I've had T-Mobile for 5+ years now and I've found that while mistakes are sometimes made, (usually during ill-advised store visits) their phone based customer service is very good at making up for it. Any time I have called them with an issue they have been very quick to correct it and to give me some kind of compensation or perk to make up for the loss. While the website has had a few issues in the past with user-friendliness, they have made regular improvements over the years that help immensely. If you demand perfection constantly, not the carrier for you, but if you have a tiny bit of patience, they do come through in the long run.

Phones are junk and they then charge you to restock their junk. In store makes a sale and then cant help you with anything and believe me...you WILL have problems. Customer service? Our entire family had TM phones and now are completely disgusted with the "service". Plan on spending hours on the phone as you get put on hold, swapped around, cut off over and over again, and get told something different with every call. Have had constant glitches with the GPS, volume, camera lens etc etc etc. They used to be worth the extra money every month but NO good reasons to stay with them anymore. Steer clear.

Y'all be careful with TMobile. They like to draft money from your bank account that's NOT authorized after you close your account and clear it with them 4 months later. When you call they say they will escalate the refund and have it in 1-3 days, but never get it back.

I closed my account and paid my last bill 2 months ago as my daughter added me to her plan. I got a collections notice on my credit report for $27. I never received this bill and it's in collections and lowered my credit score by 30 points. I tried to contact the company and it was useless. They told me to go to the store. Will NOT use T Mobile again.

Spent 2 hours on the phone to hear that I need to come into a store. Totally unacceptable. They allowed the activation fee to be waived. I asked if I go in person will they waive it and they said no. Horrible service, do not go with T-Mobile.

I have to say the attractive advertising of tmobile internet had me hooked. I mean anything to get rid of over priced Comcast is music to my pocketbook. Unfortunately, the customer service has to be the most annoying I've ever encountered. Someone has to rewrite the idiotic scripts they read from and stop all the time wasting redundancy. I am a 15 yr tmobile customer and I've had enough. Thanks... no thanks!

First I'm been with T mobile for almost 11 years. I get a upgrade foe one of my lines,and trade in my old phone. 14 months later I realized I have a extra line on my account, so I question it,and the TEAM MEMBER told me of said line. And informed me I would not be reimbursed for the overcharge! That's really unfair t charge someone for something they don't have or know about. What do you do?

Yes I think it's totally UNFAIR to charge customers for something they don't have,and nit reimburse them for over charged item. Complete BS

I purchased their services for a limited time and when I switched, they did not release my info to the new company and allow the transfer until a day after the billing cycle started again. So they charged me for a whole month, for nothing, me having no service at all. When I called and asked for a supervisor, they said they will call back. It never happened. They sent my bill to a collection agency!
Stay away if you can. Customer service is there to lie to you and take your money.

You have 2 be really bad to be worst than Sprint. Can not get a t-mobile ID, 10 reps attempted with no success. Cannot see bill or usage. New service and bill is going 2 old sprint service address. Rep dont listen and talk over u, no wonder why they cant fix the problem. Two house from me has unlimited home internet, one rep will say sure I'll sign you up, just 2 transfer 2 another rep tht will say sorry it's not available in your area. This is the worst cell/internet experience thus far. Verizon high but hands down the best services. Spectrum exactly way they say $29.99. T-mobile claims so much and doesn't deliver., service not the best in NC. I'm so done.

T-Mobile customer service is the worst that I have ever experienced in my life and I am older. They got me to sign up for a promotion and for one year I have been fighting to get the benefit of the promotion. They always say they will call me back with an update and they never call back. It is always something with these people. Once my lease on the phone is up I will be moving away from T-Mobile and don't recommend this company to anyone.

Their prepaid service hasn't been great but I've been able to tolerate it until recently. Suddenly the visual voicemail doesn't work anymore and then I can't even access voicemail via the keypad. It said I had no valid voicemail when I entered all the information it required.
Calling customer care will get you almost nowhere because T-Mobile doesn't give their reps the ability to solve anything. Voicemail worked fine until a couple of months ago when an update screwed everything up. Since then nobody has been able to solve the issue.
I'm actually thinking about going back to AT&t. (The horror, the horror)
Hopefully somewhere else will work better. (Mint, Consumer, that free phone I might qualify for...)

I signed up for T-Mobile and when my equipment arrived it was damaged by the rain during transport. I returned equipment and decided not to proceed with their service. They refunded me for the equipment but then preceded to bill me for services which I did not even have. I never even activated any phones or internet because it was returned. Since I had signed up for auto pay there was nothing I could do about it. I called several times and they kept insisting I owed for the months of service. They absolutely refused to refund my money. $282.00 on my Capital One card. I finally had to call my credit card since this falls under fraudulent charges. Beware of T-Mobile, they only want your money. It was so frustrating that they did not have any notes that I did not have their service. Be warned Stay away from T-Mobile!

No correct response of our complaint. My plan is 8.99. But they looted more than 20 euro per month. That time I contact costomer service and give some $#*!ing answer by Robert. $#*! Tim mobile. Very bad service

I joined because I paid via credit card automatically (for years)... now I'm told "sorry, we don't accept credit cards anymore for auto pay" - I guess some idiot at the top decided this was a good move... my only reason to call today was to remind them of their "oy of having me as a customer" - HAH. What idiot makes decisions like this? I'm sure the cancelations will pile up and I'll be one of them... made worse by the fact I called 1 month ago and was told "don't worry-this doesn't apply to your account" - well today I got 2 notices of the same and today confirmed the idiots have decided this is indeed the way they want to conduct business... go to hell - loyalty means nothing to t-mobile.

Had T Mobile all of 12 days. Could not get phone service. Switched carriers, canceled service. Got billed full month plus some add ons. Called for credit. They wouldn't give it. Just got bill they sent us to collections. Terrible, horrible company.

Tip for consumers:
Not an honerable company. Would not give credit for service not used plus added additional charges to final bill. Very dishonest.

Avoid being lured in by overcharged phone plans offering " free phones "which usually will total to 5 times mores than what you would of just paid upfront. They're 80 dollar a month plan gets added fees which will bring you up to around 100-130 a month. Ridiculous. Be careful canceling as well as if you even do it one day after your billing cycle they will charge your for the full month. Never will I ever suppose T-Mobile again.

Almost useless. A carrier pigeon would be an improvement. Do not buy into this crap. I ask about the areas of coverage and was assured that they had great coverage, its very spotty at best. Most times there is absolutly no service. Total waste of money.

On a positive note the team in Auburn IN store are AWESOME! Love Chris so much! Other than that the cell phone signal sucks. I mean it was bad before you switched to 5G but now we can't even make a phone call without dropping said call numerous times. I pay a hefty amount each month for our phones just so we can not use them because of your crappy signal. Something needs done about it.

T-Mobile is the worst company I have ever dealt with on the Business side! They are selling Business Internet with the attitude of home internet provider which they can't even do that well. The 5G network they boast about isn't ready for prime time. When it gets oversubscribed it wiggs out and starts dropping packets. Called business support and they act like it no big deal that your business is down for long periods ever day because of this! They also slipped up several times call my service home internet. Then since our new business location was a new build, we had some difficulties with setting up Billing and payment methods, so it was mailed in, out of frustration, on due date. 7 days later they cut off service without notice! Who in business cuts off a new account without notice on the first invoice?

T-Mobile is not Business quality service!

I was searching for a new provider and reached to T-Mobile. They required all kinds of things to set up an account. I was told I would get a refund if the service did not work. Learned from a friend that the service would not work in my area and so I reached back to cancel it before I even got started. Took forever to cancel, but finally they did refund my deposit. A month later I got an email that they had successfully ported my number. What? And I have to start over with my current provider and have been without a phone for five days. T-Mobile did nothing to help. Their supposed customer service is a joke. Avoid this company at all costs.

We've had t-mobile home internet for 6 months, and during those 6 months, we only had service for 12 hours a day. Every night, at exactly 10:30pm, our home internet would slow down to <1 mbps, and would stay there until around 7 am. I'm an insomniac, with two jobs; one of which I *need* wifi for.
We would call T-Mobile every time it would cut off; they'd have us factory reset the gateway multiple times, had us switch out SIM cards, and gave us months free because they kept lying about a tower in our area.
It took us an entire hour today just to get them to cancel the service, and they refused to put us through to a higher up.

I don't recommend this service to anyone, unless you're willing to pay for phone lines, too. According to T-Mobile's website, phone users take precedent when the towers get "congested".

T-mobile has provided the worst service I have ever witnessed! My mom and I wanted to receive an estimate for phone plans. We received an estimate after five hours on the phone and we denied their service. After talking with Support, Manager, and some other unknown T-Mobile employee I have been charged each month for cell phone bill that I don't have. Or a cell phone number that I don't have. Please think twice about going with this cell phone service, I called repeatedly to cancel the so-called bill but they still continue to bill me. This is unfair. Please be cautious.

If you are paying 50 for extra new line over 24 months, you are then paying 1200 for a 350 chrome book. We ask them to help us out... First time in 16 years she ran for full bill instead of the back balance, then they put a hold on our bank so we could not process until we either changed banks or drove cash to store.
We are now looking for new service and all our 20 family members are also leaving them.
We have there wifi, work great till this 5g upgrade and now our kids have problems with gaming.
