I've had T-Mobile for 5+ years now and I've found that while mistakes are sometimes made, (usually during ill-advised store visits) their phone based customer service is very good at making up for it. Any time I have called them with an issue they have been very quick to correct it and to give me some kind of compensation or perk to make up for the loss. While the website has had a few issues in the past with user-friendliness, they have made regular improvements over the years that help immensely. If you demand perfection constantly, not the carrier for you, but if you have a tiny bit of patience, they do come through in the long run.
Phones are junk and they then charge you to restock their junk. In store makes a sale and then cant help you with anything and believe me...you WILL have problems. Customer service? Our entire family had TM phones and now are completely disgusted with the "service". Plan on spending hours on the phone as you get put on hold, swapped around, cut off over and over again, and get told something different with every call. Have had constant glitches with the GPS, volume, camera lens etc etc etc. They used to be worth the extra money every month but NO good reasons to stay with them anymore. Steer clear.
Ive been with this company for many years I have 7 lines and 3 other lines so total of 10... Well I signed up for a deal that they have with free tablet and you pay 10 a month for wifi. Now they are billing me 50 and refuse to change it back I do not take this with a kind heart.
So sad looking for a new servicer

I was having issues for 6 months with this company. They had more devices on my bills what I don't have. They phone running hot, freezing up, calling people phone when I am not in my phone they still wouldn't assist me. Instead they want to charge me more money to get things fix when I paying insurance and apple care on the phone. I wouldn't advise nobody to switch over to t-mobile. They are garbage. If my pictures wasn't to big I would post how much times I call them for this week alone.

Unhelpful. Rude. Dishonest. Don't go with T-Mobile. Definitely don't go to the Marshfield WI location. Some of the worst interactions I've ever had, in my life. They're trying to get a commission, not help people. Very unhappy to be stuck with them in a two-year contract.

I changed cell carriers from tmobile to another company, when I was sent my last bill from tmobile it showed it was set-up on auto-pay as were all of my tmobile bills beforehand. Well, what do you know? They sent me to collections over less than $200 dollars and now that I don't have a tmobile account I can't get ahold of anyone for help! No call back request feature working and I've been on hold for over 2 hours trying to get ahold of someone. This is insane. My credit score is suffering because of these people. There is literally no option for me to get ahold of support. I hate this company. No one notified me at all if the auto-payment failed, I wasn't checking, why should I? They sent me my last bill and said it was on auto-pay... and the next thing I know I get a letter from collections. What an awful company

I had my Samsung S22 Ultra paid off. T mobile made it very cumbersome to unlock my phone. T mobile first said it is due to an error on Samsung side and Android side that they can do nothing about. Then later, I was able to ask the T mobile associate to unlock my phone on their end. So they lied the first time. It has poor overall coverage. A bad cell company.

Was promised a refund of my prepaid account as I transitioned to postpaid. Once I had transferred, they decided they didn't want to honor that refund anymore. I've been sent between billing departments countless times and spent more hours with their support than I thought was possible, to no avail.
They'd rather lose me and my family as monthly customers than see that I received the refund I was promised. Needless to say we will be terminating our service with T-mobile.

I've contacted T-Mobile on 3 different occasions over one month. Each technical support person promised to send me a home cell booster device. NOT ONE of these individuals have followed through. Each time I call they promise to OWN the call and resolve the request, but NONE of them have ever actually done nothing. Their customer service is just a bunch of BS.

T-Mobile gave me a hidden cost on a cell phone that I traded in their jump program. T-Mobile said I was late turning the Old Iphone in, so they cleverly charged me monthly, even though they sent me the upgraded phone. Tmobile had me paying on my old phone which they never sent back to me.The charge was cleverly hidden in my bill. I was with T-Mobile since 1999. I will pay both phones off but will never go back to this company again.

We went to our local T Mobile to purchase two new phones to replace two older phones. We made purchases based on a promotion we were offered. We now know this promotion was made up to sell us phones. Our bill is so messed up and customer service can not help us since the promotion we were offered does not exist. Our sales rep continues to lie to my face each month I go back to the store trying to get the promotion we were offered. I would never recommend T Mobile and would give a 0 rating based on my experience!

I am a long time Sprint customer who was transferred to T-Mobile this past summer without being asked. At approximately the same time I started a new phone contract for my daughter and was told by T-Mobile at the store where I received the phone, that the phone was unlocked. My daughter needed that phone unlocked for international travel as a security measure for the gap year program that she will be attending, Despite numerous phone calls to try to have the phone unlocked, I have not been able to do that! That is terrible in and of itself, However, my other daughter, who got a phone at almost the same time, was able to have her phone unlocked. So when T-Mobile says that their policy is not to have unlocked phones they are misrepresenting their policy and are lying to their customers. I am so very disappointed with the terrible customer service and the lying that was done. Absolutely terrible!

I have been trying to become an authorized user on my company's account. The person who set up the account is no longer with the company and T-Mobile is making it impossible to get access to the account to make changes. I have been to the store twice and was told to set up a phone meeting. Well nobody has called. I've tried calling in and was also told I need to set up a phone meeting and that I'm still not an authorized user. This has been going on for over a month. I currently use T-Mobile for my personal cell company and will be cancelling my account

Jenny ID ******* is the type of customer service I'm use to from tmobile. She didn't haggle me or act as if it was a chore to assist a loyal long term faithful customer. She explained things very clearly and made sure I wasn't ever inconvenienced. She allowed me to explain uninterrupted and also apologized for experiences with tmobile that had nothing to do with the care she was providing me. If every customer care representative was like her, T-mobile would be the only carrier needed in America. Please reward her with responsibility of management because she is ready to not only be the example but to set the example for others to follow. Promote now!
Tip for consumers:
Turn all local store representatives in for lies or bad service. Call customer care & technical support for issues. Ask to speak to a supervisor 1st, then a manager and lastly the corporate office if you're getting the run around.

I upgraded my phone and was told my bill would not increase. I was also told that they would bill me monthly for the new phone but provide an equal credit as long as I stayed a customer. Instead I got a bill that was increased and the phone charge didn't have a credit the first month. Now they're making me dump using my credit card for autopay and either use my debit card (a terrible security issue) or give them my bank info (another stupid security issue). I don't do business with scum like this and neither should you.

T mobile is the worst service. They claim to be family friendly but shut my phone and wouldn't put it back on esp in one of the worst times in my life. My mom passed and couldn't make a payment till my pay check and all it was for 2 days so they left me without service during this time horrible and just disrespectful no care in the world.

They told me I had until the 29th to make my payment, than turn my number off on the 19th and charge me $20 per line plus all kinds of late fee close to an additional $100 to turn the service back on. I'll be changing cell provider ASAP. Stay away from T-mobile if you want an honest cell provider company

Danny M assisted me in purchasing a Galaxy watch #4 a couple weeks ago, and he was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The watch is defective and does not hold a proper charge, so today Danny was able to take back the defective watch and order a new one for me...even though it took him an hour to convince Customer Service to accommodate to do so without charging me more. Danny was polite, conscientious and really went to bat to help Mr. He is in the San Marvos, CA store, on Rancho Sante Fe Rd.

I ordered new phones & set up new plan online & then went into T-Mobile to have the phones set up. The plan that I agreed to was different & not in my favor at all compared to what I agreed to online. I called T-Mobile & luckily got Jasper as a representative. This was the very first time that anything was completely fixed & resolved on a T-Mobile phone call. I can't thank him enough for hearing the issue & actually doing something to resolve it completely! T-Mobile needs to hire more people like JASPER!
Tip for consumers:
I don’t know if u can ask for a certain representative, but hopefully then, u will be lucky like I was & have Jasper get your call.

I changed jobs and lost my AT&T discount. I figured I'd give T-Mobile a try since AT&T was a little more expensive and I thought T-Mobile would be comparable since they merged with Sprint. I guess the saying "you get what you pay for" is true because I didn't realize how good I had it with AT&T. My phone cuts out constantly, gets less service and is significantly slower now that I'm with T-Mobile. I'm so upset I changed carriers. In this day and age there's no reason why a cellular provider doesn't have consistent coverage. I'd really think twice if you're thinking of going with T-Mobile.
Tip for consumers:
Don't believe what the salespeople at T-Mobile say...compared to AT&T the service is much slower and less reliable.

So, make sure you are 100% clear on what you are buying. Their marketing is a bit deceptive and you end up paying more than you thought you would. Things labeled free aren't really all that free, it's a marketing ploy...you're still paying. Their accessories are sooooo expensive and not better quality than you can buy third party. They changed me $40 per screen protector! What a rip off for a screen protector that broke in the first week. Of course, they want me to return the broken item which is now in the trash. I have no box or pieces of screen protector so they don't bother to credit me. I got a screen protector off a website that works just fine for $10. They say that the taxes are rolled into the advertised price but the bill ends up being more in the end. Way more deceptive marketing than AT&T or Verizon.
Tip for consumers:
I actually like the service, but the sales end was so sketchy. Probably my worst phone sales experience. Shady, shady, shady. Customer services is very nice but they're not really going to help out or take circumstances into account.

The phone is fine, but that's Samsung, not TMobile. Tmobile's marketing is SHADY as can be. They're not very accommodating with the refunds on broken accessories either. Their markup on accessories is OBSCENE. Don't buy accessories from TMobile. Their advertising on the pricing of service isn't quite a bait and swtich but they're merky on the language.

I have been having so many problems with their technicians, and even managers don't have a clue of what they are doing. They are always making excuses, when they can't solve problems they ask for additional time and promise to call you back and they never do. Too much false promises, lying, and they are unable to figure out what issues are going on and how to resole them. Very poor and nerve wracking service. Lack of knowledge.

I traded in a paid off iPhone 12 for an iPhone 12 mini because I love the smaller size. Paid off, mind you. It was to be an even trade. I am not charged anything for the iPhone 12 mini. I wanted to trade it in today for an iPhone 13 mini and the customer service rep would not let me until I pay 420 dollars to pay off the iPhone 12 mini. Mind you, it was already purchased outright with the turning in of my iPhone 12 which was 11 months old and in perfect condition. Their reasoning does not make sense. The iPhone 12 mini is mine, Free and Clear. Anyway, they said no. I cannot have the iPhone 13 mini until I "pay off my iPhone 12 mini", which is already mine and for which I pay nothing.
I am really disappointed. I live the small size of the mini and I really wanted it in the 13 and RED, since I think they are discontinuing that size in future models, And I have been a Sprint customer for 20 years with the same phone number. I didn't think they would let me down.

My brother has been diagnosed with dementia and can't recall his PIN number. As his POA, I am not allowed to have access to his account without his pin. I tried to move to another carrier for him, and T-Mobile has his account locked even tho his phone is paid off and he owes no money for his account. They have the most unreasonable guidelines I have ever seen. I have never seen anyone like them in my life!

THIS IS A ZERO STAR REVIEW:
One of my biggest pet peeves is a business that says they're going to call you back at a certain time and they 100% flake on you. On Tuesday 9-6-22 Alex at T-Mobile tech support promised he would phone back at 5:30 p.m. PST the following day. He 100% flaked.
The morning after the phone call that never happened, being Thursday 9-8-22 I asked for supervisor and got Alice. To fast forward in the story she promised to call me a few hours later at 8:40 a.m. PST. As I write this review it's now 5 hours after that and no phone call ever came through from Alice.
T-Mobile used to be like this 8 years ago, then they got better and now they're absolutely horrible again with their customer service.
I would suggest finding a better cell phone carrier that has customer agents that care about the customer.

Tmobile executive office runs its operations solely based on their ego. I had an active connection with tmobile. One day I lodged a complaint against tmobile, it was a genuine complaint, I sent the complaint directly to their top executives in writing. Following which the executive office of tmobile blocked my access to my account. Tmobile and it's top executives are corrupted and lacks integrity. The executive office of Tmobile abused its powers by blocking my access to my phone account. Corruption to the max...

I have been a loyal customer for years! I do not ask much of them but when my calls are dropping or i can't utilize the apps and features how I'm supposed to. They want to blame it on my phone because it's a little older.
Like if you can't fix the problem just say that. Also i told the manger that i was very frustrated and was considering leaving the company if they cannot fix my problem. The supervisor stated to me that he understands my decision and stated that i basically have to do what i have to.
Unbelievable, at this point i felt like they didn't even care about me being a customer for years. Smh something has to change
