I ordered two Kandy Victorian- Style Chesterfield Velvet Double Sofas from Sofamania.com in the color beige however one half of my order was shipped in the incorrect color light grey. I contacted sofamania.com customer service and after I sent them a few photos of the incorrect product received, they promptly resolved my issue by having the correct sofa color shipped to my home within a couple of days. Thank you sofamania.com team for making this correction as seamless as possible; I will continue to be a return customer ;)
I bought the Amanda model. Besides being super uncomfortable the center caved in after 5 months!it went ot of shaped i am not big or fat person and i live alone either. So disappointed. And the customer service just say sry we couldn't do anything :) totally unfair and the worst experience that i've everhad
So, I ordered a couch from this site. Without reading reviews, I know I know, shame on me. I told my boss and coworkers about it. My boss looked up the site on better business bureau and read reviews within minutes. She came back to ask if I did and told me all the awful, horrible things she read. And the grading was an F' from BBB. So when I got home, I looked it up... and freaked the F out bc I was scared I wasted and lost $450. The reviews all said they got the wrong furniture and it took WEEKS even months to get it. Well, I was tracking mine, and it said 2-4 DAYS. At 2 days it said it shipped but it never moved! It stayed in Indiana! So I got even more worried. HOWEVER, it DID show up in 4 days! I ordered my couch Tuesday, Oct 2 and received it Saturday, Oct 6! I waited and waited all day for FedEx to arrive. She even helped me bring the massive boxes (there were 2) inside my house. I opened the first one cautiously, thinking it was going to be the wrong couch / color... IT WASNT. It was absolutely the right couch and even more gorgeous than the picture! Now, I will admit, they have a weird way of measuring bc when putting pieces together, I did have to make some new holes to make them fit together. But, it came with all the pieces needed and everything! It's lower than it looked in the pic but I'm still super happy! I would def recommend! I took pics but since I'm on my phone, it won't let me add them
My 2 son's wanted me to order a new recliner for my Birthday. They wanted to go with PayPal so they could pay monthly to pay in full on or before the 6 month no interest deadline. Pay pal has been great but your company is a rip-off...
I have Pulmonary issues and I'm on disability. I had an old recliner that had seen better days.
Last week I noticed the new chair was no longer closing from the reclining position
And it was leaning a little to the right. I got on my hands and knees to check under the chair and found that the place where the recliner at first closed easily back into place was now crooked and the leather on the lower leg was being scrapped off! The entire right side of the chair was detached from the base of the chair leaving a big gap. This gap made the legs screw toward the center of the chair and this is why the leather has started to scrape off the inner leg. It's a mess. I did not expect the recliner to just fall apart!
Then I read that I can only return the chair in the original box. Really? Who keeps a box that size sitting around?
I assume I would have to pay the shipping cost to return the chair and insult to injury also pay the 20% restock fee.
I guess I will have to keep my defective chair. We are buying a new house soon and I thought I had found a reasonly priced place to furnish my new home. But I have learned my lesson about you guys... there is a big difference between inexpensive and cheap. I will never order anything from you again and I will make a point to tell everyone I know what a crooked business you guys run.

I purchased two sofachairs from Sofamania's website in mid July. The website promised a 6 week turnaround. I repeatedly sent emails asking for shipping confirmation and was told the product was delayed and they would respond when shipping information was available.
When I requested a cancellation of the order, I was sent a shipping tracking number the next day. When I received the product, I asked for return labels to ship the products back. Initially, I had to send 5 emails and received one shipping label and the promise that FedEx would pick up the product if I called and scheduled a pick up. Upon calling FedEx, I was informed that the shipping label that was sent to me does not qualify for FedEx picking up the item, but that I would have to drive two large boxes of sofachairs to a FedEx facility.
I emailed Sofamania 4 more times to inform that that their own representatives told me in writing that FedEx would pick up the item and they refused to respond or answer my emails. To date, despite my repeated attempts to speak to them, they will not address the return labels, send proper labels or refund my order for a product I cancelled prior to it being shipped.
DO NOT BUY from here, it is a scam. They will keep your money and attempt to tie you up in red tape. Further, their customer service number does not work. You can only email them and you will receive a different person replying every time.

The bedframes they are offering are great! I bought one for my daughter and she loves it. I put the old mattress we were using on it and it is perfect. Great service!
I purchased this mattress for my daughter. It was delivered within the time frame and easy to set up. It took some hours to inflate. The feel and comfort of the mattress is amazing. Previously, i was wondering and having many doubts but based on the reviews i made my decision to give it a try. In the reviews, there was something mentioned regarding the checmical smell which made me worry as my kids have some allergic issues. My daughter was very happy when she slept on it. It was so soft, touch and feel of the item is very amazing. Though there was no smell but there were a small stain which was not clearly visible. I called the support team there and they informed me to try to clean it with a mild cloth or use cleaning agent if stain still persits. I did it and the stain was all vanished. Other than that, there were no issues with the mattress. Everyone loved it and the item is worth of it's price. Highly recommednded mattress, good for resting and sleep after long hours of work. I have just purchased two of MYLA MODERN TUFTED VELVET SPLITBACK FUTON SLEEPER SOFA sleeping. Unfortunately I couldn't sleep even one night. Sofa's base is two part so at the center there are two frame that like hit your back. It is not even seatable.
Buy another one but not from sofamania because if you throw away boxes they dont accept return and if you have box you'll pay %20 return.
I'll asked them for exchange, and send old sofas in new sofas' box, they just told me no! I dont understand how such a big company doesn't have the extra boxes in its warehouse!

I ordered these couches 10 weeks ago and have been promised over and over they would be shipped by certain dates, which have long since come and gone. TERRIBLE customer service.
Whatever you do, do NOT order from these people. You know the expression, "If it sounds to good to be true, it usually is." Definitely true of these folks. I should have listened to my instincts and never ordered from them. I ordered a couch from them and when the wrong color was ordered, I caught it after it had shipped. We managed to reroute it back to them before it was even delivered and they still charged me a 20% restocking fee, which was $60 for a couch I will never even see! I called them and spoke to them about it, and they tried to pass it off as saying their policy is on the website, but it is definitely buried way down in there. And it still doesn't make sense that I should have to pay whe it was the website's fault that the wrong color was ordered. I don't see why I have to pay for an item that I never even saw. All you have to do is put it back on the shelf, no harm, it's not like you even have to repackage it. And stupid thing was I knew it was going to be a crappy couch anyways. I fully anticipated it being one because you get what you pay for and I was not paying a lot for a couch, but I just needed something to last me for a little bit until I could upgrade t ok something better. So definitely do NOT order from these people. The dumb thing is Amazon had the exact same couch for the exact same price and if I had remembered that I could have ordered from them and saved myself 3 weeks of hassle. Never order from these people!

I am a 62 yr old women forced into retirement for health issues.
My sons wanted to buy me a new, smaller recliner for my bedroom. So I shopped around and found Sofamania. I checked the reviews on the website and they were basically all good reviews. I saw no red flags.
I ordered the chair and immediately noticed problems. The chair was fanning out at the arm and the chair at full recline was shorter than my legs and I am only 5 ft 5! I thought these things weren't that bad and the chair was comfortable even though it did not fit the space as well I'd hoped.
About a week in, the chair started bowing at the bottom, where the sides fanning out out made the bottom of the chair bow inward and I could no longer get the chair to close. That is when I noticed that the bottom inside leg had been torn to shreds from closing the chair. Now I had to leave the chair in full recline all the time, creating serious problems with the space management in my bedroom.
I was not happy. I called customer service for several days, left messages no response. I went on the website and found the return policy. The chair could only be returned in the original box! The box had been disposed of weeks ago! I kept calling customer service and finally got a real person on the line. I was told there was nothing to be done without the original box. So I was stuck with this defective chair fanning out on the sides and bowing in on the bottom and the company seemed completely unconcerned with my unhappiness.
I am so disgusted with Sofamania that I want to warn consumers NOT TO BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.

I recieved my ottoman in a seperate package from my couch which should have been my first sign, no tools or anything came with it so I had to wait for the couch part to arrive. Finally the couch arrived and I put it all together, it is easy to put together but feels that way too. Pretty flimsy feeling and doesnt feel like itll last as long as most couches do. Not only that but I realized my couch and ottoman completely didnt even match each other. I figured it would be any easy thing to fix, right? So I sent them pics and was responded with apologies saying that they would be restocked within two weeks. So three weeks pass by, and I contact them again to ask what the holdup is and they say they actually dont know why they told me two weeks cause they have no idea when/if they will be restocked in that ottoman... okay...? Then he offers if I want to mail the ottoman back ON MY OWN DIME, then I will get a refund... like what? It was on my own dime that I bought it the first time and THEY didn't send me the right one. Also this couch is still on their website so either bs'ing about being out of that color or they do know when it's being restocked and just dont care enough about their customers to correct their wrong. Rant over. Take your money and patience to someone who cares about your service and go get you a decent couch!

The absolute WORST FURNITURE COMPANY EVER! The couch i purchased came with missing pieces and no holes for the pieces to be screwed in to assemble the couch. On top of that when I say that the couch i purchased is the most uncomfortable couch you can sit on Im not exaggerating. The rug on my floor is more comfortable to nap on. To make matters even worse. After THREE DIFFERENT SHIPMENTS and finally being able to put together the couch, I let customer service know how UNHAPPY I AM with the purchase and after 32 emails of back and forth. They do absolutely nothing about It. I told them I'm happy to ship back the furniture but obviously need the appropriate boxing and shipping labels because It took them over a month to get the pieces to me that the original box was missing. This is the worst experience of customer service I've ever dealt with. I spoke with over 10 different representatives and none of them help. Do yourself a favor AND DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS STORE. ITS NOT WORTH THE HEADACHE NO MATTER WHAT THE PRICE IS.

I bought 2 of them and now I want to replace 1 of them with the same style but black and of course they discontinued my brand and style.
Never received the full bed. I have gotten the run around for almost 3 wks on the 2nd box. We have been sleeping on the floor for nearly 3 weeks. They literally have no answers and nothing to say other than I'm sorry for your inconvenience and I will get this resolved by the end of the day which never happened and I had to submit another message to find out what was going on. I mean this is so pathetic I know it sounds unbelievable. My husband wanted to return the rails because they are useless without the other 3/4 of the bed in the 2nd box that's missing mind you this is now 11 or 12 days since the 1st box arrived. 2 or 3 days after that they told him they would send a return shipping label reassuring him they would pay the return shipping. When I got the return shipping label email I saw in very light grey font that they will deduct 14.67 from our refund and made a note that seller is not at fault for the return. Why would we need or want a prepaid shipping label if we were going to pay the shipping? It's like they have us trapped! We keep the rails and lose 180 dollars or send them back and have to pay 15 dollars for something we didn't received! Only after I filed a dispute with my credit card company did they offer "a replacement" can't be a replacement if I never had it in the first place! So I purchased another bed right after they spoke to my husband about paying the shipping since we would like to sleep off of the floor and then they slipped that disclaimer in the email. So if I send the rails back it's as though I'm agreeing to pay the return shipping. What a sad and miserable experience all because we wanted a new bed. Absolutely foul business practice. So disappointing!
Small and cheap! Looks good but pretty small. Support leg fell off and hear cracking sounds had about 4 months.
We have been waiting for more than a year for a refund or an apology. They only respond to "good" (people they hired to write good reviews) feedback.
