I've had T-Mobile for 5+ years now and I've found that while mistakes are sometimes made, (usually during ill-advised store visits) their phone based customer service is very good at making up for it. Any time I have called them with an issue they have been very quick to correct it and to give me some kind of compensation or perk to make up for the loss. While the website has had a few issues in the past with user-friendliness, they have made regular improvements over the years that help immensely. If you demand perfection constantly, not the carrier for you, but if you have a tiny bit of patience, they do come through in the long run.

Phones are junk and they then charge you to restock their junk. In store makes a sale and then cant help you with anything and believe me...you WILL have problems. Customer service? Our entire family had TM phones and now are completely disgusted with the "service". Plan on spending hours on the phone as you get put on hold, swapped around, cut off over and over again, and get told something different with every call. Have had constant glitches with the GPS, volume, camera lens etc etc etc. They used to be worth the extra money every month but NO good reasons to stay with them anymore. Steer clear.

Before signing any agreement with T-Mobile, make sure you are aware that should you decide to change carriers, they will lock you phone. Doesn't matter if your phone is paid for. Doesn't matter if your account is current. Should you decide to change carriers, understand that it may take several days before they decide you can use your phone again. Evidently, if you've ever used their service, they think they own your phone. Should you call their customer service, they'll put you on the phone with an arrogant condescending jerk. My advice is to think twice. Then really think again. There are plenty of other options available.

I switched over to T-Mobile approximately 5 to 6 months ago. The worst service coverage I have ever experienced in my life. It depends on where you are you can't get a call through if you don't use your home internet service to make calls it may not even work. If you attempt to go in the garage and continue a call the call Will static out or drop out because you're not using your modem. I thought I was paying T-Mobile for the Wi-Fi service I shouldn't have to use my home service just to get business as usual done. I've never seen anything like this and I'm sure they're making millions off of taxpayers back. It doesn't make any sense I'm sure they're aware of it what they're going to do about it I'm not sure if I were you I would stay away from them! I'm going somewhere else!

There are too many people on the network and it doesn't work well process is really slow very unreliable

Went into tmobile store. Representative Kala (novi mall) was so unfriendly & rude. I explained to her my phone don't take charge all the time she plugs it in & it charges she says well its charging. I said like I said not all the time. Girl give me my damn phone

I've been a T-Mobile customer for 12 years. Used the phone, paid the bills, went into the store every couple of years to upgrade the phone. Then I decided to switch plans to take advantage of their military plan. It was my first real experience with their customer service and it was a total joke. 90 minutes in the store as their own representative tried without success to get customer service on the line. An hour in, they realized, "Hey, we can take care of this in the store on the computer." THAT shouldn't have taken an hour. Should have worked too, but it turns out their computers were "down." So I come home and call 611, find out everything the store rep told me was wrong and I have to start from scratch. I get transferred to the dreaded customer service number. 90 minutes on hold and nobody every came on the line. It looks like after 12 years, I'm going to be changing CARRIERS instead of plans.

T-mobile gave me a 20 day trial for there hotspot device, The internet was very slow. I asked for a return label and they refused to give me one causing me to go past the 20 day mark. Then they billed me for the device. I filed a complaint to the better business and then T-mobile sent me a return label and after they received it they still tried billing me then it went to collections. I never seen a dirty company in my life.

If you have any since stay away from T-mobile

I switched from Verizon to save money and I regret it every time my service doesn't work, can't check voicemail, and can't make calls even though I'm right in town. I used their "keep & switch" option when I switched providers which they said would pay the $800 left on my Verizon contract and that I should receive it in 15 days. It should be called the "bait & switch" because it took over 4 months to finally get the reimbursement to pay off Verizon. They kept saying it went through and it never did. I think they count on people giving up because it took so many hours of customer service chats and calls to get them to fix the problem. Screw T-Mobile! Go anywhere else!

Don’t waste your time or money on T-Mobile, absolute garbage

I am so disgusted with T-Mobile. I returned my old phone in March after receiving a new one from insurance. The phone was received by T-Mobile, but the warehouse can't find it. So I'm being charged. Four months later, after multiple attempts, I cannot get the charge removed from my account.

T-Mobile sucks and they're a dishonest company. They charge my card even though I'd cancelled my service. And now I'm stuck having to contest their charge. Stay away from this company. They lie and cheat and you never get a straight answer as to why you're not getting a decent signal.

Went there with a friend 5:20pm and they kept helping everyone that came after me and making it seem like we were invisible. We were there for two hours patiently waiting. We finally got up to go before they finally helped us. If that's not discrimination i don't know what that is

We initially ordered an iPhone 15, but the website somehow screwed up, and we got an iPhone 15 with 128GB instead of the 1TB we wanted. We rushed to the store, but they insisted we had to handle it online.

Fine, we called their customer service, and that was a complete nightmare. We shipped the iPhone back to T-Mobile as instructed, only to find out they didn't send a replacement. We had to call them again, and they casually informed us we could reorder the phone on their website. Wish we'd known that sooner.

Then, I received a message saying they were waiting for an iPhone 14 for trade-in. What really ticked me off is that initially, they offered $595 for my iPhone 14, but after this ordeal, they suddenly dropped it to $500 for the same phone!

At this point, I'd switch to another provider, but my husband has been a loyal member for over 30 years and insists on keeping his number. Not a happy customer, to say the least.

As long time sprint customer, when T-mobile took over I sought in store customer service care to upgrade to comparable T-mobile plan. First, they put me on a plan designed for 2x many phones I have. After talking with T-mobile on phone they gave me a credit.great. However now, T-mobile charged me exactly double for the plan and three other phones on plan acct. No credit to alleviate the higher charges as they said its because you changed plans mid cycle. This is bad customer care. Customer service people were with foreign accent so not sure how this would have gone with American English speaking rep.

App sucks big time! It's like you have three times to login to check other lines on your account. Internet is priced outrageously! Better than AT&T prices tho. AT&T has way better everything other than that.

I recently wrote a negative review on the inconsistent, ill-trained customer service I experience at Walmart. In contrast, T-mobile has well trained, very polite, very concerned customer service. When you call, instead of keeping you on hold, they tell you the wait time and will call you back. They are very respectful, If they are talking and you begin talking, they immediately stop and listen to you. I purchased a T-mobile hot spot and with customer's service help, had it up and running in a few hours. Had to call back a few days later because of a web page blockage and experienced the same courteous, professional respectful responses. Walmart needs to take note and hire the people who trained T-mobiles customer service department.

Tip for consumers:
If you have any problems with the web site, it was being updated when I accessed it, call customer service - they will more than likely resolve any problems.

Only reason I bought 2 iphones was because of the promo. Sprint screwed up the promotion and did not get the promo. Their f-up, not mine. Called monthly as the charge kept appearing on bill. When final transition to Tmobile, talked to agent and supervisor Chris who assured me promo would be re-added now that tmobile is doing billing. 6 weeks later after talking to another agent (yes I have had to call every month), come to find out I was lied to when supervisor said the promo would be re-added to my account. First the current agent said, well it will be 1-2 billing cycles, came back and said, well no you will not get it after I asked for the ticket number and updates. Total dishonesty and lack of integrity from anyone I have talked to so far at tmobile. Nice people, but at this point I do not trust Tmobile. Will not be buying another phone from tmobile

I have been with T-mobile for roughly 15+ years. I'm done! Between the crappy reception, horrible Customer Service, and down right unethical practices, I'm leaving!
Made a call to get support for poor reception. Was signed up for, and billed for a service I NEVER inquired about or wanted in the first place! UNREAL!
Was very clearly assured the order was cancelled and that I wouldn't be charged. What an absolute crock of S***!

When we got their service they told us we would not have any issues where we liv 9 months later and numerous calls because if we leave our home or the electric or internet goes out we can't even make an emergency call and we are inour seventies.

JEERS to T-Mobile and Sprint! When T-Mobile took over Sprint, they could not get my phone(NOTE 20 PLUS ULTRA) to work on their new system. So, after a month of being without a phone and not getting it resolved, I decided to go with another carrier. I sent the phone back, and my bill was paid. Now, they want to send me collections for the remaining cost of the lease on the phone that they got back. They have proof that they got the phone back. They said I was still under the lease on it even though they could not provide service to it. I've been going through this with them for a year now. I have called and been on hold numerous times for over an hour, trying to talk to a supervisor, and no one will help. I have been promised that one will call me... to no avail! This is now going to affect my credit. I had been with Sprint for over 10 years...
T-Mobile has the worst customer service and phone service, and the local stores can't help. Jeers T-Mobile!

I canceled my subscription last April 2023 and they still kept on charging me. Aside from poor connection, they robbed me of something that I was not using. Don't get any of their products. They are a desperate company. Don't be mislead with their offers. All they want is money. There is no consideration at all. Even though I called them to cancel my subscription, they will still charge you.

Sadly disappointed with Phone carrier T-Mobile
I never write reviews, but I felt if even one person reads this and makes a decision then maybe it'd be worth it. The first day I walked in to buy a new phone with them, they had an issue that never resolve by calling me every day as a follow up and promises to call me again and today they want a week to call me back to see what they can do... i do not recommend it to any one Badddddddd

The worst service I've ever had. Literally switched back within 3 days. HATED everything. They lied one lie after another. Saying oh yes mam, take all your equipment to a store and they'll allow you to return all of it. BS. They did not. They had to call Tmobile - took nearly an hour and they produced a label for ME to return it. After they said they could not send ME a label. AWFUL.

Bought TMobile in Florida then moved the Little Rock. Performance here is horrible. Trash latency, dropped calls, poor coverage. Looked at cell towers distribution and wow Verizon has TMobile out numbered about 6:1 in towers in this area. It is embarrassing if you ask me but I guess the population is too small for TMobile to care about Arkansas unlike Verizon. I hated Verizon before because of all the fees but now with one flat rate for unlimited internet LTE... no question Verizon owns Arkansas and TMobile ain't even trying to play catch-up

I have been a client for over 10 years, not because they are great but I am a person who does now switch companies over night. My mom lost her phone so I called the insurance for a replacement when I got the news: " your are not covered "… the reason why: " at the time of the previous upgrade to her cell the store rep canceled the previous insurance and did not activate properly the new one". My mistake was trusting too much. As I said, after many years and many Devices all covered, I did not question anything when he said at the store: " all set " … I Called back the telephone company for requesting some kind of arrangement since the phone my mom lost was not yet paid in full and they denied to support me, they stood strong claiming the $400 i own on that devise prior to giving me the chance to offer another upgrade so I could get a new phone to my mother… my advise … don't trust them and better yet, don't sign a contract with these people. They are not good enough.
