“Received Full Payment”

A J.
12/29/19

I DID finally receive full payment. All total I have made $645.00 since early OCtober 2019. Their customer service has been consistent, taking 48 hours to respond. I do hope they continue to provide surveys for me to complete. I will post a monthly update. Happy New Year!

“BS Woke Liberal Surveys”

Gregg M.
10/12/24

Get ready for nothing but anti-conservative surveys that glorify liberals and spread false narratives in an effort to sway those who must be senile or brain dead. And good luck sending in pics of your driver's license or passport, along with a selfie, in order to get any type of compensation. You're lucky if you can make $10 a day while giving up your personal information nonstop.

This is probably the worst survey site I've ever had the misfortune to be part of, froze account after weeks of taking surveys with money still owed for surveys and participation competition after changing my demographics, I'm guessing they have a problem with me being both white and Cuban, they accused me of lying which I didn't, demanded that I fill out a post card, which never came, even *******@PayPal does extensive varication on you including address, they did however keep the money they owed me for doing surveys, by the looks of it I'm not alone in that, so now I'll just keep sending their money tree's emails until every one of their customers see what a scam this is, it's not going to hurt my feelings one bit if their corporate supporters loose a ton of business in the meantime, after all they stole from me I will not feel bad for doing great damage to them in return.

I joined SurveyJunkie less than a month ago and already made over $50. They only have surveys, no pop ups or ads. There's always a good supply of surveys to try. Unlike other survey sites, they almost always give you a few points even if you're not accepted. Most surveys are about consumer products, but I've done some very interesting and thought provoking ones, including use of nuclear weapons and improving health care. Sometimes they show videos or photos of ads and ask for opinions on what you liked about the ad, or what you didn't like. Customer service is great. Whenever I've asked a question (using their contact form) I usually receive an answer the next day. I like the promotions where if you answer 3 surveys a day of 10 points or more for 8 days within a couple of weeks you get an extra $5. Some surveys are short and others take a lot longer - you can't always tell by how long they say the survey will take, but you're always told how many points you'll get for each survey. I've tried other survey sites, but have found SurveyJunkie to be the best for picking up some extra cash, and for giving my opinions on timely subjects.

You do a whole survey. Oops! Seems it's filled up! But we'll give you 3 points just for trying (3¢) you don't mind it, youre grinding. It's to be expected a lot more times but you still put lots of brain power into answering cuz the surveys are rly good at telling when you're just skimming through them. You finally get to 5 dollars... 5 bucks. Wowza. After days of work on this app. What's this? Verify who I am? Ok? What's this? Apparently my address doesn't exist? And after using every possible way of typing an address into that bar I gave up. I use a phone which might limit my options as to how many surveys I get but either way you are gonna have this happen to you. Something will go wrong, time will be wasted, they put you in a bad mood because 98% of the surveys kick you off or fail after tons of time you spend on each one just to get nothing back.

TLDR:
98% of the surveys will fail you. Points are impossible to redeem. Customer service is 1/10 according to other reviews.

Worked hard to earn enough points to finally redeem for the first time. Clicked to redeem and was instead told they needed to "verify my identity." As instructed, entered my phone number to receive a texted code to input on their website. Code never came. Tried again, Code never came. Emailed customer service no less than 5 times. Twice they "reset the system" and asked me to re-enter my phone number. Once they said the system was experiencing errors and requested I try again. I did everything they said and nothing worked. I asked if there was an alternate method to verify. No response.

After a final attempt, a failure, and another email to support asking for help, they responded that I had "reached the maximum verification attempts allowed and we could not verify you with the information you provided. We cannot allow members to redeem if they are not verified."

Are. You. Kidding. Me.

If there is their standard practice, then they're really going to just rake it in by repeatedly duping people into taking a bunch of surveys up front, never "verifying" them, and then never having to compensate anyone for the work they surely passed along to the businesses who hired them to do their research

Absolute scam. Highly recommend staying far away.

The surveys often will take you through several minutes of questions before it says you don't qualify. Or you will complete the entire survey and receive the message; sorry this survey is full. Or, you'll complete the entire survey after reading all of the questions and being totally honest with your answers, and you'll receive the message; sorry it didn't work out, be sure to take your time and be truthful with your answers. It's like they penalize you for being a speedy reader, and I find it very insulting to insuate that I wasn't being truthful. It is really difficult to make any meaningful amount of money with these surveys. But if you enjoy taking surveys and aren't in it for the money, maybe this would be a good way to pass your time.

I have been a survey respondent on this site for a couple of years and everything worked just like other survey sites, you win some, you lose some. Unfortunately, over the past few months something has changed. It's harder to qualify for surveys, some surveys ask for personal information then thank you for your time without sending you back to the SJ landing page. My biggest turnoff was when I spent 45 minutes on a survey, I was thanked for my time, then nothing. I knew it was pointless contacting customer service because they have a standard response. It is outside of their control.
SJ used to be the best in getting better matches so that you could at least make a buck or two but that has changed significantly. I stopped taking surveys for a while because of my negative experience, but may try again only with surveys that do not take up a lot of my time. 10 minutes I can lose, but I will not attempt those longer surveys as it can be a waste of time and a health hazard raising my blood pressure.

Since I have chosen to write HONEST reviews on them on this site I have now suddenly VIOLATED AT LEAST ONE " of their terms and they are not going to pay me the $24.29 US they owe me. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SITE! I promise you--they start out great but rip you off at some point take my word.

Customer service is non-existent

As you can see from from my previous review I was awaiting "comensation pending" from SEVEN surveys I fully completed. Because I was concerned with losing my other already awarded points I decided to redeem them which turned out to be a HUGE mistake because once I redeemed the SEVEN " compensation pending" awards were suddenly no long "pending" and of course I wasn't paid. And since I have complained to them suddenly i am no longer QUALIFYING for 98% of the surveys I have attempted. This company seems to think they can not pay you for surveys you have HONESTLY completed and then justify it by saying they give you 0.02 cents for SOME { about 1/2 at most} of the surveys you attempt but do not qualify for. I am sure many frustrated people don't make the effort to follow up with these issues. Most of these survey companies treat us like crap with low payouts to start with but Survey Junkie actually rips people off after they TRULY completed surveys. Other outfits like Swagbucks actually look into your concerns and if they find them legit and honest they credit you. Not Survey Junkie although to be fair they dio pay you quicker and you only need to reach $10.00 to get a payout but I figure they have hosed me of over $20.00 in situations like this and they have NOT ONCE credited me, ZERO customer service from Survey Junkie.

Stay away from Survey Junkie

This site started off good. Payouts are in US funds and go quickly to your PayPal account. For a while everything was good but recently this site has been terrible. The following are my issues.
1) I have FULLY COMPLETED 7 surveys in the last 6 weeks but after having received notice that I had finished I was not paid and received a notice saying "compensation is pending"
2) after writing them each time I receive the EXACT SAME reply word for word saying the exact same thing. Waited the 7 days they told me to but still nothing. You write them back and you get the exact same reply. Word for word but no payout.
3) I got frustrated and cashed out what I was owed minus of course " the pending compensation" payments.
4) after I was paid the other $$ they owed me suddenly the " pending compensation " payments disappeared meaning they got all my answers FOR FREE.
5) when i wrote them again guess what - you know it. I got the EXACT SAME reply word for word. I am sure they simply press a button.
6). It is now at the point I am afraid to complete a survey for this company for fear of simply receiving a " compensation pending" response and no payout.
7) This company does NOT SUPPORT its hard working people. They get their answers and pay you SOME of the time.

I would clearly steer clear of this site as their methods are suspect at best. I do not write this review lightly as I did like this site in the past but they give me little choice given their lack of communication and support. Beware to any new people who wish to try them.

The survey is boring and repeat. The survey does not use your profile data but repeat each time. They are more personal data collector rather than any useful surveys. The surve junkie alsol find any execuse to deny your payment. It is boring and not any benefit on participate.

Start from the beginning. I had an iPhone and the frame is so small that it was hurt my eyes so I went out and got an iPod because the print bigger well I told him about it and once I got the iPod running. I deleted off my phone the app for survey junkie while I was on my iPad. I'm not too mechanically inclined with computers I had like 1400 points on it and somehow it disappeared so I got another email to start logging on made 450 points and then I was seven I found the other one in my trash mail well I told them about that. They were both on the same tablet same email and once I get the 451 up to 500 where I can cash it in I did and I close that account out on my iPad. I told him about that and then I wrote back to me, so which one do you want and I wrote to him told him that I want the one on the iPod, oh then I didn't hear nothing from him so I wrote him a letter and I found out I was blocked. So I think I was just Lee treated unfair personally. I wasn't trying to pull a fast one or anything night. I let them know what I was doing. I mean I enjoy doing a Surveys. They quite a little a lot of money on it but I still think it was right at what I did John Cabe

More times than not, when you click on a survey, it says the survey is either a) closed or b) not qualified to complete the survey. I can understand that. The only issue I have is sometimes you're halfway through a survey, you spend 10+ minutes answering questions only to get a message right in the middle saying "oh, you're not qualified to do this survey" then it kicks you off mid-survey and you end up getting 0 points. Sometimes you'll get 2-3 pity points from survey junkie just for clicking on it, but kicking you off halfway through a survey is a horrible waste of time. Also, unless you're on it hour after hour, it could take you all day or multiple days just to earn $5 which isn't a lot, but hey, $5 is more than $0. I got my $5 today only because I signed up and they give you bonus points for signing up. Each survey can be between 10-75 points if you complete it. Some more. Most of the higher-point surveys are closed by time you click on them, though. All ask for your zip code, age, birthday, and state you live in. Some ask for your address, but I avoid those.

Horrible. I saw this $#*! on Craigslist "make $200 a day doing surveys!" This is total bull$#*!. You make pennies on the hour. They offer hundred point surveys, but you NEVER qualify for them, they just dangle it in front of your face to make sure you KNOW they are there, but in reality, your never going to be able to get it. Also, I cannot tell you how many surveys I spent 20 minutes on only to be told I didn't qualify for the survey (for like 40 cent ones even)... HOW DID I NOT QUALIFY I JUST TOOK THE SURVEY! They do NOT want to pay anyone out, good luck trying to cash out once you've spent 3 days earning a total of 10 bucks. This $#*! is a SCAM

Everyone is having trouble redeeming money from Survey junkie. Well let me help my account was out for about 3 months I couldn't redeem any money from Survey junkie. I sent many emails and complaints as it looked like they solved the problem & looks like it would let me redeem until I actually verified my account and I'll always get something about 7 business days. I'm here to help everybody that's having problems with Survey junkie and how to redeem money with all these problems. First send an email to survey junkie from you and complain about what's been going on for you. It shall say something about giving you a call in 15 min or so but that not true so I have the number, call *******135 & tell them you would like to verify your survey junkie account make sure you call them from the number you used to sign up or whatever number they used to call you in 15 minutes. Give them your correct name and email that you signed up with. & tell them your redeem Balance and you should be able to redeem right away as soon as they send an email to your gmail. Thank you & I'm sorry for the problems everybody has been gone experiencing. ( Must Read)
