I've had T-Mobile for 5+ years now and I've found that while mistakes are sometimes made, (usually during ill-advised store visits) their phone based customer service is very good at making up for it. Any time I have called them with an issue they have been very quick to correct it and to give me some kind of compensation or perk to make up for the loss. While the website has had a few issues in the past with user-friendliness, they have made regular improvements over the years that help immensely. If you demand perfection constantly, not the carrier for you, but if you have a tiny bit of patience, they do come through in the long run.
Phones are junk and they then charge you to restock their junk. In store makes a sale and then cant help you with anything and believe me...you WILL have problems. Customer service? Our entire family had TM phones and now are completely disgusted with the "service". Plan on spending hours on the phone as you get put on hold, swapped around, cut off over and over again, and get told something different with every call. Have had constant glitches with the GPS, volume, camera lens etc etc etc. They used to be worth the extra money every month but NO good reasons to stay with them anymore. Steer clear.

¡Pero esos tipos son unos mentirosos de mierda! El 8 de junio me cobraron $89.47, ¿por qué diablos? ¡No había usado el maldito wifi desde enero de 2024 y estaba desactivado! Pero lo peor es que esos deshonestos hijos de puta me aseguraron que la suspensión costaría solo 10 dólares al mes por 90 días cuando pregunté. ¡Luego me cobraron casi 90 dólares sin avisar! Su supuesta "sin cargos ocultos" es pura farsa.
Solicité un reembolso por el cargo fraudulento de $89 y esos miserables me dijeron que ni pensarlo. ¡Solo ofrecieron acreditarme, lo cual no era lo que yo quería!
T-Mobile es una empresa de estafadores, operando un esquema descarado. ¡Manténganse lejos de estos mentirosos sin ética! Después de esta estafa, me llevo mi dinero a otro proveedor.

We tried their tower and could not get any service whatsoever. Then three years later they tried to bill us or not giving them a 30-day notice that we were changing providers. They don't care how they are robbing the elderly

When my husband is traveling, or even just sitting in the house, he can not get service, or his calls drop, or he doesn't get them at all, nor does he get his voice messages. Hopefully when he travels he never has an emergency or that I have to get a hold of him with an emergency because we never know when this service on his phone won't work. My Verizon service is so much better

They charge for hidden fees every bill you pay and they are horrible at customer service. I've had them take money out of my account when my bill was paid for the month. Don't ever go with T-Mobile. My bill at one point was over 150$ for one line. F*** T-Mobile!

This complaint is due to the mistreatment they offer towards clients. I have been with them for seven years. I am trying to find out something about my bill. I called from my cell phone and they have not answered me. They have left me in line waiting, they are very unprofessional, rude and aggressive. They need to be trained and improve customer service and be more human and respect people and customers to improve their service.

I was told by TMobile I could trade phones with no out of pocket expense...When I got there the story was different...They said I had to upgrade my plan and do away with my Grandfathered plan (which costs more) and in the end I did have to pay money in order to trade... It was an upscale ripoff and its going to cause me not to do business with them anymore...I called customer service and it was a foreigner who could barely speak English which added a lot of hassle to the process... TMobile is a crooked $#*! company and I don't recommend them...

This is the way they roll. I set up a payment arrangement... They told me to come in and make a payment and they would set up an arrangement for the balance. While I am standing in line the next day to pay it like we had discussed on the phone the previous day they turn my phone off. Literally while I am inside of T-Mobile making a payment. And I had to pay a $20 restoration fee for them turning it off while I was in line to make a payment. Absolutely hate T-Mobile. I can't even express enough how much I hate them

I have been a customer for 5 years. Within the last year my account was changed without my permission to a business account using my personal info. I did not do this! They did not try to fix this and only told me I had to wait 7 months to do anything!

The service providers are foreign, they lie repeatedly, they hold hostage your service, etc. The supervisors stay HIDDEN on line and coach the techs what to say to manipulate you, deceive you, and mislead you. T-Mobile did not deliver what they promissed.

We tried to upgrade a phone through Tmobile on one of our phones to trade in a phone on customer 2. January 2024. Tmobile coded the trade on customer 1's phone by mistake. They could not undo the order so we had to refuse shipment. It took 2 months for them to update our account because the refused phone was lost or stolen. Meanwhile they overcharged us for two months, including a monthly service charge for the new phone. They went through a process to render the lost refused phone unusable but in doing so, they coded my phone as the lost or stolen phone. March 2024. Thus I couldn't use my phone for a week. In the third month march 2024 they corrected our bill, and finally the mistake on coding my phone as lost or stolen was fixed, march 2024, only now they are charging us $50 more per month than before we ordered the upgraded phone. We consistently had a bill for $100 per month before all this happened. Now we have to haggle with them while they figure this mistake out. It appears they are charging in april us the monthly service charge for the phone we never got (after "fixing" our bill). I'm spending too much of my personal time talking to tmobile for these mistakes. My idea of a good time is not spending an evening talking to these folks about their mishaps. Time is a commodity they are using up without my consent. It's become a regular thing. We have decided to leave tmobile and file a complaint with the better business bureau. Enough is enough.

If you are going to use tmobile I highly recommend going to a store instead of calling them. Based on our experience, the phone representatives were grossly incompetent. If something happens with them, the problem snowballs and doesn't go away. That's why we are getting out. Not only that but they offer nothing in return for the way they have messed around with our account for the fourth month now.

Tmobile is absolute garbage. Overcharged the shtt out of us. Then promised to correct the bill over a month ago. Never corrected it. I've contacted customer service dozens of times and had repeated promises that it would be corrected. Last night they said not to worry and our service would not be interupted since I have said I am not paying the bill until it is correct. This morning our service was disconnected and even more additional fees added for the service disconnect. They asked me to pay the full amount to restore service now. This has been the worst service I've dealt with from any cell service. Complete bullshtt.

My phone of 6 years fully insured failed.
The sales person wanted to sell me a $1000 phone, but failed to recognize that there was an insurance coverage on my existing failed phone being currently covered.
Having avoided the questioning repeatedly trying to make a sales he reluctantly gave us the 1,800 number to call for a replacement, since it was obvious he wasn't able to switch and bait us to a perceived upgrade.sale.
He couldn't get rid of us fast enough.!

I've been T-Mobile for about 2 years. I had an interest in upgrading my phone so, I did my homework, decided on a phone and began the omupgrade on the T-Mobile website
The figures provided were fine however, when you get to the consent page (to agree to the figures) everything changes to higher monthly payment amounts, your trade-in value is nowhere to be found etc...
I previously thought T-Mobile was a halfway decent carrier but, they're nothing but corrupt, unethical scumbags.
Some Pinhead rep told me their "system" wasn't functioning properly and he then quoted me the price I originally saw. Too late! They lost my trust. Time to move on to another carrier...

Their towers suck can't get a reception. Their T-Mobile home internet is unreliable. So if you're thinking on getting it, just go somewhere else. Not worth the time, nor the hafter they bought out Sprint. They've gotten worse. I had phone lines with them. And they went down 3 times a day. Customer care reps don't care all it ISIS money switch why you can or if you're not switch, do not switch.

Called and ordered the 5g cube trial in November and returned it within 10 days so I expected my $55 refund. Received an email saying they have and will issue my refund. I've called and spoken to three different people saying it will be refunded within three days. It been over a month and no refund. Add to that they've billed me twice and the second bill says I owe $60 and they sent that to a collection agency. I've written them again with attachments of everything. Next I'm going to the Better Business Bureau. How many other people have ripped off like this?!

Let me tell you why T-Mobile is terrible… I ordered my first device, paid for that device. It was lost in transaction, so I had to order another and paid for the second device and never received my first refund. Once I finally received the second device, it was never activated and tech support told me to go to my local T-Mobile store. The employee there advised they couldn't do anything so SHE helped me call back tech support to tell them they need to do it. My device was never fully activated and I was charged my first months usage. I spent over $300 and now they're stating I OWE THEM $384, for something I NEVER USED! I have all the refund claim numbers from their horrible team members. They want to send it to a debt collector, go ahead. I'll be contacting lawyers and my state rep until this is resolved.

I have been a customer for at least 25 years. And have always been happy with them until yesterday. I went in to buy my granddaughter a phone which I raise. And noticed tax was way higher than it should of been, So I questioned it. They said its a one time activation fee of 35 added. I said since when! This is my phone number that I've had for years and we are switching the sim card over. And so the argument began. I will also mention I haven't worked in months because I've been busy fighting cancer. So I had to get in my bill money and take out the other money. This is nonsense. My husband and I both need new phones too. But they just lost two sales. I am going back to buying off of market place or Craigslist. Very very disappointed in this practice that started last year. And the lady waiting on me said it's always been that way! Wrong! I said I can't wait to get my survey when I leave the store. And for the first time ever they did not send me one.

This company made multiple verbal contracts with me and followed threw with none of them. There staff will lie to you to get you to agree to terms without signing anything then fall back on there original agreement and stick you with a huge bill you never agreed to. Then to top it off this company is utilizing all out of country servers for phone calls giving multiple agencies from other disrupt countries all of our personal information and passwords. I asked a T mobile seller for a Canada US Mexico plan. They sold me a $15 plan but charged me $25 (oh yeah, we forgot, you have to pay for sim card too). It did not work to call Canadian numbers. They then sold me a $5 plan to call Canadian numbers. Worked in US, but not in Canada. T-mobile then informed me it would be another $40. Each time they gave me wrong information and will not do anything about it. Waste of time and money.
