Many vendors provided stale food and when Skip was advised they did not care to address the issue or refund the money. There are limits to their refund, despite the driver or the restaurant being at fault. Why should the customer lose? Buyer beware.

I had a promo for $20 off one order. When I tried to place an order, the promo code would not show up. After placing the order, customer service said they'd only give me $20 CREDIT rather than $20 REFUND, and said I'd have to place another order to use said credit. Such a slimy, dishonest way to make people place TWO orders in order to get the $20 instead of just allowing them to use it on the first order, as the promo advertised. Deleting the app and never using this crap company again, too shady for my liking.

Customer service is rude and dismissive. When there is a clear mistake they got incredibly mad and rude. They asked if I wanted a refund in credits or back on my card after I said I wanted it on my card they got mad for whatever stupid reason.

So if you request too many refunds due to skip not giving you what you order and pay for they stop refunding you whether back on cc or skip credits even when they continue to not give you what you order. They say you've received too many refunds, this is considered stealing in my opinion. So I'm never ordering from them again and you shouldn't either

I had ordered from an a&w literally 5 minutes away from my house. The courier got there and sat in the parking lot with my food for over half an hour. After it was delivered it was blatantly obvious he had eaten most of the fries and drank most of my drink and then refilled it with water. After waiting in a queque of 46 people to talk to customer service the representative entered the chat and then immediately left, as he was probably doing to all the people waiting before me since it was moving suspiciously fast. This is about the 15th time a courier on this app alone, has tampered with my food or just not delivered it at all. Customer service can be kind but is overall useless. DO NOT waste your money with this one. Uber eats it.

To be a skip driver you need to be rejected from every other driving job due to a low IQ or have no idea how to navigate due to no local language skills.
My last 5 orders had the driver LOST and my food cold.
Skip the Dishes is a scam that demonstrates ZERO concern over the SH*T service, as long as they get paid.
Now Visa/MC debit is gone. Genius move guys.

My driver delivered to the wrong house. I saw him go to my neighbours so I called to him. He then came to me and said my address is incorrect. I told him on my phone it is correct. He just argued with me saying I need to change it when he is not reading it correctly. Didn't pay for food to be argued with. Bad customer service

The worst customer service that I've ever seen. The customer is not valuable for this company. For avoiding to refund just 28 dollars the customer service started to discuss and continue that for an hour.

There is always an issue with skip…the last driver took off with our food & we never got our order, the one before that left us the wrong order (someone else's food)…the one before that delivered our food to the wrong townhouse. I'm done with them. Deleted the app.

I ordered from skip the dishes and they never delivered my food and stole my money! When I called customer service they would hang up on me. I wrote them an email explaining my situation and they didnt care at all and decided to block my account. They stole $80 from me and never got my food. Please do not order from them! They are THIEVES!

I ordered from skip thinking the order was going to take 30 to 45mins and when my order was placed and confirmed it started showing 220mins to be delivered which is absurd. NEVER going to use skip again. I even placed a 20% tip. Ended up getting the order refunded to my card and talked to support which wanted me to wait and they would offer me credits, which would've probably only been a $5 credit.

So my company sent me a gift card to my company email which blocked a link on their email due to security reasons, and its essentially impossible to get my gift card even after reaching out to customer service. Garbage experience, Garbage company.

I ordered #65 worth of Chinese. Somehow it went to a different address and I've been ordering to my address since may. I was issued $22 refund from 65... I said the chat person that's all I get? She said that's all we can refund. Have a great day...Luke really? Been ordering skip for years, and that's all I get back? Hahaha worst customer service ever!

The worst part of skip is the people can steal your food. They will throw the food and says they delivered the food. No contact details of the driver and if the delivery guy says its delivered meaning it is delivered. I figured door dash is better as they pack and seal the food from the hotel. The service of skip the dishes can be awful. Never recommend skip the dishes

This is the second time I've received an order confirmation only to find out the order never went through. I had to call the restaurant to know whether or not they had received an order because I couldn't reach Skip, then had to call my credit card company to know whether or not the payment was processed so I could reverse the charge... And worst of all, I have two hungry kids I'm going to have to scramble to feed after an hour of trying to sort through this mess. Complete BS and nightmare service.

Tip for consumers:
Stay away. They’ll charge you for nothing and completely waste your time.

Do not order from this company they abuse there drivers. They don't care, they make schedule a lot of drivers in same city, waiting between the orders. And when drivers arrived waiting for there food the extra time the company charge the the restaurant for waiting time but they never pay the drivers for the waiting time. The Skip The Dishes company steal the money from the drivers for there waiting time.

Placed an order on skip the dish from McDonald's. Received the order and it was completely wrong. The bag of food that we received was not sealed or did not have a receipt on it. This is not mcdonald's fault this if the fault of skip the dish, do not trust them because of the company and their drivers. Driver dropped off a bag as if he went and ordered it for himself like i said unsealed. Contacted them to see what could be done about this and they wouldn't not even re order us what we ordered in the beginning or give us a refund for the full amount that we paid. Don't trust this company.

Their driver ate food from my delivery and their response was to blame the restaurant. They refunded the price of the fries that their driver ate and then proceeded to say they hoped that I was happy with their service. I will never use SKIP again. I warned the restaurant that I ordered from about SKIP trying to blame them for the delivery driver's actions. Do not use SKIP's services.

Absolute garbage! Scammers! I placed an order then decided to go do laundry. My phone was in the other room. When I decided to check my phone to see what was taking so long I see 2 missed calls. When I tried to call back it said something about my time contacting the driver is up AND my order is cancelled. Why? There was no knock on my door NO attempt was made to deliver my food. So I was on the chat support system and they said because I didn't pick up my phone I can't get a refund? THAT IS STEALING!

Yesterday my credit card was charged. I noticed this charge today. I called the number, which by the way is an automated message that hangs up after directing you to their website chat.

So I did just that. I reached out via chat to ask for the charges to be reversed. I sent screenshots of the charges, my email that the account was under and everything else that they asked for.

In the end, did I get my money returned - NO. Did I get a phone call? No. I am still out the money, I was told to take it up with my credit card company and that there is nothing that SkiptheDish can do...

How is a company allowed to continue to operate like this? How are they not held accountable for the customer credit and personal details that they collect? What makes it okay to tell a customer that they can do nothing after they are out nearly $200?

After gifting a GC to a friend for Skip the Dishes... My pal went to use it and there was a glitch with their system. Since he was gifted this, he had to call me to ask for info that they requested and even then, he wasn't able to use the GC. I contacted them the next day and they did nothing to redeem themselves. All they said was that in order to use the GC he had to login to his account. Truth is, that he had and it was in fact their error.
I contacted them two more times since, asking them to refund the GC and that if they would send my friend a GC for the trouble. NO ONE even responded.
Ugh.
A company that can't even own up to its own mistakes.

Ordered a meal from East side marios for 40 $ was brought a 10$ appetizer, was told because I've gotten refunds before that they wont be giving me a refund. It isnt my fault your drivers and services are crappy. So I'm about 30$ out with a 10 $ $#*!ty appetizer. Terrible app, might as well stick with uber eats or door dash instead of this sad excuse of a company

This review is actually 0 stars, do not ever use this company, they are thieves. I placed an order that I never received, and they refused to refund me anything. They first told me that the courier said he came to our house and couldn't get a hold of us, then they told me that the courier said the food was delivered. I was by my front door the whole time and the courier never arrived. I even told them to have the courier come back to my house to confront me and they refused to do anything. This company is completely dishonest, corrupt and unethical, do not ever use, I won't ever again.

If you look at your receipt. You will see skip the dishes adds money to each item on the list then charges you for delivery. My coffe is $2. Skip the dishes charges $2.11. Ice cap from tims for a large is $4. Skip charges $4.17. This company is a complete scam and a rip off.

I tried to calmly fix my order that I was willing to be patient about but not only did they mess up more than half my order they took three hours of my online time since you can't call them and three of the customer service reps "left" the online conversation so I had to start again! Honestly so much easier to go pick up your food! Their fees have increased dramatically so you're basically paying $20 an order BE CAREFUL!

The courier put the food at the wrong door, instead of contacting me to find it the correct unit, they just chose a random spot. (Apparently I need to tell them to contact me to be contacted).
When I contacted customer support that my order was nowhere to be found, they mentioned a green hallway, and I told them all 20 or so units have the same hallway, if have to leave my house to go search, I'd have to leave my 16 month old daughter.
In the end, I had a family member search every unit in the coop, and could not find it, so either it wasn't put down or it was taken.
On return, for a 50 dollar meal, they gave me a 20 dollar refund in skip credits. I said what am I supposed to do with thay, because I have no food, and now would have to pay an extra 25 to get the meal again.
They kept it short and said, sorry can't give you anymore than that, then ended the conversation and that was that.
No food and no money.

Tip for consumers:
Just don't use skip?
If I had this issue with uber eats, I'd have gotten money refund. And could then reorder my food, unlike now, I can't reorder and end up spending 75 on a 50 dollar order.
