On 11/7/2021 I unknowingly booked a room at DisneyWorld's Swan Hotel through Snap Travel. I thought I was speaking to the hotel itself--the messaging on Google was confusing. My bad, but boy did I pay the price. At 5:30 pm EST on Nov. 7, I booked five nights (2/18-2/23/2021) at the hotel for $393/per night. When the reservation agent was confirming the reservation, I realized that she had mistakenly booked only four nights. She put me on hold for three-four minutes to rebook the extra night, and when she returned she told me that the price had jumped in that period to $487 per night. When I asked her to honor her original price--after all, this was her mistake--she said she couldn't. When I called Snap Travel to complain about this, the agent said she couldn't help and then refused four times to put me through to her manager. This took about fifteen minutes. When she finally did put me through, the manager (Michelle) was unavailable. Then ensued about 10 days of back and forth on phone and by email, with Michelle never answering the phone when I tried to return a missed call. She insisted that she couldn't refund the balance ($470). In the end she gave me a credit of $100. I have rarely waded through such a miasma of horrific service for such an unsatisfactory result. If you care at all about your money, under no circumstances entrust it to this company. To me, they are borderline fraudulent. This review is not only for the Hampton by Hilton Usaquen but also Super.com and Hotelbeds. I will be posting this review under their names also.
I'm a US citizen. I travel to Colombia frequently. I recently stayed at Hampton by Hilton Usaquen Bogota. When I checked my credit card there was a $50 charge I didn't recognize. I expected additional charges because we charged meals to the room. I contacted them to ask what it was and they said it was VAT. It's a tax on Colombian citizens. My wife is Colombian but is a US resident and I showed them her green card. After arguing with them about the charge for over an hour they informed me that Hotelbeds actually charged me the VAT tax. They even sent me an invoice from Hotelbeds. I've never heard of Hotelbeds and there's no way to contact them. I booked with Super.com who apparently uses Hotelbeds as an agent. Now the whole time I'm chatting with the hotel I was also chatting with Super.com who kept insisting I contact the hotel and refused to help me. They never even mentioned Hotelbeds. Finally I got a call from Super.com and the representative had also never heard of Hotelbeds and continued to refuse a refund or help. I'm currently waiting for a super.com supervisor to contact me. But no one will take responsibility or offer a refund for an erroneous charge. I want my $50 dollars back! This review is a warning to travelers. If you use Super.com, or stay at a Hampton by Hilton you can expect to be screwed by Hotelbeds. Check your credit card, not the hotel bill or Super.com invoice because they won't show the VAT fee. Again, I have no problem with the room charge or other charges but I was taken advantage of because I'm an American with a Colombian wife. My advice is to avoid Super.com and Hampton by Hilton. I still have no idea who Hotelbeds is because you must be a business with an account with them to contact them.

We'd like to provide some clarification: Following national tax legislation, Colombian citizens and foreign residents are subject to a 19% VAT. This mandatory tax came into effect on January 1,2023. Super.com complies with this regulation, and the VAT is imposed by the accommodation and the local government, not Super.com.
We source our hotel rooms from a variety of partners including wholesalers to get you the best rates, and we pride ourselves on our access to exclusive deals. This information is included on our website. Your reservation was made through a different platform, not directly on Super.com. It appears you booked through Priceline, and the issue with the VAT might be related to the booking process. Please address this matter with the platform you used for booking, as Super.com doesn't have control over their listing details. If you provided documentation proving you are not a Colombian citizen or resident, the hotel staff should not have collected VAT. The staff should have resolved it with the travel supplier.
We are sorry to hear that was not their approach. We appreciate your understanding, and we recommend reaching out to Priceline to expedite the correction with the hotel.

I booked a room for two nights for my son's volleyball tournament. We were out of state and got to the hotel at 1:15am. They did not have our reservation. Not only that, the hotel only had availability for that night, not both nights. And I had to PAY FOR A WHOLE OTHER ROOM! King suite was only availability. Of course. I call super in the morning, and they tell me I have to send them a copy of the invoice where I paid for an additional room. Why?!? So I contact the hotel, get the invoice and send it in. A week goes by. Nothing. I contact again. They didn't get it. I send it again. Again, why is this relevant whatsoever!? I paid for a room having nothing to do with super. You messed up my reservations, I want my money back. Another week goes by. I've been told by a manager over email they have contacted the hotel to refund me. Then why did I jump though the invoice hoops?!? The hotel acted like they couldn't refund me right then. Then super says they're refunding. We are over a month from my trip, and I STILL do not have my money back. I'm filing a complaint with the better business bureau. I'd need be, I will obtain a lawyer out of principal. I'm out almost $200 and keep getting sent from hotel back to super. With the same answer. You have my money, give it back! My trip was ruined because we had nowhere to stay and slept in our car the second night. Everything was booked. It was a tournament weekend. We got a flat tire just before getting to the hotel and it was downhill from there. A mom and her 15 year old, out of state, stuck in our car for the second night of our trip, and now Super isn't refunding me. Absurd. I will NEVER use this service again. I will do whatever it takes to get this money back. Do better. How ridiculous. I've wasted so much time on this it's absolutely insane. Update, they are unable to find the reservation, just like the hotel, and acting like it's my problem. When I have the invoice. Make it make sense. I want compensated for the hours of time I have spent on this.

They messed up the dates for our reservation. There was no confirmation page nor communication that reservations couldn't be changed or refunded until I got the email where it had the wrong dates. Tried their chat function to fix it but it was very clearly ai robot and copy pasted everything. It took multiple attempts before they finally escalated me to a supervisor who said they would refund me if I got the hotel to email them a confirmation that they've canceled the reservation. I called the hotel and they were happy to help but by their policy they do not send out confirmation emails to third parties due to it being forgable and said that they only needed to call them and they would confirm the cancelation. Called back and told them this and they refused trying to say they could not make phone calls only recieve them. When I pointed out their supervisor called me I was put on hold for about the 4th time. They argued with me about the hotel's policy even though I explained to them what the manager told me. They still refused and lied straight to my face about not being able to make calls out. They tried blaming me for everything. Even though I had screenshoted proof otherwise. They are horrible in every possible way. They fringe sympathy and then stick you on hold whenever they don't want to deal with you. Not worth it. Spend the bit extra to go through a better site like the hotels actual site or experian. They are scammers through and through
