Many vendors provided stale food and when Skip was advised they did not care to address the issue or refund the money. There are limits to their refund, despite the driver or the restaurant being at fault. Why should the customer lose? Buyer beware.
I had a promo for $20 off one order. When I tried to place an order, the promo code would not show up. After placing the order, customer service said they'd only give me $20 CREDIT rather than $20 REFUND, and said I'd have to place another order to use said credit. Such a slimy, dishonest way to make people place TWO orders in order to get the $20 instead of just allowing them to use it on the first order, as the promo advertised. Deleting the app and never using this crap company again, too shady for my liking.
I ordered 2 medium pizzas today from little ceasers, I spent 42 dollars and the courier did not deliver my order to my address instead he went to wrong address and skip the dishes customer support will not help me and wants me to wait 10day for it to be investigated for a error that was done by thier courier. It is unfair for a paying customer who did not receive there order to now then have to wait 10days for something they did. The manager did not try to help me at all but instead ended our conversation without resolving it. This app should not be used because this is not my first incident with skip the dishes. Now my kids are hungry and have nothing to eat because and incompetent worker did not do his job properly.
They left my food in the lobby of my apartment. The customer service people told me that was my instruction for contactless delivery. That was not my instruction, they always delivered to my door, and someone stole my food. Will never be using this again
I purchased an order and was called and the courier asked for my unit number. I gave it to him and he even repeated it. I was texted that the order was delivered but it hadnt. I tried reaching out to skip support, but they were rude and of no help.
Consistently use skip for orders when I cannot get out and many have missing items. If the items are missing they still ecpect you to pay and because of the amount of documented complaints (even showing pictures) they have dismissed me and stold me that they don't meat my expectations. Yes I expect when I order a burger to have it arrive and not have to pay for it. The worst customer service that I have ever experienced.
Ordered breakfast and the driver "couldn't find" broadview ave which in itself makes zero sense. I contacted skip the dishes cause the driver was doing circles and then he left. I was told no refund and the order was canceled. When they canceled the restaurant (Johnny Gs on parliament which was awesome handling this!) Didn't recieve my payment either because the order was canceled. I have all the screen shots to prove all of this and it's just disgusting! This company is a scam stay away!
Ive ordered through skip muliple times and had the delivery person drop the food off and leave. The apartment we ordered to they just dropped the food off at a random building and left. We never received the order and we were out $75.00
Another occasion we ordered to a hotel in moosejaw and they left the food on a garbage can at the elevator and sent us on a goose chase to find our food. We never got the food. Skip is the worst delivery company created.
The app is not the issue. The issue is the lazy, uncooperative associates. They refuse to help you and refuse to give you credits that are owed based on bad service. I had a driver, that was "10 minutes away" for 1 hour and 45 minutes. I was promised credits by one associate and did not receive them. When I inquired about the credits, a different associate simply dismissed my request and left the chat. Skip should allow a rating system for their employees as well because the absolutely terrible service comes from SKIP EMPLOYEES, not the drivers. Worst delivery service employees I have ever experienced. UberEats or DoorDash are far better alternatives at this point. Skip employees are horrendous at best.

Ripoff for restaurants, ripoff for customers, ripoff for drivers. Overall, terrible experience. Don't be lazy. Get in your vehicle and pick up your food, or order from the restaurant and have them deliver it. Win, win for everybody. These delivery services should be boycotted.
Stolen money and blocked off from costumer service telling me I could use credits but it was a lie there was no way of getting my money back after that they are criminals and leave deliveries in the snow and out where animals and bugs can get at them they can go suc big fat Santa for all I care fuc you guys and learn to do your job

Ordered 5 pizzas! Huge and never received it. No phone number to call a driver! Brutal service and no help from skip the dishes. No phone number son the website to call. Had to call the restaruant to get the phone number to call and then had to wait on the phone for twenty minutes. This is a crock and feels like a scam. Will never use skip the dished again and will hit social media hard for this. If I could have given a negative 5 rating I would.
I paid $34.26 for a meal and didn't even get what i want, what i got was a cold small fries and cold burger which i did not even want, i paid for a full meal and all they could refund is 50% $15 out of $34.26 which is not even 50%!?!?! I dont beleive this, this is a scam, and i waited 1 hour for that small burger and cold fries. Complete scam.

Yes its cheaper than the competing services, we now know why! Order your food but beware as this is now the second time this has happened where i place an order and the tracker comes on i get all excited haha my driver has picked up my food and then still 30 mins later never shows up... then no one shows up... and its always the restaurants fault apparently. Not cool take take responsibility... SORRY BUT BURGER KING ROCKS AND NO they would never take 1.5 hours to make food.
I ordered skip the other night and they canceled my order...the driver got a flat. They credited me back and so I reordered...changed nothing on my order. They sent me an email saying they were very busy but it was on the way. So I waited until the restraunt called me back and said no one has come to pick it up and they were closing. When I spoke to customer service they said I didn't have it for delivery. If that was the case why would I bother to order it in the first place? And why would they say they are busy? I don't drive and just had an operation and needed to take my medication with food that I never got...still paid for and waited over two hours for it not to come. Not happy with this company which is why I was hesitant to order to begin with.
I ordered couple times because I run a dayhome and have Kids of my own with all different food preferences and a husband that works insane hours so he wants different too. They blocked me 24 hrs after at first blaming me them after telling them as i just got off phone with my bank visa and off phone with fraud department to make shure I could order from skip they said my end was fine and skip was denying my payment. They won't fix it they won't give me a reason why they won't let me order now I have to walk my children to get my husbands supper and their breakfast for tomorrow morning across town as I used this Die to covid and not having a vehicle and major health issues... super upset now I don't want to use their services
I tried to order through my roomates account, and when we checked the tracker it said it went to a Five Guys on the opposite side of the city where we never been, and skip support crew refused to refund. And just after that, my other roomate checked their account and the address was set to somewhere on the other side of the country. Absolute garbage service and we will be using doordash from now on. Get your $#*! together you useless goofs

My order with skip the dishes was a re-order of my very last skip the dishes order.
I waited for the driver. The app said the drive had arrived. The driver phoned me. I told the driver I did not see him. I stood outside my house. He said he was at another address. I asked him to come to my address. He argued with me that the address was wrong. I said I did not know the address was wrong. I told him I simply re-ordered my last order and that my address has not changed. Rather than saying 'no problem, tell me where you are and I'll be right there', he argued with me further. I told him to cancel the order. My food would be cold. I didnt need the attitude.
Skip the Dishes then refused to refund the charge to my credit card. I disputed the charge with Visa as fraud and Visa reversed the amount. This 'charge back' will adversely affect their rating with Visa.
Odered McDonald's for my kids, they didn't put happy meal and 6 nuggets gave me a chicken burger and they wouldn't reimburse me and I had to reorder so I got charged twice for delivery. $50 for a happy meal and 6 nuggets sound fair? Sooo pissed I'm a single Mom trying to treat my kids and they take so much money from me

I was at work and ordered New York Fries. So the guy comes with my order and literally stops a block and a half away. He kept saying it was Gate B which was a completely different building and I didn't even know where it was. He expected me to walk there and get my order. I put it for a refund request; however, apparently they only give Skip credits which serves no purpose as I will never order from them again. I will place a request with my credit card company to have the charge removed. I WILL NEVER USE ANY FOOD DELIVERY SERVICE AGAIN. HAD ISSUES WITH UBER AND SKIP. No more.

Nothing but thief. They will Steal your money not give it back. My mom went on her app used my bank card on skipdishes they desides to make 1 order into 2 orders goes into my account steals My money siting in basement hear a knock go up stair to answer no ones there but extra stuff. So have to message them After explain what happen guys say can't give back money. That they stole with out my permission. Then rudely leaves the conversation right away. You guys are bunch theifs that steal and double charger ur customers there no way someone can make 2 order at the same time and youse have done this multiple times to us and to mutiple

Ordered Teriyaki in Barrie, $50.50 app says it showed up at hotel. Nope. Go on with support for over an hour, even talked with the driver who said" dude what can i say? Nothing I can do for you!" now back to customer service who finnal excalated this to a supervisor. Like WTF? Not my first order have done hundreds of dollars with these guys with out issue.

I ordered at 10:15 and it's now 11:31 an it still says 61 minutes. The customer sucks, you can't even call them anymore! They are horrible use over eats at least you get your stuff when they say!
