I do understand there are many issues due to coronavirus situation, but it is NOT acceptable to get misleading information. Our flight was canceled and we ask for a refund. It was told to us on the phone "you will have the refund in 8-10 days".
Now it has been already 11 days and they communicated be that it can take up to 30 days! RIDICULOUS.
The airline company is giving back full price refund, studentuniverse is not giving back full refund and the way us to 30 days (if they will give back). It started to sound like a scam.
Give me back my money!

I'm forwarded to this website from SkyScanner. The price shown in SkyScanner didn't match the price in Student Universe. Other than that the servise and convenience of reaching out to customer servise was good.

Booking through StudentUniverse was easy and the prices were better than Kayak and other consolidators. They were even super helpful when I discovered after booking that I had auto-populated incorrect biographic data. The fixed the problem with no hassle.

Yep, i am a student in my 50s with daughters who are students in their late tee and twenties! We all use Student Univers for great deals! We all have varying degrees of time available to travel - the more time you have for more and longer legs the better the deals. This is my go to first stop for making travel plans! Whether or not I use Student Universe is dependent on my time and budget!

Everything was fine except would have liked it to be easier to figure out how to choose seats. Spent a bit of time on that. Went to finnair site, couldn't find place to choose seat. Waited 30 min to chat with someone to find out that I wasn't actually ticketed yet but needed to book seats on American Airlines site? They gave me yet another reservation code for AA.
My kids used it in college and now working for a college, great way to save money.

I got the ticket from Student University with 24-hour flexibility. I called them to cancel my flight after two hours of booking. They told me to call the airlines to cancel that was bull$#*!!. However, I called American Airlines to cancel my flight and they canceled the flight but they changed my money as a flight credit which was not told while I was talking to them about cancellations. I called StudentUniverse about this issue they are not sure about my refund. This totally cheating on the customer. I decided to dispute my purchase from my credit card.
I heard from my friend and told StudentUniverse to provide a good deal and nice customer care, I felt not it was wrong.

I had a great experience with Student Universe. I purchased a plane ticket and a hotel room through it and it went smoothly and it was a great deal. Cheaper than southwest and every other airline. Not hidden fees and traveler insurance wasn't too bad.

I couldnt believe my eyes when i saw the ticket still went with it, but didnt recieve it untill i sent a couple of emails and made some phone calls to the company, all customer service is up to date with issues and connected. Just make sure to follow up with both the website and the airline, and book your flight at least one week before your travels

I was issued a credit instead of a refund after a system glitch caused duplicate bookings. Instead of sending me one I could use to re-book online, I had to ring the call centre to book. Over a 48hr period I requested a call back 3 times after significant waiting periods. They never called back.
Eventually I waited on hold for 2hrs before being served by a rude agent who tried to book me a flight $109 more than my credit voucher and telling me this was the only one available. I kept pushing and insisting that I was looking at a cheaper flight on virgins website. Only after 10min of back and fourth did he admit that there was indeed a much cheaper flight. I will be warning everyone I know not to use Student Universe and urge you to not book with them if you're reading this!
