Entering the search parameters was easy, results were easy to evaluate and could be sorted to your desired view, adquate details were provide for slection, which was simple. Once flighs were selected it was easy to select seats except partners. Partners were waiting for proof of payment? My real frustration was finding where I could make changes to my reservations. Maybe it was just me, but I looked all over.

I would like to discuss my case that i face with studentuniverse.com i booked my flight from Vancouver to new Delhi for 22nd april and it was return ticket with free cancellation any time no cancellation charges. My layover was at China as it was Air China with the increasing health problem of deadly corona virus i called up their customer service to cancel my flight for the trip, the customer service ended up with 350$ cancellation charges. That's ridiculous why would i pay for the cancellation charges when i booked the flight free from cancellation charges any time.
They are now telling its your voluntary cancellation, so you have to pay these charges and willnot get full refund back. Please do not waste your time booking from Studentuniverse.com i had very bad experience.

This is the first time I have booked through student universe, got my confirmation and the reference worked on the actual airline website so all good.
I heard about it on social media and decided to give it a try since I am an international student and flights are normally so expensive regardless.

I always look at airline websites first because I usually get skeptical, however, when I look at StudentUniverse, I wonder why I never look here first because it always transfers to their site anyway after booking, and it's always so cheap! I love the quality and how cheap it is!

I had to cancelled my one-way ticket bought in Nov 2021 for travel in Dce 2021. Had to cancel my 5 pax tickets due to Covid. Seems like the ticket is only valid for 1 year from the date of purchase and not from the date of travel. Appareently its Singapore Airlines policy.
Since I cannot travel in Nov 2022, i wanted a refund of all my 5 pax tickets minus airline fees and minus Student Universe Fee - total minus 49% fees. That was back in Oct 2022. Its now Jan 2023 and still no refund. Reason given was Airline not responding to them.
At least with GoGate - I get refund within a month for the return leg.
Is Student Universe trying to cheat me on my less then $3000 refund?
Tip for consumers:
If you are nit sure of travel. changes means fess and not helpful advice. I was advised that I cannot split my ticket of 5 passengers when I tried to change my travel dates

Had to spend additional 40 minutes on phone with my bank to investigate why StudentUniverse wrote to me saying my card had been declined. The hwas never declined according to my Bank. Ended wasting my valuable time. Upon responding to StudentUniverse bybemail my booking was confirmed in a short time.

I booked a flight for American Airlines with StudentUniverse and the price was cheaper on StudentUniverse than the American Airlines website. It was very effective. I booked the flight the night before I left to head back to NYC. It worked pretty well.

This was the cheapest flight, and it wasn't clear from Studentuniverse what the baggage policy was, and of course, I had to suspect this was the trick.
Only after I booked, it became clear that there are no bags - nnpt even a carryon! - and I have to pay a huge sum (40% of the ticket cost) just to add a carry-on, making it more expensive than other more straightforward options on other search engines.
Will never use Studentuniverse again for sure

I booked a flight on this and was scared I was going to get scammed but I received my flight information shortly thereafter. I don't think I put in my student information to verify I was a uni student though so thats a little weird but I'm pretty sure its fine.
