Beware of hidden fees. You think that the payment that you do is final, but the airline charge you with fees to book through studentuniverse.

I booked student discount option and once I added all information discount price disappeared and actual price deducted from my card.
I thought it will give me student discount but I just assumed

When I booked flight on StudentUniverse site, flight ticket price was $124.97. But after booking I was charged 137.96.
I thought it was giving me best price. But disappointed.

Hi, we saw that you used a promo code. The promotion discount will be refunded to your payment card as another transaction. Since the promotion discount was fully funded by StudentUniverse, not the airlines, customers would have to pay for the full price directly to the airlines for ticketing, and then StudentUniverse would refund the discount. It usually shows up in the bank statement within 3-5 business days. If you have not seen that, feel free to contact our customer service team. Thanks for understanding!
Good experience but too some time for the flight confirmation so I was a little anxious but it was ok in th end for the flight confirmation!

Hi Elizabeth, sorry you felt that way. Most of the bookings will be confirmed and ticketed within 24 hours; passengers could contact us if it exceeds 24 hours. Your booking was confirmed and ticketed 3 hours after payment received.

Smooth experience. The flight tickets were quite cheap but the same price as on the airlines website. However, the insurance was quite cheap.
