1 star customer service. Changing my service after 8 years. Waste of money never again will I recommend.
Their customer service is horrible. Their cell service is even worse. It is by far the slowest service you can get. In Metro Detroit, I get 1Mbps download and 0.04Mpbs Upload speed. Unbelievable
Unreliable and never follow through with promises! From day one of starting Service with this company, I have been lied to! When I started services the representative told me that I should have excellent signal because they feed off of the same cell towers that Verizon customers feed off of. Well my signal was terrible! I always had one maybe two bars at best in very populated city areas! When I would call their customer service department with any kind of issue they would always make a promise the they would never follow through with! And not only that, but when I would call back to follow up with a promise that was made to me, they would always reply back with something along the lines of, "Hmm. I don't know what that representative was talking about or why they would promise you that because we don't do that..." Or they would say they were going to do something and never followed through with it. Example would be; I had asked for them to pull a phone call of a promise that was made to me on a previous phone call and the representative said that he would put in the request and get that started. Well, a week goes by I didn't hear anything so I called back and talked to another representative and she said I don't know why but he did not send this request up, so I will do that now and make sure this gets done for you. So now here I sit, still no responses, no phone calls and no emails and still yet broken promises! Another thing is I was told that my bill would only be $63 a month, but I ended up paying over $100 a month for their services that were crappy. No one there is on the same page, no one knows their head from their tail. In other words their left hand doesn't know what their right hand is doing! Please do me a favor and save yourself the headache! Hope this helps you all, I strongly strongly strongly strongly do not recommend this company ever, to anyone!

I recently decided to join my boyfriends Sprint family plan. The complete idiot at the store did not bother to find out how many gigs of memory my old phone was (an iPhone 5-S with 64 gigs) and sold me and iPhone 6-S with 16 gigs of memory. Right around that same time, I also bought a new MacBook Pro.
Everything that could have gone wrong did go wrong. It took me over 40 hours of speaking with an APPL advisor because both my computer and my phone kept giving me error messages that I didn't have any iCloud storage. How could that be? Both were new and don't they typically make newer models with more storage?
Either way, it took nearly 3 months and hours upon hours speaking with APPL associates to finally light upon the fact that my old 5-S had 64 gigs of iCloud storage. When we finally sleuthed out that the phone was the problem. Sprint balked at having to take the phone back. We had to fight with them for hours because they said we couldn't return a phone after 14 days had gone by.
Now, they have agreed to change out the phone but only at considerable cost and inconvenience for us. I'm continuing with Sprint for the meantime since my boyfriend already has 5 other lines on his Sprint account.
HOWEVER! No one cared that I have been doing NOTHING but struggling with my phone for 3 months and it was the sales person's fault because I told him I wanted the phone with the highest amount of memory, but he still sold me one that had practically no memory.
SPRINT is run by by a bunch of infantile dolts who don't know anything about anything. OMG! What a complete disaster.
Every month I have to fight with sprint to understand why I am being charged between 230 and 265 a month for one phone promoted at 35 a month but I get charged 56 a month PLUS TAX again monthly after I paid 190 in taxes up front for my devices a FREE tablet that is costing me 50 a month and a sprint drive 5 a month plus 15 extra I wasn't told about for 2 gb data at time of purchase That is seen as a LEASE in my bill. Then They add 7.99 participation fee almost 50 in more taxes and billing charges surcharges and taxes and I literally pay more for these devices than for my car payment and full comprehensive insurance each month and its not what I was told up front and 3 x what I paid for similar service and devices thru tmobile when I switched and now t mobile IS SPRINT but I dont see anything resembling a change that indicates any benefits if the merger I still regret going to sprint and cant wait to end the contract I was told I didn't sign up for for service and am trying to find an alternative carrier who isn't going to keep billing me 10 full pages of fees serves discounts taxes participation fees flex spending limits confusing promotional discounts lease options and on and on and on with no clear ability to see how they can justify 240 a month and more for 1 device 1 FREE tablet and unlimited data on one device. I am 65 and paid 35 for 2 lines of unlimited data before sprint. Someone needs to investigate these corrupt greedy ceos and their abusive deceptive billing practices
I ordered a new phone and was told it would come with a SIM card. I got it the next day which was expected but it didn't have a SIM card and getting one ordered was a very horrible and difficult experience. It wasn't supposed to be hard but after 8 days, and over 10 hours of talking to their so-called specialists, who I couldn't understand and they didn't seem to understand me or what I needed so they kept transferring me, way to many times to count. I still don't have my SIM card after being told numerous times that it was ordered and on the way. Their employees don't seem to be on the same page and I got really frustrated by having to keep repeating myself.
Last night I talked to 2 women that seemed to understand what I needed and were great. They ordered me a SIM card with expedited shipping. So I still don't know if it will come but I'm really hoping so. They should screen their employees better because I was told 3+ separate times that a SIM card was on its way and it never came. It should have been easy because it was their mistake and everything about my order should have been filed away and obviously there filing system needs a lot of work. I have a new phone that all I can do is stare at and I am not happy with sprint. I understand about the COVID-19 but I have had plenty of problems in the past before that was an issue, but those problems would have to be in another review. I've been with sprint since 2004 but if I don't get my SIM card I am done with them because I shouldn't have to be stressed about something as simple as getting my phone going.
Worse decision ever! I wish I never ever signed a 2 year contract with them... way overpriced... and horrible service!
I wish I could leave a zero stars. Worst customer service ever. We bought our phones 2 yrs ago on the promo that sprint would pay off existing phone contract with Verizon. BIG MISTAKE. NOT THE SAME COVERAGE AS VERIZON. ALSO 2 YRS LATER, my contract with Verizon has not been paid off and my credit score has been dinged. We have called, and called and called. Sprint is exceptionally well verse and train all their higher up managers in the proverbial runaround. Each manager has referred us to another. Several have agreed they owe us and went it gets passed to the next level to have the refund for payment to Verizon approved, it has to go through ALL THE STEPS AGAIN and no manager seems to have the ability to confirm the payment and account adjustment. A catch 22.2 yrs later, No contract pay off to Verizon, no resolve even with all the transcripts of conversations of the agreed payoffs, etc, nobody but NOBODY will or can make the account adjustments.
Added frustrations. When the phones had issues, there wasn't a tech in Idaho to fix the phones without sending back to company and getting a refurbished back, we had to drive to Utah to get our phones fixed twice while sprint was waiting for a train tech to join the Idaho mess and confusion that is Sprint
NEVER NEVER NEVER TRUST SPRINT. ESPECIALLY when they say they will pay off your existing contract with a competitor. Or their service is a % of Verizon. Still a big gap in reliable service
SPRINT THE WORST CELL PHONE COMPANY EVER!
We have been with sprint less than 6 months, have paid our bill every month, this month they decided they needed to take our bill our 3 times from our checking account and on top of that they also debited 75.00 from our account as well. Our total bill due was $198.80 which they took 3 times... and then also $75.00 total that's $671.40. Now I don't know about everyone but we clearly can't afford to pay that for 1 phone bill. So when I called they said they would refund it to our account. Well they refunded 1 payment and the 75.00 but not till 5 days later and of course because i'm not rich the other payment was denied because I pay my bills to the penny like most people on a fixed income. Then they decided now that they still have 2 payments that we haven't paid our bill at all. So your telling me the $397.60 of our money that you still have doesn't cover our original bill of $198.80? How the hell is that. So now i'm calling again and the customer service rep has no idea what he's doing and just keeps telling me I was refunded everything I paid and that I still owe $198.80, wow just wow. So he says if I still have a problem I can file a dispute. I'm like ok well lets do that because i'm clearly not paying you anymore money, so they dispute lady calls me after 10 days and leaves a message that the when the bank retried the payment that was declined ( the now 3rd payment) they have that it was already refunded so it's still a wash and I still owe them $198.80... I indeed to cancel my sprint and I hope everyone else does the same. This is the most rude, unorganized, hateful $#*!s I've ever dealt with, and I sincerely hope they loose all their customers.
So I've been a customer with Sprint almost 10 years. I have six lines on my account not once have I missed or faulted on any payments. So on December 20th 2018 I called in because my husband lost his phone in concrete and I knew he was on installment payments but did know for how many more months they had told me 6 months I had to pay 195$ I was fine with that but I didn't pay it because I wanted to see if the phone would turn up but it didn't so I call today December 28th to cancel out the phone and there changing The story now they're saying I have 11 months to pay instead of the six months they originally told me. I tell them since all calls are recorded for training purposes for them to go back and review my conversation on December 20th all they can do is apologize and they are not willing to acknowledge what was said on December 20th. They don't appreciate there customers and as soon as all my lines are out of contract I'll be telling them to take the $#*!en $#*! Worst customer service ever and their service sucks $#*!!
Their map claims coverage in my area, but that's a lie--even in the capital city of my state, NO coverage!

My phone bill with two phones paid off just two lines is suddenly $330.00. Sprint is a huge rip off.
DO NOT SWITCH TO SPRINT. They have the absolute worst customer service I have ever seen in my life. I went to the tiffin oh store switching from t- mobile and it was the worst decision I have ever made. The customer service reps that work for the store in tiffin are awful just as well as the call support team. No one cares once you are locked in a contract. All they care is that they get the sale and your money. I was promised that sprint would have multitasking ( where you can use LTE and be on a phone call at the same time) and here we are months later and sprint will never have that capability.
To make matters even worse Sprint decided one day that they were going to change my plan without my authorization and charge me 30$ more a month just bc they felt like it. When I spoke with an agent on why this change happened they could not tell me. I have spent countless hours each day complaining about how each line on my phone cannot use our phone due to the service and they just give me the sad excuse that the area looks fine and pretty much I should just get over it. It has got so bad that I have had to file a claim with the BBB in order so have someone listen to me.
For anyone who us looking to switch to sprint please save yourself the pain, time and effort and DO NOT SWITCH.
Sprint locks you into a contract and even if you want to return the phones and be done bc your phone service doesn't work they want 3000$ in cancellation fees.
I am not one to complain but it has got to the point where people need to know.
All I could ever ask for is a phone plan that works and my calls don't fail every time. It is not too much to ask for a working service. I will continue to post bad reviews of this company everywhere I can and continue to call until someone listens to me.
I switched from Tmobile to Sprint recently and got the BEST DEAL on both my plan and my new phone... AND... they cut my bill in half!

They charged my bill even though my phone wasn't activated. So I had a pay a total of &106 for my phone that didn't even have service.
My bills have been double I have for devices three of them don't work and the only thing they can tell me is they need an update or I can pay $275 per device to go through the insurance. Everytime I call I get hung up on or I have to explain everything to somebody and they tell me that they will put me through to a supervisor then they hang up on me or they will tell me they are getting everything worked out they're going to place me on hold and then the phone begins to ring in somebody answers that knows nothing about anything going on. I was actually sold a device from a Sprint store that did not belong to a Sprint store they basically said the guy sold it to me out of the trunk of his car and that they would not warranty it because it was not their product. Unbelievable I do not know what to do I've spent 12 hours on the phone consistent hours and still don't get my problem solved. It's pretty much as if they are just toying with their customers and laughing on the other side. How bad can we make this guy's day that should be their motto. If any attorneys or anybody sees this they could help me out please I've got recorded phone calls I've got it all I have never dealt with anything like this this is insane to me I'm supposed to pay 400 a month and every month my bill is $600 - $800 for 3 phones and a pocket Wi-Fi. I have been calling them for the last 6 months about my pocket Wi-Fi being broke I can't get an answer or can I get any help I just get hung up on or rerouted to the next guy and then it repeats itself hung up on or routed to the next guy. Please please please do yourself a favor and do not go through Sprint it is not cheaper I used to be with Verizon and now my bill is over $200 more than what I paid with Verizon when I joined Sprint to cut my bill in half. If I could give zero stars I would! I never leave reviews but after my experiences this past week I feel that I must! I had to speak with 4 different reps over a span of 5 days JUST to get a line cancelled, but was informed it won't take effect until OCTOBER we're in AUGUST why can't the line be cancelled by the end of this month or at least the beginning of September?! So I have to pay for another line IM NOT EVEN USING & during this time I also wanted to pay off an accessory I had leased - upon confirmation today (this payment was done Monday) I find out that they put the money towards my entire bill and not the accessory itself so it's showing that I still have to pay each month for it. Come on Sprint I asked for a simple thing. & to put the icing on the cake I tried to change plans since We now have only 1 line and qualify for the $35 55+ plan they're telling that's with T-Mobile only... BUT YOU GUYS ARE MERGED NOW? && another line I had on this plan wanted to switch to T-Mobile and encoubtered problems trying to transfer the Phone number over - BECAUSE THEYRE NOW MERGED soooo? What are you guys telling me? Are you merged or not? Sprint has a bunch of morons running the customer service lines it's ridiculous- I'm not asking for much just pay off my AirPods & cancel a line. I already returned the device to you so why keep charging me for services I'm NOT USING. Seriously, I'm cancelling my account after this and switching to T-Mobile brand new.
