Many vendors provided stale food and when Skip was advised they did not care to address the issue or refund the money. There are limits to their refund, despite the driver or the restaurant being at fault. Why should the customer lose? Buyer beware.
I had a promo for $20 off one order. When I tried to place an order, the promo code would not show up. After placing the order, customer service said they'd only give me $20 CREDIT rather than $20 REFUND, and said I'd have to place another order to use said credit. Such a slimy, dishonest way to make people place TWO orders in order to get the $20 instead of just allowing them to use it on the first order, as the promo advertised. Deleting the app and never using this crap company again, too shady for my liking.
The customer service agent was $#*!ing $#*!ed, and their attitude was $#*!ing stupid. They were so $#*!ing stupid indiens, they did not understand what I was saying.
Food orders dropped off by the delivery person at the hotel's employee entrance. Food left outside.when the driver had the guest's room number and was too lazy to enter the main hotel entrance. The security camera showed a homeless person picking up the food and walking away. What is wrong with people? Is this normal practice?! I don't think so!

Completely, I have complained to the customer service but instead refunding me they started saying we Cannot do anything.
I asked them kindly take your food back but they were just arguing airing that 2:30 hours of chat and and was not able to give me any resolution but later at end they agreed to pay me back my 50% amount which is not right because I paid complete amount for the fresh and healthy food not to make my kids fall sick.
In Conclusion I have lost my $20 and have a stale food on my table.
But this is really sad how they are scamming people.
Tomorrow I'm gonna go to the Authorities and I will be sending them legal notice with sample of that food.
After paying in full, there was no delivery from Skip The Dishes. Their Customer Service never answered the phone to address my concerns.
Then, after over a week, now they are ONLY offering me 50% refund on my next purchase.
I am still pursuing a full refund for the meal that never delivered.
This is totally unacceptable!
I have had multiple issues with Skip that i dont have with Uber eats or Door dash. Everytime i have put in a complaint with Skip, they say they will get back to me within 24hrs and i have yet to receive any correspondence from them. I have had items completely missing from my orders and was charged yet never reimbursed. Horrible customer service.

Order was supposed to take 15-20 min, driver kept taking on new orders, driving all over town AFTER picking up my order, took over an hour and my food was cold, contacted support and the left the chat before any help was given. Finally got a refund after another 30 min waiting for support staff to get back to me. Horrible service from both the drivers and support staff. Would never use their service again
Ordered from a restaurant that's approximately a 10 minute drive from my house. Driver picked it up and from the map you could clearly see he was driving to other locations prior to my delivery. Took appoximately 50 minutes to deliver after pickup. Food was ice cold. $80 after tip and taxes and they refunded us an $11 "Skip credit" This is the second time they have picked up my order then preceeded to do multiple orders prior to dropping mine off. Terrible service. Never again.
They sent me something that I am allergic to and they refuse to refund me, saying that because I have gotten refunded in the past that they won't send my money back! This is ridiculous! Any advice?

Once contacted about a coffee order that had been sitting for 90 minutes. Customer service informs me it's still going to be another HOUR! Restaurant is only 15 minutes away. When trying to find out the reasoning, I was berated and lied too and then the representative ended the chat.
Another time a driver had his car die on the side of the road for an hour with my food. Out of a $50 order, I was only refunded $22.20.
Don't expect anything out of this customer service!

I have used skip the dishes 6 or 7 times now, and each time I have had a horrible experience. There has only been once that their support team has been of any assistance. They do not care if your order is complete or when it gets to you, what ever you do, don't click no tip, even if you can't afford it, or you will end up waiting hours for your food, and I've been over charged every time.
I cancelled skip the dishes, they care about there money, not customer care.
My food came cold, heating it up changed the taste and texture of my food.
Skip the dishes refused to refund me, even tho they know the food came cold.
They said the food came on time, and sometimes temperatures change, maybe skip the dishes could invest In proper bags that keep food warm. Disgusted with them, lost me as a customer for good, they don't even deserve 1 star.
Where to begin... Almost always when I order through skip the dishes, the driver never follows the directions as I have specifically state in the memos as to where to leave the food, and half the time if not all the time, they leave the food in the lobby of my building where by the time I get down to get it, it's gone as someone steals it. When you try and contact support which is useless to begin with, they are no help either.
I was given a gift card for 200.00. The numbers were not readable when I tried to enter them so I scrubbed a little harder and that made it worse. In November I reached out via the chat and provided the pictures of the card that do show a card number I am sure they can track. I have since reached out 6 times and every time I am told to wait to hear from their team and this should take 24 or 48 hours. It has been two months and still nothing. I have offered to bring the card in somewhere to have it scanned but they have never responded to the question is there somewhere I can bring the card in? Had I known they would not be doing anything I would have asked the person who bought me the card to reject the payment on their CC.
I am a returning courier, and they keep giving me random reasons to put unnecessary delays. First they say my driver's license needs to be uploaded, then they say my proof of work eligibility has expired, when both of these documents are up to date and approved in the courier portal ALREADY.
This was my second time ordering, and I thought I would splurge a little on some sushi and the restaurant was upfront and said it would take roughly 2 hours. Well after a few postpones of about 10-15minutes, it finally said that the order had arrived, no doorbell ring or nothing and no food. No food and no picture at all. The only mildly redeeming thing is the fact that they gave a refund. Yet said it may take 10 days

Driver took off with my food and didn't even attach an image of his delivery and the customer support is blindly trusting the driver when there is not even an image of his drop off. And they want to take my 40 dollars and the driver has the food. This app sucks stay away and better use door dash. Everyone is a thief on this platform.

Used this service for like 6 months. Not bad at first but eventually it went to S@#t. Out of the last 15 times I used it my food NEVER SHOWED UP like 5 times. App says it was delivered but it wasn't. First I thought it was the drivers but didn't one of the drivers showed up with my food about 20 minutes after the app said it was delivered and told me that Skip marked it delivered when he said he was having a hard time finding the address because the skip app was sending him the wrong way! So basically if the driver has any difficulty, "Skip Central" just cancels it and sends him to the next order cuz they got your money anyway! Then they give you skip credits which you have to use with them so you can start the frustration all over again? Nah how to stick pins in my eyes for free! Use Uber Eats. So far no phantom deliveries.

Paid for the food item never received it or got refund. We spent over 2 hours to chat with 2 people and talked on the phone for about 45 minutes but no resolution.
Do not use it, the management is running it as a third world country and do not believe what customer is saying.

Horrible, HORRIBLE service. We places an order which indicated a 39- 50 min wait. Long story short we've been waiting 2.5 hors. Finally called the restaurant itself. They told us that skip the dishes is not sending them drivers. No one at customer support will answer me. I've included my Chat, you can see they just disconnected our chat.
They have no voice support, so you're stuck using their app, the wait times are a joke. They don't understand half of the time.
Couriers frequently spill or fail to properly deliver an order. Will never use them again.
Ordered medication and a snack for my daughter as I'm sick in a global pandemic. Order says delivered. Go to door step. No one there. No snack. No meds. Contact the help line. All they can say is sorry that happened. Here's your money back that you paid us. But wait 5 days before you get it back. Thanks. Have a nice day.

I hate skip after this experience, and the way they handled it was so disgusting of them. I made an order, the careless courier dropped it off somewhere outside without calling or notifying me, someone stole it. They refused the refund because their couriers are "independent" which is short for, "once you pay & the money is secured in our pocket we don't care if you received it or not" "we don't care how it's handled either" that's what their actions say when they claim to have no responsibility over the people they trust our items with. What an embarrassment. So this is for anyone who thinks they're worth checking out, don't! Go for uber eats or others.
