As a frequent flyer and part of the Million Miler club on a couple different carriers I had never used a travel agent, in 25 years. With the cost of tickets I utilized SkyLux as they were recommended by a friend. I had them price out two separate trips. The first was competitive with a ticket I had on hold on an airline I frequently fly to Asia. The cost difference was not significant enough for me to fly on an airline that I couldn't accrue miles/status on. The second ticket, was 50% less than I could find through my standard channels. Maverick, was very patient with me as I'm a bit of a princess when it comes to traveling, especially with my wife. That said, the experience, so far, has been seamless. And it's taken care of. Smooth and stress free. On the negative side all the email specials that were emailed to me were for business advertised from price a lot cheaper then I booked for.

Booked through Sébastien was very knowledgeable and accommodating, only problem is seating assignments Sébastien state would email me seating chart which I have not received, I went on British air for seating and there was a up charge so I called Sébastien back left message, called twice after and was hung up on, called skylux direct line spoke with another agent who said sebestien will call back in 30 mins still haven't heard from him yet, will give full review at end I'm hoping to give a 5 star

The representative lies to you and doesn't tell you he is selling a Basic Economy ticket and the quote says Economy. After you pay, you discover their fraudulent sales tactic. It takes an act of God to get your money back because they sell you a Non refundable ticket without your knowledge. BUT they keep their nonrefundable fee of $365.44 even though I discovered their error 10 min after payment while still on the phone and asked the whole transaction to be cancelled. Never do business with SKYLUX Travel.

I had my first experience with Sky Lux -- it was positive. I am looking forward to my trip this autumn to three cities in Asia. One of the countries I will visit requires a Visa. I did not realize that and it caused a delay. The agent was very helpful and patient as the issue was resolved.
