“Received Full Payment”

A J.
12/29/19

I DID finally receive full payment. All total I have made $645.00 since early OCtober 2019. Their customer service has been consistent, taking 48 hours to respond. I do hope they continue to provide surveys for me to complete. I will post a monthly update. Happy New Year!

“BS Woke Liberal Surveys”

Gregg M.
10/12/24

Get ready for nothing but anti-conservative surveys that glorify liberals and spread false narratives in an effort to sway those who must be senile or brain dead. And good luck sending in pics of your driver's license or passport, along with a selfie, in order to get any type of compensation. You're lucky if you can make $10 a day while giving up your personal information nonstop.

The site asks you up front to provide some basic demographic information so it can send you the right surveys, but most of those surveys ask you for the same demographic information over and over again and then disqualify you at various points as you're completing the survey - often midway or even further along. Many more will tell you that you don't qualify or "this survey just filled up" - and that happens way too many times to be true - or this site is posting fake surveys so you won't stop visiting to look for the real ones.
A lot of the longer surveys lure you into answering questions for 10-20 minutes, then suddenly kick you out - again, "this survey just filled up" seems to be very common. It's very frustrating to put that much time into a task and then get paid nothing for it
The time estimates on the home page are only about 50% accurate- many, many of the surveys take far longer than the duration listed on the home page. This is especially a problem with the surveys that claim they will take less than 10 minutes. (The ones that say they will take 3 or 4 or 5 minutes? Those are almost always 10 minutes or more)
The site is very slow to load surveys, so you have to consider that additional time as well.
The site does pay, as promised, but a 20-point survey only pays 20 cents, and all the surveys for which you don't qualify / or "have filled up" offer you only 2 points or none at all, so at the end of the day, it's not worth the time you put into the surveys and it's definitely not worth the time you waste on surveys that cheat you

Tip for consumers:
More transparency re: actual time it takes to take surveys and earlier disqualification would be a big improvement. Some of the surveys are very interesting and make you think, which I enjoy

After being scammed out of points when honestly completing surveys, I now answer each and every survey as dishonestly as possible. It's much more fun this way!

While other survey sites have the same issue with repeatedly asking the same questions in a survey (I've given my age, education level etc 3 times in many surveys), Survey Junkie has a SERIOUS problem with surveys that have you spend extensive amounts of time answering all kinds of helpful questions for the survey gatherer before they then say, "Oh, this survey is full," or "Oh, sorry, you don't qualify." Again, after gleaning A LOT of valuable information.

Even worse, woe to you if you answer quickly because then they will tag you as someone who is "not being honest," or "not taking the survey seriously." As just ONE example, the other day I spent 20 minutes answering questions, evaluating products and ads, etc before they then punked out on rewarding me and gave the crap listed above.

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS SITE!

Every thing in these posts is so true, this company is total RIP OFF/SCAM/DEAD BEAT PAYER!. Over a year I have to tried to cash out three different times for different amounts. Each time I get a BS story that my phone # is blocked & can't be verified, my account is not active or has been deactivated, blah, blah! Anything to keep you from your money. It usually took me 3 weeks to get a payment sent to my Paypal account. NO other survey sight I deal with tortures you like this, especially if you are using Paypal.

Have been doing surveys for 4 months and then suddenly they said " I violated one of their terms or conditions."
I have been completely honest in my surveys and contacted them about " WHAT" I had violated, they never answered. They let you do surveys long enough until you really start earning money and then you'll see your screen say " No surveys available" and then they'll say you violated a term. SCAM COMPANY. PLEASE BEWARE OF SURVEYS JUNKIE!

This asks you the SAME demographic questions (which should just be stored in the site and given to surveys on your behalf?!) over and over and over and over and then just tells you you're not a match for this survey - EVERY time.

I have been using SJ for a few months because I developed agoraphobia and needed a main source of income, this worked for the time being. Here's everything you need to know from my experience.

One, if a survey site does not work, they will continue to keep it up for people to waste their time on
(Today alone I have had 7 surveys not pay me even though I completed them all)

Two, Even if you have screenshotted proof that you got screwed over by a survey, it's not guaranteed you will get your owed pay.

Three, I have sent out professional emails to the company and to a specific survey site. SJ responded and legitimately told me "that's the survey sites issue, we can't fix that" than why are you sponsoring their surveys? The other survey site ignored my email and is still taking peoples answers and giving them nothing in return.

Four, Any survey over 100 points (or $1 in real cash) almost never works once you've been on the site for a month or so. Those surveys will either close their own tab automatically, or you will get a message saying you was lying or being dishonest before you even get into the survey.

Yes, this site will pay you money, but they sponsor surveys that will take and sell your answers whilst purposefully undermanaging their own site so they don't have to pay you. Today alone I have wasted over 4 hours on surveys that has paid me NOTHING.

Attached below is a screenshot of SJ responding to one of my many complaints where I completed a survey and didn't get paid. Read that response. See how much they care, because they don't.

Survey Junkie is great. I use it all the time and can easily cash out once I reach the $10.00 threshold. I always get my payment instantly via Paypal.

Tip for consumers:
You might get rejected from a lot of surveys at first, but keep going and you'll reach the payout threshold in no time.

This site will seem good at first, but it will beat you down as soon as you get to the 1000 point mark, with it's rediculous verification process, that seems incapable of verifying basic information.

This site should be shut down. Even thought they claim that you can take unlimited surveys, they will start putting your earnings in a "pending confirmation" status if they feel you are making too much money (for me a whole $30) that they will have to pay out. They are ranked 79th on this site for a reason. It starts off well enough, I was able to reach and cash out $5 twice. Then yesterday I was home sick so I figured I would do something to fill my time. I guess they decided that I was making too much money because towards the end of the day, I received the whole "no surveys available, check back in a few hours" and I just checked again now and it still says that. Many surveys will conveniently "fill up" after you have spent some time working on them and give you. 03 for your time. You will also get "you are going too fast" warnings when you haven't done anything except try to open a new survey. The people on here leaving positive reviews just haven't been cut off yet LOL, because I thought it was a great site too until they blocked me for no reason. I luckily had just cashed out the last balance I had before they blocked me from taking any more surveys. I still have no communication as to why this happened, I can just assume from the M. O. of what other people have posted on here and other places online.

It's a great site surveys are great you can cash out at 5$ but I only have one problem that bugs me sometimes when I do a survey or start one I get rejected and this message pops up saying you been disqualified for breaking one of our rules eta I awnsered honesty I never lie in my questions what rule did I break everything I put in my questions are truthful I don't mind the 2 or 3 pts at least I can save them it's the breaking rules message that always seem to pop up I been using this site for years and I always successfully cashed out I hate for them to lose someone who is loyal and is happy to be with a survey company who isn't run by scam artists who refuse to pay for surveys that means you branded surveys and crowd tap both are not whom I recommend they'll ban you soon enough when you get close to cashing out but survey junkie is great just wish they would let me finish my surveys though.

As many other reviewers have stated, Survey Junkie seems great when you start out, then gradually the problems start. First there's the occasional 30 minute survey you will complete, only to be returned to Survey Junkie with a message: "Sorry. You did qualify for that survey."
Really? I saved the last page's URL and took a screenshot saying its complete and contacted Survey Junkie. After three times of this happening and getting a response basically saying "Tough $%^. Them's the breaks. You lose," I stopped writing them. Since then I have had my account disabled once allegedly due to 'rushing answers' (I actually use a timer during surveys, so i know this is not true). Now more have 50% of surveys I take are disqualified after completion, or after i spend 25-30 minutes on one.
This is very frustrating, especially as other companies such as Mint Vine have credited me for any survey i have had a problem with. Also, what exactly happens to the long surveys I complete and don't get credited for? I suspect they are still used. With Survey Junkie you take your chances. Be prepared to take a lot of surveys and only get credited for a fraction.

I spent a few days not-qualifying for a lot of their surveys. But I finally racked up the required 1000 point minimum in order to redeem. And that's when all of the trouble started.
First, they wanted to verify my account. Which was shifty enough as it was; they already have not one but TWO of my email accounts. Why do they need to know my name, my ADDRESS, and my PHONE NUMBER?
I finally managed to get things verified... Only for surveyjunkie to tell me "paypal is not available for this account". So off to their awful customer service to complain about this.
I was surprised by how quickly that they responded, but fell into even further irritation over their response: they needed to call me. Like things like email or text messages don't exist or anything.
I asked why. To verify.
But they've already verified my account. With my phone. Upon their insistence.
That was with TEXT MESSAGE. They want to CALL me to verify me. Which, stressing again, I have already done.
I asked them how I was supposed to respond to a call when I literally cannot hear anything.
The response came, yet again, fairly quickly. The person was rude and belligerent towards me and failed to respond following that.

This company does not care anything about handing out money. They're probably going to sell my name, address, and phone number to the first million companies that offer them one corn chip in exchange. I wish that I hadn't given them my real address, but it was the only thing that the stupid website would accept.

At least they don't have my real name.

Although I believe Survey Junkie to be legit and try to provide a fair and honest venue for surveys, after doing hundreds of surveys with them I've found several companies that outright do not play fair.
In the last three days alone, I've encountered three completed surveys, and I mean completed and was then told I didn't qualify,
Of course to these companies it effects there bottom line when selling there information and not rewarding 10/20/30% of there surveys they didn't reward to people doing the surveys.
Guess the question is, who all know about it?
It's one thing to answer 10/15/20 questions and be removed, and another to answer 20/150/200 questions, COMPLETE THE SURVEY and get the magic boot.

So I have been on Survey Junkie for months and would get on a few times a day and do a couple of surveys. Recently, I had an unpleasant experience with a survey, which after submitting and stating I had completed survey, and in the allotted time specified, did not credit me. So I contacted customer service. They credited me, but said I was actually disqualified from that survey. Survey notices have always stated if I qualified or disqualified, and this particular one did not. Instead it stated I completed it, and requested I submit it, but still didn't credit me. After this, when I signed onto Survey Junkie from this day on, no surveys showed up over 100 points on my dashboard, and also the emailed survey opportunity notices of 1 minute surveys would not open any longer. I believe Survey Junkie limits your opportunities at their discretion, and it's not based on qualifying for each survey. This is a deceitful practice. I will be reviewing them unfavorably based on this practice on different forums.

Used to be great but lately in the past few months it has gotten worse. A lot of the surveys cheat you out of your points I have spent numerous times doing a survey spend like 15 to 30 minutes doing the survey then it just stops and sends you back to the main page and you get some message about you didn't qualify for the survey and you don't get the points! Seriously after spending all that time answering all the questions and you don't get your points. I have even had a few surveys pop up with the message sorry you don't qualify for this survey before it evens loads! I have contacted customer care about these issues and all they say is that they are not responsible for the surveys and what happens during the time you are taking the survey but they are in constant contact with the survey companies but yet all these issues keep getting worse and nothing is getting better... I just was doing a survey worth 100 points and the survey was for 20 minutes I did the whole 20 minutes then it asked me some way off question about something that didn't even pertain to the survey I was taking and then that is when it goes to the error page saying sorry I didn't qualify here is 3 points for your time... Fix the issues! Other wise it would be a great site to make a little extra money on the side.

I sometimes wonder why I took the time filling out all of that profile information when I never qualify for any of the surveys I do get. It's been nothing but expired surveys and ones I've already completed or topics I've already indicated I care nothing about.

I don't drink alcohol, I don't watch television, I don't use social media, I don't care about sports - so, basically, I don't get to complete any surveys.

The ones I do manage to take will either abruptly end, accusing me of being dishonest/inconsistent/rushing, or I reach the end of 20 minutes spent answering to be told the survey's full and I don't get Jack $#*! for my time.

Some days I can spend hours attempting to complete or even qualify for a single survey and walk away with mere pennies of a pittance when the site yet again fails to properly match me with one I can spend more than 10 seconds before being told the rest of the survey will not be relevant.

If you're looking for a beer money hobby along these lines, I'd recommend Branded Surveys or some-such over this site. Not a single issue since I signed up at the same time last year, and I actually managed to casually rack up $700+ to Survey Junkie's pitiful $150~ in only a couple hours per four or five days a week ever since then.

I started using Survey Junkie around April or May of 2022, and at first it seemed like it was worthwhile. Yes there were constant screen outs, but in general I was qualifying for probably one in every three surveys, and I was making what I considered decent money. However this year, 2023, I think I've only made ten or fifteen dollars, because I can never qualify for surveys.

I'm not sure what changed, if they're just not getting worthwhile surveys, or what. But I can attempt twenty surveys and not qualify for any of them. It's a complete waste of time. I just counted, and of the last forty surveys I've attempted, I was able to finish two of them. And they don't even pay out that much, I would be lucky to make even a dollar an hour.

I've switched to using Qmee and Prime Opinion, and I can usually qualify for over half of their surveys, and I tend to make at least three dollars an hour on either of them. There are some days where I can get over five or six dollars an hour on them.

TL/DR: Survey Junkies used to be good when they were one of the few games in town. Now, they're just terrible, both in rates of qualification, and the amount they pay out when you do qualify.
