Although we have used aggregators for our flights for a number of years, we were new to Student Universe. Our flights were booked successfully after phoning the very patient customer service representative.
We book flights annually to our European home, and always need to book a for a good price. We were pleased to find this new site and especially like the focus on student services. The donation option is a nice addition.

STAY AWAY - I live in Tokyo and booked in March an air fare with Student Universe for my companion to join me from London. The booking was was for late October 2019. The situation changed and my companion will not be able to take this flight. Despite this being a full seven month sae way Student Universe will not refund one penny or provide any form of credit note. With so many options available you would be much better off learning from my mistake - check Monondo, Chipmunk and Matrix. Fly safe.

S. U. booked my son on Norwegian Air from Newark to Rome and back. Norwegian Air stopped flying to Newark and rerouted him to JFK, 2 hours away by car. No accommodation was made and SU did nothing to help us. On the day of the flight, the flight was cancelled and we were told there was no other flight for 2 days. Again, SU did nothing but offer a refund. The price of flights were more than double. They kept telling us there was nothing they could do. They were worthless and a waste of time as I spent more time on hold than speaking to a customer representative.

If you send us your invoice/confirmation number and/or email address on the booking, we can look into this for you and see if there's anything else we can do. However, we are bound to ticket restrictions by each airline and may not be able to rebook onto another flight if nothing else is currently available. However, we can certainly look into this and do our best to come to a favorable resolution!
I was directed to this service by an outside booking website. Becuase an airline website was down, Student Universe sent me a follow-up email saying that the booking "could not be completed", and to wait and book with the airline. As that was the communication, I waited until the following day, and booked my flight through the airline website. I then received communication that they had processed the flight anyways. I have appealed this several times and did not receive a refund, though I paid for the same flight twice. They have passed me off to try to deal with the airline instead.

StudentUniverse had the best price among the TripAdvisor list I found for an international event I was told about with 3 months to plan. The process was straightforward.
I hadn't looked at the StudentUniverse emails after I booked it closely enough to know I needed to click a link to confirm the flights, so look out for the email.
Also, when I was looking at flight seats, the legend wasn't entirely clear. The two options below the green standard option had the same color box. The only way to differentiate between a seat with more room was the price range, which threw me off a little while I was trying to make the ~9 minute cutoff time with the price locked in.

Half of the trip was well received, but your platform does not show the return flights which was problematic with immigration services who need to determine length of stay.

Absolutely terrible service! I booked a hotel in Miami for 2 double beds in June (almost a month before I was going). As soon as I got to Hyatt, they told me they couldn't find my reservation. I called StudentUniverse and after almost a 1.5 hour hold, they told me that my reservation never went through. Funny since I NEVER got an email saying that and instead got emails confirming my reservation and a transaction of almost $300. Well, they offered to relocate me to Hyatt. After almost 3 hours on the phone and they were like "well book a similar type of room as your original". I originally booked 2 double beds + 1 sofa bed. I got 1 double bed + 1 sofa bed instead for 4 people.
They just keep going back and forth and keep me on hold for HOURS. Terrible terrible service. Never use them.

StudentUniverse had the best price for a complicated flight from FTE to LAX. The ticketing was a bit slow to flow into my email so I called them to be sure it was ticketed. I was able to easily get a real person on the line and they emailed me the confirmation immediately. Thoroughly impressed will be a repeat customer.

I received my StudentUniverse Booking Confirmation. I need to upload that information onto my program's portal--as I am sure other students traveling abroad are required to upload such flight information. To do so, however, requires the flight information to be in pdf format. I do not see how/where that pdf option is available. As a result, I am having trouble getting my Thailand flight information into my program's portal.
