I've had T-Mobile for 5+ years now and I've found that while mistakes are sometimes made, (usually during ill-advised store visits) their phone based customer service is very good at making up for it. Any time I have called them with an issue they have been very quick to correct it and to give me some kind of compensation or perk to make up for the loss. While the website has had a few issues in the past with user-friendliness, they have made regular improvements over the years that help immensely. If you demand perfection constantly, not the carrier for you, but if you have a tiny bit of patience, they do come through in the long run.
Phones are junk and they then charge you to restock their junk. In store makes a sale and then cant help you with anything and believe me...you WILL have problems. Customer service? Our entire family had TM phones and now are completely disgusted with the "service". Plan on spending hours on the phone as you get put on hold, swapped around, cut off over and over again, and get told something different with every call. Have had constant glitches with the GPS, volume, camera lens etc etc etc. They used to be worth the extra money every month but NO good reasons to stay with them anymore. Steer clear.
T mobile tried to over charge me and then after I canceled service they kept charging me for another month. I talked to the supervisor Brittany and she still was trying to charge me for service I never had. Their employees did not document my cancelation and they want me to pay for three months of service when I only had one month.

T-Mobile has lied to me repeatedly added services I didn't request, watched my bill inflate time and time again, tell me they will fix my
Bill but they don't and the worse part is I want away from them and cannot switch because they said " your phone must be paid off in full before you can switch " absolutely the worst company
Ever I MISS SPRINT

T-Mobile is the worse! I've tried for 2 months to get my name out of T-Mobile database! I Don't have T-Mobile anything and yet they took money from my account, I filed a dispute my money was refunded. I spoke to T-Mobile they assured me all was taken care of. Today, a month later I received a letter in the mail stating my account is delinquent. I DON'T have T-Mobile anything! I've had to reach out to all 3 credit bureaus letting them know to put a fraud alert on my account until T-Mobile removes me from their database. I've tried to no avail to get this matter corrected now I'm filing a complaint against T-Mobile in hopes this will be corrected soon. I've had to deactivate my card because of them. A TOTAL NIGHTMARE! T-Mobile SUCKS!

On July 6th I ordered T-Mobile service and was assured I could get voice over IP phone service with the modem they were shipping. When I received the device on 10 July and hooked it up and found out that it cannot do voice over IP on its own and it was return shipped on the 10th and received on my received email on the 19th via their shipping method and now I received a bill for $50 for nothing and I also owe are taking it out automatically on auto pay when I cancel the service on the 10th. These people are scammers from the word go. They lie do not trust them. On another note, the signal strength which they said would be great was one bar. This is the biggest scam I have run into in years. The only reason they got a one is because zero is not on the reading guide.

Long story short, I moved to Austin TX. The tmobile network here is just bad. Couldn't make phone calls or use the internet. After 15 years with T-Mobile, I had to switch services. I payed off all my equipment and canceled their service. Two month later I still get billed to my account. Called cuatomer service. Was told they would refund me a 100 dollar charge they put on this month June(I canceled in April). They never did. When I called them back, they told me the refund was 'denied'? Thanks for lying to me and just taking whatever money you want out of my account! Great service! Looking forward to my new service at AT&T. Should have switched much sooner. Seems like T-mobile utelises a business model close to planet fitness! Lol! Taking money, giving no service, not letting you cancel. Nice!

Nutshell: March 31,2022. The Live Chat lasted over 2 hours long. This was the second time I had contacted them to cancel certain devices; including one THEY chose an outrageously priced plan for. Why didn't it get added to the plan we already had?! Right, so they could scam us out of our money, just shy of $300 they stole. BUT WAIT, we've been sprint customers for 21 years, so that deserves a $58 credit. Then, as I'm checking the details on the bill this morning, Surprise! They never canceled the 3 devices I spent 2 hours trying to cancel. Clearly the confirmation number means NOTHING. LIARS AND THIEVES.

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY

For the month I have had Tmobile home internet I have had to call no less than 30 times due to LOST CONNECTION. Every ticket placed goes unresponsive. Of the 21 customers connected to my 'tower' 19 of them loose connection like me every night of the week. The sorriest customer support ever. If you want to know how to not run a company, this is the model.

The worst service ever! Always have trouble with phone calls having static and calls dropping not to mention, the cellular data is the worst. It takes an eternity to log into anything or open a webpage and they claim to have 5g service. I will never get service with T-Mobile again. I rate it ZERO STARS.

This has to be the worst of cell phone companies there is. They suck you in and promise the best dervice in the nation. We had more dropped calls than any other. Then after a year, I was told by a text that I had two days to give my banking information or I would be charged fifteen dollars a month to continue using a credit card. I thought it was a scam so I called. It was not a scam and I was told if I didn't give the bank info I would automatically be charged monthly. I told them to cancel all services. They didn't so I took my phones back and they said they could not take phones back. I got service and phones from the ATT Worldnet which was a much better service to begin with but T-Mobile promised so much better of a deal. Now they want 900.00 back for phones. NOT GOING TO HAPPEN.

Day one my phone was broke out of the box, told my bill out the door would be one thing then change to a different price. After Tmobile said they see the issue and admitted it was on them refussed to fix the issue. Then hangs up on the call. I spend hours over and over for a new person to get on the phone to fix the issues all of it. (There is a BUNCH!) I spent a LOT out of pocket to get the phones and lines. Only to be hung up on amd let down. HORRABLE!

This is the worst telecom company, I do not recommend anyone to share with them, even if they offered you a free line, because then they will steal you by deceiving you and take unwarranted amounts from the start. I do not have an international communication service. From the start, when my son played on the phone and made an international phone call, even though I am not a subscriber to the international call service, they added $ 134 to the monthly bill. When we contacted the customer service, they never helped us and also offered to share with them and take IPhone 7 is free to give them your old phone this offer all Lie with them, and after they did not pay socialist the full amount of the company and the old was vorizen and the old company Talaptna to pay $ 200 increase because the company did not t mobil pay them the full amount

We used the willamette st store, in Eugene OR. NONE of the promises we were made- low cost per monthly bill, low cost of phone trade ins, pay off of Att phones, cable bundle service - none of it has been accurate or true. Our bill is greater than before, the phone discounts and trade in were not as represented and the 5g service for cable was not available as promIsed. We have had to return over and over with complaints trying to get the plan promised. The reality is they outright lied like used car salesmen and 3 months later when the real bill hit nothing was accurate. New Phones amounts owed are >$800 not $200 as promised with trade in credits, trade in credits took 2 months not 2 weeks to arrive, bill is over $300 a month not the $180 estimated at time of contract switch. Bogus bait and switch tactics which should be illegal. Buyer bewarev!

They have lots of lights and bells and whistles which seem good on the outside. Not too concerned about poor coverage in rural areas, for the most part coverage was good. However, customer service was horrible. I was charged way more than the original contract and had to call every few days for months to get things resolved. Took screenshots and pictures of texts, and contracts. Now I tried to transfer out... I've been trying to unlock my phones for over a week. Multiple phone calls, multiple chats, and they said they finally got it unlocked. We ported the lines since they said it was done. Now, my family is without phones because TMOBILE did NOT UNLOCK THEM! The new Sim cards won't activate due to the carrier lock! After being on chat with them for 8 hours, they got my son's fixed. Now, 24 hours later, my daughter and I still have no cell service. They said ours were fixed too, but it may take a couple of hours to update... now I'm trying to chat and on hold with customer service with a borrowed phone. They say they can't find my account now... magically I have internet with them still. The incompetence is really sad.

Ever since Sprint was bought out by T-Mobile this company has been stealing my money left and right. First, my bill went up by $50 randomly when they promised all sprint customers that their plans and rates would not change. When I called in they said it was because a "promotional period" on the leased phone on one of my lines ended. I was not aware that this promotion had an expiration date as normally when you trade in a phone they apply a credit of your trade in to the account and discount your every month bill. Then, I went on a cruise and very specifically only used my unlimited texts and data in Mexico that I was sure to check I had on my sprint plan before going but when I returned I was charged $25 for "texts and data overseas". After all this I changed over to Verizon to get my own plan and give my existing T-Mobile plan to the other user. I was unknowingly overcharged on my last bill and received a prepared card for a refund. I read the terms and apparently this card has fees, so they're still getting some of my money that was not rightfully theirs. Then, I tried using their new 5G WiFi and when I decided to return it after only 2 days, which is within their 14 day trail period, and I noticed on my bank statement I was still charged the $50 almost 14 days AFTER I returned the WiFi and cancelled my service. The representative said that "the reason this happened is because when your service was cancelled your automatic payment wasn't cancelled in our system" so she had to "request a refund". Absolute scammers. Do not trust them.

Absolutely worst company I've ever had a phone plan with. I had the essentials plan of 90 dollars per month. Came to find out they charged me 138 dollars! I called them to resolve the issue and after a long discussion, they were just going around the issue. They "canceled" my 138 dollar payment and charged me 106 dollars instead. Wasn't it supposed to be 90? NO! They were charging me extra for taxes and what not (not mentioned ever). That's not all, in the same week they charged the 138 dollar payment they supposedly canceled! This company has the worst customer service, the worst quality for signal, and they HIDE ADDITIONAL CHARGES. Do not get T-Mobile!

I spent a total of 11 hours spanned over 3 days to try to straighten to get my phone to work. Couldn't make any calls, kept getting "restricted and unavailable" msg. Got so frustrated dealing with thier customer servcie and decided to just close my account. Only to find out the "NO CONTRACT" phone service has a 24 months contract that's tied to the phone. If i port out my phone number to a different carrier, the devices will be due in full; so the free phone that i received will not be free anymore and need to be paid for in full along with the other phone that i have been making payments. The phone that i've been making payment has a 24 mo. Contract and the free phone has a 30 mo. Contract that i was not aware of as that was never brought up when i signed up for service. So don't be fool by the "NO CONTRACT" service offer. Unless you plan to stay with them for 24 mo. Or 30 mo. STAY AWAY, there are better companies to work with.
Tip for consumers:
Don't be fooled by their "NO CONTRACT" service if you are getting a device from them. Their ”no service contract" is actually a 24 mo. or 30 mo. contract that ties to the phone you receive and making installment payments.

Tmobile sent a phone that I didn't ask for because I have insurance through their recommended company ASSURANCE. They first asked for $900 and then lowered it to $645. I refused to pay because they did not disclose they were sending this item and refused to take it back despite not receiving the phone because they sent it to the wrong address. Why would I agree to pay $900 for a phone when my insurance would replace the phone for $99?

It took 6 phone calls and a trip into the store and 2 months to get a $146 refund. A payment posted to my old T-Mobile account rather than my Sprint account and they would not transfer the funds. I was told a check would be mailed, then they asked for my banking info and said it would be refunded directly to my bank account then they finally mailed me a refund credit card to the WRONG ADDRESS! After a total of 7 points of contact and the fact that they actually still do business with me thru Sprint, they could not manage to use my current address. If I could offer less than 1 star, I would.
