Many vendors provided stale food and when Skip was advised they did not care to address the issue or refund the money. There are limits to their refund, despite the driver or the restaurant being at fault. Why should the customer lose? Buyer beware.
I had a promo for $20 off one order. When I tried to place an order, the promo code would not show up. After placing the order, customer service said they'd only give me $20 CREDIT rather than $20 REFUND, and said I'd have to place another order to use said credit. Such a slimy, dishonest way to make people place TWO orders in order to get the $20 instead of just allowing them to use it on the first order, as the promo advertised. Deleting the app and never using this crap company again, too shady for my liking.
If you're from London, Ontario and you're here to write a scathing review about Skip because you didn't get the VERY large order you placed with Mary Brown's Chicken, guess what? They delivered it to me! So I had the pleasure of spending the next 48 minutes chatting with their "customer service" which ended with my being given a PARTIAL refund - this was only upgraded to a full refund after I basically ripped the poor guy a new one. I also had to dump what must be at least $300 worth of food into the trash. What a sickening waste! This is certainly the first time I've had issues with Skip. In fact, I switched to DoorDash a few months ago and only ordered from Skip tonight because this restaurant doesn't use DoorDash and I had a craving. Bad move on my part.
Hmmm, I was going to shorten SkipTheDishes to its initials and then realized that would be STD. Kind of appropriate, since they are both unpleasant experiences.
My order came 2 hours late and skip did not even inform me. I had to message them myself before they told me my order was delayed. They refunded me 73 cents... didn't even offer a full refund. Garbage.
I ordered $60 worth of food with very easy instructions saying to meet at the entrance to my building. Normally I watch for a vehicle to pull up then I meet them in the parking lot so as to not inconvenience them. This time however no vehicle showed up. The tracker said my food was delivered. I'm wondering if the driver delivered it to their own mouth because nobody showed up. I will not be using skip the dishes again. I couldn't imagine being that terrible at my job.

Did anyone have trouble with drivers stealing their wine and food and arguing it was delivered when I contacted them they wouldn't return my money I spent 120 on food plus tip and they will not help and hung up on me
I ordered from a restaraunt, 1 km from my house. Tracking the driver, I saw that he drove 10 blocks in the opposite direction of my house. It takes literally, about 3 minutes to drive from the restaraunt to my house, the only reason I ordered from there instead of picking it up is my wife is really sick. Finally, 25 minutes later, the guy shows up, I ask him why he went so far out of the way, he said he needed gas for his car. There is literally 2 gas stations in the same parking lot to where he was, so I pretty much told him to go f**k himself. Food was ice cold. When I complained, after arguing with them for 30 minutes, they refunded me $9 of my $30 order. Will NEVER use this piece of garbage company ever again.
I have nothing but trouble with this company, I've had food stolen by the drivers, orders have been destroyed by reckless handling, drivers refuse to leave orders at my door but instead expect me to come outside and grab it. Terrible drivers.
I am writing this to say the customer service from the restaraunt and courier is terrible. On such a nasty day the courier just leaves my bag of food sitting out for the wind to take it. I think I'll use door dash instead.
They have no quality control. They forget things in your order all the time and only offer skip credit refunds. They told me i cant order from my account any more because ive complained to much when they cant seem to get a single one of my orders right. They also took a payment without sending me my order or any confirmation and basically told me im banned. Uber eats has way better quality control of their employees and buisiness' they work with. Im done wasting my time
Half the time they don't deliver your food, then customer service tries to tell you it's your fault & you have to fight for a refund. Even when you're about to get a refund, the customer service will leave the chat & you have to start the process all over again, sometimes 3 to 5 times

Such a terrible customer service. I contact them regarding to my refund. At first she/he seems helping me to resolve my issue. But i was wrong and was a bit rude to me, she/he left on chat group without solving my issue.
I've never met a more cheapskate company. They charge you at least $10 just to deliver and expect the drivers to have a good tip. They overcharge and raise the restaurant prices on the app so they get more money. They refuse to be liable for their couriers delivery. They should be checking the food or items before they leave the restaurant/store. Refusing to refund after so many times is $#*!ed. Maybe don't screw up so much for what people pay you for. You're literally a delivery service, deliver what people order or make it right. Worst thing to come to Canada
Recently, I discovered there was fraudulent charges happening with my credit card through Skip the dishes. They are completely uncooperative. They are a disgrace to the restaurant industry. They are a health risk with their dirty bags. I have banned them from coming to my company.
I'm all for second chances but iv now had problems with getting all of my orders with this app. It's difficult to get help when this happens, food takes forever to be delivered, way to expensive. But the most frustrating part is paying for the product and the convenience but getting nothing but bad service and rude customer service.

Rob person who is taken my food from restaurant and forgot to add the phne number. So im tracking his way through google map. He just came and went. He not delivered my food. I saw that guy and tried to call. He dont stop the car. So dont order fro. Skip dishes. I complaint them, but no response

I used Skip to order some food and was told 35-45 mins. I called the actual place after an hour and was inquiring about the status of my order and they told me skip was down all day and orders were not going through. Skip never even posted on their site that the service was down. Will never use Skip again and now I've to get my $ back.

We ordered dinner that came to 74.00 we never got the food and they have not refunded us our money, I have tried and talked to their customer service numerous times and they are useless! Not sure how they get away with not refunding the money. Terrible company who gets away with ripping people off. Do not use skip!
The worst customer service ever. Two orders delivered too cold to eat! I thought I would try one more time and the delivery driver went missing in action! Reported that he delivered to my address and did not. It took me one hour texting with two abysmal customer service agents before I received credits and then I couldn't use the credits until I upped my order! Finished ordering through these folks!

After dealing with three different people over two weeks, Skip the Dishes refused to credit me for a charge they made on my VISA card. I proved that it was not my charge but they still refused to fix their error. I cancelled my account and will not use Uber Eats.
I applied at the end of March 2020 for extra cash on the side for my family. A portion of the application process is that you must purchase bags and pay for a back ground/criminal check. I paid this and have been sending emails daily to find out when I can start and when I will receive my bags.(The application process on line states 2-3 business days) To date I have sent over 20 emails and called several times and got no where. I have also called several times and waited on hold for hours to be told they can't help me. When I called this morning I waited on hold for a half hour and when I explained my problem the woman hung up on me! Skip the Dishes took my money and ran with it! I would not recommend applying or working for them. I will be contacting my bank to alert them of the Skip the Dishes scam.
First, second, and third order was missing items, and the driver didn't even notify me the ider was on my doorstep - despite my request to 'Please Ring Doorbell'. Food got cold sitting outside. Stopped ordering for a while and thought I'll give them one more shot. This time, I got a phone notification that my food is nearly here, but nothing showed up! Waited 10 minutes, no food. I am done with this company for good. I'd rather drive the 20 minutes myself, pay less and have kids with happy tummies than go through this stupid stress again. DO NOT RECCOMMEND!

I ordered from Skip the Dishes for the first time. We placed an order for Pick-Up, but the app made it a Delivery. I did not add my address while ordering because we were ordering pick-up and there was no way for me to correct this error.
The incorrect address was in there. Eventually I spoke to someone from Skip the Dishes, gave them the correct address. The food was not delivered.
No one notified us that the order had arrived. We waited for over an hour.
I requested a full refund and they denied it. No support was offered.
How is it that orders take over 1 hr. That's not a business. Third time it's taken over 60 mins to get fast food. Terrible business and I'm deleting the app. I'll go get the food, this app is for the laziest of people. Hey Skip, GFY worst company ever.
Today I ordered from skip. Not they delivered the wrong product but also not ready to send the correct product. Even ask me to save the product for tomorrow to return as if I just ordered to save it for them to take back. Rubbish app

Purchased a gift card, made few purchases in the past always got the redeem code & emailed transaction receipt. But did not receive the redeem code but have the email receipt got approved & took the money from my account. Did not receive the code just to contact customer service.
