Many vendors provided stale food and when Skip was advised they did not care to address the issue or refund the money. There are limits to their refund, despite the driver or the restaurant being at fault. Why should the customer lose? Buyer beware.
I had a promo for $20 off one order. When I tried to place an order, the promo code would not show up. After placing the order, customer service said they'd only give me $20 CREDIT rather than $20 REFUND, and said I'd have to place another order to use said credit. Such a slimy, dishonest way to make people place TWO orders in order to get the $20 instead of just allowing them to use it on the first order, as the promo advertised. Deleting the app and never using this crap company again, too shady for my liking.
Came to drop my slurpees off and threw the slurpees on the front deck, and then said nothing and ran away. Also throwing one of the cups into the yard trying to hide it!
My wife and I were both flagged/banned and the company wouldn't to give us a reason. We then received a gift card from a friend after we had our baby. Skipthedishes wouldn't let them cancel and wouldn't let us use it. This company has the worst customer service. USE OTHER DELIVERY SERVICES!
I had a courier tonight who was extremely rude and unprofessional. He called asked for directions I couldn't understand him one bit so I decided to speak very clearly where I was located and he kept interrupting me telling me to come down where he was so I just hung up because I had better things to do with my time. 5 Minutes later he called again. I tell him AGAIN the number of my home and that the porch light was on and then he has the audacity to tell me I'm being rude when he clearly was the one who was being rude to me before hanging up. If you don't want to work for Skip The Dishes fine but that doesn't give you the right to be rude to your clients when you are tasked with delivering THEIR DINNER to THEIR HOME. Have some respect and start showing some professionalism for this line of work or don't do the job at all!
I ordered a junior chicken meal from Mcdonald's and a twenty piece nugget meal. I got no junior chicken meal and 10 NUGGETS instead This is beyond ridiculous and i am so disappointed in Skip The Dishes! I order from them constantly and the courier was Amanda. If you get this Courier DO NOT GO THROUGH WITH THE ORDER :) THEY ARE SO RUDE AND DONT GET THE ORDER RIGHT. I CALLED MCDONALDS AND THEY FLIPPED THEIR $#*! SO IM LEAVING A REVIEW INSTEAD. I hope skip fixes this soon.
Spoke many times about not getting my order but the did not respond accordingly they didn't care enough to respond about my complaint horrific for my first time
The driver was very pleasant and the order was delivered early. Everything was hot and completely sealed when I received it. Would recommend to anyone.
After multiple bad experiences and no luck contacting Skip, I'm done. Order directly from restaurants and don't let Skip skim the 30% from the restaurant.
If you get a delivery driver named Cheickna, do yourself a favour and cancel the order and start over so you get a new driver. This driver keeps your food and places it on delivered.
Ordered food and the delivery is not in real time. Keeps going back in time. Got cold food, and when you contact them they just drop the call. Not impressed. Will not use them again in the future.
Today i saw skip the dishes delivery put the order on the ground in the lobby instead of delivering it to the actual office. They put the food on the dirty floor n left.

I ordered burgers and waited out front of my building with my cell phone for the driver to save them time. As I was waiting I saw a car stop in front of my building and start eating food then drive off. My order then showed as delivered even though I didn't have it. After i contacted Skip the dish they tried to tell me the driver could not find the building. After being pressed they then changed it to they could not contact me for entry. Then the customer service lady tried to tell me that they tried calling and my phone didn't work. Of course none of these reasons made sense or were correct. I was out front of my building (which is a giant building that can not be missed with big numbers for an address out front) way before the little map showed the driver even close and had my cell phone with me (which works). I described the car and driver to them in hopes that if it was actually the person that was supposed to deliver my meal they may be able to do something about this so that the same situation doesn't happen to anyone again but of cause they don't seem to know anything or care. They did offer me a credit as a refund and suggest that I try to order again and wait another hour before I would get my food. If the driver simply couldn't contact me or find my building they would have been able to still deliever my food once I contacted them. The fact that they could not and told me I would have to reorder simply shows that they knew the food was gone and that is scary as I wonder how often they let this happen. Ridiculous. Save yourself the trouble and don't count on Skip the Dish for your meals.
These guys have screwed up my last couple of orders and this time delivered to the wrong address. Now they're not refunding my money

They should have the option for direct contact deliveries. For those who don't receive their food often. Or to have access to contact the delivery driver
They guy come near to my house and didn't come to my house and he completed the order. I got notification that your order is delivered but no one come to my house and I didn't get my order
Had a few situations with skip. One of them is they are supposed to take a picture of the food at the front door, instead the driver left the food at the gate that is on the side of the house.
The only thing worse then Skip the Dishes service is their Customer Service reps. Do yourself a favor and use Door Dash. Never ever will I use Skip the dishes
Ordered from Harvey's in Welland, Ontario. Order arrived but was actually cold... not even warm. Fries, onion rings, burgers... not even warm... actually cold.
I ordered two separate orders from 2 different restaurants, both with the same wait time. One came, I went to check the other order shortly after and it said it was cancelled. I then got a email saying the driver had tried to call me because he couldn't figure out where to leave the order (I live in a apartment building, and had the unit number in the order-I had JUST received another order 10 minutes prior to this). They said they were unable to refund me because they called me about where to drop off the order (I had no missed calls). They then asked for my number, I gave it to them and they said it was the wrong number on my file (I have had this number for 7 years). I asked what number they had on file then, and was told they couldn't give me that information. I then asked to speak to a manager and was laughed at and told a manager will contact me in 24-48 hours. I will luckily be able to cancel the payment on my credit card but I will never order through this company ever again and would strongly suggest anyone else to do the same.
Restaurants do not receive the tips, you never get a full refund for poor service.
Drivers are for the most part rude and NEVER have their thermal bags.

Ordered food last week which we did not receive! No refund when requested! Big time scam. Some delivery driver enjoyed our meal for dinner. Would give 0 stars if that was an option.
Its litteraly everything about this company thats trash. Customer service is bad, drivers are slow and block your door with the food(what moron does that). They fight with you when theres issues and will try to not refund you. I work on the other side in a dinner and its even worse. Will say 10 minutes and i will start making it and 5-10 minutes later ill look and nothings changed and they will show up 10-20 after its made and then it need to be remade cause its cold (they say they will pay for the cold food but then dont and you gotta call again), skip will take our $ and refund the customer when its not our fault. They cost us more money and headachs then they are worth. People lie left right and $#*!ing center about missing items and they take the whole $#*!ing bill instead of say the 2$ for the missing item. If its not skip ripping us off irs the POS people that steal from Small business by claiming $#*!s missing or wrong when its not but skip lets these people do it over and over.
Skip the dishes is the worst next to Uber and door dash, Uber a goof driver never came as I not tip and skip last straw a goof Karan as I got a refund as 2 garbage driver dumped my order on steps goofs never ever call it came and Agra food screwed me no one helped me I was a client for 3 years never again the worst service and bad people please don't do skip the dishes or door dash and Uber eats

I'd give zero stars if I could. I received the wrong order after ordering from Skip the dishes. I am a non meat eater and was delivered burgers and fries. I tried to contact customer service and there was no one answering. I messaged 25 times, emailed etc and nothing. I kept messaging the chat over and over with no response and then I swore and miraculously someone popped up and told me I was being abusive. Wth. I swear, they are just sitting there ignoring any complaints probably chuckling to themselves. Anyhow, I had to drive to the restaurant and pick up the order in the dark and rain, racing to get there before it closed basically IN MY PAJAMAS. The whole point of ordering was that I was in my pajamas on a dark and rainy night! I was super pissed by the time I got my food. The restaurant was super nice and gave it for free and they said that even they can't contact Skip the Dishes. Anyhow, I wanted at the least a refund for the delivery I paid. It is ridiculous that there is no recourse for this and no one answering and you can't contact the delivery driver. I am now using Door Dash and Uber Eats instead. I feel that Skip should be continuously reported to BBB as this seems like the way they conduct business should be illegal. I can't imagine any other business not providing some form of customer service if you were delivered the wrong item, or from what a lot of people are saying even the food is not delivered at all. I am spreading the word about Skip - they need to get their crap together or be put out of business.
I placed an order from Skip for Chinese for the first time in a while. The order arrived in good time, the only problem was that it wasn't my order! I asked Skip for a refund because all of the items were wrong. They said they would issue Skip Credits, but later said my refund was denied because it had been delivered. I called Mandarin and they admitted that the courier picked up the wrong order, but they couldn't help.
I spent about 30 minutes in a chat with Skip telling them I wanted a refund, not Skip Credits. They tried telling me again that I received my order, so I sent them a photo of the wrong bill. I finally received a refund for the food items and a credit for the delivery fee, tips, etc. I never plan to use Skip again, so I guess I'll eat that $16 in credits. More importantly they wasted 90 minutes of my time and I still have no food.
Since I had the wrong bill, I decided to call the person who my order was meant for. He said he received his exact order. OK, so they had time to realize they $#*!ed up your order and replace it by the time I received my order. Right.
Thanks to Mandarin for making fixing this too, I won't be ordering from you again either.
