Many vendors provided stale food and when Skip was advised they did not care to address the issue or refund the money. There are limits to their refund, despite the driver or the restaurant being at fault. Why should the customer lose? Buyer beware.
I had a promo for $20 off one order. When I tried to place an order, the promo code would not show up. After placing the order, customer service said they'd only give me $20 CREDIT rather than $20 REFUND, and said I'd have to place another order to use said credit. Such a slimy, dishonest way to make people place TWO orders in order to get the $20 instead of just allowing them to use it on the first order, as the promo advertised. Deleting the app and never using this crap company again, too shady for my liking.

Worst company ever! They didnt even deliver my food and refuse to refund me my money. There customer service is also a joke. Asked to speak to management and there too afraid to actually call me. There drivers never follow instructions. They should be shut down
I've had problems like this before and they refuse to help in anyway I've had missing items, cold items and wrong items and they won't help at all it's all bs I'm really tired of this definitely not happy
I order a Pizza from el Matador and the pizza never arrived. I called the restaurant and they blamed skip the dishes. They should have Sented me another pizza with their own driver and took care of business after with Skip the Dishes.
Restaurants don't take any responsibility at all and I think is not right. They should at least get the phone number of the driver to followup.
Plus Skip the Dishes told me will get a refund in my card after 10 business day's.
They damaged my son and I night plan completely.

My food was delivered to the wrong address. My milkshake was spilled and there was missing items. All they offered me was a refund on the spilled and missing items. I would have preferred that they delivered what I wanted, but just got the refund.
Skip is trash don't use them there employees are rude and have no manners they take your money and don't give it back I spent 45 dollars and no food! That's messed up. There app always crashes and they blame the people trying to order... they took 120 dollars from me don't trust this food app go to doordash and urber eats for food cause there check the bag before they leave store!
I logged into Skip this week to find the information in my account gone (including my accumulated points). I was unable to palce an order. I 'chatted' with 3 different customer service people. One blamed my internet service, one left the chat middle of our conversation and one said he'd 'look into it' and never returned to the chat. As a loyal customer who has used this service once a week for over a year to send meals to my 90 year old parents, I'm disgusted with the support I received. I'm DONE.
I placed an order valued at over $100. They claim the delivered the food but I never received the order and was left stranded with guest that I could not feed. The company is very difficult to contact and the person I was dealing with just told me that I would not get my money back! This is the worst service I have received in years and would DO NOT recommend their services.

Trying to feed my family, spending my hard earned money on something that may or may not be delivered. Zero accountability. Every other time I order something im missing half my order. Horrible service.
Tonight we went and decided to order for the first time from Cineplex. Ordered a large popcorn, 2 large drinks and Areo chocolates. Timing was excellent but that could be because they left out the popcorn. With 20 minutes left before cineplex closed and no way to get a hold of Skip, we had to get in our car, and go get our own popcorn. When I reported this to Skip via messaging the response I received back was "at this time we can not refund you." I don't need everything refunded but how about the service fee and delivery fee. I will be skipping the use of this service. Shame on you.

Order $97 worth of breakfast from Denny's using Skip the dishes and courier said food delivered when it wasn't delivered. Called customer service line 3 times and they refused to do anything about it. I have a door camera and a yard one too that clearly shows, items were not delivered and they still refused to do anything about it. They are thieves.
Twice I've been ripped of by this company. Once I was double charged for an order. Yesterday we paid for an order & because we didn't respond to a text the driver let the address & cancelled order. Customer service just gave a canned answer that they wouldn't offer refund or credit. Driver didn't call, knock on door, or even leave paid for order...
Ordered a large order from NoodleBox with Skip the Dishes delivery. The order arrived, missing 3/5 meals. When I phoned Noodlebox they gave an excuse that they were "so busy and forgot to give the driver the rest of my order." Then they stated that they would fulfill my order, if I come pick up. Defeating the whole purpose of ordering through Skip. When I said no, they told me to email skip for my refund. The order was placed on my friends account using my credit card and she fought with Skip for a week to get a refund, not a $70 credit (as I had paid for this). It has been 8 business days since they stated they would refund my credit card. I ordered this for November 21/22. It is now December 7/22. I still paid delivery fees and a tip for food not delivered and I'm still waiting for my refund. Horrible experience and terrible customer service from both Noodlebox and Skip the Dishes. Aggravated, I've deleted my account with Skip and will never use their services agai.
#1 Can't call them, have to use chat to tell the the order they say they delivered didn't make it to me.
#2 They tell me no refunds on alcohol.
#3 I tell them that their delivery driver didn't buzz the apartment or deliver to our door both which are in the delivery instructions. And alcohol means the have to check ID so how was it delivered to the wrong person?
# 4. They tell me since I have a good history the will make an exception and give me a refund.
#5 I ask them why an exception when their driver did not deliver to me. Where is his proof of delivery that every other driver seems to take. They tell me it's an exception because the require the alcohol to be returned to the store for refund. How! They gave it to the wrong person!
Why do they talk to me like they are doing me a favor when they screw up and give my order to someone else?

A skip the dishes employee came into stop was very busy we told him food would be a minute and he rolled his eyes at us. Skip the dishes ppl have no patience and very rude to employees. We where low on staff and doing our best. If they don't like waiting their in the job. They should learn to have manners. And they lean on the counter where customers get their food there is covid going around they have a table where they are supposed to stand at and we call them when a order is ready but no they stand in the way of other customers. Very very rude ppl.
Wouldn't recommend! My driver drove around for almost a hour after picking up my order and when it showed up it was ice cold and not worth eating or paying almost $50 for... ask for a refund they said I would get a full refund and that a confirmation email was sent to me... 2 days later no email. I msg skip and now they will only do 50% refund... absolutely criminal
Wrote specific directions 3 times now and still the driver's don't bother to try calling to figure out where to go. So they just end up leaving without a word. Contacted the chat service and they don't help out with situations. I will no longer be giving them any of my services and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone either! Honestly the worst online delivery services. I will be taking my services to door dash instead. Skip the dishes completely SUCK. I wouldn't give them any star rating but I need to in order to warn whoever reads this.
Placed an order with SkipTheDishes for the first time, the driver contacted me to tell me he was at the restaurant but they didn't have my food they had given it to somebody else and said he would wait and get it for me. Never heard back from him contacted the restaurant and they said somebody else from SkipTheDishes picked up my food and that the person who had come in to pick up my food was gone.
Trying to contact SkipTheDishes is ridiculous especially when you are visually impaired they are not accessible.
Will never use them again totally ruined my evening.
The service is just getting worse and worse. The customer service lies to you over and over, driver's confirm they delivered the order and it hasn't even left the location as yet. Things are cold when the location isn't that far but takes the driver over 20 min to drive 4. They offer you 50% back when you pay 100% plus service fees plus tip... service fees for what? Horrible service! Drivers having car issues after picking up food.
I registered myself with skipthedishes and pay for thermal bag and background check, everything completed but they did not activating my account, It been 1.5month that I am sending request to them to activate my account but they just giving me excuses that my application is not completed, they waste my time and money, So please don't try to register with them because they don't need employee but they took money from you. Kindly save your money and time, they just taking money on behalf of registering with them so don't waste your money. I am attaching screenshot of completed application below and I sent tons of email to activate my account but nothing work, they just ignore you.

Honestly so disappointed with the customer service. I had difficulty with an order that was meant to be have an 25 minute ETA take over 1 hour and 35 minutes ( driver travelled in the wrong direction for quite a while and support had to call them back), box and bag soaking wet from condensation not even holding shape anymore. On top of that when contacting support Nav( "helping" me at 11:38PM MDT) ended our conversation before a resolution and just credited 50% of my order.
Truly disappointing experience. Im an operator of a corporate restaurant that works with skip. Its sad to know that this is kind of service people who use skip the dishes gets when facing order issues that are not caused by the restaurant.
