Got my part number off the website, ordered, shipped wrong part, Called to notify, Dude on phone was helpful, sharp, knew his job and got things quickly resolved... I'll know for sure when I receive the proper order... I will re post either way in a few weeks... dc mcgill

Poor service when you call make sure you grab a drink it will take forever on hold times over 30 min. Then they give you a attuide. They charged my card even thou i didn't buy the product then told me to wait 3 to 5 business days for there mistake. Called spoke to bridget she them put me on hold for another 20 min. Then jeremy argued with me about the matter. Attitudes to say the least. You have a choices where you spend your money...
I made a larger order by phone a few weeks back. Summit Kept telling me my card was declined after 3 tries I called my bank. Turns out the rep I was talking to on phone inputted my card number incorrect 3 seperate times.
Once the order went through, I got a call the next day with a message to call them. I had my wife call and the Girl was incredibly rude and nasty and insisted she must talk to me. I took a break from work and all she asked was for me to repeat the shipping address to her.
They stated all items were in stock. I received tracking for majority of my order after 2 days. The rest I received no tracking on. I emailed to ask why and still to this day I have no tracking or reply answering my question.
Worse service I've had if quite some time.
Summit has a best price guarantee but they never beat other companies prices as they will tell you they have a right to refuse price match for any reason including not wanting to price match. They get angry when you tell them to take down the false add.

I only received half my order. Called to find out why and they said they didn't know but they would refund it. I ordered the replacement parts, but of course some were out of stock or had be replaced by more expensive parts. I never got a refund for one item. I called three times and had nothing but rude interactions with employees that seemed to not care at all. After a week of trying, I placed a charge back with my credit card company, just for the single item I wasn't refunded for. Fast forward several months and I decide (against my better judgement) to make another purchase with them. I get a call from their customer service the next day, the woman was extremely rude from the start. She told me "I guess I'll just eat the $21 from your charge back, but if you do it again we won't sell to you again". I told her to go ahead and cancel the order, I'll purchase from somewhere else.
After I had an incorrect address on my account last year I changed it to my new address, placed an order for a gift card (I'm in Canada) and they cancel it leaving me with lost funds due to the exchange rate, this was about 50 bucks. The "person" Rudy in customer service has a name that fits because he's nothing but rude and not helpful at all. This year I place another order for a gift card as a "guest" instead of using my account because I assume this would work, and they decide to cancel my order AGAIN without informing me or even emailing me to say this was done, what the reason was, anything. So now I'm stuck with another loss of funds due to the exchange rate. Complete lack of customer service and no communication. NEVER AGAIN. Steer clear of this company.
I used the message version of the "contact" area of the site, asking if they offered discounts for front-line health care workers. I received a message stating if I called their order line they would give me the same discount they offer to the military. I called the number right away where they denied sending the message and refused to offer me any type of discount, or even an apology. I sent screenshots of the message and never received a reply. If they would have just said no to my initial question, I wouldn't have been upset. Buy to say yes and then have the manager refuse ANYTHING is the epitome of poor customer service. I went through with the order as the part was tops on my son's Christmas list, but never again.
I was prepared to buy a number of items from Summit Racing - but after reading these reviews - wow am I ever so pleased to have read them to discover that would have been a monumental mistake. Appreciate everyone who took the time to write the reviews.
Ordered tires and 23 days later got an update that it will take another 3 months before tires can be shipped from manufacturer. Why are they accepting orders online if they do not have product it should indicate that it is out of stock and is on a backorder.
When I call in trying to get some help on figuring out parts applications for a custom build I am building and all you can tell me is once you start mixing parts im on your own and you cant help? That is fine, I get it its annoying to help with those. But when I have actual part numbers, the year make and model of said parts, not to mention I've had previous people help me out with part compatibility when I've called. I don't see the need to be rude about it and pretty much tell me i'm on my own and that you're not going to help me out when i'm asking for advice on parts.
Ordered Fab Four front and rear fenders back in sept 2020. Recived the rear ones in December and by January still didn't have the front ones. The rear came unfinished was supposed to be Matt black. They were also rusted. Requested a refund for front ones that still had not arrived at 5 months late already. Once I got my refund I ordered from another company and had them within 4
Days. Summit racing sucks! They play covid card or they are out of stock. Well three other companies have them in stock so beware. Don't wait around for this company to send you rusted unfinished parts.

Purchased a set of BF Goodrich G-Force Rival Tires. Two of those tires were already 2 years old upon delivery and 1 was out of round at the installer shop. Summit Racing refused to exchange. Was told to work with the tire manufacturer. Summit Racing, you sold the bad tires you work to resolve it!
The worst online page to order your car parts. They send me the wrong Axle Shaft twice. Is unprofessional the way they ship the Axle with no box no bag or anything to protect the axle from getting damage. The UPS wouldn't take it like that I had to purchase a box with my own money! Don't order from here just save your time.
Tech guy selected the engine replacement upgrade for my truck, it was delivered (damaged) and it was the wrong engine!
Hours of phone calls and no response from Summit
Never emailed me as they said they would.
$4500 dollars out of pocket and still no pick up of the wrong part no refund!

How in day and age can a large company like summit racing be so inept? Called for customer service and the lady put me on hold and never came back. Since than I have not been able to get through to customer service. Shame on me for using this shatty co. Richard in Mn.
I purchased 4 Summit Racing wheels approximately 8 months ago. As of now they are garbage because the chrome is flaking off of all 4 of them. I contacted customer support and all they will do is offer me 10% off a new set. Really? So I can replace them again 8 months from now? Apparently they do not stand behind their products. I will never purchase anything from them again.
I purchased 3 tool boxes. One shipped from Summit Racing and the other two shipped from manufacturer. With the one shipped from Summit the outer box with labels was in great shape. Upon opening item, it was damaged. Called and Andrea was super helpful and got the replacement item in mail the same day with upgraded shipping so I could receive it sooner because of the damage. The replacement item arrived before the original two from manufacturer. Upon the receipt of the two boxes from manufacturer, it was discovered that one of the two boxes was the wrong box entirely! Called again thinking it would be another easy exchange, WRONG! Chase said I had to give my credit card info again gut them to exchange it. I've already paid fir the merchandise, and THEY sent the wrong item and want to charge me again fir the item that I actually ordered and already paid for. Horrible customer service. Their "hassle free return guarantee" is empty words.

Best online store for the automotive and performance enthusiast. Been around for 40 years, been online since the internet became mainstream. You only have three negative reviews in all that time because they have only pissed off three out of the hundreds of thousands of customers they have sold to. They are a 6 star company with the best customer service!
The worst company I've ever had to deal with. Not only did they send the wrong part they tried to say they never received the part I had to send back. When they realized I had the tracking and told them even what time they receive it back after that they sent email saying 104.00 would go back on my card not the 117.00 I paid them. Very unprofessional and poor customer service. Never ever trust this company. Over priced and very dishonest. Fair warning folks!

I special ordered a cam for my hot rod after 45 minutes they assured me it would be sent out that next Monday. 8 days after it was supposed to be shipped I received a email ot had been shipped after one salesman and purchase agent assured me that it would be sent out that next Monday so my take is they will lie to get your business.
Purchased some merged collectors and viewed the photos which were 4 into one. In fine print they have 3 into one. I purchased the items on the photo advertising the product and tried to cancel the order before it was shipped. They said the complaint would be responded to in 4 days but after chasing them up they responded in 8 days. The response was nothing about my complaint and in follow up contact they still have not addressed my complaint. It is like advertising a photo of a new Corvette and getting a Toyota. Terrible service, do not go off photos and judging by the complaints I have viewed the simply don't care.
Called for rear Harley tire. Got price of 301.95. Found same tire at JP cycles with free shipping for 219.45. Told me if I called back with sight they'd price match. He also said I have 11 in stock would you like me to pull you one. Said I'd call right back. 5 minutes later they said they couldn't price match cause there were none in stock. Don't lie just say you don't want to price match. Lost my business!

I originally left a poor review of Summit Racing as a result of ordering a tuneau cover that was advertised on their site as one that would fit my vehicle. After one phone call with their customer service, I returned the item but was unhappy they did not reimburse me for my shipping, given that I thought it was their fault. Well, I received that reimbursement today after I left a poor review. While I may not be able to take that review back, I highly respect that type of customer service and response. Thank you Summit Racing!

What has happened to Summit Racing's once stellar customer service? Summit's fantastic customer service is a big part of why I have shopped with them for years! They used to be so very easy to work with.
I have recently had to return an defective part. The website makes that easy. But, should you run into an issue that is not on the website's list of issues and have to call... GOOD LUCK! My last attempt to call was pathetic. After dialing and going through the menu options, I was put on hold to wait for the next available representative... 56 minutes later I gave up and hung up! I also tried the SMS system only to get a text the next day. I can't get the texting representative to understand the problem. So now, three days later I'm still waiting...
