Many vendors provided stale food and when Skip was advised they did not care to address the issue or refund the money. There are limits to their refund, despite the driver or the restaurant being at fault. Why should the customer lose? Buyer beware.
I had a promo for $20 off one order. When I tried to place an order, the promo code would not show up. After placing the order, customer service said they'd only give me $20 CREDIT rather than $20 REFUND, and said I'd have to place another order to use said credit. Such a slimy, dishonest way to make people place TWO orders in order to get the $20 instead of just allowing them to use it on the first order, as the promo advertised. Deleting the app and never using this crap company again, too shady for my liking.
After trying to place an order, my account was charged but no order was placed; after contacting support multiple times they just kept telling me that I never paid even though it even came up on my bank statement as a transaction approved. After asking for a number for supervisor the agent left the chat, so I asked again, the next agent left. Avoid this company at all costs unless you want to be out money for no reason

Professional Client (healthcare), tried Skip the Dishes for the fist time and experienced multiple charges and attempted charges to my credit card; total amount was in excess of $1000.00.

I followed the driver on GPS. After she picked up my order she proceeded to go off route and further from my delivery location. She stopped somewhere and was there for quite some time. I ordered over $40 worth of food. It said delivered but was never actually left at my door. I checked the house next door to see if it was a mistake. No food anywhere. I reached out to Skip on their app and it said 'no representatives were online to speak with me'. I tried an hour later, then again a couple hours later. I tried for 4 days straight. Finally found an email address for their customer service and they replied saying they only issue refunds within the first 48 hours. Apparently when you message on the app and it says 'someone will get back to you shortly', they don't keep any record of you reaching out. I'll never order from them again but buyer beware. Apparently it's not uncommon to happen and their representatives seem to not care about customer retention.

I live downtown, and the driveŕ leaves my food outside.no text...nothing! Second time this happens...i dont get my order because someone walking by mostlikely someone picked it up...never again Skip the dish...will make sure I'll pass the word around
I've given this company way to many chances. Constantly waiting way over time estimates and lazy drivers leave good nowhere near my door. Customer service is the worst I've seen with any business, it's absolutely the worst and don't get your money back when they get it wrong or in some cases not at all even get your order. Don't giving this company anymore chances or money. Everyone should do the same and use a different delivery service or go back to restaurants doing their own deliveries
They pay around 0.25 to 0.30 cents per km which is terrible, many times we receive an order in which 20 kms drive for $5.50 or $6, if you don't accept the order you're done for the day, there's no more orders. They have way too many drivers and the order range is between 5 to 7 dollars, if customers don't give a tip its not even worth for gas.
Yet again skip the dishes has completely bent me over. Their side of things food went wrong and now I had to drive to the restaurant myself to fix the problem as they'd only offer me 50% back for a cold coffee! 50% of 3$! This company is as cheap as it gets. Honestly this is one company that would do the world justice to shut down and let someone else do it right. SKIP THE DISHES SUCKS! The customer service is beyond horrific. They absolutely can barely speak English creating a language barrier to begin and these "help employees" get an attitude the second it inconveniences their day meaning you're the one to suffer because it has nothing to do with their money. You cannot contact help to speak with someone all of their lines are permanently busy. This company is owned by a crook and scams all! Stay away!

Placed an order at 5 pm was stated 35 - 55 min delivery the order showed up at 8pm. Did not want to do a full refund as the food ended up in the garbage from being cold and soggy. Will not recommend and nor will I ever order again. Been using Uber eats for years. Was willing to try something new. Uber eats is far superior the skip the dishes. They r a company that will always if not most of the time look after the customer even if it is a lose.
One particular day my food was delivered to a different unit. They only refunded half the order because the driver "took a picture", which they refused to show me.
I had to go through the fraud department of my credit card to have the amount reversed.
Deleted Skip as I will never use them again.
Can't trust a company that steals your money!
I tried to refuse my order because it was more than 30 minutes late and I knew the food wouldn't be good anymore. The deliver guy lied in my face, said he would confirmed that the food was not delivered and told me I would get a refund without any problem. A minute later, I got a text message saying that my ordered was delivered and accepted. Impossible to chat with the customer service even thought they have a Chat application on their website. I sent many emails but never got an answer.
Extremely unreliable. Food missing from order about 50% of time. Last order the driver must have thrown it in the porch because a can of pop was punctured and leaked everywhere. If an item is missing they don't reimburse or go and get the missing product. They give you a credit which means you have to pay service and delivery fees. Also you pay tip up front, so if you have a lazy driver who can't be bothered to place the product where you've requested, or steals one of your food items, you're out of luck for your tip. Skip the Dishes does not care.
Absolutely a rip off. I have used them 4 times and three time was a disaster ending up with cold food or hot ice cream. The last and final time they never brought anything and stole my money. If you want to waste or lose your money use Skip the dishes

If less than a star was an option, I would put none! Claim they sent a refund and never received it, also confirmed with my bank, and no record, this company is a scam and a crook! They steal what's owed to you, wish I had read reviews before signing up, as I see others also didn't receive their refund either!
As a restaurant owner I can honestly say this is by far the absolute worst company I have ever had to deal with. As I write this I'm on hold now for over 40 minutes. The absolute worst customer service ever. I'm dumping them and going with door dash as they actually care about the restaurant owner as well as the customers. Skip can skip on off. I've been on hold now for an emergency and still not answering. This is just ridiculous
I'm paying so much for delivery and leaving a good tip only to have bad customer service. I asked customer support a question and all they said was "your order was delivered, is there anything I can assist you with?" It's a total round-about passive way to not help customers. Terrible.
******* This is my order number from Tim Hortons 29th ace NE. I ordered the correct items and was called by someone to verify items then when I received order it was wrong also my donuts chocolate were all melted. I sent a request from them and they would not give me a refund.

After years of loyalty I'm done with skip. I waited outside my building and no driver ever showed up. I was chatting in real time with an agent and verified my address and phone number, but the courier never showed up or called, then changed their status to "food delivered". I left a bad review and the courier called me and YELLED at me, saying they did their job and I messed up. Keeping an eye out for my refund, sounds like they're bad at following through on those too.
They delivered my order to wrong address and only offered 50% of food item in skip credits. So order was 44$. And gave 13.95$. In skip credit for an order that I did. Not received at all. Will never use the service anymore. They steal people money
Made an order and even after waiting for approx 2 hrs the order was not delivered. They don't have any feedback on your order nor allow anywhere to cancel your order. It's extremely frustrating. Tried to make an online complaint and the system didn't submit my complain saying email is not correct despite the fact the email was correct. Checked with restaurant and they said my order is ready but no one came to pick it up. If these companies cannot arrange an order pick up which is their primary work then why they do not simply cancel the client order and notify them. These companies are piece of $#*!.
It's a hit or miss if the food will actually arrive. Couriers are paid almost nothing, so it's up to each one if they feel like delivering or keeping the food. No human to talk to, for complaints. All automated text chat. 10 days for refund, but they don't refund your tip!
I ordered food through skip the dishes on July 15,2021, and they charged we 136.54 dollars. Two problems happened:
1. The food was never delivered and when I called the delivery person he has delivered. Later I discovered a delivery to an address on Britannia rd east, which is of major furniture retailer. When I took up for refund they refused.
2. I again ordered directly to the same restaurant to pickup food the cost was 111.79 for exactly same food. They overcharge 25 dollars even though they say no delivery charge above 20 dollars.

Customer service is beyond terrible. Three screwed up orders in a month. 1. Pickup order from restaurant over an hour delayed - Skip did Nothing and would not cancel Nd refund - scam! 2. Restaurant did not send correct order. Skip did not even bother responding to chat to correct the issue. 3. They randomly cancel my order and then do not refund my money. They give a garbage skip credit - as if I want to deal with them anymore. DO NOT USE SKIP - they don't care about their customers - they only do a fantastic job of scamming you every chance they get!
