I was a little dejected when I was in line for 2 hours after release time. But I finally got in and I got my ticket! I am so happy I can go home for the holidays, it's been a year or so.

I did the Prime $25 flight and there was a lot of traffic to get a flight but that was to be expected. Other than that my flight was smooth and easy to book!

They don't even deserve this 1 star. I definitely will give them 0 if I can.
They never respond to your emails. I tried to call them for 3 days, had to wait on hold for 30 minutes to 1 hour, and still no response. Their website is absolutely useless. You cannot change/cancel or do whatever with your ticket.

Price good compared with other agents. I consulted with different agents and all of them have a price much more expensive than StudentUniverse. Saying that, there are some still small things that can be improved. For example, from time to time, I came up with a lot of occasions that searching is dead or some error messages pop out. There seems some space for an improvement for the website.

They are endeavored in not answering any phone calls made to *******135 or *******296. Do not use this company. They don't return calls or answer emails. Allowing your trip to;lapse and you loose your money.

The experience was great, the website was just a little confusing and could use a few improvements for the booking process (e.g. The option to add baggage protection was there but I just could not click on it, it didn't change anything so I was not sure if it worked)

The service is good, fast and easy to access. The price is after tax so you pay what you see. A lot of protection plan options in case something happens. Price wise it tries to give you the cheapest and most safe and convenient option from different airlines.

I bought a round-trip flight ticket from Chicago to Ho Chi Minh City with the first trip starting at 9pm 12/14. I then received an update that it's changed to 6am the same day, which was fine.
However, the problem is American Airlines, partnered with Japan Airlines, still issued me a ticket for 6pm 12/14,8 hours after my flight to Japan was supposed to be. Both StudentUniverse and Japan Airlines said nothing about this, and I was too busy with school to keep track of my ticket.
I was stranded at LAX for almost 2 days, calling 5+ times to StudentUniverse without a single reply. I had to spend an extra $1000 to buy a new ticket home.
From 12/14/2024 to 1/1/2025, I made 10+ phone calls in total with StudentUniverse asking them to solve this issue and compensate me, yet they kept me waiting for two weeks just to tell me JAL said it is my fault for being no-show. What's worse, a staff of SU had the audacity to ask me why I didn't report immediately and waited two weeks, when he had no idea I have been fighting the entire time. He even questioned why I request compensation when it's my fault for not showing up.
The damage on my mental and physical wellbeing, as well as time and money, is irreversible, and yet SU customer service questioned me instead of negotiating a solution. I'm a college student and $1500 for flight ticket is my entire saving from summer internship. They think they can just bully poor students and blame it on us, but I'm so ready to take legal actions because this is so unethical.

I received a grant that paid for half my flight to study abroad and this platform made it a simple process for me to use it. The only thing I would say that bothered me was that I was forced to pay to choose my seats for two of the flights and then wasn't allowed to choose my seat on the other two.
