Many vendors provided stale food and when Skip was advised they did not care to address the issue or refund the money. There are limits to their refund, despite the driver or the restaurant being at fault. Why should the customer lose? Buyer beware.
I had a promo for $20 off one order. When I tried to place an order, the promo code would not show up. After placing the order, customer service said they'd only give me $20 CREDIT rather than $20 REFUND, and said I'd have to place another order to use said credit. Such a slimy, dishonest way to make people place TWO orders in order to get the $20 instead of just allowing them to use it on the first order, as the promo advertised. Deleting the app and never using this crap company again, too shady for my liking.
We ordered a meal yesterday and the wrong order arrived. I reached our to Skip the Dishes and they sent me a spiel about their unavcountability. Why use this app if they hold themselves accountable for their own drivers errors? Thankfully the resteraunt made the error right. Will never use again

Ordered some KFC today by the time we received it was cold. Why arn't they using the insulated bags to keep the food warm as we are paying so much money and the food has to be microvaved before eating it.
Does Skip driver's not care anymore? Getting a hot meal is like asking you guys to go to the moon a nd come back. Our neighbors have the same complaint.
People are going through enough stress and can't even count on Skip to bring a hot and edible order.
It is a shame that i even have to type this on your site, Now that we know that Skip does not care about there customers and only cares about the money. It is really a shame.
I recently ordered a meal from skip the dishes, not only did I not receive my meal, I could not reach anyone to give me a refund. I tried using their chat service but no response. I can not find a number to call. Terrible company
Won't refund. Didn't make it clear that they also do pick up, why do they even do pick up, poorly organized and functioning app, didn't offer any compensation for the order not being delivered and the customer service was very apathetic. Notorious for misusing employees, I knew many people who drove for Skip but hated it and couldn't even afford the gas for it due to the company not the customers. Just a poorly run buisness and sadly the only option in most cases in my small city.

After ordering from skip the dishes, the delivery was left on the front step as specified by I got no email, doorbell, door knock or text to tell me the food was delivered. Out of frustration I look on the step and found my now very cold food witch had to thrown out. Thanks Skip!. From now on I will only order from food outlets that have there own drivers or delivery service. The food providers should be aware that it's their reputation that is being destroyed not Skips. I know the drivers are just trying to make a living in trying times like these and Skip with the higher fees to the food providers are a business we don't need. Just because it's shinny and new doesn't make it better. Like all larger corporations, The shareholder is king and the food providers, drivers and end customer are the fodder to satisfy the shareholder return.
I had my food take over 40 min and the driver sat for 15 min in one location with my food.
The food was cold and I was uncertain of ita safety and threw it out.

My debit card worked once and then an hour later they wouldnt accept it. That meant I couldn't order. Very annoying! They blamed it on my bank. They have delivered to the wrong address several times. Overall they are okay.
Said delivery time was 18 minutes for 1 hour and a half. We called the business and they said the pizza had been sitting there for an hour. They said another driver would pick it up and they would make another pizza. After waiting another half an hour we went and picked it up ourselves. This was my first…. And now last…. Time using this "service".
Ordered from them tonight and waited, noticed we forgot to put the unit number so contacted them and had it added. Said it was delivered but wasn't, when I contacted them apparently the driver said he took it to the right place and that was good enough for them and they refused to refund cause apparently somebody merely saying they did something is good enough. Not receiving the order was becoming more common will not use again

This app will allow you to order food for PICKUP while also allowing you to leave a note saying that you need the food delivered to the back door.
Customer service wouldn't help me at all. They just kept saying I set it as a pickup order. How did I do that to? Ask their stupid app.
Just go with a different service and save yourself the frustration

I honestly am completely dumbfounded about most of them and i am done using your app. As well i am going to tell all my friends and family to use a different delivery app.
Drive picked up food for customer from our restaurant and driver eat the food. That's not our fault that's skip driver and skip fault. Skip refunded money to customer but they put down our restaurant score down day by day and they don't care customer give us thumbs up and good review on skip but my restaurant score goes down every day.
That's means skip is the fraud company.
Not recommendation any restaurant for skip service. Go with uber eat and door dash there charges less and always fair decision.
Skip the Dishes always disappoints. I don't recommend them as a food service delivery site. With the extra charges they have begun to add on to their delivery, they're on par with Door Dash and Uber Eats with Door Dash and Uber Eats providing more reliable and fast service than that of Skip the Dishes.
As you can see in the attached photos include, the food was ordered at 11:18 AM, the first photo shows one driver 24 minutes away from delivery. Then I had to contact them because the driver was suddenly in a different part of the city, then a different driver ended up picking it up and delivering it to our office only after I followed up with customer service. From 11:18 AM, the ASAP delivery option was chosen, to finally receiving it at 12:45 PM. 0/10.

Will never use them again. One order took over an hour. When I called the restaurant, they told me order had been ready waiting for 30 min. Second order took over 45 min just to pick up. I've unstalled this app ans will never use again. Horrible service.
We have had great experience. We had ordered on Skip the dishes and ordered the falafel salad with only cucumber by mistake. I received a call from the store to verify the order and explain what my choices were and corrected it accordingly. The quality of the food has been great every time.
I applied a coupon to my order. Which by the way supposed to be applied automatically on the order.
When ordering it shows me that it's applied... when paying it charges me the full amount.
I contacted the customer service asking what was the problem. They simply told me to contact them if that happened again and they understand my frustration.
All I wanted to know is what happened so I can pay attention next time.
But I didn't get any answer.

They allow changing/switching drivers while delivery. It is so hassle because you have to wait for the food until they made the switch and even if you are so hungry already they will still continue the switch. It is so bad that that they charge you so much and yet so bad in delivering /service. I dont even know why I still order from skip the dishes. I will go and switch to Uber Eats. They are much better and better drivers.
They say free delivery. What they don't say is what you purchase, is sometimes as much as 40% higher then the food price from the restaurant. Same as booze. 4.99 delivery. What they dont tell you, is alcohol handling fee, Percentage of the booze. By the time your done, its more then a normal delivery. Like I said, nothing more then a rip off. If I want food, I will call the restaurant. If I want booze, Dial A Bottle. Thats it. Wake up people. Know what your paying
We ordered from Skip the Dishes; our food was late getting to us, and it was stone cold by the time we got it.
We decides that we would try Skip the Dishes again, and this time they totally lost our pre-paid food order. Never did see it. Bon appetit, to whoever got our dinner!

I ordered food paid for it and it was never delivered. I contacted them and asked for a supervisor and got no reply. They took my money and gave me nothing. I am diabetic and need to eat and got no help. Garbage service. Thieves. I will never use them again. And I tipped the driver lmao
Skips hiring practices are a crock of crap.
Applied had to pay for security clearance and buy bags all before your hired. Needless to say didnt get hired and they won't refund my money for the bags. Thieves that's what they are

The 6th time we got nothing they said we asked for too many refunds so we are keeping your money and you get nothing.

2) Always tip at the door. We have lost $30 in tips so far to people that are probably eating our food and NOT bringing it to us.

It's very annoying to wait for dinner, now it's really late, now they said they delivered it but it's not there.
So no food, none coming and now you have to fight for a refund to NOT be in "Skip" money.
This time they said too many refunds so you get nothing.
So... Skipthedishes screwed me so many times they figure they don't need to pay for their mistakes anymore and denied me a refund. Never again, and don't let friends use them either.
I ordered a meal and it had plastic pieces in it. They only refunded me $2.50 when my meal was 22.00 after taxes. Absolute bullsh! T if I was at the restaurant my meal would have been free. I'm incredibly disappointed and now have to contact the restaurant itself. Ridiculous.
