What a nightmare - and yet, no one at Snaptravel cares... I booked a holiday for my family for a week, was told to print and take snaptravel vouchers and enjoy... only to find out that the hotel I booked DOESN'T EXIST!

Booked, no confirmation

Booked a room, no confirmation sent. I called the credit card company and the charge was on my account. Had to call the hotel directly to confirm I had a room.would not use their service again.

The site will not help you if for some reason the hotel rejects your state issue photo id. Wouldn't refund my last 50 dollars wouldn't help get me another local hotel garbage asf

It was my first time using Snap Travel to book an airline ticket. Thought I give it a try. I had bought an Air Canada ticket from them as my father was sick in India. Unfortunately due to covid19 I was unable to check in at the airport. I called Snap Travel well ahead and told them I can't travel because of the circumstances. I spoke to 3 different representatives and they all advised me that we cannot do anything. I even asked for a voucher, I spent $1300. It was harsh since they should have understood with global issue of travelling and my situation. My father actually passed away days after and I couldn't travel. Finally I reached out to Air Canada ONLY ONCE and they offered for a voucher which would expire in 2yrs. Snap Travel could have done the same but they didn't. I would NOT RECOMMEND SNAP TRAVEL to anyone!

Customers Beware!

I booked a reservation with Super, B_******* at The Restoration, with check-in on 03 Nov 2023. Due to a family emergency, I called to cancel my reservation a few days after the cancellation deadline but well before my check-in date, and was told they would grant me a one time exception if I completed their refund request form and obtained a note from the hotel agreeing to cancel the reservation at no cost. The hotel was happy to oblige and I submitted it along with their form on 10/25. As of 11/10, they have not responded to my emails or processed my refund. When I call, their feedback is they are trying to negotiate the refund with their travel partner, Expedia, but when I call Expedia, they say they are happy to process the refund, but the request has to come from Super, who will not provide any information about when or if they've contacted them. They claim to have expedited the request three separate times and always guarantee me I will hear back by the following day, but that never occurs. This site is a scam and I highly discourage customers from using it. They use other third party travel companies to make the bookings and do not have any affiliation or relationship with the hotels. They claim to not be able to call or email customers unless it's from a manager, and will not call hotels directly or accept calls from them (this was baffling to the hotel when I explained it). I will be filing a small claims case against them if they do not follow through with my refund. Customers beware!

Attention scam! I had booked for 3 nights at San Diego orange cottage tree and the host Carlos never sent us the check-in informations! I call him and he told us that the reservation had not been finalized! But I had a confirmed and paid reservation through the Super.com portal. So I call them and they assured the reservation is confirmed and I can check in! Carlos the host at the end told me that he will send the check-in instructions via email which will never arrive so I can't access the bungalow! Super.com does nothing to help me. They just write me after 2 hours that I can do the checkin because is confirmed but they also told me that they can't contact the host… crazy! So I had to find another accommodation at 1 in the morning! I asked for a refund for the reservation and they replied since it was a non-refundable reservation it was not possible! Truly? Are they joking or are they all scammers? I was unable to use the accommodation because Carlos (Oramge tree cottage) was unavailable for check-in! Two cheats in one! Stay away from this portal and place!

I have used Super Travel countless times in the past and this was the FIRST time I have had a negative experience. I had a reservation in a tiny town that my stay is very dependent on others' actions. I tried to cancel and was informed that there are NO REFUNDS OR MODIFICATIONS. Knowing the nature of my visits, I would never book a room that was non-refundable but the lack of customer service or empathy is beyond me. I will NEVER use.this.service again and would strongly advise others to heed the same warning.

I wanted to cancel my reservation. I contacted the hotel directly and asked them if they could cancel it for me. They said they would gladly do it but the agency whom I booked through has to do it since it was booked through them. I then contacted super.com customer service, who really sounded like she wanted to help me when i told her that the hotel will cancel my reservation if your company reaches out to them. Soon as I told her that she cut me off saying she can't help me anymore. First they lied about the cancelation being the hotels policy but when I told her that the hotel has no such policy and willing to cancel it through them. Seems she was not happy and wanted to end the chat right away. Never never again. I was really happy and was about to recommend friends and family and was going to use them for my other 3 vacations that are coming up really soon. Glad I found out before they could've done more damage to my family and friends. Pls stay away. Pay the extra 20 to $30 and do it with other wonderful and trustworthy company out there.

Let me start by saying that we don't use third party booking sites. When a recent planned trip was met with frustration trying to find an available room from our usual hotels, we accepted the booking to an unfamiliar property through Reservation Stay/SnapTravel. The hotel booking made on September 11 for a stay in early October was for a Clarion Inn in Lancaster, PA and the photos showed a Clarion sign and a typical 2-star hotel. The booking receipt, however, was from Hammock Hotel, while my credit card showed SnapTravel/Clarion Inn… Should have been my first clue that something was amiss.
When we arrived at the destination we were horrified to discover a sign on the door condemning the building as unsanitary and unsafe for habitation dated from September 3. Initial calls to all numbers we could find were fruitless. Ultimately we began an e-mail trail with their Urgent Care team. Instead of acknowledging their error and quickly reimbursing our credit card, they have asked for an invoice from the defunct hotel, an invoice from our alternate choice, and acted like they were the victims. We feel like this is beyond the level of a mere scam and are deciding on our next steps.

The truth

The truth is that Snaptravel is a 100% reliable site. If you use snap travel to book your vacation, you will be able to check into your accommodations without worries. You need to shop with different sites, but 80% of the hotels will be cheaper. We travel regularly and have booked about 50 nights with Snaptravel and 10 nights not with Snaptravel over the past 3 years. Do your research of the final price (not the nightly price) because Snaptravel taxes are usually less than other sites. Over the past few years there have been only a few mishaps: So here is my advice when using Snaptravel.
1. When booking an all inclusive resort. Make sure that you are not picking a room only rate. Make sure that the rate says all inclusive and not room only. Nothing worse than checking into an all inclusive thinking you are getting the food package, and then having to pay for it.
2. When selecting a resort within a resort with added amenities, (like paradises grand Cana or Family Selection palladium) note that there are separate hotel profiles for those sections of the resort. Sometimes, when you book the upgraded resort profile, you end up in the regular downgraded resort room because the room category was not matched up with the correct profile.
Overall, the Customer service team is not very helpful when it comes to resolving issues that arise. One year, we checked out of a hotel early due to a hurricane and we had to send 15 texts and 10 phone calls to Snaptravel to get a refund. (It took 6 weeks to resolve)

For saving money, they are perhaps the best travel website and I've used dozens of various travel sites. I travel weekly. I've never had an overbook or stay issue. ** However, their customer service is not very good at all. You may wait a couple of hours to reach someone. When you do, you can tell they are in another country. But they don't seem to have any knowledge in resolving problems. They just give repeated statements with no research effort. One problem I had since they changed from Snaptravel to Supertravel is the earned $$ you accumulate from your stays. It's connected to your phone #. They now mandate you download their app in order to use those funds you've earned. The app never sends out 4-digit text message to confirm my phone number. Customer Service says it's my phone. The Geek squad at Best Buy went through my phone and other messages and says it is Super.com's app communication that is having the problem. The website can confirm the number and sends me texts all the time (same company). Almost seems like they are trying to keep me (customer) from using my earned $$. It worked fine on the mobile website. Customer Service manager says "no, you have to use a different phone number." I asked why? She said because your phone doesn't work. Sound fishy? The earned $$ is tied to the number that I've been using. If enough people make noise about it they will have to do something.

Again, discounted lodging = the best. Customer service and web support = the bottom.

They are saying we can't do anything about your cancellation even I paid for insurance for my booking
Do not even try to look their fake reviews that someone did on the computer program it's all scammmm start away from this people they have no live agent scammmmmmmmm
