STAY AWAY FROM SPRINT!
February 29, 2020

I was with sprint for 18 years, had a family plan with several lines, 2 kids out of college and decided to explore other options, the lease options were expensive, I didn't need anyway So I called customer service to ask what my charges were going to be if I I transferred two lines to Staight Talk, after THAT I was put on hold for hours on end, transferring me to different reps. Over 3 thousand dollars later, I never heard of some of the charges or lines that they told me about! They are nice if you can understand the CSR, but if you ever try to downsize and cancel the account altogether. WARNING
Corporate greed, they will get every penny from you. Good companies should support loyal customers who are trying to find inexpensive carriers, with less lines. Leased phones are horrible, especially with Sprint, you'll never get out until YOU PAy!

Sprint has a Customer Disservice team who cannot see the forest in the trees. They have spent more money, time, and personal frustration by not addressing 2Brand New Defective Phone when i called them about the problems in the first week. Their answer Geek Squad should replace the New ones hat NEVER WORKED RIGHT WITH USED REFURBISHED ONES! Bad news, i talked my husband into going ith Sprint, dumb on my part!

Crooks
June 19, 2020

When i returned from my service as a united states Marine in 2010. I was looking for a wireless service provider to connect me to my family and friends in my community. After much thought and persuasion from others to actually get a cellular device. So in 2012 I decided to go with Sprint due to their cheep plans and flexible payment options for devices. I have had nothing but issues with this "service" over these past 8 years. Trying to be a loyal customer with hopes that the promises of better coverage would materialize has brought nothing but grief, frustration and overall disappointment. Besides all of this, My service was disconnected due to non payment after a month on 5/03/2020. 1 month prior i had received an email which stated a guarantee that no ones service would be interrupted due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This was not the case so in order to reconnect with friends and family during this difficult time i was forced to pay a past due amount of $98 to get my service reactivated. This is absolutely unacceptable on a big companies part to pray on people for their financial instability during these trying times. I am preparing a petition to boycott sprint as well as putting this same review on ALL social media sites to get the message out. Crooks!

A disgrace
January 10, 2018

I called about new phones with the Sprint offered loyalty discount from a Sprint mailer. The salesperson at Sprint explained that I could also save money if I changed plans. I listened, got a total, and went over the amount 5 times. I was re-assured 5 times that the information was correct. When I received my bill, there was no loyalty discount. Upon calling sprint I was informed that the new plan I had did not qualify for the loyalty discount. When I talked to the supervisor, whom had the notes of my original conversation, informed me that the sales person was mistaken, and there was nothing he could do about it, and the supervisor of the employee that lied would be informed. "SOUNDS LIKE WELLS FARGO BANK".
So I am done with Sprint after over 20 years. Supervisors name is: AUSTIN Phone customer service person: TONY

If you care about ethical business practices, do NOT switch to sprint. I was with T-mobile for 7 years and switched to avoid increases in data plan rates. Worst mistake. For 2 months in a row I made arrangements to move my automatic drafts to the 1st and for 2 months they erroneously withdrew money a week early. After accruing $35 in fees the second time, I asked them what they were going to do to fix their errors. They agreed to credit back my payment, but in 3-5 business days, which did NOTHING to help my financial situation. They made no effort to credit the $35 penalty, and no effort to keep me as a customer, after speaking with 4 different representatives over 2 hours, which I don't think I've ever had to do. T-Mobile has terrible coverage, but at least they 'care' about doing right by their customers. Now I'm stuck in a lease (after having traded in a perfectly good iPhone 6 to avoid an installment plan and thus a lease!) And they are refusing to take back the phones and cancel a lease that I'm not even supposed to be on. I just want to be done with what is, in my experience, the worst mobile phone company with the worst customer service, and I have no options here.

I took out 6 phones and had an 18 month plan. Once I finished paying for 18 months I decided I didn't want to stay with Sprint because of coverage issues. I come to find out that if I want to keep the phones I have to "pay off" the phones. They tell me I can pay it off in 6 more monthly installments so that I do not have to come-up with all the money at once (since it is 6 phones). Funny thing is, they forget to mention that my discounts had all expired and that I won't be getting any discounts. My bill all of a sudden increased by $200.00. Unbelievable. It is all a scam. They give people new phones and discounts to make people think they get a good deal but if you don't get good coverage and do not want them as your carrier you are practically forced to either give back the phones that you paid for for 18 months or upgrade and stay with the company (unless you have a $1,099 spare change lying around during a pandemic like in my case). Sprint, wow, I just can't believe how low the company stoops to make a profit. No wonder more people are choosing to go with pre-paid plans.

My Fiance and I switched to Sprint from AT&T because the place we moved to in Monmouth County had horrible reception. We saw that Sprint had a pretty good deal for leasing a phone and data plan so we switched and the sales associate we were with explained if we wanted to cancel at anytime we could. The cell service was HORRIBLE and we ended up canceling our plan. When we returned the phone we were hit with a $1,000.00 bill for canceling our phone lease early. Well we did not know that since the Sales Associate at the store failed to mention that important piece of information. When I called customer service they said it was my fault that I should have known. THIS COMPANY IS A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY. We ended up switching to Verizon and they are much better.

Promotion scam
March 1, 2017

I bought a phone from Sprint (in store)at Christmas time and they have a special going for a free VR headset for new customers, it was a day or two after the promotion but they said that they had extended it, all you had to do is call this # in and give them the information and they would send it to you. After getting the phone and making several phone calls to try and get my new VR headset that they said they did not have it in stock in store i was informed that that was the store's responsibility and not there's. So to make a long story short they screwed me out of the VR headset in order to get my business. So if you go to Sprint to get a phone and they say that they don't have the product in stock on hand for you DON'T SIGN ANYTHING! It's a scam to get your business and once you signed up their opinion is sorry for your loss. SPRINTS WILL SCAM YOU. BEWARE!

Honestly, I didn't want to give 1 star but there is no choice. I have experienced one of the horrible customer services till now. I have been trying to resolve the problem for past 4 to 5 months and still, no one has addressed my issue. First, the Sprint agent cut off my line without no reason and billed me almost $2500 to my account. Second, I had purchased the plan with BUY ONE AND GET ONE FREE, so I bought 2 phone and received 2 for free, the time that they disconnected my account without any valid reason and once I called the customer services department to active my account, which they did, but they disconnected my promotion. Now I am trying to resolve this problem and it has been almost 5 months, still, no one has addressed this problem. Every month I get the high balance and every month I have to give them a call tell the same story again and again. I am very very very very disappointed with the sprint customer service. Please anyone who is new to Sprint. Please be careful. My advice to you all is not to be a part of the sprint. I have already planned to move my account to different service once my contract is over. DON"T Fall under there flashy promotion which you all might suffer as I am suffering. I don't know what to do now. Please, I need some advice!.

I have been using Sprint since last two years.
Sprint sometimes make changes in my account without my knowledge.
Last time they activated some unlimited plan without my request, and i had to call them and cancel that. After that they activated my international calling even without my request.
I was not aware of that, one day i made international call thinking i am making a web call. At the end of the month i got a bill of 550$(Previously when i try to make international call it says you are not authorized). When i tried to call the international customer care department to ask how it happened. Those people are very rude and arrogant. And they are saying you made the call and you have to pay the bill and some unrelated answers. One representative said we can not guarantee that we can block international calling ever after your request. Which does not make any sense to me. They are never answering the question 'why did you activate my international calling'. I am frustrated with the team, All the days they said the investigation is going on, We will get back to you which never happened.
If it does not get solved in next two days then we have to switch to another carrier.
What type of customer service you have SPRINT?

Terrible company
November 15, 2019

Sprint has been the worst. Company I have ever had to deal with. I would give them 0 stars if it was an option. They offered promotions when we first signed that "expired" and we were never told they expired. If ever spoken to on the phone they were always short and never any help with explaining or helping us understand the bill. This is why we switched to Verizon, we were explain everything about our bill before we signed, had wonderful customer service, and Verizon has made us so happy in the short time we have been with them. The bill is only about $10 more per person but is well worth the money to get the new phone, unlimited service, and much better customer service. They even offered an inconvenience credit when we had issues getting our phones and bill right. Sprint has never offered this nor given a first time fee waived. They come up with charged ive never seen on any other network and are no help when we had issues with our phones, service, or bill. BY FAR THE WORST EXPERIENCE IVE EVER HAD!

I switched to Sprint 2 months ago. Not only were we flat out lied to when we signed up in store we've also been straight up lied to by tech support and their billing department. We were told we were required to buy phone insurance for a minimum of 3 months, but when we revived our (2) Galaxy S10's and one of them had hardware issue 2 weeks later, we were told we did not have insurance and to contact Samsung. I was told twice by their tech support that they would send out a replacement over the phone and 3 times by the store they fixed the insurance issue. They did not put int he replacement order for t he phone once and told us it was on the way the second time and I found out that they denied the "phone that was on the way." I eventually got it fixed over a 5 hour phone call where I kept escalating it up the ladder and yelled at everyone I think worked there. We were supposed to get their unlimited premium plan for a discounted rate for the 1st 3 months, but that never happened and I've been trying to get our planned switched to unlimited basic for 2 months now and they still keep messing that up. They keep saying its fixed, but our bills and MySprint site says otherwise. I've been working on it today and it seems It's fixed, but it's been a real headache and draining. The service has been fine since now we roam on the tmobile network and the plans and phone prices are good. I would never use this company again or recommend it to anyone.
