Got my part number off the website, ordered, shipped wrong part, Called to notify, Dude on phone was helpful, sharp, knew his job and got things quickly resolved... I'll know for sure when I receive the proper order... I will re post either way in a few weeks... dc mcgill

I have dealt with Summit (via mail order) for over 20 years and have always been satisfied with their promptness, fairness and knowledge. They have replaced damaged parts for me with no hesitation. They shipped me a part that was marked with the incorrect size... they told me to keep the incorrect part and shipped the correct size part... no cost. I located a part that was $20 cheaper than Summits and after a phone call was told Summit would meet the other venders price. However when I was billed Summet charged me $40 less. I have called them with questions and if the individual I was speaking to does not know the answer I have been transferred to another individual that can answer my question. SUMMIT KNOWS CUSTOMER SERVICE!
Want to screw up your car? Want to spend lots of money for crap? Plus, this bunch of people will love to lie, misrepresent, overcharge you, and send you the wrong parts. Then you can never get a hold of them for any service or money refund. DON'T BE STUPID! AVOID THIS GARBAGE COMPANY!
I've been a loyal Summit customer since the early 90's. Over the years my purchases have varied tremendously and for the most part I've been very satisfied with things. Here recently it seems the company has remained relatively stagnant when it comes to expanding parts availability. They look as though their trying to emulate some of Amazon's more deceptive listing practices (placing an item on a search result, even though it's not coming directly from Amazon). I understand that it's not feasible for a company to stock every possible part from every vendor, but more and more it seems like a large portion of the items on the Summit site are "sent directly from vendor" but are listed on the Summit site. My contention is that if you don't have it, why do you even offer it? Sure you offer a lower price than if I get it directly from the manufacturer, but you have no clue on its availability and make shipping "promises" that Summit has no control over. Bottom line, don't put it on the website as something you sell unless you have directly control over selling it@
I couldn't have been treated and more disrespectfully! I will use Jeg' or Speedway from here on out. The tech team was decent but I kept getting wrong parts. Hence tge need for customer service.
Summit racing is a joke. 3 Transmissions later we still don't have one that didn't have metal shavings in it. I WOULD NOT recommend this company or its parts.

They waited four days till Sunday at 5am to email me twice there was an issue with my debit card turns out it was a problem on there end and they could not fix it and wanted me to call back Monday so I cancelled my order and will spend my money after another 4 day of waiting for it to repost to my account at another company what a mistake Using this company was

I called summit racing to order a crate motor. I was looking to purchase some thing they had in stock ready to ship. We found a suitable motor and i asked for them to setup shipping to Ak. At witch point I got a quote for next day air shipping and wow $2000. 00. Way out of line. I asked the sales representative to get me a quote for truck freight shipping. He said that he would be happy to do this and said he would call me right back. He never did. So I called them back and ended up getting a different sales representative. He placed a new order. Taking advantage of Summits free shipping in the Continental United States I had them ship it to a shipping company in Washington. Who would ship it from there to Ak Which put shipping costs at $500.00 way better. I was told it would ship the next day. (This was a outright lie) and to expect delivery in 4 days. After the 5th day I called customer service to get a trcking number. At this point I was told that it has not been shipped yet and it would be a week before it would ship. Still not getting a tracking number I tried to contact summit to get a tracking number and that's wen summits customer service would answer the phone and hang up on me without talking at all. The first time I assume this was a accidental hang up. Nope! They did this three more times and then blocked my number.
After summit got my money they were finished. I will never be doing Business with Summit Racing ever again!

I purchased over $1,500 in parts from summit in February. The first round they sent me the wrong parts. I was ok with it because I am converting a Pontiac from a Pontiac engine to a Chevy engine. I racked it up to confusion in our conversation. I did repeat my needs, but things happen. They told me that they can send me new parts but I would have to pay for them and they would refund me after they received the returned parts. So, I had to wait almost two weeks for the correct parts. One of the headers had a large dent in it. It looked like it might be designed this way for the spark plug. The dent was obviously made before the ceramic coating because it was flawless. When I contacted Summit they asked if I had installed it I was honest and said yes. Then they told me that I was out of luck. The pictures I sent them shows that the damage was there before. It was also located on the side that is protected. No one could even damage it in this location without trying to. It is protected by the other tubes. I would recommend anyone looking for parts to shop locally or use Jegs, or another company. When you are working on a time line they will not care. I will never use them again! They also sent me an email 3 days after I sent them pictures and services request saying that it had been resolved and client was talked to. When in fact no one had ever responded or even talked to me.
Ordered a new hitch cargo carrier from Summit, but instead a used item that was dirty, broken & rusted. I called to report this that same day. We ended up having to pay more through another retailer that I had to make a last minute drive 45 miles each way to pick up, so that we could leave on schedule. When I called Summit, they told me I could return the item upon our return. After our return, I first chatted online with a representative who sent me a return label and said I would be reimbursed when they got the item back & that I could drop the item off at a UPS store or request a pickup. So after all the inconvenience and extra expense, and having never received the item I ordered (just a piece of broken & rusted junk that I then had to spend more time/effort to return), I go online to find out that a pickup would require a fee to UPS, because Summit did not authorize a pickup. After another long call with Summit, they authorized a prepaid label, but when they received the item, they charged me for shipping! This company is a joke.

The are the worst company I've ever dealt with! Every person that works there lies to you and will tell you something different. Lied about when my order would ship and told me it was my fault that it didn't ship. WORST COMPANY FOR CAR AND TRUCK PARTS!
I thought my order would be simple: Order a radiator, hoses, cap and thermostat. Since it was a service truck waiting for this stuff I had them check stock before placing order. Everything was in stock and ship next day. A couple days later all showed up except the radiator. I called them up and asked what's going on? SR said it on back order for a month? I said wait you guys told me there was 12 in stock that morning when I placed the order! So a nice lady gets me a better brand and I explained VERY thoroughly this a service truck, I need it ASAP. No problem she said, its will be shipped next day, I will confirm with an email. Next day, I get NOTHING again. I called up, and its on hold because the original didn't get deleted. WTF! They have to wait to delete things on MY dime? In my opinion The Worse Company, I can't believe they are still in business. They need to overhaul their SOP on customer service. They don't care about their customers, its all about the money in my opinion. I will try JEGS or Autoanything next time

I've been calling for 4 days now and sat in the phone for 45 mins on my lunch break and an hour when I got off work at 3 all 4 days this is bull$#*!. I made an order and they gave me a number too my money but still haven't sent my $#*!ing order why I made my order on Friday and here it is Wednesday. Poor service and return Had them look up an oil pan for my gen IV big block and they sent me the wrong one got to the point where I was going to put the oil pan on it was the wrong one and they will not take it back I just wanted to exchange it
I hope you know exactly what part you need because they don't care weather they help you or not to get the correct part, I was even told the parts wasn't available at all, I knew better so I went to Holley website and guess what? There its was. My point is why could'nt she do the same thing that just like I did, If she was really wanting to help me get the correct part, I"LL TELL YOU WHY! SHE DID"NT CARE! SO if you do their job for them then you will be fine. BOTTOM LINE POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE WITH BAD ATTITUDES. One more thing if you cancel an order because it was wrong(THEIR FAULT) it 5 to 7 business days before you get you money back I feel thats to long.
Summit Racing is a ridiculous excuse for a company. I placed an order for a carburetor rebuild kit.and was charged a handling fee of $9.95 on a $28.72 order. I received the kit. When I could not do the rebuild, I saw that they include a return shipping label. The front of the label does not talk about charging you for the return. So I used the return shipping label. I received a $20.22 refund to my card. When I complained, they told me the handling fee was not refundable and they charge $8.50 for using their label. The smarts on the phone stated that it is clearly explained on the label; and "why should they be out any money! I looked at the back of the label and found those charges written in letters 1/16" tall! As far as the company being out any money, they charge me $9.95 to pull a part! If they paid for the return shipping they would not be out any money! They don't care about customer satisfaction and both of the representatives I spoke with had a you're wasting my time attitude. I wish I could give zero stars!
Waited on a txt in customer service queue for over 1hr 45 mins before i quit. I used their lack of response for my credit card to pull funds. My fault they are every bit of 1.88 they have earned.

Ordered a part on the 14 call them a week later to see where it was they said it will be there in a week so I called them back a week later and they said it will be two months later I'm canceled my orders and they better refunded my money back they said it would take about a week to get it so I will be check my account to see if they do it if not I'm going to contact my lawyer so my advice is to all of you don't order nothing from summit racing it's a ripoff,,,
I said;
3 out of 4 tires received had the white letters damaged (scuffed) on them do to the way you taped them together with nothing in between the tires. The white letters look terrible.
They said it was my fault
I apologize once the tires can not be returned as new and unused. I can not warranty them because it is clear from your pictures that the tires have been cleaned. The coating over the letters is meant to wear off. Harsh cleaning with brush and chemicals will remove the white off the tire. I suggest getting a tire letter marker such as SLC-T19
I WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM AGAIN. ALSO DISPUTING WITH CC COMP.
Sold me a torque convertor that was not built properly. I live in Canada so shipping it back and having my vehicle apart for a month waiting for a replacement wasn't an option. So I brought the convertor into a shop to get it looked it. They fixed it and it cost me an additional $315CAN. I called summit and explained what happened and that it needed to be fixed, I asked for them to refund me $250US to help cover paying to get the convertor fixed (I'd still be out money paying for fuel driving 400+km to the shop and home twice) They refunded me a whole $43 US. Which is a total joke. I then filed a dispute with PayPal which summit racing denied and would not do anything to help me.
After spending thousands of dollars over the years with summit racing I will NEVER AGAIN in my life time spend another penny with them if they can't help me out when they sold me something that clearly wasn't built properly.
Shame on you summit racing. I guess you needed that $250 more than I do. Oh well, I'll happily shop else where.

Placed order on June 5th, 2 month later, still nothing. Was supposed to ship that week but no. To my surprise there's a string of 1 star reviews on this company I though was once reputable but not the case anymore. One 5 star rating by an employee "Harold D" Yes, for sure an employee for the sake of damage control. But his punk a$$ comment about the 100's of one star reviews stating we are the incompetent ones brings me to a level of wishing I knew exactly who he is and if I did I would rip his yellow spine out and choke him out with it. So EAD Harold D. It's laughable how they try with these templated responses to defend themselves as if these ` star ratings will disappear. GTFOH with you lies and scamming bs. Obviously this company is tanking and will be out of business soon. The fact they able to secure our money without providing the product using a waiting game of attrition, hoping we will forget about the order is scandalous and should be illegal. Most companies, legit companies, charge upon shipping and sometimes not until delivery. I am actually going to not cancel my order but rather report it as fraud with my bank and see about further legal action against them. Perhaps a class action lawsuit will be coming due to all these people being ripped off. They're breaking laws, no doubt and their time is going to up soon. I ordered a LOK-CM700AMP automatic shifter from their web site which stated that it would be shipped within 3 DAYS! A LIE, It's been going on 2 MONTHS & each time that I inquire about it all you get from them are MORE LIES! It's being mailed, LIE, they are waiting for the knob button, LIE, They sent it to the wrong address, LIE! They are waiting for a bracket, LIE! Now it's on BACK ORDER & I should see it in 2 WEEKS! All they want is YOUR MONEY & could CARE LESS IF YOU EVER GET YOUR ORDER! Bottom line is that they will TELL YOU ANYTHING TO GET RID OF YOU! Do NOT USE THESE LIERS! They are WORTHLESS!
