I did the Prime $25 flight and there was a lot of traffic to get a flight but that was to be expected. Other than that my flight was smooth and easy to book!

I can't travel with my parents from LAX to Tokyo on 12/11/2024 because i have final exams till 12/13. But I could not find a phone number to call to cancel

They don't even deserve this 1 star. I definitely will give them 0 if I can.

They never respond to your emails. I tried to call them for 3 days, had to wait on hold for 30 minutes to 1 hour, and still no response. Their website is absolutely useless. You cannot change/cancel or do whatever with your ticket.

Price good compared with other agents. I consulted with different agents and all of them have a price much more expensive than StudentUniverse. Saying that, there are some still small things that can be improved. For example, from time to time, I came up with a lot of occasions that searching is dead or some error messages pop out. There seems some space for an improvement for the website.

I was surprised this actually worked to get a ticket for $25. I'm happy that I was able to be one of the first 1000 people to get one of these tickets.

They are endeavored in not answering any phone calls made to *******135 or *******296. Do not use this company. They don't return calls or answer emails. Allowing your trip to;lapse and you loose your money.

This is my first booking, but I was unsure since there are 2 studentuniverse sites, and reviews on various websites mentioned bad service. However, up until now, everything seems fine.

The experience was great, the website was just a little confusing and could use a few improvements for the booking process (e.g. The option to add baggage protection was there but I just could not click on it, it didn't change anything so I was not sure if it worked)

The service is good, fast and easy to access. The price is after tax so you pay what you see. A lot of protection plan options in case something happens. Price wise it tries to give you the cheapest and most safe and convenient option from different airlines.

I bought a round-trip flight ticket from Chicago to Ho Chi Minh City with the first trip starting at 9pm 12/14. I then received an update that it's changed to 6am the same day, which was fine.

However, the problem is American Airlines, partnered with Japan Airlines, still issued me a ticket for 6pm 12/14,8 hours after my flight to Japan was supposed to be. Both StudentUniverse and Japan Airlines said nothing about this, and I was too busy with school to keep track of my ticket.

I was stranded at LAX for almost 2 days, calling 5+ times to StudentUniverse without a single reply. I had to spend an extra $1000 to buy a new ticket home.

From 12/14/2024 to 1/1/2025, I made 10+ phone calls in total with StudentUniverse asking them to solve this issue and compensate me, yet they kept me waiting for two weeks just to tell me JAL said it is my fault for being no-show. What's worse, a staff of SU had the audacity to ask me why I didn't report immediately and waited two weeks, when he had no idea I have been fighting the entire time. He even questioned why I request compensation when it's my fault for not showing up.

The damage on my mental and physical wellbeing, as well as time and money, is irreversible, and yet SU customer service questioned me instead of negotiating a solution. I'm a college student and $1500 for flight ticket is my entire saving from summer internship. They think they can just bully poor students and blame it on us, but I'm so ready to take legal actions because this is so unethical.

This website has the best deals. I've been using it for at least 15 years and I'm always satisfied. Thanks for existing :)

Long wait for someone to answer the phone call but very satisfied in addressing my concern: need a confirmation the soonest.

I used Student Universe to book one leg of an international trip. At one point the set reset and I needed to re-enter everything, but that went fairly quickly and the price was right for my trip.

This is great! I couldn't really afford a ticket I go back home for Christmas, but I ended up getting this $25 ticket home and back so I'm really thankful for this opportunity.

I received a grant that paid for half my flight to study abroad and this platform made it a simple process for me to use it. The only thing I would say that bothered me was that I was forced to pay to choose my seats for two of the flights and then wasn't allowed to choose my seat on the other two.

The price excellent, the booking fairly straightforward and easy, but would not let me pick seat, gave picture of seats however could not choose, it sends you to some other 3rd party site entirely to choose upgrade seat, which also did not work

Student universe charging for seat selection and food selection but the changes are not reflecting on the airlines website. The seat selection failed and food choice was not provided to the airlines. Why is student universe charging for services its unable to fullfil?

Working with this group was smooth. Holding time on the phone was a bit long (20+ minutes) but once I had a representative everything g went smooth and quickly

Buyer beware! 2 days passes. Called airline. They have the reservation but student univ never paid them. Airline cancelled my reservation. I'd never use student universe again.

Purchase was easy enough. However, I called in with a question and was on hold for 45 minutes without connecting. I then sent an email and haven't heard back yet.
