Got my part number off the website, ordered, shipped wrong part, Called to notify, Dude on phone was helpful, sharp, knew his job and got things quickly resolved... I'll know for sure when I receive the proper order... I will re post either way in a few weeks... dc mcgill

Paid for the 2 day air shipping and didn't come for 5 days. I called and they said sorry and that's all they could do and if that I couldn't have my upgrade fees even though it took longer than standard ground shipping would have. Waste of money
I ordered a transfer pump that said it had free shipping at the end of the order they slipped in a handling charge that was not then 10% of the items cost. I called within 20 mins was put on hold for 15 hung up called back and was told they couldn't cancel the order because it had already shipped. What a waste of time and a scam. I won't buy from them again.
Bought a door shell in may and patiently waited until July to ask what the deal was. Said it was backordered check again in a month! Miraculously two days later the driver called to schedule a delivery time. Finally! Unfortunately the box was severely impacted on the window frame and drug along the ground. The driver immediately took it back. Called summit and demanded my money back. They emailed me saying they shipped a new one. Three weeks later I called and they said the order was cancelled but failed to refund my money. It's now the middle of Aug and I'm waiting my 3-5 business day refund check. Not to mention the hold time I had to go thru. Hours!
Ordered $1700 worth of stuff a month ago. Shipping seems to have halted and will not update any further. Got onto customer service only to be told it's not their problem. I'm sitting in Australia so I expect about a week and a half for delivery but no over a month now and still no parcel or parts. Refuse to rectify the issue. Did not want to be held accountable for taking a week just to begin sending my parts. But no that's ok just take my money straight away and treat me like crap as soon as you get your theiving hands on it.
Have emailed several times and been ignored, done the live chat and honestly the Chinese can respond in far better English than these people. Useless, pathetic and down right scamming mongrels.
My husband & I have been ordering items from Summit from as far back as in the 70's. We have gotten Fantastic customer service, quality items and fast delivery. Your company is better than Jeggs,, speedway, Yogi's and others. Your customer service is extremely knowledgeable and professional.
They had the best deal online for a cat back xforce exhaust for my ISF. It's basically the only option for the ISF as the Japanese branded ones are a ridiculous in price. It's a Joey Z exhaust pretty much for 500 or so dollars less. Was weary to order from them because of the bad reviews on here. Gave them a call and spoke to someone within 2 minutes of waiting and they said the item was in stock. They said the item would be here Monday. I actually for the item here today and boy is it beautiful. I can't wait to install this cat back exhaust soon. Summit racing has met and also exceeded my expectations as a business. I will definitely be back to shop for other parts for my other cars. I encourage anyone before they shop at this place, give them a call to see if the item is in stock.

I purchased a set of brake calipers that when I received them were used. I tried to return them and they blamed me for installing them! I had to fight for my refund.
Jump ahead and I ordered the wrong leveling kit for my truck. Set up the return. Paid for the shipping back and guess what... they are denying this return as it "doesn't meet their expectations!"
Shop elsewhere. This place is a total scam looking to take advantage of its consumers.
They review all submissions for product reviews, and reject basically anything but a perfect review of them and the particular product you bought. It is laughable. It isn't enough that their presence has killed the small speed shops but now they want every word spoken about them or the product to be perfect or it is rejected. How is that an honest appraisal of the product, or service recieved? What are you so afraid of summit? If you truly are the best as you like to believe then why not allow people to speak the truth? Then let the public decide for themselves based on honest reviews by honest consumers. What a joke!
I bought a set of hooker headers for my 1973 gran torino with a 460 for almost $1000 an had a guarantee they would fit they wont and they look to be made wrong I got ahold of customer service and they said they would return my money and they never sent a return label this was several weeks ago
I live in Australia and wanted a PA2 weather station for our drag racing car. First of all the courier they used did not keep us informed that the item had been held overseas. The item arrived and did not work. I spoke to them for about an hour and got nowhere with them, they are just hopeless with their customer service. Its the same old company line over and over again, they have no idea about the products they sell. They would not be allowed to get away this in Australia, the customer has rights. I have now had to send the item back and hope they get their fingers out and issue the refund quickly as i need to get another one.
Summit racing is a horrible company. Lack luster knowledge, incompetent at best with a complete lack of empathy to do the right thing when it's there fault. I could go on and on about various " cutomer service reps " and upper management just be warned they smile while taking your money and run when you make them aware of there incompetence. I wouldn't even give them a star if I didn't have to. Too many other companies out there to do business with to sit here and take it up the wazoo.

Gift card. States 1-2 hour response... NOT! Three days later I have a message to confirm shipping address. Clearly on invoice already. No one answers phone so you have to leave message. Leave a message confirming. Nothing. Call three more times... leave a message. Finally get ahold of them from work. Sorry... you have to confirm from listed phone "because you are shipping to another state. Can't confirm this on another phone."By now birthday is long gone. Finally found message left on their phone and sent. NEVER AGAIN!

I ask them to price match rock auto it was only a 4 dollar difference was getting 2 items the sales guy started talking about shipping cost with rock auto I was getting over 100 dollars with summit but the items I wanted matched from rock auto was 16 59 there and like 20.49 at summit I was getting 2. He said he would have to add rockauto shipping price. Well if I was only getting the 2 items from one store or the other the shipping was 9.99 at each store But since I qualified for free ship for over 100 dollars with summit total was like 118.00 He said well I would have to add ther shipping cost I said hell with it I will get at rockauto It says price match nothing about shipping screw summit To many other places to by and there shipping is never on time or has a long delay just look for youself many items will not even ship for several weeks and if they say in stock it still ships from someplace else and is late
Ordered walker exhaust pt# *******. Received exhaust with front pipe but missing convertor. Called summit was told that i should of received convertor not front pipe. I looked on walkers exhaust parts lookup and front pipe and convertor comes together. Their customer service sucks don't know what happened but I will not order from them again or will my company
Placed a order inside store for a part that had to be shipped to me. Got the part thinking all is well, went to get it installed only to find out it's the wrong part. Contact them and all they can say is order the correct part and we will give you a discount

These reviews are unbelievable I've had nothing but a great experience with this company, & at first when they didn't put my apt.# on the order & ups could not deliver I was upset, but the supervisor Jerry called me & apologized & he was great after that I ordered a set of power stop brakes which did not work out called them & said send the brakes back mind you I had used them for about two weeks they said they would give me a full refund & they did. Because of this great customer service I bought another set of powerstop brakes & they are excellent. Thx summit racing
Bought a new exhaust system from them. It was defective in manufacture. They won't even suggest my returning it. In fact, their suggestion: "Sell it locally." Now they have my money and have their defective exhaust.

Bought a tool and it came damaged when I went to exchange it they told me I did the damage and worse of a they never even return the part I sent them for credit. Summit employes a bunch of low class people. Do u self a favor buy from a better vendor like BTR not summit they r a bunch of rude, arrogant, idiots!
Terrible tech and sales. Called to get sizing for stall converter and carb. I guess summit doesnt do that since he asked me what how much stall I wanted. I said that's why I called you. His reply was. I'm not an engine builder. Had enough at that point especially after he said there was no application for a stall for a 350 sbc to mate to a 700r4. WOW! Only gave one star since it wont let me give zero.
Ordered hood for my 1980 Toyota pickup. Promised for Oct. Then Nov. Then Feb. Got hood in March damaged. Said hood was backordered and would not be in until after June 20th. I do not recommend you buy any body parts. Second time body parts came in damaged. No excuse. I was patient but no longer. Now they want twice as much for the same item if I order again. Go fish.

They sent me the wrong part, so I returned it. They gave me a partial refund. I told them it was there mistake and the woman did not care and proceeded to hang up on me. So I called back and got hung up on again. Buyers beware.
Purchased a rebuilt alternator for the wife's car. Summit had the best price advertised. The first one I received was damaged, obviously dropped, the manufactures box was thrashed and they sent it to me anyway. I returned it and they sent me a credit for the alternator only and not the additional $70 core charge I paid for up front. They are not upfront with their core return policy to begin with and I do not recommend them for any part that involves a core charge. They might be a good source for parts that don't require a core but I will never be using them again.

I ordered here twice both times were a nightmare their ratings speak for themself I ordered a distributor it didnt work they sent another one charged me again i had 1200 in optisparks that didnt work

I received a defective part from Summit. I called the over two weeks ago and was told a replacement and a call tag would be shipped out immediately.
Still no part! I called today and after holding for 30 minutes and hearing the Covid blame game over and over I got to speak to someone. She stated that the credit for my original purchase wasn't moved over but now it is. I asked if she just did it since the website shows "pending" order status. She lied and said No, it was done earlier today. When a business has their employee lie to me, I am done. I had been buying from Summit for over 30 years!
