Many vendors provided stale food and when Skip was advised they did not care to address the issue or refund the money. There are limits to their refund, despite the driver or the restaurant being at fault. Why should the customer lose? Buyer beware.
I had a promo for $20 off one order. When I tried to place an order, the promo code would not show up. After placing the order, customer service said they'd only give me $20 CREDIT rather than $20 REFUND, and said I'd have to place another order to use said credit. Such a slimy, dishonest way to make people place TWO orders in order to get the $20 instead of just allowing them to use it on the first order, as the promo advertised. Deleting the app and never using this crap company again, too shady for my liking.
Ordered Popeyes chicken. Took a hour to get to our house everything was ice cold and gross. No excuse. We have ordered before no problems. This time even the containers had condensation inside the containers. Nasty made everything wet and soggy. Never ever will I use them again. Terrible service
I ended up picking up my own food as the driver tried to tell me I had given him the wrong address (which has had many other orders delivered to by Skip) and then told me to cancel the order so I couldn't do a review on him. When I tried to get someone on the Chat line to help, they "left the chat" without resolving anything (3 times).
I won't be ordering Skip anymore - pick up or do another courier. Skip drivers just don't care and neither does Skip.
The food from the restaurant was terrific though.
Delivery didn't bother to ring the door bell. 2 minutes in snow and -20 C. Reheated food.

Horrible service. They delivered food cold and soggy more than once. The driver takes 1 hour for a 10 minute drive from the moment food is picked up. The driver picks up many orders from different restaurants in the city before delivering. By the time he delivers the 1st picked up, food is disgusting. My husband asked why our food was so cold and he simply drove off. Customer service offered and cold quick apology in a chat box then disconnected. We will definitely try another one next time. This app is getting deleted. I would give zero stars if I could. Don't get fooled and don't even try this courier.
My food order was over 2 hours late and was cold. This has happened several times. This last time, the online support agreed to discount the food by 50% but instead issued $6.00 in Skip Credits.

They hire morons. So many times my orders either dont come, or there are missing items or wrong items, my husband has the same issues, so do some of our friends, none of us will ever use skip ever again. Customer service is beyond stupid too.

This is the last time I use them. Once again, took my money, never got the food. Can't speak to a live person, and they don't answer their chat line. Swiss chalet says they never even received the order. Not the first time this has happened. Something should be done about this company.
Worst experience of my life. Yesterday I waited 2 hours for my order to be cancelled. Today I wanted an hour and a half for them to change the time to 84 MINUTES! Will never use skip again this is bull$#*!! I'm pissed off! I recommend NEVER using skip!

I am so tired of placing orders and not getting what I ordered.
Customer service wo t do anything about it cause they say I complain to much. Well when I pay for items and don't get them I am expected to be able to complain and get refunded! Today I ordered tkm hortons gor my drinks but no donuts. Last 3 orders I didn't recieve what was ordered either. This has to be stopped and this company has to be held responsible.
My money is being taken and items not recieved. I feel violated and robbed. I work hard for my money and for this company to be allowed to take my money from me for items I ordered and don't recieve is illegal. It's stealing! How dare skip the dish. I want my money back.
The workers of skip the dishes give zero craps about the customers. I ordered something and payed lots of money for it, didn't get what I ordered. Instead was given something I don't like at all and then had to waste it. It's sad, I contacted customer support about the issue and they said they would not be giving me a refund for the item I didn't get. This is not the first time they were absolutely no help to a paying customer. Do better or close down the app. I would have preferred getting it myself. It would have been cheaper without all the extra fees that skip the dishes adds, also would have been correct because I would have checked. I just wanted something convenient that day but now I know to completely delete this app. I will try door dash.

Having previous experience of receiving food without cutlery, I contacted the Skip the dishes support team while waiting for my food asking them to make sure I get the cutlery this time around;
The support associate asked me what the cutlery was and whether it was a "food item ";
When I explained what it was, the associate waived me off saying that me order has already been picked up and disconnected the chat!
As a result, I spent $40.00 and received my food and no cutlery to eat it with two times in a row!
I wonder, how someone can work for the food delivering company not knowing what the cutlery is!
Worst customer service ever
We ordered twice the same night and the orders never arrived. No phone calls - nothing. The second driver insisted we didn't live where we said. He cut off the text message. We never did get our food. Feels like a scam. It really ruined what was supposed to be a special occasion
I've ordered multiple times from SKip the Dishes. Today was the last straw, I ordered Edo's Japan. I asked for extra napkins and tipped $10 on a $45 order To Insure Perfection (TIP). Part of the order was missing. The driver just blamed the restaurant even though the itemized receipt was stapled and it was clear items were missing. The driver promptly ran away. I don't like getting scammed out of my money and tips no one deserved.
Please don't use this app will never trust this app again. I ordered food but It didn't delivered and then when I chat with the support they said they can't give me refund or credit because I received it before but the truth is it's for very first time I ordered and same thing my friend experienced as well. Like you paid for it they have no respect for your money. Please don't order from here. Unprofessional behaviour of support as well
Have contacted skip the dishes several times about a credit from April that was promised to me, when there were items missing from my order. This is my first and last time using the app Despite a guarantee that I would receive a credit, 2 months later, it has yet to be issued. Online Customer support is difficult to deal with and "disappears" when you are trying to resolve an issue. I have sent several emails to customer service and they have ignored me each time.
Most of the time their drivers don't deliver food. When you call for help why food is not delivered associates ready to give a refund but they don't care why this happen again and again. I had more than a 6-time bad experience with them. But they never investigate just take your refund and done.

I've been a loyal customer for over 7 months now and their delivery service is always a gamble. The delivery instructions are rarely followed and the delivery people are often rude. In terms of their support, they do answer you quickly but then go silent for 10-15 minutes at times without any updates. I work in support, I know the expectations and this just isn't it.
Place will steal your capital and mess your party plans, messed with my wedding and my only revival is to destroy a partial part of their business, they stole 70 dollars of my capital and they will yours as well, never give this app or the people that run this corp line Yolanda get a link for a class action suit soon thanks!
So many times I have not received my deliveries! And then I had to wait for food to come again! This time I have guests coming and it did not show up even though stating it was delivered! Had to re-order! Next time I will just call the actual restaurant and have delivery made from them! Skip the dishes!… be careful who you hire! If they don't know the area or locations they should not be delivering!
This app is absolute dog $#*!, dont even bother. Anytime I try to order, it's always one or one and a half hour late. Every. Single. Time. I. $#*!ing. Ordered. Dont bother please you are wasting your time and precious money on something that does not even work.
We ordered drinks from a place down town, waited for our drinks, no show the guys even called to get the address, never showed up, support would not help us needless to say I'm pissed of this company is a $#*!ing joke, show your business up your $#*!
I placed an order that was meant to be delivered in approximately 30 minutes. I was assigned a driver who sat in the same location for 25 minutes on their way to pick it up. Asked customer service to just cancel and refund and they said they could cancel but no refund. It took another 15 minutes to get that driver removed from my delivery, but now I don't have a driver at all. I ordered over an hour ago and now am also not getting any response from customer service at all. I will not be using this service again.
They never deliver, and then their app shows delivered. On top of it, if you contact them, they give a 50% refund excluding delivery charges, tips, tax etc. They are merely extorting money from consumers. They don't have a responsible delivery team and have zero responsibility and transparency in the process.
