Many vendors provided stale food and when Skip was advised they did not care to address the issue or refund the money. There are limits to their refund, despite the driver or the restaurant being at fault. Why should the customer lose? Buyer beware.
I had a promo for $20 off one order. When I tried to place an order, the promo code would not show up. After placing the order, customer service said they'd only give me $20 CREDIT rather than $20 REFUND, and said I'd have to place another order to use said credit. Such a slimy, dishonest way to make people place TWO orders in order to get the $20 instead of just allowing them to use it on the first order, as the promo advertised. Deleting the app and never using this crap company again, too shady for my liking.
I find it kind of funny that two times I've use SkipTheDishes having a brand new credit card and the only number I ever used to wish to give it to SkipTheDishes to order food and fraudulent activity took place on my card. This was the second time skip the dishes is the only company that I had my card registered to you. It was a brand new card, I suspect I might not be the only one and all she checked her credit card statements. I tried to contact her office and I get a chat conversation which I requested to contact the company and they are not calling me back. I do not believe on the only one it just seems to be quite a coincidence. I do not believe their site is secured enough to hold your credit card information. I just ordered Mr. Puffs through Skip the Dishes, and the driver decided not to deliver my order. I was waiting for over 1 hour and the skip the dish help line advised me that the driver called, but I never received a call from the driver. After complaining with Skip the dishes they decided to blame me the customer, and defend the driver, who is currently eating my Mr. Puffs... I hope the driver gets a ticket for eating and driving. I will never use this service again.
I ordered what's turned out to be rotten food from Popeyes. I take snapshots and I send it to them and I am told that they cannot refund me because apparently I have had a ton of refunds on my account. They must be looking at some imaginary account because I've never had a refund on my account. If it was worth it as I have a number of friends who are lawyers I would too this company to the point that their employees would not have money to wipe their $#*!
By far the worst company when trying to talk to someone, their system decided to glitch out and choose the wrong address on my list and and then when trying to get the order corrected and sent to me they only give back 50% which I did not get back, they refund 14$ on a 40$ order.

I have 3 instances where in skip the dishes messed my order up by missing an order. I told them and i was only given a refund once on that 3 times that they were missing a something. I stopped ordering and deleted the app but i installed it again because they are the only one the delivers the chicken i want and just last week i ordered fried chicken and it never came although it says on the app delivered? When i came out the food was not there so i called skip the dishes but the customer service was not helpful and said they cant do anything. I got so mad that the service was bad and they are not willing to redeliver. Never ordering again from skip i would rather stick with uber, door dash. I would rather starve than give my business to skip! Its the worst and will never trust them again.
I cannot tell you how upset I am that there was no support for cancelling one of my orders. I had accidentally made an order and there wasn't a button that allowed me to cancel the order. I proceeded to call the skip customer service number which then continued to tell me that no support would be given to me on the phone and to use the messaging support on the app. I then continued to that and no one replied to me and when someone entered the chat they said they were getting my details and then left the chat. That is absolutely nonsense. What terrible service. So I am now forced to pay for something that I tried to cancel. Unbelievable

I ordered a few time on skip. I was looking at the menu on the site that I wanted to order from, not skip. And by dong that, I found out that they change the prices on the menu. Looked up four local restaurants and all four prices were different from the stores pricing menu, skip raised the prices on all four. Ex: one place charged 12.75 for scallops, skip charged me 14.25 for the same thing.! I called all four restaurant and asked them about the prices, and they all said they have no control what skip puts on their site for prices. So add that up along with your delivery, plus tip, your paying a lot, ore than you think...
Skip delivered my order to the wrong address. Customer service gave me the address and apologized for the inconvenience. They said they would let the restaurant know, however Skip took the order so they got it wrong not the restaurant. I had to request a refund of the tip multiple times which they finally processed after escalating my request. Not impressed with the service.
This is 4x I've been ripped off by skip. They left our food at the wrong hotel door, we reordered, then the 1st order was found and skip said no refund, you got your effing $$$ twice, wtf would we order 2 exact meals, your a pathetic company and you have 1.1 rating. No wonder, your thieves and I hope you choke on a bone

The driver passed through my house and stopped there for a few minutes, then went to the next street, was there for 10 minutes, then completed the transaction even though food was not delivered to me. Kinda annoying but I hope he enjoyed the food.
Skip is great when things go well yesterday they delivered my food to the wrong adress. They sent me a $23 refund on a $60 order and said they understand my frustration. If you can't afford to lose your order and the cost of it once in a while don't use them I can't enclose proof of order because I didn't receive it. I just paid for it on my account
Dudes literally never follow instructions. Customer end is a mess. Business end is also a mess. Just order ubereats if you enjoy having your food actually delivered to you instead of like... vanishing into the ether along with your driver.
Skip the dishes is an absolute joke of a company. I have had so many issues with them. Recently their driver did not deliver an order of $60 to me and they charged me for it anyways. When I messaged them asking what was going on they told me they couldn't refund me or give me a credit even though I DIDN'T EVEN RECEIVE MY FOOD. I spoke with two different agents and even emailed them. They all have the exact same answer. I can't comprehend how a company can expect you to pay for food you never received due to the incompetence of their own drivers. I've been a loyal customer who uses them regularly despite common mistakes but this was the final straw. I literally hate this company and will never use them again.
I ordered today and after one hour I msg'd the Skip rep and was given the option to cancel my order which I did as it was obvious that it would take at least another hour at which point my sushi would not be so fresh. I am thankful for the prompt refund. I feel VERY sad that the restaurant is the one that suffered. I will not be using this service going forward and have deleted the app. I am sure that this is contributing to a lot of dissatisfied customers and a great deal of FOOD WASTE! In order to provide the customer service bragged about in multiple commercials perhaps some $$$ should be allocated to providing top quality delivery instead of advertising.
Order 2 kebabs through skip. They was cold upon arrival. Called store. They said yeah, we made them a while ago. We said could you said 2 hot ones. They said no. Contacted skip. Order value was $27. They offered $11 refund in skip credits! I said they are inedible. They said they could offer 50% of order value. I asked why we had to pay the other 50% for inedible food. They said that's the best they could do. Deleted app from phone and will never use again. Beware!
The customer service is $#*!ty. Food was ruined. I was trying to talk to customer service and he was keep on saying have a good day. This is why they xharge extra for third party order and provide such service.
Today I spent 1 hour and 30 minutes for a 30 minute original wait time, driver was just driving around delivering other orders... Had to reach out to support after 45 minutes.
I canceled my order after 1 hour and a half of waiting, got a full refund for which Ill have to wait 10 business days to get and lost my time and dinner.
This is like the 100th time this has happened (not exaggerating), this is a new practice of the Skip the Dishes family. Over and over again quality of service is declining.
Skip has begun to do multiple deliveries from 1 pick up, or place multiple deliveries on a courier after he/she has accepted the other orders.
Extremely bad service, stay away.

I noticed my driver never moved for almost 1 hr. I contacted customer service to see where my food is at and if driver is okay. Long story short they said 1.5 hr delivery is fine and then ended chat. No refund. Wtf! Ontop of that, paid for overpriced food, more expensive than restaurant actually charges.

I received an order yesterday and the driver asked for my ID. Instead of just looking at the picture, the driver input my license information into some kind of machine. I thought this was a new policy, but after contacting support, was told it was not. They could not reach the driver. They would not give me the driver's contact information or let me speak to a manager. THIS IS IDENTITY THEFT. I have heard nothing back in regards to this matter. UNACCEPTABLE! Do not ever use Skip The Dishes. I will be looking into legal ramifications. OH! I did receive 5$ in Skip Credits for the INCONVENIENCE
I am tired about restaurants getting a bad rap because your service is poor! Every single time I get a delivery from you it is a hassle! I have given door to door instruction, and your drivers stil can't find my house! Not only can't they find my house when they do finally call, they don't listen, argue, and hang up on us! Your service is terrible!
I received someone's chicken wings today. When I contacted support, I was told.

Second time our food was not delivered and did not receive a credit or refund. The driver did not call or attempt to use the buzzer. Concierge also confirmed no one even attempted to deliver our order.
I received a coupon from skipthedishes for $20 off a few days ago. I used that coupon to order some food and went to check out. The coupon applied properly and my total was a little over $23. When it came time to enter payment detail I didn't notice the coupon was removed and I was paying the full amount of a little over $40. When I contacted skipthedishes they told me the payment didn't go through and to order again eventhough by that time I already paid and had the food in hand. What a $#*! hat worthless company with the worst customer service.
I Will never order from SkipTheDishes again, I have credits on my account which was from my credit that they didn't return it back to the card but they left a credit on my account and next day I wasn't able to use that credit which was $30.49. They locked the account and said I can't use that account anymore, they won't give me my money, so please don't waste your money or time on this app or on there website...
My order ******* placed with Baigs Grill Mississauga was not delivered on 12 January 2024, the customer service did not respond to update me and they did not refund the money paid nor did they have courtesy to show some customer service.
Today my order to Hakka Legend restaurant got cancelled 3 times because the restaurant does not have the food every time I place the order!, What management does Skip the Dishes do in these matters where the customer has to pay from their credit card and the money now sits in the credit of their app and all their vendors do not have food available that you order! I am extremely disappointed!
