My company ships a lot of media mail (music books). With the USPS, we have to take the packages to the local post office. They won't allow you to print media mail labels on their USPS website. However, with Stamps.com, we are able to print the labels and the postal carrier picks up the package and scans it on the spot. This saves us a lot of time and money constantly driving back and forth and standing in line! The other Stamps.com options are great. I recommended Stamps.com to everyone we know. We have added a photo below and blocked out the owner's address for privacy.
$19.99 monthly fee is not to receive stamps but it's a charge just to have a open account with them. Paying this monthly you do not receive any stamps. I thought I was buying $19.99 worth of stamps. Who would want to spend $19.99 a month for just a open account best to just go to the post office and spend only what you purchase. Unbelievable this is a rip off

Tip for consumers:
This site is easy to use. We had no problem adapting to Stamps.com. Their customer service is great should you ever have to use them.

We use first-class labels and media mail labels.
I have been a daily user since 2009, combining orders from Amazon, eBay, Etsy and my web store. As the STAMPS.COM company grew through acquisitions and mergers (e.g., Endicia), the stability of their technical platform has gone downhill. Every software update that I have installed over the past 2 years has had bugs, many of them serious. Getting to speak with a second tier technician takes at least 30 minutes and once the bugs are identified, you have to wait until the next software release for it to be fixed. Of course that next release is likely to have its own new bugs. Pathetic Quality Assurance and very frustrating as a user.
I have been using Stamps.com since the early 1990's. When my parents died in 97, I was able to send out a lot of Thank You notes without looking for stamps. When my daughter graduated from college, I was able to send invitations and Thank You notes without looking for stamps. It is so convenient. The best there is.

Great program. Easy to use. Saves time and effort. Without it, We would be spending a great amount of time traveling back and forth to the post office to buy stamps With Stamps.com, we're able to get our outbound mail into the postal system faster, and customize out appearance as well, improving our business and professionalism.
Great app. Easy to use and very convenient. I'm wheelchair bound so I don't get out but I'm active with my computer- Stamps.com is just right.
When I first got into Stamps.com, I got it for what was then my business, HartBeat Vending, LLC. It was great then for printing out stamps for mailings. Now I still use it for my personal mail, e.g., when I mail my rent checks to my landlord, I use it to print out the envelope with the address and postage on it. It works out great, as I don't need to go to the Post Office to get stamps, etc. I can just print them out on my computer, or print an indicia directly onto the envelope. I love this program.
I probably was not careful and had a trial subscription or something, and apparently I was charged a lot every month. I learned about it only after I changed my credit card and stamps.com started to send me emails that they cannot charge the subscription, but what's unusual is that they still consider it me owning them money (normally they would not start subscription if it not pre-paid), and keep asking me to pay what "I own them". This is the first time seeing such weird interpretation of subscription service. This is very dangerous to deal with them, stay away!
I am an attorney with a solo practice who was totally fed up with our local post office where I used to spend far too many hours waiting in line.Stamps.com allows me to produce professionally appearing stamped envelopes in seconds and to replenish my stock of postage just by the click of a computer button. Over the years I have had many conversations with stamps.com customer service people and have found them to be unfailingly knowledgeable and courteous. Stamps.com offers an ingenious, time-saving improvement to my work life. It is money well-spent!
This company has HORRIBLE customer service. If you close your account they hold all your previous information hostage and you have to talk to someone from India to try to get any of the information back They don't tell you this so there is no way to download it BEFORE you close the account. They are expensive. Got to Pirate Ship the service is FREE.
Their site is very frustrating to work with. Slow. My contacts often do not come up. It will tell me my billing info is incorrect even though it is. Ugh!
Tip for consumers:
Patience is a must when dealing with this website. That and alcohol!
We find our self using shipping easy way more often than stamps.com due to there site being so slow and always being glitchy on our computer we start at stamps and then once it don't change pages or glitches we move to our other services. We downgraded to a cheaper plan to give it a longer chance but soon we will be fully closing the account why pay for a service I can get free. At another company with same rates.?
It is very nice to be able to sit at your computer, snowy and icy outside, or hot an unbearable, and I can print my own stamps any time, in any quantity. To not go to the post office and wait sometimes in long lines, especially during holidays, to just have the postman pickup mail/parcels right at my front door is great. Excellent service. Thank you.
You pay a small monthly fee for access to their site and the postal scale they provide you. You can buy ALL your supplies online from them: postage, labels, Priority labels, even Christmas stamps! Saves me so many trips to the Post Office. Not to mention, the discounted rate on the postage just for being a customer! I have used this service for many years now and highly recommend their wonderfully convenient service!
Tip for consumers:
If mailing is part of your business in any way, I recommend you use Stamps.com!

I struggled with a postage meter for years, lots of mechanical and technical issues and lack of service from the meter company. Then there was the outrageous fees associated with rental. After a meter malfunction, delay in getting a service tech out for repair, and extra postage spent on trip to the PO I switched to Stamps.com. Perfect solution for my small business!
Stamps.com has been a life saver for our non-profit organization. It was exhausting printing out address labels, return address labels, and adding stamps that required a group of volunteers to handle a sizeable mailing every month. It can now be done all in one shot directly on envelopes. The only drawback is the ability to print on post cards, not available on my MAC PC, that would be a welcome option.
Stamps.com has been my mail method for over 13 years. I love the convenience they prove as well as superior customer service.
We just started using Stamps.com and after sending out two books we're very pleased with the convenience and the professional look of our labeling and package.
Tip for consumers:
Make sure you do some test printing before using the labels in part to make sure that your laser printer has enough ink and that you get a clear copy.

We are using the shipping labels SDC 1200, because we have an online book business
FOR TWO YEARS they managed to sneakily bill me monthly for their services by not giving me any kind of access to a billing history, an email about a monthly plan/bill etc. The way they hide this charge is by using their service and printing labels you have to add funds to your account, so whatever CC you have linked is being charged a handful of times every month, so even if you're closely checking your statements you can miss the monthly "charge" since no invoice or bill is ever actually sent. This company has managed to snake $500 in "monthly fees" from me all because I missed the fine print when signing up, and is allowed to charge customers without sending any correspondence about these monthly charges as LITERALLY EVERY MONTHY SERVICE I"VE EVER USED has.
Furthermore, they don't actually offer any unique pricing, the interface is horrendous, the site crashes every couple weeks, the customer service is horrendously slow, and completely useless. The servies they offer can be accessed for free by using the websites that offers the shipping themselves, it was very slightly convenient to have it all in one place but for $20 a month, this is a joke. Now when trying to at least close my account to prevent any further rip-off, they don't allow you to cancel it through their site. They force you to call them and I've now been on hold for 15minutes with no ETA when someone will answer. I will be contacting my credit card company now and am considering what legal actions can be taken against them.

I've been using Stamos.com for several years and I DO like the convenience. But 2 points:
First when attempting to print postage for a unusual mail piece the program tells me to print the postage in form such and such. I am very willing to order a small supply of whatever form is suggested, but I'm unable to find an reference to such a form number when attempting to order same.
Second, My mailing needs have become smaller over the past couple years and I very disappointed that you do not offer a reduced monthly cost for the tiniest mailers, I. E. Me!
I don't know what I ever did before I had Stamps.com. It is so convenient for me, saves me money AND time, LOTS of time. I appreciate being able to get all my postage for all my packages and letters in one place and not having to waste time at the Post Office. I have not had the need to contact customer service so I can't rate that part of the business. I appreciate the quick shipping when I need supplies as well. I will continue to use Stamps.com for my business AND personal postage needs.
I don't know if I could do without my stamps.com. It saves me so much time and saves us money. Thank you
Stamps.com has been the worst ever in the last 6 months. The glitches are just about every other time we print mail. They won't refund for their glitches. The reprint button works half the time. They often glitch and double charge, then what you to spend another 60 cents to send a refund request. Then will label it denied with a vague reason such as "Partial mailpiece submitted" and not explain what the reason even mean. I submitted what they said, and you can't submit glitch double charged becuase it did not print anything. I have used it for 7 years now and spending around $3,000.00 a year, so I would say we are a frequent shopper.

Stamps.com saved me from standing in line at the post office on a dozen occasions this holiday season. Great! But it took 2 hours and three phone calls before I successfully printed my second mailing label. Some type of internal security issue.
I was able to use the included scale for automatic weighing on only 1 day out of 10; bug in software doesn't properly login "stamps connect", which is needed for auto weighing, with stamps.com.
Password requirements for stamps.com not the same as for "stamps connect", which renders using either interchangeably a frustrating experience if you start out with a password good on only one of the systems.
You can't use your email address as your user name because you can't use a period in the user name (like *******@gmail.com) Another non-intuitive "feature".
To me, the term "Address" is not the same as "recipient", but there is no place to specify recipient ( just put the person's name on the first line of the address). Again, poor user interface.
It isn't clear how to print two labels on one sheet of paper sometimes, and only one at a time other times.
Overall, I think I saved around $10.00 on $120.00 in postage for a monthly $17.00 fee. My original plan was to Cancel right after the Holidays, but I may wait a few more months until I'm vaccinated. My local post office has a small lobby, and is always busy.
However, I still need to go into the building to drop off packages because there is no large drop box outside. I make and ship cloth face masks for friends and family, and ship all over the country - two or three shipments of 2 or 3 packages a month. I can't justify it on cost, but for now, my wife says I can on safety.
Tip for consumers:
The monthly fee means you have to ship a lot (>$100.00 per month) to get your money back. With COVID, however, not standing in line at the post office waiting to ship a package is healthier, and since I’m over 65, probably worth it even if I only ship a couple times a month.

Stamps.com to select shipping options and print postage paid labels. Also used the scale to manually weigh and enter weight for pricing.
I can't say enough about how I appreciate this service. I send most everything flat rate and can purchase postage, print postage, and keep all my customers saved so I don't have to enter the information each time. I can read reports of when items were received and how much postage I used for the year for taxes. This saves me time waiting in line at the post office, especially around Christmas. Also, if I make a mistake printing the wrong label, I can get refunded if it shows I didn't use the label.
