I ordered two Kandy Victorian- Style Chesterfield Velvet Double Sofas from Sofamania.com in the color beige however one half of my order was shipped in the incorrect color light grey. I contacted sofamania.com customer service and after I sent them a few photos of the incorrect product received, they promptly resolved my issue by having the correct sofa color shipped to my home within a couple of days. Thank you sofamania.com team for making this correction as seamless as possible; I will continue to be a return customer ;)
I bought the Amanda model. Besides being super uncomfortable the center caved in after 5 months!it went ot of shaped i am not big or fat person and i live alone either. So disappointed. And the customer service just say sry we couldn't do anything :) totally unfair and the worst experience that i've everhad
This has been the ABSOLUTE WORST EXPERIENCE Ive ever had in my life and I will be taking this to the CFPB and Better Business Bureau. I ordered a couch and not only did it state it would be delivered on Friday, May 25th, it stated it would also be delivered on May 26th and May 29th AND NOW MAY 30th. Guess what! STILL NO COUCH!

I have reached out multiple times to this company to go about returning the most uncomfortable couch I have ever purchased. It did not only arrive after the timeframe the site promises, they also just left it outside at 8PM without signature. When I opened the box a wood piece was broken although I should've complained about that at the time I did not (huge mistake) being I had already waited for the shipment, I thought I would love the product & I normally am not a review writer or complainer being I too work in customer service. After finally getting ahold of someone on the last day of return the representative informs that because I no longer have the "original" box I was unable to return the item. This company seems to be some fraudulent company who thrives on the fact that they claim to provide a huge discount which I also thought to be true but as speaking with someone over the phone to resolve this issue, she would not transfer me to someone higher to help come to a resolution. Basically, you should expect to keep a box big enough for a couch in your living room for 30 days even when you buy a product expecting to love it. This seems odd to me as I told the woman who was supposedly the "boss" of this entire company as I asked to speak with the highest person & she claimed to be the highest I could speak to although she was solely in CUSTOMER SERVICE. Overall, this is not right that I explained I would pay any shipping costs to ship something I am not happy with back to the sender. She opposed to say that the company they work with to pick up orders would reject my shipment. All of this seems like a fraud company who just takes consumers money thinking they are getting a great product at a discounted price. It is pretty sad. Will never purchase from this company again.

Just a few days back, i ordered recliner chair from SofaMania. Initially I was scared to purchase it online, as i usually purchase furniture from local stores.An aquntent of mine recommended them. I called SofaMania multiple times and spoke to 2-3 different reps there, just wanted to make sure that I can trust thme and made sure that I know about the recliner before ordering it. Reps were helpful, I was convinced that the store is good. Recliner was devilevered by FedEx and was on time. Though everything was just right, packaging, quality, delivery, etc. but there was some issue with the recliner, it was not reclining properly, i called immediately and spoke to the representative about it, i was furious and was yelling at them, I was waiting for this recliner, and when it arrived, it has defect. They immidietly filed a replacement and pickup for me and offered me a 10% off on next purchase for the inconvinience. I was nor sure and wanted a refund, but they insist that I should opt for a replacement and i will not regret. Replacemet arrived within a few days and pick was done promptly, replacement is working fine. I had issues with them initially but they were able to resolve them in time and that put them in my good books. I am recommending sofamania for their products, pricing and service quality.

I recently ordered a sectional sofa to go in my master bedroom. I've seen plenty of 5-star and 1-star reviews. I thought I'd throw my real-world 2 cents worth in.
Everyone let's have a reality check. Sofamania is nothing more than an ordering site they do not stock merchandise, they do not produce merchandise. They do nothing more than aggregate orders until they have enough to bulk purchase from some manufacturer. That being said
1. Look at how long they say it's going to take to get your merchandise. If it says 3-6 weeks, figure 4-8 weeks. Be prepared, if you need to have something for the family to sit on next Thursday, you probably shouldn't order from here.
2. I see a lot of reviews complaining about quality of the merchandise people, really, if it's a sofa for $200 and the next cheapest one you see is $500, think about it.
3. Size reviews wanting to return because "it's child sized". Honestly, I'm middle aged, I learned how to use a tape measure is this a skill that's lost on millennials?
4. Be prepared to loseI was prepared to have an order
A. Not fulfilled
B. Drag on for weeks
C. Show up damaged
D. Show up missing pieces and I was prepared to cancel, cancel, cancel
5. Given the reviews, figure a 50/50, maybe 40/60 chance of getting your item on time, undamaged. Can you live with that?
So, for me, I purchased a sectional
1. It said 2-4 weeks when I ordered, shipped 2 weeks 2 days, showed up 2 weeks 6 days
2. Quality was fine for my expectations duh $250. Showed up with all pieces/parts
3. I did not expect this sectional to seat 10 college football players I found it in the first place by Google searching "small apartment-sized sectional" and again, I can use a tape measure
4. I was prepared to cancel the entire order even after waiting weeks for it not everyone has the luxury of time/money, I get that (should probably look somewhere else.) Box showed up damaged, luckily the contents weren't
5. I rolled the dice and won It came in a reasonable timeframe and was what I expected.
Solid 3/4 I got what I wanted with relatively little hassle.
Decide what you can live with.
I ordered two couches from them one came ok and the other came damaged and when I called them when I received the damaged chaise during business hours that morning the companys phone number goes straight to a voicemail for days, Im like what kind of real Company never answers there phone during business hours at 9am. So it took almost a week to reach them. And when they finally responded back thru emails they told me I had to send pictures of the damage furniture which I did and I told them I didn't like and it was damaged and when they responded back I was told it would be a 20% charge to return a item I didn't like but since it was delivered damaged I would receive a full Refund due to the damage. But they lied they still took a 20% fee on the price of the chaise claiming all of sudden there was a return fee for 20% and a coupon fee with was used for two couches not one. They are ripping people off for their money,. DON'T BUY FROM THEM BEWARE! I WOULDN'T NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE I KNOW..

I sympathize with those of you stuck with a damaged item. It's ridiculous how inept these people are. I received my love seat on the 5th and couldn't wait to get it set up. But when I opened the box the first thing I saw were the two large holes in the black Velcro lining. I stopped immediately. I had no intention of keeping something that was damaged. I saw the number to call on the box and called 3 times and left one voicemail. I took photos and emailed them to sofamania. I was unfamiliar with how often this happens so I initially asked them to send a replacement thinking this was an isolated incident. I soon realized they had no intention of calling me back or responding to my emails, so I called Fed Ex and they offered to file a claim. They specified what photos they wanted so I took more, emailed them to Fed Ex and sent the additional photos to sofamania. I scheduled a pick-up for the next day, taped the box back up and within 24 hours of receiving it, I was rid of it. Fed Ex was great; within minutes of telling them about the damage and that the box was not even dented, and the "packing material" consisted of that flimsy white lining that was useless, they made all arrangements and emailed a recap of my claim, etc.
Yesterday, 9/6/18, I finally got an email from "Vanessa." Basically: "Thanks for the photos, what's the tracking number?" WHAT? No "oh, sorry for your inconvenience. We will send another love seat or credit your card, whatever we can do to make this right" Nothing, complete indifference. That said it all. I replied asking for a full refund and wanted to know who she was since she failed to explain her position. I won't hold my breath for a reply. I then called my bank and explained all of the above and they credited my account for the total I paid. I'm fairly sure once the product is returned to the vendor, or never received, refused, or 6 weeks late, etc., they can't withhold our funds. I really find these reviews disturbing in their volume of similar stories. It's reprehensible a company can be so apathetic and dishonest.
And to the person who saw the product on Amazon. I did the same thing, I looked elsewhere for the love seat and saw it there but I personally believe it's the same vendor just using a different name, Furniture Mania - ph: *******199. The number I called to report the damaged love seat was *******198. Not to mention, they're both located in Vernon, CA.

For the most part our items are shipped though FedEx at your door and in the case of an apartment building, they will be delivered at the building's manager office/mail room/leasing office or lobby. Have in mind that freight (the big stuff) items are curbside delivery only, which means that the carrier/driver is not responsible for in-house delivery and/or any required assembly. Make sure neighbors, family and/or friends are there to assist you if needed.
