Many vendors provided stale food and when Skip was advised they did not care to address the issue or refund the money. There are limits to their refund, despite the driver or the restaurant being at fault. Why should the customer lose? Buyer beware.

I had a promo for $20 off one order. When I tried to place an order, the promo code would not show up. After placing the order, customer service said they'd only give me $20 CREDIT rather than $20 REFUND, and said I'd have to place another order to use said credit. Such a slimy, dishonest way to make people place TWO orders in order to get the $20 instead of just allowing them to use it on the first order, as the promo advertised. Deleting the app and never using this crap company again, too shady for my liking.

So many issues with Skip the dishes, my last two orders have been atrocious. The first one I watched the driver go around in circles through town going the wrong direction because he/she could not even find the restaurant (Carl's Jr.) which is on a main highway in Spruce Grove. I actually got in my car and beat the driver there to collect my food (after waiting over 30 minutes for delivery that was supposed to be with a 15 minute wait to start with). I imagine that guy is still lost.
Second instance in two weeks, Ordered Subway and got McDonalds delivered. Contacted Skip to report and they refuse to help because "I have had too many refund requests" then the proceeded to tell me they cannot do anything at all then closed the chat! Twice!
I then got back on chat only to be told there is no phone number to call and nobody to help me, no refund etc...
Service is horrible and their chat system is even worse as they will just close the chat at their whim if you ask for what you paid for or a refund. If I didn't know better, I would say they are scammers. I have never received such incredibly inept "service" in my life!
Only silver lining is that I paid by credit card so I am requesting my bank to look into this for me.
Bottom line is their drivers suck and their customer support which is only available through chat is very non-helpful. The only time I have requested refund is because the service was Not Delivered! To me, that absolutely warrants a refund, every time! It is not my fault that their service is so bad that it would ever have to get to that. In addition, I show that I only ever had a few refund with them, I guess that is too much for them to handle. My guess is that they are just so bad at this that refunds for unmet service will ruin them.
Use another service for your food delivery because this one is not worth the headaches!

I'm a delivery driver I still working because I'm laid off for this pandemic. When you get the order when you reach to restaurant customer cancelled the order but they pay $3.10. You drove more than 15km to reach restaurant but they only reimbursed you $3.10 that never take care there staff. That don't pay anything I will quit when I get the job. They are licking because of this pandemic

So, ordered food from them, the tracker showed me that the food had been delivered. It hadn't. So, I tried to get in touch with them. There is no contact number as you know, so I was on the chat with a bot for approximately 20 minutes. Was then told that the driver had dropped the food on the front porch. He hadn't; there was nothing at my front door. So I told them, and asked for a refund. Next day, my neighbour comes knocking at my door, they had left the food at his doorstep, without ringing his door bell or even knocking on the door. So, he was unaware of the food, but the raccoons noticed and had a merry little party at his expense. Which I then had to clean up. I asked for Skip's management to contact me. Got a call from a really unprofessional lady (honestly the bot did a better job). And was told that the drivers are contractors so whatever they do is not Skip's responsibility. Yeah, use uber eats instead. At least they're polite.

I made an order, set for my home address. The company sent it to my work address and said its my responsibility when I tried to bring it up with them. I drove 40 minutes out of my way to my work, to be greeted with nothing. Got back home and tried to contact support, just to be told no one was online and if I left my name and email someone would get back to me. No one did and when I tried to talk to support again just to be told I had to bring it up with support within 24-48 hours, or they would do nothing. I was waiting for support to get back to me in that time, so I don't see how they think that is appropriate. I then asked for the company to deactivate my account just to have 2 customer reps end the chat on my without deactivating my account. Finally got the third one to do what I was asking of them.

I working for skip for a while a year full time, first the don't pay for the delay the food, there is in food delay section in every trip details but doesn't matter how long you wait for your food 15 minutes or more always show's $0. And I am very sure they do charge the restaurant but it goes in the company packets.
And More than 3 times happened to me the customer change the drop of location, last time I drove 6k extra for changing location, I spoke to the customer service before I drive to the new location, the customer service telling me will pay you for extra, and I never get paid, when I claim next day I see no shifts available and it stay fir for few days no shifts.
I drove in the above trip 13k plus 6k for the new location total 19 k, skip paid only $10.40, and never paid for the extra k.
It is really dishonest company.

This is very bad service. This app customer service is execrable. They do not update the app so I made a whole order for my family that I can't receive. I call the restaurant only to find out they couldn't confirm my order since they had nothing left and the had notified skip app an hour prior that they were out of stock. It was late so most of the restaurants I knew were closed so I couldn't even order elsewhere. The agent was arrogant and rude and took so long to finally get back to me ( his name was Swaranjeet Sidhu) and the manager was the same, arrogant and unbothered. And to compensate me, they only gave me a refund and 5$ credit. I spend hundreds of dollars on this app every month and all they could do is 5$. Obviously I needed a refund, I didn't get any food! Worst app for customers! Better use Uber eat or door dash or something because this app is completely unreliable. They obviously don't value our time or service.

If you what to get good customer service, please use another app

I ordered breakfast for my bed ridden mother and kids while at work. The courier dropped of the drinks and syrup, that's it, no food. I got on with STD customer service and they messaged me that they could not reimburse me because I made too many complaints and been reimbursed too many times so they can not reimburse me now. I wanted the courier to take the missing items back to the house, they couldn't do that either. So they could take my money and not fulfill their service by delivering my order and take my money in the process. They basically stole my money. I called *******547 and got the same spiel for the guy I spoke to, he says he will get someone to call me, which I know that is a lie.
So, basically if you order with STD and they take your money and do not bring your food you should not send in a complain just give them your money. They are thieves and I will escalate this with the BBB.

First I need to apologize to the people who I honestly did not believe about there reviews for Skip the Dishes. Not once but twice i had my orders messed up. The first time I thought OK mistakes are made. Let it ride. But the second time was the icing on the cake. I phoned to the restaurant we ordered from soon as we said we were calling because the driver had forgotten something. They said right away the 4 drinks from your order. I replied yes. They had said they told the driver twice the drinks were with the order. He left before they realized he didnt take them. The restaurant manager told me to get a hold of Skip the Dishes and tell them to send the driver back for the drinks. They of course refused said they would refund the cost of the drinks. Would we like it in Skip the Dishes rewards or back on your card. I immediately said back on card and will find new Delivery Service. Do not recommend Skip the Dishes.to anyone

A driver with very very loud music in his car, couldn't hear a word from what he was saying, left the food on top of the AC compressor, knocked very hard on the door Which turned the door security alarm on, checking the order, found missing items which was very inconvenient as we were fasting and this was supposed to be our break-fast, contacted the customer service which was also really really rude, never again with skipthedishes

The upcharge the menu items, the charge a service fee for ordering from them then the delivery fee then the tip and then when you spend $27.00 on a waffle breakfast that the restaurant would have delivered for $22.00 before skip the dishes they deliver it to the wrong address. Every Sunday. I then am offered a skip credit refund of exactly $27.00 for repeated bad customer service. Seriously this company is the biggest scam ever and after making all of that money they can't even offer a complimentary couple bucks for a coffee for the inconvenience.

An hour for a totally cold order for 22.12 dollars it took 59 min to get garbage and they gave me 7 dollars back skip blames thier drivers and the restaurant while some prick gets rich for garbage

I had over $100 charge to my credit card from skip the dishes. Yet I have never used this service. After googling this issue it appears to be quite common. I had to cancel my credit card and open a fraud investigation.

They are a crap service! They are always late bringing your food, and it is too hard to get ahold of anyone through chat. I would NEVER recommend this service to anyone! I would give them a zero rating if I could.

Today is my 3rd day in a row ordering food from skip, not receiving it, and also not receiving any resolution for the problem. Most of the drivers seem to be incompetent as well as liars because they keep saying my food is delivered when it wasn't. I wouldn't recommend using this $#*! show of an app to my worst enemy.

Tonight I ordered from skip and the order I received from them had an item that was incorrect. I requested a refund just on the one item and was declined. I order skip atleast 5 times a week... needless to say I deleted the app immediately. I refuse to spend my hard earned money on a company with that type of service.

Ordered food around 2 am in the morning. Courier said food was delivered. So I checked the front door and food was not there. Maybe he misplaced it? So I checked the neighbor front doors. Not there either.
This has happened so many times to me. I will never ever use this app again and I would not recommend anyone else to either. I believe that UberEats and DoorDash are better than this piece of joke on Skipthedishes. Never ever again will i be using this anymore.

Ladies be careful. My son made an order to have delivered at my house. The instructions we to call his number upon arrival. They did call from their app#. We were going to door and the driver called my phone from his personal cell number. We are not getting answers as to how he had my phone number and why it is now in his personal phone as a contact. Skip verified that the driver had never delivered to us before so they shouldn't have my number. Scary... 3 guys were in his car and 5hey now have my address as per drop off and my personal phone number. And they keep telling me it was escalated to have a manager call me. But nothing and now saying we gave that other number. I have asked them to pull up the call from last night and nobody will. Now they are telling me there was no escalation. I am talking to them while writing this... Just be careful when I asked driver how he got my number last night he hung up on me.

My son ordered food from McDonals through them and the food never got to us. I called their number and it doesn't even work and is super hard to get in touch with anyone. Went to McDonals to complain and their customer service is even worst. They played the blaming game. These companies are a bunch of crooks, thiefs and dishonest people. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM, save your money!

I ordered dinner when I recieved it the contents of my dinner were at the bottom of the bag. I told customer service. They refunded me in skip credits which I did not want. I ended up using the skip credits to order something else for dinner and 2 coffees one for me and one for my co worker. Both coffees were tipped over and filled the papers bag they were in. I told customer service who said they were going to refund me in skip credits. I said no because this happened twice in a row. Not happy and wont use them again

DON'T BOTHER WITH THESE PEOPLE! If I could give a zero, or even negative star rating I would. Constantly inaccurate with timing. It can say 20 mins for 10 mins, then change to 49 mins. Also delivery driver that is supposedly on their way to get your food can change 5 or 6 times in a 15 min period, which then affects how long it takes to get your food. Then they'll refuse to refund you but offer to cancel your order anyway. WHAT!? Yeah I'm gonna give you 30$ to not do your job. DELETED!

Twice in 2 weeks order hasn't made ii to my door. It makes iit to the building but not to the door Refund given in points but I want credit to my account. No way to talk to a human being.

3X now my order's have been stolen by the people delivering or dumped off at a different location. Not a very good image for Skip The Dishes for 3 order's to be stolen or dumped off at a different location in 1 month. Think it's time to call the police to report people delivering for theft.

Terrible service!
They cancelled my own order and they said that they couldn't find me in my phone number. I was with my cellphone with me all the time and also waiting the food in my building's lobby and nobody came.
I called to customer service and waited for more than 30 min to talk. It was not my fault and they said that I will not be refunded. Just the worst service company I have had.

If I could leave 0 stars i would 1 star is far too generous. This is the worst delivery company ever. Drivers make so many mistakes leave your food at the wrong place ect. Make sure you don't complain more than twice even for legitimate issues that you have proof for cause they will rip you off for your money and refuse to resolve the complaint. Happenened last night to me. Driver forgot to take the one bag with my wings in it. When I didn't receive them I called the restaurant and they told me they were still sitting there. I contacted customer service and they said because of previous issues they wouldn't do anything. I asked them to deliver my wings they left there and they refused. I asked them to call the restaurant and they will tell them the driver left them there and they refused to call. Lost my money will NEVER go through them again they are thieves!

My daughter bought $60.00 worth of food in Penticton and when I went out to get It I told the driver her name on the order so he handed the food to me.when I got inside to find out it was the wrong order. She messaged them back about it and didn't get a response until the next day and they said they couldn't do anything about it. So she sent another message saying then close my account. Another day goes by and no response but a message saying account closed. This is very unprofessional.I'm going to be closing my account to before they do the same to me.
