T-Mobile has a rating of 1.2 stars from 1,938 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers complaining about T-Mobile most frequently mention customer service, new phone, and sim card problems. T-Mobile ranks 240th among Mobile Phones sites.
I've had T-Mobile for 5+ years now and I've found that while mistakes are sometimes made, (usually during ill-advised store visits) their phone based customer service is very good at making up for it. Any time I have called them with an issue they have been very quick to correct it and to give me some kind of compensation or perk to make up for the loss. While the website has had a few issues in the past with user-friendliness, they have made regular improvements over the years that help immensely. If you demand perfection constantly, not the carrier for you, but if you have a tiny bit of patience, they do come through in the long run.
Phones are junk and they then charge you to restock their junk. In store makes a sale and then cant help you with anything and believe me...you WILL have problems. Customer service? Our entire family had TM phones and now are completely disgusted with the "service". Plan on spending hours on the phone as you get put on hold, swapped around, cut off over and over again, and get told something different with every call. Have had constant glitches with the GPS, volume, camera lens etc etc etc. They used to be worth the extra money every month but NO good reasons to stay with them anymore. Steer clear.
I was with Sprint over 10 years until we were forced to switch to T-MOBILE and I hate this service and the representatives that apparently don't communicate with each other. I see why they have less than a 1.5 rating with the BBB. I will be switching services immediately.

SHOUT OUT to T-mobile Salina Ks location. Specifically to Kindel, Timmy and Wayne! They make a great team. I was immediately greeted. They answered all my questions. They were professional and friendly. They went above and beyond. They have excellent products. Amazing plans. Unbelievable prices. Soon they will be my new internet providers. Unlike a lot of businesses today, T-mobile still care about their costumers. I will never go anywhere else. They are literally the best. FOR REAL GO THERE!

I have had nothing but problems from t mobile since switching services back in March! Customer service is the worst! I asked for an updated phone (S Series) at the beginning of my service, upon receiving the A14 series phones I called back in, was told I had to wait 45 days and someone would call me back. No one ever called. This has been on going since MARCH! No one ever calls back and the problem is STILL not resolved. Customer care refused to fix their mistake and the only solution they offered was for me to oay MORE MONEY to upgrade the POS they sent me to begin with. I think not! I'll be looking for another phone company!

I DO NOT RECOMMEND TMOBILE!

In all fairness they are not as bad as verizon, the cell service is pretty ok. The problem is there customer service. Trying to buy a phone was a nightmare. Every single person that I talked to kept changing and increasing the price. I had the Megenta max, I was never able to acess my netflix and when I finally asked for a supervisor the woman was extreamly rude.

I ordered my phones over the phone. When the phones came in 6 days later. There were no Sims cards in the boxes. Also, the call service was rude and did not tell me the truth about me having to pay for the Sims cards at the store. I was on hold waiting for a representative to answer the phone for an hour. Once, John (the representative) had to transfer me over to Kim another customer representative so she could assist me. I'm over T-Mobile already. Thank God Orane (customer representative) he helped me out with his issue the best he could.

T mobile referral bonus is a scam. The process of actually obtaining the referral bonus is ambiguous. I referred a friend but they wouldn't give me a bonus because I've only been a t mobile customer for about 45 days. This was not stated in the advertisement that led me to start referring people.

Out of every data provider ive tried, t-mobile is the worst. Your data will cut out and lose service in times where you should have service. My phone will tell me i have full bars and it doesnt work. Plus studies have shown t-mobile provides the worst wireless connection services. It really shows! I have never been more frustrated and confused with a provider. From constant outages, miscommunication, complete lack of consistency, this is the worst i've dealt with. Not worth the prices they show; When it actually decides to work it is fairly alright, But the random outages ruin it and make this the worst service ever. Get T-Mobile if you like to be infuriated.

TMobile charges you money for no service then when you ask for a refund they say they can't help. They then prolong the refund process saying it will take 48hrs but it's been 3 weeks. They originally ask for a 4 diget pin then lie and say it needs to be 6 so the representative adds their own 2 numbers to ur pin so you can never get into your account.

I am sorry to say it's fraud and cheater company. I called them and the guy placed order for home 5G internet and he offered me 3 SIM card wireless service along that for 170$. So there is scheme if you don't like internet you can return within 7 days. So I returned all next day. And cancelled all services. After 1 month I see autopay charge for 170$ and that's it now it's my nightmare to get my 170$ back. Called them 100 times but still no refund yet.

These piece of $#*! thieves had an associate tell me my account with them was "unfindable" and "didn't exist" when I tried to cancel my useless plan that wouldn't let me in my own phone, yet kept taking money from me! No one knows what the hell they're doing and tells you to go resolve your problem in an app that's been unusable for MONTHS. I had to cancel my bank card to get them to stop stealing from me! Most $#*!tiest "customer service" I've ever had.

You have heard tmobile sucks, from drop calls, missed calls, no service, and on and on. They are all true. In fact they are so bad there is nothing left for them to screw up. They are number 1 at screwing up. At least they are number 1 at something. But if you want a carrier that works stay the hell away from tmibile! I've tried them all and tmobile is the worst!

I have been a customer of T-Mobile for years. 3 years prepaid. They don't recognize and almost 4 on a lease. They were fabulous. Now I say they are going down the tubes, especially at 4447 Slauson Street. Walter and Rebecca fabricate incredible stories. If Rebecca doesn't like a customer, she doesn't give you service. I had to wait almost a an hour for service. I was leased a new malfunctioning phone. I came to them for a replacement. I had to wait 10 days and was charged $20.00. I was supposed to get a discount on my early paid phone bill. I was charged full price.

I purchased the phone through T Mobil 2 years ago and it was returned within 2 weeks as my mother couldn't open up the screen. The return was requested by T Mobil rep and I later verified that it was signed for when received by the company.
4 months later I found out that T Mobil filed a collection in the amount of the price of the phone!
I did my work, which took almost 4-5 hours, to call and submit proof that phone was returned. Now almost 2 years later after the phone was purchased and returned they want me to pay for the phone I no longer have because they told me to return it. Really? This is the worse company by far! I asked for my phone back, but they won't return in, so they want to keep the product and money! I don't know to laugh or to cry. This is senility or scam, not sure which.

I canceled my line with T-mobile and canceled having wifi with them. The wifi does not work at all. I returned the wifi and supposed to get my refund. It's been over a month and every week they are giving me the same story and that I well see my refund in 48 hrs. I was on hold for over 20 minutes waiting to speak to a supervisor who ends up hanging up on me. Horrible service.

Since T-Mobile came a lot of sprint customers are going they hells with network. They say come get a new sim but then it's still the same. For 3 weeks I'm walking with a vaya Mifi device so I can at least get calls through WhatsApp. They do not prorate nor credit. Why do we have to pay when we are not even able to get service? I think best Sprint had stayed. T-Mobile is TRASH. I bet they gone lose a lot of customers. Right now I just wanna port over to Liberty smh.
Tip for consumers:
Getting the T-Mobile sim and discarding the sprint won’t solve your network issues. It’s all just a waste of time going down there sitting under that tent in this heat for nothing.

Long time ago there was a promo for families on T-Mobile. Somehow I got caught in that web simply by signing for a granddaughter's phone on delivery to a UPS facility. The acct belonged to me but some 5 yrs later I bought a new phone and found out that my family (in another state) shared my account! No! Don't want it! Assured, however, they paid their bills on time and there shouldn't be a problem. Subsequent to that, I ordered wireless internet service. It did not work for me and sent it back within 30-day window. Now, T-Mobile claims it was never received and they have placed a bad debt on my credit report (7 yrs!). There is more, but what to do? Seems like the industry wants to use T-Mobile's 5G Network! Can't even get them off my phone! During my more direct relationship with T-Mobile, I found its customer relations phone portal to be ONE BIG MESS. Also seems somewhere in the Philippines, my credit information is more concise than through TransUnion, Experian or Equifax!

Started with 130mbps. Now it's a good day when I get 10mbps. Usually falls around 5mbps. Been like this since April 2023. I've been given a new internet gateway, been told they're doing upgrades, been told to call back if it's not better each time and it's still the same. It's garbage but, affordable.

So I placed an order on the 2nd they told me it'll be here on the 6th, never arrived, when I called they said the order hasn't even been processed for shipping. After telling them at this point it cost me $90 a day to sit at a marina to wait they canceled the order and had me go into a store. Originally I would be paying $85 a month, after debiting my bank via the phone then debiting my bank at the store they tried to lock me in a 24-month contract at 140 a month I told them no way cancel this crap I'm out of here. 140 a month? That's the same amount I pay with Metro by T-Mobile with no contract and free phones. No wonder why they have a 1.7 rating I will never go back to T-Mobile to attempt to get their service
Tip for consumers:
I'm told I have to wait 7 to 10 days for the money on both transactions to reach my bank what a joke when an hour after date did the debit they did the credit or so they say! I guess we'll see in 7 to 10 business days

My service is the worst it just goes in and out, straight talk from Walmart gets better service. Proof from comparing with a buddy, and they charge out the wazoo, just to many glitches, it is literally like they block your service sometimes. Cannot believe this!

So my family member has disability can only make payments from his check with that being said instead of telling him sir this phone company may not be able to w0rk with you because we take out payment on our calender date, tell him that be honest that's what's it about right. Then you guys suspend his account taking that 100 from half of 164 to start services over pay the 64 dollars to start the services but don't even count that 100 dollars so he's paying 500 again because you suspend his account makes it look like he didn't even pay the 100 sorry I had to put a bad review on you guys but this is not even right Ono you guys end and hanging up in his face is not fair either he's trynna work with you but you not making things any easy for him tell him the truth I won't have anything bad to say godbless

I've been with tmobile 7years. Customer service is spotty but the most recent customer service agent I had-named Rose, was fantastic. She helped me resolve all my issues and took the time to explain my service and charges. Best customer service agent thus far from tmobile.

All I can say this company is a scam. I swished from Verizon and they told me was going to be one price now is double and not just that but they can't even find one of my phones that I trade and I told them I want my phones back they said is not possible? OMG I'm just so upset with this and they all blame each other?

I really hate making post like this but...
If you have a cell company your happy with, plz recommend.
I've been with T-MOBILE for 22 yrs, having a 6 line account for 19 of those years. I went into a store to upgrade and they wanted $110.00 for a new phone with trade in.(Tax and upgrade charge) I called customer service and the rep said she could give me a credit on the acct. Great, I thought. After going back to store, I was told it couldn't be done and they could only credit $35 dollars. Now, am I being unreasonable asking them to credit the total $110? Really, the new phone is $1200.00. Within the last 4 yrs customer service has really gone down with them. I've never missed a payment, had a late payment or a phone cut-off. I hate leaving a company I've been with so long, but I DONT feel appreciated as a LONG time customer. Thanks in advance for your recommendations. Be blessed!

T-mobile does not Honor their word,
I traded in my phone for a new one. Wouldn't allow me to pay new one off, told me after I receive my first bill I could pay off. I am stuck paying for 2 years. If I pay off early I would pay 999.00 instead of 500 trade in.
