I've had T-Mobile for 5+ years now and I've found that while mistakes are sometimes made, (usually during ill-advised store visits) their phone based customer service is very good at making up for it. Any time I have called them with an issue they have been very quick to correct it and to give me some kind of compensation or perk to make up for the loss. While the website has had a few issues in the past with user-friendliness, they have made regular improvements over the years that help immensely. If you demand perfection constantly, not the carrier for you, but if you have a tiny bit of patience, they do come through in the long run.
Phones are junk and they then charge you to restock their junk. In store makes a sale and then cant help you with anything and believe me...you WILL have problems. Customer service? Our entire family had TM phones and now are completely disgusted with the "service". Plan on spending hours on the phone as you get put on hold, swapped around, cut off over and over again, and get told something different with every call. Have had constant glitches with the GPS, volume, camera lens etc etc etc. They used to be worth the extra money every month but NO good reasons to stay with them anymore. Steer clear.
They sold me a defective product and refused to returned one rep tells you something the other one tells different story.
We are leaving them lie after lie
First they agreed to replaced then once a year pass I guess they were trying to kill the time and hold us till year pass.
Then all the sudden they said they cannot replace it. Worst company in the nation

I bought a prepaid sim in LA with the promise it works nationwide.
It did not work in New York City.
When I inquired in an NYC shop the I got some lame excuse about improving the network.
The agent which was extremely rude refused to help me and told me I should complain at the shop in LA. She refused my request to talk to her supervisor.

On hold 39 min from waiting 2 hours for a call back only to be transferred twice and hung up on to start over. The people I did talk to didn't know what was going on with my account and couldn't help me.

T-Mobile phone coverage was expensive and weak in my area, so I switched to Mint. T-Mobile held onto my number (which I wanted to port out to mint) for 12 hours for "security reasons". They would still be holding it if I hadn't called and demanded the real reason they were holding the number. Their techs know nothing. They are polite, and repeat themselves over and over while saying nothing.

I would live to negative stars but that is not an option. T Mobile needs to go back to Sprint. T Mobile is a $#*! show. You have to have a damn password to get your balance and pay a bill...What a inconvenience! I would switch but I've been with Sprint over 20 years. TMobile you need ro do better because what you have now is some bull$#*!! I should be able to pay my bill will ease like it was when it was Sprint! Sometimes simple is better so FIX IT!

We were at the t mobile at 1204 Millersville Pk Space #19, Lancaster, PA ******* to check out what you have to offer for senior citizens. We were waiting a long time for a sales person as they were working on other people. So we sat down and waited, then another person came in after us, and the sale people helped her instead. We were furious that because she was standing up and we were sitting down they tried to help her 1st. We left the store very upset. That is not customer service

When you get a mobile phone from T mobile what they do is they block your phone so that even if you leave there services you can't use that phone with another network they did that to me I called them so many times to unblock my phone after I already paid the phone in full, but they didn't unblock my phone after they stop picking my calls and put me on a voice Answering machine I will stay on call for more than 30 minutes. Nobody answered my calls, more than 8 time now more than a week already. I see this as a scam.

Really bad experience t mobile have me going back an forth between store an my mom phone cause I no longer have my old phone they will cancel your plan in a heart beat not to mention if your changing carriers from them your going to have a horrible experience unless your lucky an they like you...I'll never do them again...I much rather have sprint back!

Tried to exchange phone that stopped working. Called phone insurance company they said since there was no physical damage, return to Tmobile. Sent non working phone in same shipping package they sent with new phone. They then charged me 1700.00 for phone because they said it was broken when they received it. Had picture of a damaged phone. It was not mine. Called all the way up to corporate office. Just got the run around. Going to find another company that treats customer better.

We open a few company's with them, once a car have a lien or any difficulty to register they will hold the founds and will not refund you due to a bad management and unprofessional policy, it's against the law and you should file a complaint of happened like me also dispute their the founds! What ever you do DO NOT give any information when on their website when trying to check plans and prices. They will call 3 times every 1/2 hour after 6pm even after requesting being put on their no call list. I have even texted them and told them to stop. 100% harassment!

Flat out lied to by the person who sold me to change to this company, told my bill would be 75 dollars a month, it's 114. Never paid off my verizon balance, now its in collections and my credit is ruined. Also suffered lgbt discrimination here even tho they claim to be lgbt friendly and give out rainbow tmobile tuesdays socks. A joke. I hate tmobile.

I purchased 2 new phones in Nov 2022. The promotion was if you open a new line you could get the phone for $800 and a line free. That would make me have 4 lines. That would work out cheaper than changing my plan. Come to find out that first they changed my plan anyway and second, they charged me for both phones, $33.33 every month. I have now called 17 times, 4 times today and trying to get my plan straight and the credits due, no one seem to know what to do. I am about at my wits end.

I give one star because I can't give zero stars. I got a mobile hotspot that was defective and it worked for only 3 days. After several calls and walking back and forth to the stores, I returned it after less than 10 days and was not supposed to be charged because I was within the 2 weeks trial period. Not only they were very rude and kept me waiting forever on the phone and chat, but they tried to bill me for the whole month for something that did not work and was returned. I don't recommend this company to anybody, there are many others big companies that provide a far much better and transparent service.

Very bad customer services, selling defective products and then trying to get money of a service that was not provided and during the trial period. Breaches of personal information, many of these went public.

They are sociopaths! They lie to your face and the service sucks! My phone never has service unless I'm in the city and the people who work for t mobile are crooks! I was told all I would pay for a new phone was $350 down but they ended up getting $780 cash with 3 different transactions! The "lady" named Michelle was disgustingly full of crap and I wish they would go out of business so I could be released from this hell!

Ordered a phone, got sent and charged for 3 on the same phone number. Protection plan was added the next day for each phone. Was told to take them back to the store. Then was told we would be charged $105 each to return the phone which T mobile screwed up. Worst customer service ever!

I was with Verizon for several years and then T-Mobile come out with this promotion for three months free service I decided to try it and the customer service is just immaculate. You will not find a better customer service for a phone company and their service or overall is fantastic. If you don't have T-Mobile then you don't have phone service you do you do not know what you're missing. Brent …. T mobile agent! You rock dude you rock you are awesome. You got something done that I've been trying to get done for a very long time you're awesome and you definitely need a raise.!

TMobile has gone to absolute CRAP. I miss Sprint! Recently TMobile has transferred all of their call centers to the Philippines. Customer service is HORRIBLE. Each call takes at least 4 times as long as it should. Transferred repeatedly to another annoying customer service representative reading from a script. Having to repeatedly explain the issue over and over again. Even the fraud department and tech support are in the Philippines. It is absolutely NOT the same customer service as we would receive from an American based customer service department. TMobile thinks they are saving money but they are losing customers and making us hate them. Just look at their ratings! I would absolutely find a provider with an American based customer service department and pass on any company who outsources their work. You will save yourself hours of your life and unneeded stress caused by the annoying out of touch overseas call centers!

I switched to their wireless phone service. They agreed to pay off my phone from AT&T that I owed about $750 on. After I was signed up, they told me it was a reimbursement program. They made me apply for the reimbursement multiple times. They made it very difficult. 6-7 months later, I still have not been reimbursed, even though they approved the application 4 months ago. It is just a scam! They are not going to reimburse me. Don't be fooled! I read several reviews with the same complaint. Just A Scam!

We have had internet with t-mobile for some time now and it is awful! Nothing but a bad experience and highly do not recommend. Always going in and out and not consistent at all. $50 a month and it is worth paying more for what we have but moving out soon so we are dealing with until then! Picture is usually what we see with "no signal" or "weak signal"

I was with Sprint for 20 years. Customer service grew to be horrendous. I moved to T Mobile.
The announced merger w Sprint upset me greatly. I mentioned my experience to the T reps whenever I spoke to one. I repeatedly noted that Sprint will be poison.
So it is. Every now and then you will speak to an American. They have offshored much of customer service just like Sprint. Often you cannot reach a live agent. The automated voice games you. I didn't hear that. Please repeat. Etc.

Stay away from T Mobile. What good is a device deal or other if you can't get service. Ridiculous.
