please order straight from the restaurants. This people are a joke. Missing items all the time, just dropping food at your front door with sauce coming out from containers. The last delivery I got the delivery guy just made a mess at my front door and when I called to complain they offer a 5 dollars credit. Best part it's the customer service people names. Between Queen or king You chose. Never ordering from them again. THIS APP SUCKS. I still waiting for a phone call from the manager who supposed to call me last week.

No matter how badly they screw up (and they do far too often), they will never issue a full refund. Today I ordered an item that cost only 1/3 of the total they charged me, after the service fee, delivery fee, tip, and taxes. Owing to their incompetence, I received something that went directly into the garbage but still had to pay for a portion of the costs. Their whole business model is a con job.

Spent over $56 for dinner this evening for my son and myself which the courier marked it as delivered but it was nowhere to be found even though we saw he was close to the house on the map. Guess it ended up in Robert's big fat mouth somewhere in Mississauga. Just to make things even more frustrating, the useless customer services spout the same scripted drivel everytime I have had to get in touch with them. Unfortunately this is not the first time this has happened. I don't think I will be using Skip the Dishes anymore as its not fun wondering whether or not your meal will be delivered or not. Skip are just not reliable.

Twice in a row one of my beverages ordered did not show up with the delivery. Both times I requested a refund for the missing item. The first one was denied with no explanation as to why and the second one didn't even get a response. I'm thoroughly disgusted with them. I'll no longer be using them and I recommend others stop using them until skip shows that they have repaired their customer service flaws.

I ordered another of food one day for 5 people. Cost well over $100! I accidentally put the wrong address, because they don't ask you if this is the right address, they just use the last address you used. I contacted support within 1 second! The agent was so rude and so useless! He said sorry it's been more than 5 mins I can't cancel it. Been more than 5 mins because they take forever to answer your! I told him we were not there and just to get the driver to go to the other address. He said no sorry, nothing I can do! My husband had to drive to the restaurant to pick up the food himself! And then to put the cherry on top, they flagged my account as suspicious! Are you kidding me right now? Worst company in the world! How about hiring people from Canada instead of India? They might understand better.

Sorry I'm really not racist. My friend are Indian, I was just extremely angry!

Tonight we had a gathering of 3 people and were eagerly anticipating a delivery from Skip…instructions were sent as to protocol advising lobby code for door and to please knock and leave order. Courier did not use code but allowed a building resident to let him in and so no notification. Went to tracking and realized delivery had been made and likely sat at the door for a good length of time. To add insult to injury the food was horrendous, cold and overall experience very disappointing. Will likely go with Door Dash next time.

My past few orders from Skip, complete Food items were Missing! And No refund was given to me at all. They said that I asked for too many refunds in the past which was Also a complete Lie as it was only my First time asking for a refund. Skip really Sucks Big Time and definitely ripped me off! Won't be going through them anymore. Door Dash it is!

I order lots of food from delivery services and few times I had a terrible orders with different problems. In skip, I got two times rotten, spoiled products and they initiated only 50% of refund when it supposed to me whole refund because I just threw away this garbage. You should never use it.

I ordered a meal for my family, watched the Skip driver pick it up, and then it's like they disappeared with all my food! I ordered on more than enough time before close!

So, what happened?! Did the driver eat my family's food? On top of that, they didn't even give me a full refund!

What kind of people are they hiring?!

I have now deleted my payment information on the app, and disconnected my Google for payment information and credit card info too - I can't find ANYWHERE on the app to completely delete my account though (but, they're NOT going to hold any of my financial info on it) - delete this app!

Doordash is much more reliable and had better customer service too!

You guys have been steeling people's food a lot matter fact it's been going on for awhile I caught you steeling and you blocked me for ordering refunded my money in skip credits then ghost me lol it's okay I'll make sure this company falls I'll make sure people know that you scam them you lie. An your unprofessional. I ain't someone you mess with. An I got screen shots of everything your employees has said n done to me..

There are fatal flaws in the business practices of Skip the Dishes. 1. You have to pay full price when you place an order, but if an incomplete order is delivered, refunds are very difficult to get. 2. Apparently their delivery drivers do not check that an order is complete when they pick it up from the restaurant, so the customer is left holding a half-empty bag. 3. When contacted about the problem, Skip does NOT provide clear directions about how to fix the problem. Customer persistence results in Skip ending the communication.

They do not know how to treat they're customers when things go wrong in an order. It's unacceptable and they need to figure it out. We had food say delivered twice in 1 week. And never actually was delivered. After an hour and a half of waiting the driver got a flat tire.

They have terrible workers and terrible customer service. I didn't receive my order and they will not refund or compensate in any kind of way. You will risk losing your money and scammed if you use their app. At least Uber eats compensates. Will never use their app again they literally stole my money and left me with no food in the middle of the night

First and last time using this service. Received completely wrong order and could not get 3 different "customer service" reps to understand what my problem was. Was promised a refund, but what I wanted was my food (and reading other reviews I'm not over optimistic about that refund ever coming).
Terrible company.

After an hour of waiting, driver turned of his location. Food didn't arrive. I'm sent a receipt for something we didn't even receive! Absolutely garbage! Then didn't say what happened to my order and offered a refund in their stupid points system! What a joke!

Made an order. Skip called and help change the order because food was not available. Skip called again and changed order but then order never showed up. After spending over 30 dollars, I got 67 points. And portland jerk in brampton ontario is no better.

I ordered from Cheesecake Cafe and a driver named Tammy in Calgary, Alberta did not deliver my food once. It was crazy, i was staring at my phone (I was hungry) and it said she buzzed for like half a second. She hung up, I thought she would buzz again, she didn't, so I waited, eventually I came downstairs, and Tammy could not be found! Can you believe, the driver stole my food. If you are using skip the dishes, make sure you pay cash so the driver HAS to come and get the money. I got a refund but the people on the chat can only give you a refund or skip credits. This is something that needs to be shared with management or the owners. Stealing from customers is unacceptable.

I'm so beyond angry at the services I've been receiving from skip in Cornwall Ontario. Everytime I try to make an order I get a call saying something I ordered is unavailable and the only other replacement option is also unavailable. I do not want to wait up to 10 days to receive my money back and skip credits are not worth my time and money. Food always comes cold, takes a long time and the customer service is the worst I've ever dealt with.

Tip for consumers:
Don't use this app!
Don't waste your time or money!
Use Uber Eats or Door Dash. Basically anything other than skip.

Ordering food.. skip credit is not a refund!

Driver delivers food to wrong address. Check our neighbours steps. Not there. Show proof that it was wrong house and yet it's our fault! Wtf skip. You're a scam! Second picture is my house. First one is where the driver went.

Can not trust the couriers. I have proof of them stealing receipts from customers when they order from a restaurant with a points program. Skip refuses to take responsibility. So if you want to order from a business that allows theft, enjoy skip... I suggest calling the restaurants directly to see if they have delivery, if not, pick it up. Skip is terrible.
Also, with all the dietary restrictions these days, skip SUCKS for finding restaurants that are vegan, gluten free... etc.

I have been buying from skipthedishes for years now, and consistently they employ drivers who constantly get lost, sometimes for over an hour when the restaurant is only a 5 min drive away, and on multiple occasions I've had drivers say they delivered food only for it to not be there. Some have even taken a picture with the food on my step and then left with it. Terrible drivers, terrible service. I'm done with trusting them.

Tip for consumers:
It seems SkipTheDishes does a good job of hiding any reviews, this is in my opinion, sneaky and underhanded.
