Many vendors provided stale food and when Skip was advised they did not care to address the issue or refund the money. There are limits to their refund, despite the driver or the restaurant being at fault. Why should the customer lose? Buyer beware.

I had a promo for $20 off one order. When I tried to place an order, the promo code would not show up. After placing the order, customer service said they'd only give me $20 CREDIT rather than $20 REFUND, and said I'd have to place another order to use said credit. Such a slimy, dishonest way to make people place TWO orders in order to get the $20 instead of just allowing them to use it on the first order, as the promo advertised. Deleting the app and never using this crap company again, too shady for my liking.

I get the delivery dropped at our door. Every time a driver comes here instead of reversing in the side drive 15 feet back to turn around they always pulll forward onto the weeping tiles in front of my house on my lawn when there is a clear place to turn around and not wreck my weeping tile which will cost $1000s to replace. It happened on several occasions which led to me running out the door to tell them to get off and explain why. I email chat customer service to tell them what was happening to inform their drivers not to reverse onto somebodys yard without that persons permission. It was inappropriate and could cause damage that I would be charging them for it. It's safe to say that not one person messaged me back to take care of this situation.

Products used:
Multiple different stores and it was always poor quality and service.

I purchased a $50. Gift card but when I scratched the code a few of the numbers came off - the card is not plastic, it is a paper based card and this can happen if you scratch too hard. I contacted Skip but they told me to return to the store where I purchased it - I did this but they could do nothing. I had sent a picture of the card to Skip during the live chat. They have very poor customer service - will never buy another gift card from them.

The list of terrible experiences with this company is extensive, from delivery drivers saying they dropped the order off when they didn't or took it to the wrong door, to the terrible customer service from the "contact center" overseas to waiting forever for a refund on the card you used. But what really tops it off, is when you wait almost forty minutes for a burger combo from hero burger, and a message pops up saying the restaurant needs more time to make your order. So then you go from 12 minutes on the clock back up to 51 minutes. The problem with that is, there is this magical little tool called Google where you can type up a restaurant name and phone number and bons your Uncle. So sneaky and underhanded of skip to blame the restaurant when the real issue is lack of driver's on the road. Maybe if y'all weren't so greedy and paid your driver's a decent amount they might be more inclined to stay on the road later.

Please do NOT consider using skip the dishes as they will not refund you for items you do not receive. The online chat just says you need to email and after you email you get a generic response saying there is nothing they can do. Please try other deliver apps like Uber eats as they seem to have no issues dealing with issues.
Awful service skip the dishes.

The Driver never came to the door. I missed one phone call and never received my food order.

Customer service said because we could not get a hold of you based on one missed call we will not refund or re-deliver or send the food back to restaurant for pick up.

Completely horrible service.

I order skip quite often and I'm usually missing an item but don't complain. I ordered again from Wendy's and yet again I was missing a sandwich ( that cost me $8). I finally got fed up and made a complaint to skip the dishes and they said they could not refund my $8. So why would I order from a company that loves to take my money, doesn't care if the restaurant makes a mistake or someone in my family doesn't get their food and thinks it's fair and ok to take my money and I get nothing for it. I might as well just skip the order and put my money directly into the toilet and whoever runs skip the dishes can come and flush the handle.

Order from the and they always drlivermtp the wrong address. When I contacted customer support they tell me there's nothing they can do and they won't refund my money. Out 50 dollars everytime. Don't use this delivery service. UBER FOR LIFE.

So I placed an order through SkipTheDishes for about 50 $60 to which the courier showed up at the restaurant and after waiting over 45 minutes for my food. Then decided to cancel the order and not even go inside The restaurant, the courier said they were closed. They didn't even call me to tell me that my order was canceled… And they didn't even refund me my money… Until i Messaged them for it. He proceeded to beat around the bush for my money back. And didn't give me an answer as to what happened. Told him I was super upset about the service today and the guy in the chat didn't give a $#*!… overall very $#*!ty service. Will never use them again.

I placed an order for burger King and I never received it. They are saying that it was delivered and I have security cameras and my dogs would have barked. I contacted them on the same day and I was told that I would get a refund and I never got my refund. And now they are saying that they are so sorry for screwing me out of my money

Their service is so bad, no way to contact courier and no helpline number. Their driver never delivers the food at time or even sometime they do not deliver food but click the option that they deliver it.

It is common that your order is incorrect when delivered. Skip it quick to give you skip credits, but it forces you to reorder and pay a second delivery fee and tip. If they are going to give you skip credits they should also credit the delivery fee and tip.

Was just comparing prices from pizza 73 website and then skips site. The wings were jacked up $5 as was the pizza on skip site! Then add on the delivery and surcharge. They will be going out of business soon if they keep that up! They lost me as a customer.

I put in an order assuming it would be delivered, but it reverted to pick up when it went through because the restaurant was out of the zone. When I tried to change to delivery, I was told the restaurant is out of the zone. I then requested to cancel the order and was told that because the restaurant started making the order, I can cancel but I would not get a refund! Ridiculous. I will never use skip the dishes again. I could have called the restaurant directly for pick up!

Poor customer service and terrible drivers! Never recieved our order though the restaurant confirmed the pickup! Got no response from Skip the Dishes after multiple attempts to customer service. No businesses should use them and their business license should be revoked!

I cancelled an order and they still took the money from my credit card. 5 to 10 business days to have that refunded to my card is unacceptable to me. I have been using them for years but I will never use them again. Time to try their competition.

I used them a few times. Then I noticed a few weeks back that I was charged a few times on different days that I never even ordered from them. I thought it was strange but thought maybe my bank made an error. Was going to look into it but got busy. Tried to order a few more times since then but it kept saying payment failed. When I contacted their customer service via the chat in the app they first file me they did not have any of my information on file. Then they said my account was flagged and I can't order from them anymore. I was shocked and asked for a reason. They said I had to contact my financial institution. Which I did & my bank said it made no sense to them. So I cancelled my card & got the bank to send a new one. What a weird & shady bunch of losers.

The past 2x I have used this service, partial or full order not received. No customer service # to call and if you call the restaurant all they say is that it has been picked up. Who do you believe? Only option is to use email and just told that they cannot do a "refund". Used to use Skip at least once/week. Not any more!

Tip for consumers:
No refund provided if food not delivered. The restaurant takes no ownership and will tell you the food has been picked up. When the food doesn't show up at your doorstep Skip the Dishes has not Customer Service to call. I will no longer use this service.

If they screw up your order kiss your money goodbye! It takes a lot more energy to get a refund than making a order. The refund policy is a joke! It's impossible to get a refund with the main component of my order missing!

Don't waste your time to order. I rarely receive my order. I get the notification that it has been delivered but it never arrives. Then I have to accept skip credits or wait 10 business days to get my money back. Skip don't wait 10 days for me to pay so I don't understand why I have to wait for my refund for a service I didn't get.

My tim hortons order took over an hour and a half to arrive. I could see from the tracking on the app that the driver was sitting at a park for over 30 minutes. All I got from support was generic responses about how busy they are which was clearly not the issue. My food was ready and courier assigned. He was not making other deliveries, he was sitting in one spot. I was assured by support that they would call the restaurant and have fresh food made... that was a lie. My coffee was cold, my hash brown was soggy and my son's frozen lemonade was melted. I was given a small refund. Pathetic.

Absolutely despicable service! Foods always cold my soup came in a bag half the orders always missing stay the hell away from skip! They are not capable of giving you a refund when they mess up your order you spend $110 and they give you back $16 when they screw up your whole meal! They don't care if your children go hungry or yourself they just offer you a credit so they can screw your mail up for you next time and give you another credit that's how they keep their business going! Never will I ever ever I don't care if it's snowing blizzarding freezing cold outside order from skip again!

I recently placed an order on skip the dishes, the order was never delivered, I used the apps "missing items" function but never got any feedback. When I contacted skip the dishes support (a guy called Gurinder K) they told me I didn't report the event on time and therefore there was nothing they could do. However, I reported it the same night it happened. They stole my $60. Don't ever order anything on this app!

Ordered from skip the dishes, have 3 hungry kids, person picked up our order from pizza pizza in Bradford Ontario, this persons name was Debbie. Our order never arrived, when looking at the map her car was parked for more than 20 min in a picnic area 10km away from our house. Than we get a notification that our order was delivered. When called skip the dishes we were told that the person couldn't deliver the order and that we'd get a refund within 10 days. My kids are still hungry and now I have to pay more money for them to eat. This person had a great meal on us in a picnic area, never again will I use skip the dishes, this company is a minus 1000 stars thanks to Debbie.
