Everything on motor has failed. Trying to get help from customer service sucks you will be hung up on by a guy named Scott. He told me he was the supervisor incharge off all department and that my QUESTIONS about my purchase were BS then he hung up on me. 1200 purchase will get you disrespected by this company if you have an issue with the warranty or to verify the serial # or what heating tabs are that only they put on he sais.

I bought a used engine from this company for my truck and the mechanic installed it but it failed to work. This company sold me a faulty engine and when I proceeded to call them in the warranty department; it was such a poor experience the support team could not help at all and the manager never returned my calls. This company is a SCAM, DO NOT buy from them as they will cheat you the same way as they did to me.

Just purchased a 4 cylinder ranger motor

Motor was laying sideways on broken pallet
Oil all over backside of block
Called customer service waited 20 minutes and finally got through to a supervisor in warranty
Gave me the run through about that was the customers issue to deal with leaking gaskets
This motor had no quality inspection
I have 40 years in the business
I should know
Here's the kicker
The core has to be returned by there so called pickup service
I was sent an email that said there shipping cost would be to much and I could keep the core and I'm out 350 dollars
This is not in the advertisement
I think I have a lawsuit
Seeing I've got his text email and number
This is so wrong
Do not ever buy from these people

Purchased an engine, 2.2ltr. For Chevy HHR. First engine shipped to wrong address 500 miles away. When I finally got it I started to change the oil and found water in the oil. Engine no good. Called up and they said second engine to be sent. Second engine has terrible compression, #1 110,#2 75,#3 30,#4 105. This could never be considered tested and serviceable. Didn't realize engine had to be installed by ASE shop. Now Ihave to pay an ASE shop to diagnose. Called warrenty they hung up.

Did not replace my engine after I bought them extended warranty after they gave me a bad engine four months later after receiving a 2006 Ford Mustang engine purchasing a extended warranty on top of the regular warranty they would not replace the engine they did not give me a good excuse and hung up in my face for no reason they also lied about the mouse that was on the engine they told me 58,000 miles and come to find out that was not true they are liars and crooks

Very professionally organized scammers!
They make $$$$ from your cancellation!
They won't ship it your purchase 3-4 weeks and you won't even get any shipping update! Then you have no choice "You going to cancel this purchase" They will keep 25% of your $$$$ and you need to make big fight to get other 75% of $$$ you paid for it. THATS HOW THEY WORK!
Just stay from this guys.! I paid $1700 for the 2001 Legacy engine… I figure out I won't get this engine! ( They will keep lie to you about shipping) actually they want ship anything to you! You have no choice! You going to cancel and they will get 25% cancellation fee from what you paid for the Engine or transmission! JUST STAY FROM THIS GUYS!

FINAL UPDATE... NY STATE consumer affairs protection bureau is officially involved... been 35 days, continue to say shipping tomorrow every day. Now I asked for refund and it has a box to check that they will keep 25%, HELL NO, I DONT THINK SO! ABSOLUTELY DO NOT BUY FROM THESE CROOKS!

Sent rusty dirty engine. Looks like was in a swamp. Called back 4 times to get it replaced. Had to engage my bank to the money back. Do not buy from them

I placed an order for the engine on 3/9/21. Was sent an email saying 7-14 days. As of 4/5/21 I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED RHE THE ENGINE or any kinda of communication about shipping. When I call I'm sent to the shipping department and they keep telling me the same thing " It's being packaged for shipment". Mind you they told me this exactly a week ago. This was a terrible decision to order from this place because now I feel like I have to track someone down and that's not successful.

This People are scammers i have no idea how they remain selling junk for high prices the person in charge of warranties a nasty man that no one can talk too They send the wrong engines junk and they void you guaranty do not even attempt to buy here i made a big mistake with this crooks BIG WARNING DO BOT BUY HERE I paid $1200 for what it was suppose to be a engine for a pick up S10 instead they send a Cavalier engine with low compression they do not test for compression they send me junk filed a claim with credit card and will report to BBB VERY DISGUSTED with this people save your time and money

I spent almost $3000 on a motor that was advertised with 26,000 miles on it. The motor they sent said 29,000. The motor was ceased up broken parts all over it. Don't waste your time leaving a message they will not call you back! Warranty department said read the fine print! Plus the motor only turned 180° froze. They argued once they got motor and said it wasn't the motor they shipped. After I told them my attorney will be contacting you and you'll be paying more than the $3000 refund! My refund was in my account the next day! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY THEY SHIP JUNKYARD MOTORS THAT SIT OUTSIDE! THEY WILL SCAM YOU OUT OF YOUR MONEY BEWARE!

SWEngines represented that they had the engine I purchased in stock, which they did not. Consequently, it took several weeks for the engine to be delivered.
Their advertised warranty is a sham. They advertise 5/50. The fine print reveals that the warranty must be activated within 10 days of DELIVERY - VERY UNREASONABLE!

It's been a month and still no engine. They took my $$ and now I'm stuck in the loop of endless of call center hold. I think I've been scammed $3200.

I bought a used 6.6L LB7 Duramax diesel engine with an advertised mileage of 93,000 miles. What showed up is an engine with 293,000 miles. They refuse to refund a portion of the purchase price and they refuse to cover the cost of replacement. They are resposibile for significantly loweing the value of my vehicle and refuse to make me whole. The next call is to an attorney.

FIRST OF ALL, THEY GET THEIR ENGINES FROM JUNKYARDS STRAIGHT OUT OF VEHICLES NOT TESTED, CLEANED OR ANY OF THE BS THEY TELL U ON THE PHONE, I PAID 3,000 FOR A MOTOR THAT WAS IN WORST CONDITION THAN THE ONE IN MY VEHICLE, IT TOOK 6 WEEKS TO GET TO ME AND CAME ON A BROKEN BALLET, WITH NO PROTECTION WHAT SO EVER ONLY THING SECURING THE MOTOR TO THE PALLET WAS 2 METAL STRAPS, THE OIL PAN WAS THRU THE PALLET, AND BASHED IN FROM THE SHIPPING COMPANY TRYING TO GET THE FORKLIFT FORKS THRU. CALLED THEM AND SEND PHOTOS TRYING TO RETURN THE MOTOR AND ARE CURRENTLY GETTING THE RUN AROUND, WILL UPDATE AGAIN SOON.

Engine was damaged during shipping and delayed for 6 weeks. Also upon arrival it had an inoperable cylinder -Zero customer service

This company false advertises engines & Transmissions that a junk. They use multiple company names such as, Engine & Transmission World (& Team), Jasper, SW Engines, Quality Used Engines & Transmission(& also Team), Gear Head Engines, Engine Shopper LLC, and many more!

They send bad engine (RUSTED, hydrocarbon issues), don't refund for core, IF you get a 2nd engine They don't pay for the labor to have their bad engine replaced! They claimed I never did the warranty although I called them several times a day (hang ups, transfer to, no one answers) for 6 months now. I WONT STOP!

It's all a SCAM & THEY NEED TO BE STOPPED!

Read the reviews and you will find the links. People are getting ripped off everywhere. Multiple lawsuits and I'm working with the DA.
