Many vendors provided stale food and when Skip was advised they did not care to address the issue or refund the money. There are limits to their refund, despite the driver or the restaurant being at fault. Why should the customer lose? Buyer beware.
I had a promo for $20 off one order. When I tried to place an order, the promo code would not show up. After placing the order, customer service said they'd only give me $20 CREDIT rather than $20 REFUND, and said I'd have to place another order to use said credit. Such a slimy, dishonest way to make people place TWO orders in order to get the $20 instead of just allowing them to use it on the first order, as the promo advertised. Deleting the app and never using this crap company again, too shady for my liking.
They dont value there customer. They dont read or listen to customers at all. Speaking to them is speaking to a robot or wall and honestly robot pr a wall is way netter than a dam agent. They have no care whats so ever to customers. Restaurant was awful food health issue it was garbage the food proof with pics packaging was horrible ot was an awful experience with all for that being said a full refund should b in order nope and top it off they end chat that's BS

So not only did I not get the right sauce (i order alferdo and i got marinara) on my Pasta. My boyfriend didn't get his fries, I also didn't get my garlic bread with cheese. And when I told them about it we paid $86.09 we only got $38.15 back... waste of time and worse app to order from. Do not use this app unless you want you money taken. If I could rate low I would but 1 star skip the dishes.
Your policy that if my full order doesn't show up you cant get a driver to retrieve the rest is absurd. Your driver missed an entire bag of food. We were told you would refund the missing items and i could re order. So the stuff that arrives gets cold while we wait and the perfectly fine food waiting to be picked up goes to waste on top of the restaurant losing $$ on a refund and tossed food. Not to mention food waste is already a big problem and you enact policies that contribute to it. Honestly we were already considering not using you guys anymore with communities having more options, community minded options. So with this absurd experience we will not be ordering through you again nor recommending you. A serious disappointment.
Delivery drivers obviously are taking more than one order, following them on the tracking map and watching them drive in the opposite direction f which ends up with me getting stone cold inedible food, or there's no drivers available which results in stone cold inedible food after waiting over an hour for a normally 10 minute delivery. Skip the dishes is poorly managed. The restaurants end up with poor reviews because the delivery service is awful. Something must change. The photo is of the tracking map which tells me the burger and fries that I ordered over 30 minutes ago is still over 30 minutes to wait. Absolutely ridiculous!

First order (over $100!) - said it was delivered (I was waiting at the front door) - never came. Had to go through hoops to get a refund instead of a credit. It took several email exchanges
On a subsequent order, it was delivered but no one knocked or rang the bell. When I opened the door to see if they just dumped it and left, there was my order, ripped apart by squirrels. DO NOT USE THEM!

Skip used to be my favourite food delivery service. I used to use it, even if I was picking up my own food, and it was ready when I arrived. They now charge a service fee, so there is no reason to preorder food, before I pick it up myself.
Skip's prices used to be cheaper than Door Dash; they use an insulated bag for the food that keeps it hot, and I get notified as they are about to arrive. They also gave me points when I ordered food. It didn't amount to a lot of money, but I liked being rewarded for being a loyal customer.
Skip now charges service fees, and they no longer offer points. Quite often, their drivers aren't using the insulated bags, and they are picking up more than one order, so by the time the food arrives, it's cold. With the increased prices and no rewards, I don't used Skip, unless I'm sick, and don't feel well enough to cook. I used to use it about once a week. Now I go pick up food myself. If all their customers have decreased their orders, like I have, it is going to kill their business.

They really need to give the option of zero stars. I just used this app for the last time. I saw the driver pass my driveway 2 times, and never came back with my food and marked it delivered. Asking me to rate the service and food. Then the customer service disconnected with me because I said "$#*!"
Now I got an email saying they will give me skip credit when I never agreed to that. I'm waiting for my refund to my card and will never use this BULL $#*! app ever again. Their driver and workers such and have no sense of customer service. I work a 12 hour shift and and wasted my whole lunch time waiting for the food
The drivers in Fort Mcmurray are $#*!s they don't no how to read where to drop it off to and food is always cold once I get it! My courier name was Jamal! Took a hour to get my order maybe skip should order people with a education and can actually drive, and actually care about there job
I ordered food from Skip the Dishes and when the food arrived it was cold. I sent in feedback/complaint to their "support" email and the answer i recieved was because my order arrived on time, they won't issue a refund. Their statement in their auto reply is "Our #1 objective is to ensure customers have an incredible experience" and "We are committed to making things right" is condescending. As long as your order is delivered on time they won't help, even when your food arrives cold. So much for their commitment.
Skip offered a 50% refund and thinks that's acceptable. My kids were unable to eat 100% of the order and I wasted my money. When I told them their offer was ridiculous they ended the chat with zero concern for my issue. They lost a customer

Skip the Dishes sucks. And it is not one or two problems—everything they do and their life philosophy sucks. The owners should be prohibited from running companies. The company is a manifestation of low brow mindset and procrastination. They pretend to be a high-tech startup, and instead, they are a toxic dump. After a few years of using the app, today I have deleted my account.

Delivery drivers don't follow instructions, will steal food, drop it off at completely incorrect locations. Customer service is a joke, you cant even call them it's all over text. Don't use this, when things get screwed up by their useless employees you'll only be met with more useless employees
Waste of time and energy. I ordered twice from subway tonight and BOTH times got it wrong. First order got cancelled after half an hour of waiting, then they told me they would give me skip credits, no I'd like a full refund back into my account since it didn't even get CONFIRMED. The customer service is complete garbage! Don't even try to contact them…. Then the second one my driver 'Gagon' was sitting in front of some house for 45 minutes while my food was sitting at subway getting cold. He came and just gave me the subs, no communication as to why that happened. It's not like Uber east where I can actually contact the driver. 3 hours later I finally got my sub. I would of went to bed considering I have work in the morning..

From Phils coming with no Syrup for the Pancakes, to Subway being over an hr late and showing up soggy & cold. As well as, the Ginger Beef from Kings having NO sauce at all on it. Every order through S.T.D. (btw, someone should have really checked THAT acronym) has been a disaster. Phils was their strike 3. Happens again & I am done with them. Like everyone else these days I work far too hard for my money to waste on poor food and service.
Ordered food, but the courier never arrived and they cancelled my order without a refund. Online customer "service" person completely unhelpful and took courier's word over mine. Bunch of crooks. Will never use them again.
Been loyal for couple years... No more. Checked out rating, while reviewing... and discovered others are Right! Lost a customer today! Better options for delivery. Stop supporting. Drivers are doing their best ( I believe). Customer support ( online) completely disappointed!

Please don't use skip the dishes. They drivers and the customer service team where you're able to chat with on the app are the most incompetent disrespectful individuals I've ever come across in my entire being. I rather starve than use skip the dishes because they have no regard for their clients needs and only care about taking your money. They're incapable of following very basic instructions that Uber eats goes above and beyond to follow. There's a reason everyone loves Uber eats because they provide world class service.
They have no problem taking your money but don't expect hot food, or prompt delivery or drivers that get all your order when they pick up from restaurant. My office gave them 6 months of daily lunch orders and received nothing but constant poor service. And today was last straw, with delivery driver refusing to deliver to the door, and skip customer service being completely rude when complaint lodged, never ordering again.
SkiptheDishes is the worst... unlike the other companies, as of now we still cannot edit our own menu ourselves (been with them 5+ years and have 20+ locations). Always have to e-mail in the request for edit, and then they can't even do it properly (many times they say its completed but there's 0 change!).
I think the hiring manager in Calgary must be from Eritrea because all the drivers are from there. No one follows instructions, speaks english or can figure out buzzer codes or simple instructions. I've been hit on so many times I've had to change my number. Skip doesn't do anything. You can't call in now too, so you have to do refund requests online and they $#*! that up also. This is by far the worst company I've ever dealt with in my life.
I went to go cancel my order before the restaurant had to confirm my order because it said I was waiting over an hour once I finally got connected with an agent they said it was already confirmed. Therefore they cannot cancel my order. It's not my fault or any consumers issue that they don't have enough staff to handle the chat volume anyone that uses the chat will notice that the key will be high, but will come down fast. However, that agent is handling multiple chat windows, therefore while you think you're timing he was short you end up spending a lot of time waiting for their response because they're handling multiple chats at one time
