Call attendance were very polite and helpful in navigating my situation. I got a flight not able to confirmed the date before and the call persons did help check to make sure my card was not charge for that flight. And my booking with StudentUniverse online went through for my second trip.

I booked a frontier ticket from kayak through StudentUniverse. It was for an evening flight. When the confirmation came it was for a morning flight. I reached out to StudentUniverse who asked me to cancel the ticket on Frontier Website.

Wanted to change the date of a flight, they wanted twice the price of a new ticket, plus 150 fee. Cancellation meant no money back, at all, despite the fact that the flight was still 3 weeks away. Stay away from this as far as you can!

In December 2019 I had a last minute flight cancellation from a flight I booked from another website. I had looked up student universe and registered with them a few months earlier. In my desperate situation, I decided to check if they had competitive quotes for my travel outbound to the US from Ghana.
The whole process was quick, smooth and easy. Interestingly, I got a much cheaper flight for the same day my flight was scheduled to travel through StudentUniverse.
I will use them again given the opportunity.

Do not ever book with student flights swantson street there flights are crazy expensive and then it costs more to change a flight than to book a new one event though you paid 100 dollars extra to have a flexible ticket and then they informed me if I don't show up for a flight they will cancel all my other flights

I am very unhappy with the Support provided by the Student Universe.
I had booked a flight back and fro to India and there was a schedule change by the airlines which is causing a delay in my return. This happened 3 times and the airlines added additional stops to in my return journey.
Even after explaining to Student Universe that I have to reach early to US as I have further plans for the day, they are not at all helpful in resolving the issue with the airlines and are unfortunately forcing me to accept the new schedule change, rather than talking to the airlines and checking for another alternative.
Whenever I call them, not even once have they got my destination in India right as to where I am going even after repeating it multiple times. This has been very frustrating.

I have booked 3 separate flights in the last month and all got cancelled 24h emailing me, asking for more info on credit card and traveler. They then cancelled and said that my bank had the money, I'm down a couple thousand!
Last straw was the last flight I booked, I even got a ticket and no problem at first, but this time I just got my booking cancelled, even after I had the airline ticket. They couldnt "get an exact match on the credit card" even after charging it and buying the flight from the airline!
They have terrible customer service and have not returned my money yet, even though it's been over 10 days and even though they are the ones that cancelled the flights!

The only thing that I would suggest adding in the page, is the option to add more destinations for the multi-city option, I was only able to look flights for 2 destinations, and I was expecting to look for 3 at the same time. Overall a good experience.

I booked a flight through them and I had to cancel it because of plan change, I have cancelled another flight in the past and I know that they charge 25 % when you cancel, however this time they said this ticket isn't refundable even though there is about 2 weeks till the departure date! After I said to the guy in the phone then there no difference of I cancel it or just simply don't show up... He said if you don't show up you will be charged a fee on top! What a $#*!ing lie... he just said that so they can get the seat back and resell it!
I will never use this shifty company again ever!

Moneer, there is not a set percentage charged for cancellation, it depends on the type of ticket booked on our site that dictates how flexible the change/cancellation is, and what the associated fees are. We do apologize that you were quoted a fee for not showing up for your flight, that fee was actually if you missed your flight and looked to re-book. The agent helping you mis-interpreted that to you on the phone. If we can be of any further help with making changes to your itinerary, please let us know.
My flight with Iceland Air has been canceled, and although IcelandAir is offering customers full refunds, StudentUniverse is charging an additional $40 per ticket refund. So it's either fork over an extra $40 per ticket or lose your entire refund. Sounds fair right?

I had a wonderful time going through and using the app to purchase my ticket. The information provided on the app is detailed and easy to navigate through, making the app very simple to use. The variety of other airlines at pretty affordable prices provided on the app helps a lot in comparing prices in order to influence your decision in making the right choice when it comes to the cost of tickets, this, I would say is however commendable. Right after payment has been made for the purchase of a ticket, there's a quick response to update you on your purchase. Definitely recommend

Not a great service, I booked my flight and got sent my confirmation email just like you would on any travel agency, but then I started to receive a spam of emails asking for more card details, saying that the airline had contacted them saying there was a was an issue, when I emailed back to see what was wrong all they would do is ask for card information again very sketchy
I was recommended it from a friend but will not be using it again and would not recommend it

The price at the top and on the airline filter never matches the list, but the end price is usually still good and once I got a very good "student only under 25" deal. Very quick to reply if you email them. On balance I always check SU first..

It is confusing to enter passport and birthday data. Therefore, I entered wrong date of my passport expiration. I tried to get customer relations reps to help me update my passport expiration date over the phone. They did updates but it doesn't show in both StudentUniverse app and website.
I was looking for inexpensive and shortest route with a reliable air company, so SU let me have it. Thanks!

I purchased for my sister ticket under her name but after 15 minutes just to load the process to check out, the website said everything was all set but I cound not click into their link to check but I thought its fine. When the confirmation mail sent next day, it was under my name so I contacted their customer service about this. Long mails back and forward for 2 weeks including the time they said waitting for the technical team to check, they mail me with the word sorry, cant help cause my sister name is not on record. If it is on their record, why I have to mail them. They said cant overlap the rule to fix traveler name, but that is their fault. Now I have to pay double to buy the same ticket because raising price during waitting for their answer. And I check on reddit and quora, many customers lost their money because how useless the customer service team.

So far my experience with Student Universe is good. I would admit it is not excellent as compared to what cheap promo sites like Booking, Trivago, and Skyscanner can offer but I think it is doing its best in reaching out to students. I just wanna give them credit for their efforts but after booking once in SU, I never booked there again with the premise that their prices are not really discounted.

Unfortunately, the cost of the flight is lower than other airlines, but the cost of the carry on and checked bags is higher. I suppose inflation is affecting everyone in one form or another. Otherwise, I would consider this airlines in the future.

You would have to pay for your baggage(s) as long as it is this airline, which is a budget airline, and they are a bit more expensive than other airlines regarding baggage fees, unfortunately.
