Got my part number off the website, ordered, shipped wrong part, Called to notify, Dude on phone was helpful, sharp, knew his job and got things quickly resolved... I'll know for sure when I receive the proper order... I will re post either way in a few weeks... dc mcgill

I ordered pushrods for my LS conversion. I ordered the incorrect pushrods. Summit said, return them, once we receive them we will exchange for the correct pushrods. 30+ days later and no pushrods, no communication, just dead in the water. I called Summit customer service to see what the status was. Summit stated that the pushrods were in fact returned and that they were holding my refund for absolutely no reason at all. Summit says "We are really sorry about this, would you like us to send out the pushrods you ordered?".
I ordered a header on wed 7/15/20. I rcvd an email that day with an order number and ship date. Never rcvd a note showing tracking number so I logged on to my account to check status. My account shows no orders open. There is no other way on the website to check on an order. As I type I have been on hold for 1 hour and 20 mins. My rebuild is on a time schedule and I really need this part ASAP. If only I could talk with someone about this it would ease my frustration. I went to on line ordering because shopping at a Summit store is a beat down. I hate waiting in line and the stores have 3 of them just to purchase a part.
After I ordered a set of hooker headers for a 1973 ford gran torino with a 460cid the headers looked like they were made wrong and when we finally got ahold of customer service I was told they would refund my money this has been a month and a half ago and have yet to receive a return label
We have used Summit for several years- their service is definitely down lately. The last 2 orders placed did not get shipped as we were told- we had to call to see about them.

The second one they sent me. Had a cracked case.
The third one they sent me did not have second.
The fourth one they sent me did not have second.
I had two different professional mechanics install it.
I'm out the installation fee times 4.
I have a truck that does not have second. Please stay away. Please do not waste your time. Go somewhere else.

Ordered a set of Mickey Thompson drag radials on 8/2/21.3 days later given a delivery date of 9/7/21.On 8/25/21 I get a new date of 10/28/21. Called to inquire. Was told Mickey Thompson was the cause. Called Mickey Thompson. They told me they had not missed any of their shipment dates to any of their suppliers.So what happened to my tires? Seems to me Summit likes to use your name and credit card to hold a place in line, but when a buddy needs a set your going to the back of the line. Long story short. Ordered the tires straight from Mickey Thompson and they exceeded all expectations.

Beware! Do not use summit racing, the representative did not put my apartment number when I clearly told him because he repeated it back to me. How I found out is when I checked the email, so I called back & spoke with a representative who said he would call ups & fedex & told me he did get them to put the address on, so come time for delivery no package so I called ups & they informed me that there was no apartment # so they couldn't deliver the package unbelievable. I finally did get the ups order delivered now I waiting on the fedex order. Please do not deal with them they are very messy.
I ordered a part from this company, never received it, still waiting on a refund. I have ordered, received, and had it installed from another company. And I'm still waiting on my refund. Sorry sorry service.
I'm not sure who's At fault, Ratech for terrible packaging or Summit for allowing it. Got a box of carrier bearings, Ratech 308tkt, all just loosely tossed in the box and looking used with grit and grease. Timken always boxes their stuff so why weren't these? Replacement kit was exactly the same thing. No Excuse.

My car has been down for 5 weeks cause summit has sent me 3 fitech kits, every one has $#*! the bed within 100 miles! Also they sold me a waterpump that was claimed to fit on my 62 vette... it didn't fit! I was told that the new EFI kit would be sent next day... just got the tracking and it's 4 days out! Don't know how they went down hill so fast but I won't be ordering anything from them again.

Truth be told, I like JEGS too. I have ordered tons from these guys and they are very good parts, at good prices and the service is impeccable. When I have problems they take the product back without question. If you are restoring a car these guys (and JEGS) are just great.
Im from canada and have built several high performance cars, all have shipped in a timely manner. Summit says part in stock if ordered now will be shipped today.im at 3 weeks waiting for the order with 4 parts, iv emailed several times and zero response. I guess because my order was only $300 dollars they dont care. Funny thing is iv spent 20k in parts on my last build, my vehicle is stuck in the driveway now for 3 weeks iv been walking to work... i estimate on spending around 10k more on this build, not from summit.do yourself a favour and otder elsewhere, they dont value the little guys
Save your money and frustrations, order elsewhere! Terrible customer service. They keep sending the wrong product in the mail and then saying they aren't willing to check it before sending it to make sure it's what I actually ordered. Then told me if they send the wrong product for the third time they won't refund me or try and send the correct product. Terribly rude staff and obviously not capable of doing small tasks. DO NOT ORDER FROM SUMMIT! Order from somewhere else...
I ordered four shocks for my 69 chrysler 300 and they did not fit properly. The repair shop did not notice the wrong fitment until after they cut off the old shocks. Needless to say they made adjustments to all four shocks to make them fit and charged me for the fabrication. After speaking to customer service they said that they would have replaced the shocks but could not because they where modified to fit. The savings on the price of the shocks was eaten up by the extra labor cost. I will not buy from them again and would not recomend them to anyone.
Have been using Summit Racing equipment for years, they used to be a customer service oriented outfit, always went out of their way to make sure customer was satisfied. Over the years have bought close to $100K in parts from them. Recently they just don't care, expect to be on hold with customer service for hours. I purchased a $2K air conditioning system from them and they got the parts wrong, not a big deal it was a complicated setup, but getting them to fix it was a 2 hour ordeal, and they made me feel that it was my fault for ordering it from them and charged me additional shipping. You can tell the employees don't care anymore and that is a sign of poor management. Going to drastically scale back on my business with them, have been using JEGS and ClassicIndustries more often now.
Ordered a tire inflator which doesn't work, apparently when you return an item you are responsible for the cost of shipping. Tried to get through to customer service with no success, then tried to sign in to my account online to address the issue... Also with no success. Horrible!

After receiving the wrong radiator and still not having the correct one, I got a refund from LM Performance. It was not LM's fault but they drop ship from Max Performance, the Cold Case manufacturer. I then ordered a Cold Case radiator from Summit Racing. They had it in stock and I received it in two days. There is something to be said for a retailer that has the products you are looking for in inventory.
Core Return. Here I thought that I was getting a reasonable deal buying my BCM through Summit but when it is all done I paid more than if I would have bought it locally. The gentleman on the phone who sold it to me that I would be getting a return shipping label for returning my core, but what he failed to tell me was that the cost of the label would be deducted from my core charge value. That is a total BS statement. In short just stay away for this place. I should have read the reviews before I ordered so be smarter than me and read the review and RUN.
I have bought from Summit Racing for years they have gone to hell. Customer service is horrible Brock is a $#*! no fax machine. Note while talking to customer service they want all information as all dumb $#*! retailers. I use a Moroso Vacuum system, and some where misplaced my shim pack. Talking with the sales rep. I was put on hold. The sales rep soon returned with the news that Moroso doesn't sell the shims. BUT, some one that my sales rep talked with while on hold said he had some and would send me what I was looking for. Now if that is not going the extra mile, I must be missing something. Ordered $80 in 67 Camaro rocker moldings plus $20 for oversized shipping. Might as well shipped it in a paper bags. Came all bent with no special labeling. Ended up getting refund but they tried keeping my shipping cost saying I ordered a can of paint with it. Told them the can wasn't oversized was it? They ended up refunded me that too but ridiculous his they shipped them.

I ordered a gas lid cover for my 2008 trailblazzer. They claimed 3 to 5 days to ship, it, s now week 3? Comming up on 21 days, i could have driven there & back 100 times, very disapointed, will not ever order again, and i suggest you dont etheir, if u want you part that u need in a timely manner
