I had over $90 worth of prints made including shipping. My wife uses these for cards. The jpeg files I uploaded were from pictures taken by my wife and the overwhelming majority were files we have had printed at least 3 or 4 times before. The snapfish prints were terrible. The color was all washed out. I scanned the images of both our prior prints and the snapfish prints to compare and uploaded to Snapfish during a customer support chat session. The difference was so obvious. It was a waste of time. The technician, Dinesh, would not bother to read what I was telling him. He kept telling me the print will not match the onscreen image. I tried repeatedly to tell him I was comparing prints to prints - not a print to an onscreen digital image. He finally just closed the chat on me and despite me giving my phone number and asking someone to call, he said he would elevate the complaint and they would email me. Snapfish does not give any method of contact for customer service other than a chat. A couple of days later I received a simple email telling me the same thing Dinesh said - the print will not match the onscreen image. I emailed back and told them again that I was comparing previous prints of the same jpeg file printed by Snapfish - not comparing the onscreen digital image. I again asked for a phone call for clarity sake and resolution, but they do not care. Their customer service is as bad as their prints. DO NOT waste your money. No matter how cheap their prints are, it is still a waste when their quality is so very poor.

I was placing my order and realized they charge their shipping rates by the item. Three prints were going to cost me $28 in shipping. Such a scam. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM

I agree with many of the reviews... Used to LOVE Snapfish... the NEW Snapfish is terrible. I am in Canada, does anyone have any suggestions of a new photo prints supplier?

Poor app.

Promotional offers are exciting but when you click the button you are NOT taken to the offer but areas to sell you larger prints etc.

It's the ultimate con offer!

Tip for consumers:
You can never get to the offer page which you have been emailed

Snapfish should remove the barcodes from the products. The placement of the barcode is not the same on the finished product as it is in the review product page. Buyer beware!

I WILL never use this company again. Reviews are 100% correct. SNAPFISH customer service is the worst. I order photo products in large numbers 3 to 4 times a year and know what to expect. This company will not do right by the customer. They use unrelieable delivery services and skimp costs at every corner, they will not track packages if you use free shipping. The tracking number is a hoax. Do not believe you will be able to track your package and do not believe you will see your order in less than a month. If it's lost you basically have to start over. They do not care that you wasted weeks on waiting for the order. DO NOT SHOP AT SNAPFISH! They used to be a much better company with decent customer service. But after 1 hour on the phone with 3 different customer service representatives it is clear Customer Service is not longer going to be reasonable and accountable. There are too many good competitors in this market, I urge you do NOT waste your time on this website, which is pathetic as well, or on this company, You will loose $$$ in many ways and your time will be wasted.

Snapfish WAS excellent. Easy to upload photos, edit them and print. New version has lost some photos, you can't edit them and... at this point I gave up. Just AWFUL.

DO NOT ORDER PRINTS FOR FRAMES FROM SNAPFISH….I ordered 6x8 prints for a standard 6x8 frame. However, prints measured slightly smaller so did not fit the frame. Snapfish advised that this was due to "tolerance trimming" and print sizes were "approximate". So Snapfish prints are therefore useless for standard sized frames. Extremely disappointing

For 6 years ( since the pregnancy / birth of our first daughter) I have used snapfish and loved everything about it!
I order yearly books ( around 150-180 pages) special occasion books ie bdays christenings etc and countless prints). I always wait for the discount codes as the books are so big.
Realised snapfish were launching a new site but never looked at any emails as things upgrade and change all the time. I just assumed it would be a new layout etc!
Gutted and absolutely appalled having just gone onto snapfish to find 3 finalised books totally gone? My whole 2015 book which had christenings bdays memories days out etc. My daughters second year book and our first holiday abroad book. These took soooo much time energy and love. The perfect words / pixs just everything all gone!
Customer services not in the slight bit helpful.
How can one site think they have any right to delete these books? I've been in tears as I do these for my gorgeous daughters to look back on. They are diaries / memories just for them. I put little captions in and everything and spend so much time on these so if God forbid anything ever happened to me my girls have a diary / memory book to look back on with loving words from their mummy.
Don't even know where to begin or what to do other than be heartbroken

"DO NOT ENTRUST YOUR PRECIOUS MEMORIES WITH THIS COMPANY. It is a worthless effort to contact Customer Service, they will tell you anything to get you off the line. This is what happened to me. When Snapfish announced that projects made prior to 2014 would not be moved to their new site, I contacted Customer Service to explain how important some of my projects were to our family, and to see what could be done. Not one, but two different customer service agents told me to rename the older projects that I wanted saved, and they would be moved over. I wanted to verify the instructions and so I called again and spoke with a different Customer Service agent who gave me the same instructions as the first. After the date to move project came and went, I contacted them again when my projects were not moved. I was told to "please give us 2 weeks". That went on several times. After more than 2 months of this they finally admitted they were not moving the projects. What a bunch of liars! What I lost were annual photo journals of my one and only grandchild, and these took hours and hours to create. All gone, callously discarded. How can this company do this to loyal, long time customers? I find the new site to be much harder to use. I probably could eventually get used to it. But I will not deal with unethical people, so I am done with this company for good. Too bad, Snapfish was at one time a great company. In my opinion it has changed a lot. I hope that readers of this review take this information seriously, I wouldn't want to see this happen to anyone else.

They are totally into the "bait and switch" with their home page promos. They say that they are offering 60% off "site-wide" but then when you go to check out they have all these exclusions that definitely were not obvious, and don't give you the discount! So do NOT say SITE-WIDE! Then when I tried contacting them to express my frustration, you cannot get in touch by phone. They want to access your FB profile and my friends list b/f I could access their customer service. I wrote to them on FB and they definitely did not clear up the issue or even a good way to deal with it- rather they said I could just cancel my order. Well that certainly wasn't a real solution. I looked on their site today, and again they have an offer that says it's a certain percentage off "SITE-WIDE" and you really have to dig or know their products backwards and forwards to figure out what is not on sale... but then how is that "site-wide"? I understand not giving the promo if it's an expired code, but if you advertise HUGELY across your website that the offer is on the entire site, well then it should be. And then when a customer tries to make to contact them to explain, then there should be someone you can contact.

In an effort configure an HP printer for ePrint, I attempted to create an "account" and was repeatedly hijacked to a Snapfish login site and urged to sign in using my Snapfish ID.
The Snapfish customer service page offers a link to cancel your account. It doesn't work. Their chat people HAVE NO AUTHORITY and DON'T SPEAK ENGLISH. Evidently HP gave them my email address when I registered my printer. Now they think they own me and are Hotel California. They say they want a shipping address for verification - I've never bought from them and, which of my last six addresses would I give them? They say they want the last 4 of my credit card - I've never given them one and wouldn't recall which card I had given them, and likely it would have changed numbers anyway. They say they'll "get back to me" sometime" - possibly in this lifetime. UTTERLY USELESS TARBABY COMPANY.

The third time I ordered holiday photo cards from Snapfish was a nightmare. The reason I have continued with its user-unfriendly software is the huge discount provided to previous users. The package arrived in 48 hours, complete with envelopes that belonged to another customer. It, apparently, was stupid of me not to plan to use address labels as a precaution. That was part one.

Part two is trying to get help when the company offered NO customer service. Its only phone was off the hook. It was busy at midnight. There was no email shown. Chat never worked and kept spewing the same auto-generated message. I resorted to Facebook and Instagram and decided if these didn't work, I would dispense with cards in 2023. Talk about feeling helpless. Of course, I planned to eventually place the matter in dispute with AmEx fi it was not resolved. Luckily, one of these messages got a response that said everything was automated. Right!

Amazingly, my original order arrived and who knows where it emanated from. Was a human involved? We will never know.

Then someone started hitting me with emails in the horrid Zendesk. It took 15 or 20 responses to shut the person down. He or she wanted a photo of the envelopes, which already had been sent by messaging so Snapfish would know I was not a scammer. I kept telling the person I was not here to sort out his automation issue!

By message 10, it was apparent that this was harassment. I will NEVER order anything else from this outfit! Whoever started it must be rolling in dough and uses cheap automation, instead of hiring people who can rescue customers when things go awry. Well, I don't plan to support such a badly run business.

Tip for consumers:
No one should be without some type of customer service in the event of a problem. They type makes no difference but digital is easiest. If you need a person, then a phone or chat is necessary.

Products used:
I received 40 holiday photo cards with return addressed envelopes.

Devastated! Unfortunately, I have everyone on this post beat as far as horrible experiences go. I have twin 8 yr old boys. I take videos of them all the time and I had over 7000 videos (number is per what the supervisor told me) get deleted by Snapfish. All videos from Nov 2011 through Sept 2014. Every single one of them. Hours and hours worth. I am devastated by this. I always will be. So sad that I cried for the first time in who knows how long. So many precious videos that are gone forever. Priceless. I trusted that they'd take care of them so I didn't back them up anywhere. Their customer service was always terrible, but this is just the worst. To top it off, I received an email from their CEO, Manas Chaliha, saying that they'd give me a 12x12 inch premier layflat photo book, valued at $179.59. That's what you get for coming to this company! They may as well have spit in my face. All of the Christmases, birthdays and other special days/moments are now gone, because a company got careless and just flat out didn't care enough to make sure that this didn't happen. If you're thinking of using them for anything, I strongly urge you not to. Unless you want them to lose your precious moments/valuables and get a worthless 179.59 book in lieu of those. Run as fast as you can from them. This is the absolute worst company. They're owned by Hewlett Packard so you can bet I'll never buy anything with HP on it again. I just got the email telling me this bad news today. Run from them. Very fast!

So there are a lot of disgruntled people out there. Snapfish has taken a huge nosedive in my books. I have used them for years, canvas prints, calendars, mugs, photobooks etc. Just had some photoblocks printed - what a disgrace. They arrived with the edges all peeling, scratches on the front, damaged and mangled corners and damage on the black matt edging, glue spots on the photos. Admittedly Snapfish have agreed to remake them for me - but if this is a sample of their work now, this customer is not impressed.
I too lost a photobook that I had been compiling on the history of my family, hours of research lost. I asked them via online chat if my book was safe and would it be migrated to the new site and was assured more than once that it was fine... then after the allocated time frame it still wasn't there, so back onto online chat only to be told that mine didn't come over because the design I had used had been discontinued. That wasn't correct, they are still supplying the same size black leather album that I had been colating. So back to the drawing board.
Like some others I would like to use another supplier, but Snapfish seem to offer the best editing tools etc especially for photobooks.

Well, after 10 years of brand loyalty, I am a Snapfish customer no more! The NEW Snapfish has NOT improved! I gave the company another chance after a botched summer order because of all of the deals offered. I was skeptical, but I trusted them with my most important order of the year, Christmas cards, and they failed me. It took them 9 days to process 20 flat cards, a simple order, before they were shipped... now I have no time to make any changes if this order is not right. The length of time to process order I've made has been longer than is advertised, my summer order arrived damaged, and the Edit program is unbelievably difficult even though I have been editing photos for years. I spent 30 minutes trying to "change the size" so that I could order 5x7's in addition to the 4x6 photos... the only option I was repeatedly given was to add 4x5.3 photos... not even close to what I needed! The online chat option was useless when trying to resolve my problem as I am told that there are 110 people in front of me... hmmmm, I must not be the only one experiencing problems. Everything that has supposedly "improved" with Snapfish has actually made it a more difficult and time-consuming process. Very disappointing... so long Snapfish, hello competitor!

I never write reviews. However, I am so upset right now with the customer service from this company. I am currently making a photo album of pictures of my little girl who passed away one year ago. I have vacillated between all of the photo apps for months, and I finally chose Snapfish because it got some great reviews online. I was so so so disappointed when I received the 200 pics that I ordered. They were very dark, and many of them had been cropped ( I did not crop them). I double-checked the photos I had uploaded to make sure that I didn't upload low quality pics, and they were all very clear and good quality. After a few chats with different agents at Snapfish, I was able to get an e-mail to send some examples of the unusable photos. I explained to them several times that these photos were very meaningful to me as they were of my little girl that had passed away. This was on Oct 8. I just now (Oct 13) received another email from them asking me to send them more photos as proof. I was about to, but then I realized how horrible these people must be to make me keep sending them their crappy pics of my dead daughter in order for them to keep their stupid 12 dollars that I paid. I just wanted copies of the pics that I uploaded, and instead I got a ton of too dark and unusable pics. I don't expect special treatment because of my daughter dying, but I do expect a quality product. Please don't use this company. They don't care about their customers.

I have used SnapFish for years. Over the years, I have created and ordered 18 different projects. Of the 18 projects, 10 of them have been family calendars that are created by everyone in my family and are distributed at our annual family Christmas celebration. Year after year, I have paid for express shipping and always have had the orders completed by the 10th of December. This year was no different.

We completed our order on December 10th and paid over $100 for express shipping of 24 calendars. The delivery date of 12/20/2023 was given on the order. I noticed that the order was still processing on the 18th and I reached out to SnapFish on the 12/19 to confirm the issue via their CHAT tool (the only way to contact them). I went round and round with them but was assured that the order would ship in time.

On 12/20 I checked the status again and the order was still marked as processing. I spent the next 40 minutes trying to connect with customer service via chat again. Again, I was given the same platitudes and promises. I asked to speak to a manager but was informed that this was not possible.

I still have no resolution to the issue and am left in absolute frustration! I can assure you that I will be looking at other options next year.
