I order a queen size sleep number bed for my son as a graduation present.it was 1299 on. Sale.+this and that 2300$. They delivered it today and told my son that I will have buy a frame because it doesn't come with it and I was never offered a frame. I was so disappointed. Unacceptable to me
Sheep number sucks!
I have an $8,000.00 bed that I hate. What a pile of crap its just an air mattress with a foam top. I have the full split and the gap is growing every night. I would never buy anything from this company again. They don't cover anything or back up their product. Don't spend a dime with this company go to a mattress store with options.
I had a question about something that wasn't easily found on their website so I opted to use the online chat feature. I got my answer and then the rep was trying to get me to make a purchase right now. I told them that I would prefer to go to the store locally and I might do that later that day, he followed up with scare tactics that I might not be able to get one from the store and it's the same as online anyway. Never in my life have I reached out to customer support on any other website and been pressured into making a purchase. All the others take no for an answer. It seems their chat support agents are on commission.
Dealing with Sleep Number has been a nightmare from the start. Our delivery "technician" was not able to set the bed up and we had to call customer service and do it over the phone. A week later the bed would not connect to wifi again. Several calls to customer service to try to get it corrected. Finally had to schedule a technician visit. It took an HOUR on the phone with somebody to even set up the tech appointment for a week and a half out. On the day of the tech visit, our window was pushed out five hours, so we basically had to wait at home all day for somebody to show up.
Purchased 3-2023, had nothing but problems, not 1 yr old. Pd in full $10,000. Can't connect to wifi, want to charge for remote to fix. Waited 1 month to fix, purchased for health issue. Can fed x the remote, can't got to store to get either. Take your $$, but the worst service ever. Be careful purchasing this bed, NOT WORTH THE $$$$.
Save yourself a lot of money buy an air mattress and inflate it to your liking. That's all a sleep number is. My side popped less than a year of ownership and they want to charge me to get it fixed even with a warranty! Just threw it away and getting a purple mattress. Hopefully this is better. Good luck to everyone who purchased a sleep number.
I would not recommend their product or services. I actually suffered a fracture following their instructions while sleeping on their bed. I contacted them and was informed I could only return the mattress but not the base which I could not use with any other mattress because the sleeve that holds their mattress was not removable. When asked about that they sent me directions to a different bed. They talk down to people and do not make any effort to help someone. End result its a fee of $200 to return their mattress but am stuck with the useless base. Their air mattress does not hold up in comfort to a cheap air mattress that can be bought at your local box store. Do yourself a favor and buy a good bed someplace else.
We were so disappointed with my new (2/19/22) California King Sleep Number P6 Smart Bed with the FlexFit Base. After paying $5,358 we found out the only way to control the FlexFit adjustable base is with the attached remotes. The first time we discovered this is after it was installed by the company. We cannot control the flexible head or foot feature with the wireless remote that comes with the bed, or our iPhone or iPad, like it was demonstrated to us in the showroom. You can control your sleep number setting, but that is all! I used the "Chat Feature" on the Sleep Number web site and after waiting 45 minutes was told it was because of a "chip" shortage. If we would have known this before we purchased the bed, we would have waited until that feature was available, as we were still very happy with our older Sleep Number bed which we have had for the last 12 years. Only reason we upgraded was for the flexible head and foot feature. Beware of what you are purchasing…
The sales person sold me the $6,000.00 bed saying that it would last at least 20 years with no problems and probably last longer than that. The bed is six years old. It has taken me two years to figure out why one mattress kept loosing air. Long story short, a plastic piece inside of the pump cracked, Sleep number is blaming the chip shortage on not being able to buy a new pump. They are wanting to sell me a new bed. They say someday they might have some of the old pumps available again. They do not know when. I am not sure why they can't make a newer model pump work on an old bed. Terrible customer support... I would never buy a Sleep Number Bed again. I am looking at ISense air beds this afternoon.
I bought a sleep number bed in 2020. Now it's 2022 and it hurts my back so bad. I cannot get the pressure regulated because either way it goes my back hurts, my legs twitch and I'm miserable! Sometimes it starts adjusting the pressure without us touching the remote. My husband won't discuss getting another mattress because of the cost of this one. It has sagged in the middle since 6 mos after we got it. We are average size and not obese at all. The technician came out and said we needed new foam pads... really... after 6 mos? I called them a 2nd time and was told the cost would be $300. So... now I'm going to sleep in the guest room and hope I can get some rest. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS MATTRESS AT ALL.
We had to call multiple times about our appointment. I ended up having to take time off of work to get the mattress delivered because they messed up the time. They never took our old mattress away like they were supposed too. Then when you call about this all they do is say it wasn't in the notes. That isn't my problem. They refused to try and help in any way so we're in the process of returning our mattress. As you can imagine the customer service to return something is not any better. So disappointed we were really looking forward to having a nice mattress but the customer service alone is worth returning it.
I purchased two twin long mattresses for my parents. They sold it to me the wrong way, so the mattresses kept syncing up together and would always go to the same sleep number setting. The tech department worked on this for over two months which included hours on the telephone with them. They never could resolve the issue, so they picked them up, but charged me a restocking fee! They told me that the $2400 would be refunded to me within 21 business days... already the longest time I've ever waited for a refund. When I was not refunded I called and they said they forgot to do some things on their end and that I have to wait another 10 business days for the refund. I will never work with Sleep Number again.
We bought a sleep number with a 12 year warranty. They do not tell you it is prorated so you have to pay for parts if they go bad. As much as I've paid for this bed, everything should be covered under the warranty very deceitful. Would not recommend to anybody
How much do you value a good nights sleep? Over 20 years ago I started to have neck and back issues, and back then Paul Harvey was advertising what was the call back then the Select Comfort beds.
I purchased my bed back in 1994, and my first mattress lasted 18 years!
Recently because my neck and back issues have become so bad then I decided I needed to get a foundation that would allow me to change positions electronically and I saw them advertising on the TV. I purchased the multiple position bed and it has been a godsend.
So my sleep number bed, along with mypillow.com pillows, have allowed me at least to get a good nights sleep.
If you are dealing with ordinary arthritis even, as you get older, I absolutely recommend this bed!
If you don't like the mattress you will have $500 wrapped up in it by the time you send it back! Forewarning to check every single detail on the contract! There is NO 100 night "free" trial, they leave it the free and use phrases like "WORRY FREE". It is $249 to have it delivered and $249 to pick it up! Sleep Number is an incredibly shady company to do business with and I will be letting everyone know about the $500 trial if you don't like the bed!
Was delivered and installed with a cracked/broken rail. After calling over and over and over and emailing pictures, they do nothing to resolve the issue. We like the bed but for 8,000.00 you would think they would fix such a minor thing! But, they just don't care. I would NEVER recommend them to anyone!
The in store staff was phenomenal and so was customer service online. I am however extremely displeased with the company themselves. They advertise a money back guarantee within 100 days of service but don't tell you about the $500 dollars you have to pay for pickup and delivery that is non refundable. They also don't tell you about the shipping and handling that you are accountable for. We went in to the store hoping we found a bed that would work. Wound up having to take out a $3000 loan and put $800 down on top of it and by the end of all the fees after we returned a bed that didn't work we wound up owing $280 to our loan and no money back in our accounts. This loan is continuing to accrue interest because of the hidden fees. So when it comes down to it we are still paying $1000 on a bed we don't even have.
I was expecting this wonderful nights sleep. It's been about a year now and I'm still waiting. Still waking up as stiff as ever. Then I was sold a mattress pad that crinkles every move you make. The company tried to work with me in the beginning, sending me foam pads and such, I just gave up. It is what it is. I don't recommend it to anyone.
As we were told we could return the bead within 109 days if not happy, we were not told they would charge us for the first delivery and the pick up charges, which came up to about $500. The bed was so uncomfortable and was not what we expected. Still arguing with the credit card about such pathetic charges. Make sure you ask all the terms for the return.
Purchased bed and said would be delivered in 30 days. Date was set and was home. Showed up on time and went set bed up and did not have parts needed for set up. Part ordered and was told by technician they would be back in a day or 2. Customer service called and told us they would not be back for 2 weeks. Now we have a bed in bed in boxes in our bedroom and nowhere to sleep. Terrible device. We bought an expensive bed and we received very poor service.
Answer: For sleep number mattresses...YOU pay for return shipping even though it doesn't cost $249 to ship it back they're going to make money off of it
