I was so lucky to come across this amazing deal, however, it would have been easier to navigate had I attempted to buy the tickets earlier in the morning. My first transaction was only $25 but never fully processed due to high website traffic. When I tried again, the total cost ended up being $45, which was still a great deal considering the flight that I wanted was originally $300. I am so grateful to have come across this amazing deal in time for the holidays.
I heard about StudentUniverse through my local news station and as a college student, I was fortunate enough to find a plane ticket that I could afford and would fit my budget.

It was straightforward. Only one thing. The first time I tried booking, there was a random 30 dollar increase in price which I could not account for anywhere so I refreshed and rebooked and then it was fine.

It was overall a positive experience in terms of navigating the website and successfully booking my ticket for the dates i wanted along with my preferred airline being the one i booked with. I know how to use the site pretty well because of my past experiences with it; over the most recent few years, i've booked about ten or more flights that have all gone over well.
I chose student universe because of the cheap prices for students along with the deals that come with the prices for flights if you are an amazon (student) prime user, since i do also have that subscription.

The process was good but hard to understand for first timers like myself. The reservation code still doesn't work for me personally so I can't see it in the app. But it's not bad.
Because I am going through a study abroad program where I received a travel grant and I can only use it through here.

Everything went well and the checkout process was smooth. The issue I'm having is when I booked the two flights, there was a $50 discount per person for immediate booking. After checking my credit card statement, the $100 discount never applied and it appears that was false advertising. If this is a mistake or there is more time needed to process the $100 off, then okay. If that isn't the case then this is the first and last time I'm using StudentUniverse to ever book anything.

Very bad customer service. Over the phone thier employee said that mam you will get your refund back in 7 to 10 business days and on email they said that mam you will get your money back in 3 to 4 weeks. Seriously guys please try to match your wording. I need my full refund back of dollar 832 otherwise I have to file a complaint against this scam company.

Pricing can vary significantly depending on how much you look! Will be significantly cheaper looking on a new device after browsing for a bit. Nevertheless, the most expensive flights are still cheaper than anywhere else.

They downgraded my airline flight ticket class and refuse to acknowledge this saying they were 'investigating' my claim. I paid for the ticket class but was given a lower class, their help desk has been 0 help, just saying 'its being investigated, theres a high volume of issues at the moment, it'll take a while'. But my flight is in a couple of weeks and no resolution or even acknowledged their mistake.

We are backpackers in Australia who have booked a flight home with this company amid the corona virus crisis having lost our jobs and having no money. Our flight was cancelled BEFORE they allowed us to book, and they now refuse to give us a full refund. We thought the nature of the sight was that they were catering to students and people with less money. We now have no money, including the over 1000 dollars we just lost to these flights. In absolute shock.

The discount was very intriguing compared to other websites, but I noticed that the cost of adding luggage increased after applying the discount, effectively negating the discount's benefit. It would be preferable if the discount didn't result in higher luggage fees.

It was a pleasant experience and very competitive price. I have been looking around with other travel agents and i got the best ticket price for the least transit time. Similar itinerary at other travel web sites were at least 200 dollars more than what Student Universe offered me.

I've had to contact customer service twice (because of a cancelled flight and trouble with checking out online). Both times were uncommon circumstances, but the customer service representatives were extremely nice and helpful. They quickly resolved my issues. I received my money back for the cancelled flight and was able to save some more money on the online checkout with the help of the representative. Also, their student discounts are awesome!

I never advise someone to buy a ticket from this company because they ask you for too many documents, like a credit card picture front and back, passport, student permit support, and very terrible customer support. Do not be greedy for a little lower price. Even for review, they ask to prove. I advise buying from Flighthub, which was my previous ticket.

Good filter to quickly find deals, quick purchase. But I missed the spot for the promo code. There should be a second place for the promo code toward the bottom of the page because the selection of the options naturally draws the customer to the bottom of the page.

Terrible experience.
I was told two days after I purchased a ticket that the flight was cancelled. When I requested my refund for the cancelled flight they wanted to charge me almost $200 for a cancellation fee.
But I didn't change my flight reservations, you did.
I am legally subject to my refund and will take action to report this company as the scam that they are. I have read so many reviews of people who never receive their money.
This is fraud and this is illegal.
Payment for no service.
Will not be booking again.
Be cautious.

When rescheduling my flight it was very difficult to hear the other line, after confirming it would only be 7$ more to reschedule my flight, and hearing an audible "yes" from the other line I was then charged an extra $77. When I wanted to cancel my flight they said I could not, even though I purchased the $9.75 insurance. This company is a scam that preys on students looking for reliable flights. I will never be booking with them again.
